We recently hired RIVERMIST LANDSCAPE to do our front yard. They installed an interlock walk way and put new grass. I was very happy with their work. Our old yard had all these weed shrubs and little trees growing, everywhere!! The guys at Rivermist, cleaned all this up nicely before putting the new soil and laying the new grass sods. They dug deep into the ground and removed all of these weed shrubs and the unwanted little trees at the root level, thus preventing them from growing again. Also, I had some existing interlock that had a lot of sunken in bricks. While laying the new interlock walkway, they also went in (above and beyond the original work order) and repaired all of the old interlock -- free of charge! ... They put sand and leveled it nicely...much appreciated. Now everything looks new and nice! Thank you Rivermist for a job well done! Yes, I recommend them for your next landscaping project.

How well did Rivermist accomplish their goal of Expanding our living space by building it with quality service ? Our outdoor living space - the front patio and pathways to the side of the house and the deck - needed work. We provided Rivermist our overall 2D design diagrams for the landscaping project - new front patio and pathways, downspout drainage using popup valves and backyard resodding - and their owner Wahab discussed with us the options when changes were needed during the construction. The renovation that they completed effectively expanded the space by optimizing the design, including the size and number of the steps, the angle of curvature of the borders and the grading of the pathways. The improvements that were made are helpful to seniors like us when working outside the house. The wider steps improved our safety and comfort when walking on the steps, the simpler curvature of the borders simplified the lawn maintenance and the grading of the pathways guided the rainwater flow. The construction of the pathway to the deck needed coordination with the deck builders (MyDeck.ca) who installed the deck posts first and then waited until Rivermist completed the landscaping project and prepared the underdeck grounds which facilitated the start and construction of the deck. Rivermist completed the project in one and a half weeks. They were committed to their schedule. Their team members are skilled, efficient and personable. The new front patio and pathways are beautiful! Rivermist expanded our outdoor living space, building them with excellent quality and best value in price. We strongly recommend them for your landscaping project.

He thinks of everything and finds little ways to make the experience more comfortable and less of a nuisance for the client and their surrounding neighbors, such as: hosing the pavers down with water while cutting them with the saw so that no dust flies around; having a container on site on the first day so that your street doesn t get all dirty with the soil that is excavated; and even using wheelbarrows instead of tractors to carry things around. I obtained a number of quotes to have interlock put in the backyard and Rivermists price was more than reasonable. Wahab (owner) and his crews workmanship and professionalism were second to none. They finish the job on time and my wife and I were extremely happy with the results. I had some of my pavers crack (which wasnt their fault) and they came back and replace the ones the year after at no charge. Like many home owners this year (COVID-19) we decided to do interlock and patio. We thought we will do it ourselves with help of friends but quickly we realized it s out of our comfort zone to handle the project of this size. I have hired the Rivermist Landscaping team for two separate projects on my property and I have to say that the quality of their work is simply excellent. I was so impressed by the initial patio project they performed in my back yard that I asked them to come back and create a stone walkway with a retaining wall along the front of our porch and down the side of the driveway in addition to excavating the grass from the front lawn (it wasnt growing well) and replacing with topsoil and a river rock pattern along the front. Once again the work was excellent, both in quality and performed in a very timely fashion. In addition the price for both projects was very reasonable.
