Michael M came out to service my lawn and my parents’. It’s our first experience with Massey and our initial impression is excellent. Michael was very pleasant and took the time to explain the process and what to expect with future treatments. My folks’ lawn is in pretty good shape so we expect to see a big improvement quickly. My lawn … not so much That will be the true test . But we’re off to a great start so far.
Santos is the most efficient, dedicated, pleasant Massey employee I have ever had the pleasure of servicing my account. His tenacity has been the best since he has been servicing my lawn, shrubs and irrigation system. I had a severe case of chinch bugs that destroyed over half of my rear yard. Come to find out that there was an issue with the product which gave the appearance of increasing their activity instead of killing them. After installing about 20 plus treys of Sod plugs only to give the bugs something new to destroy it was discovered that the product that was being used was defective. After changing the product and several pretreatments he was able to obtain approval to replace at least 2 pallets of the sod. My rear yard is now green again instead of looking like the Mohab dessert. Job well done thanks to santos. He never gave up and is totally responsible for keeping me informed and a satisfies Massey Customer.
I called Massey services this morning with a broken sprinkler head. Paul came out and not only fixed the broken sprinkler but inspected all the other sprinkler heads and did some adjustments. Paul also had some topsoil in his truck and filled in a hole that the sprinkler caused from all the excess water. Thanks again Paul for your excellent service!
A company's true colors show when you need to cancel your services. Does Massey make it easy? No, they cling to your leg like a codependent child. Multiple phone calls are useless. They even have to come over to your house one more time. If you tell them that what you want, as a customer, is to cancel without hassle, they won't care. They'll pause briefly, then give you a runaround so that a manager can try and rescue you as a customer. How stinking desperate is that? Massey needs to be nagged and reminded by the customers in order to get the service you're paying for. You need your hands held like children. Response to the owner: DID YOU SERIOUSLY JUST TRY TO RESCUE ME AS A CUSTOMER AGAIN? Why would I email you and waste my time dealing with your co-dependencies and terrible communication skills, completely ignoring my requests. You're a crappy company. I specifically requested and had it noted in my account, NOT to rescue me as a customer, and your manager still wastes my time?! That's a special level of incompetence and desperation that I want to be nowhere near. You can't listen to your customers, at all, at a basic level. I'm surprised you could read this review.
Sean repaired the leak in our irrigation system extremely carefully and very well done. The repair was more difficult than he thought and was concerned that he would have to remove a bush. After reassessing the situation he found a way to save our plant. Kudos to Massey for having an employee of Sean’s caliber. Charles Dauber!!✌️
My husband and I have been using Massey Services, Ormond Beach, for almost 4 years and are extremely happy with both the exterior and interior effects of this company. our exterior lawn, shrubs, and perimeter of our property are very lush and green. The careful application of all treatments have given us a lawn and landscape that passers-by compliment. The pest control service has provided us with worry-free living from insects and any damaging insects. The technicians are professional, knowledgeable, and always ready to see if there is a concern. Years ago I knew I needed professional assistance if I ever wanted a healthy lawn. I met with Massey and they told me the truth, that good things take time. I was willing to be patient, and they have changed a yard that had more than its share of dirt and crabgrass, to one that brings me compliments and wonder from my neighbors who have witnessed in amazement the transformation. Cory Ruettgers was our technician initially, and he was INCREDIBLY patient with my questions, courteous, and did an exceptional job. We have continued with Massey for over 3 years now, and cannot thank them enough for the attention to detail and excellent customer service. Healthy, thick lawn, happy customer! Green is good! Having used all the above services spanning three years, I can write conclusively that Massey Services are at the Pinnacle! All of the best attributes of a thriving, well-maintained lawn and shrubbery are so pleasing to me. All of the men and women associated with Massey and My Account are Exceptional Professionals starting with Cory, Robert, the General Manager, Kyle, Lawn Technician, Mark, Irrigation Installation, Jennifer, Lacy, office staff, and, of course, Timothy, the Service Manager of Irrigation! Recently, Tim returned to my property to trouble-shoot those not fully functional aspects of a completely updated, irrigation system involving 46 sprinklers, that were designed and installed in 2020. Mine was an aged system of 33 years. He diligently determined where the improvements were necessary. As a result, almost every square foot of lawn and shrubbery are receiving adequate watering, when necessary. A few weeks ago, and at the end of his day, Tim and I had a lengthy phone conversation about aspects I didnt understand. This conversation took place after hours and while Tim had been suffering with (Cervical) neck pain. In fact, Tim returned to my home weeks prior soon after his injury; and with great determination overcame those minor areas of irrigation needing improvement. All these small areas were fully corrected and even with a smile!! Tim is a dedicated member of the Massey Team. He utilizes his many years of Lawn Maintenance Experience to optimize the Lawn Treatments. I am, indeed, very appreciated of the Massey TEAM!

Massey Services Green Up sold me a contract to maintain my lawn. I paid a year in advance, $495.00. The grass is dead. I had a walk way that was compacted on the side of the house. They didnt aerate my entire grass area but they did aerate the area of dirt which was a pathway through my garden. By aerating the walkway, I ended up with a mole problem and lots of mole tunnels. My pathway is ruined. Also, I told them I was in the process of selling my house. I wanted them to maintain the grass while the house was on the market. Apparently, they have small print on the back of the contract that states that you are signing for a 24 month contract. BEWARE. Bad service and bad policy and bad presentation. They tell you how much you owe but dont point out that they will continue to charge you after the contract that you have signed is over.
Do not be fooled by their customer satisfaction guarantee I only had a couple months of service and told them I was not satisfied they proceeded to tell me how it dont matter I have a past due and it needs to be paid had zero concerns with what my unsatisfactory was with and then continue to harass and call me for weeks and weeks defending their employees and my reasons for being dissatisfied after dealing with the customer service person the manager Jennifer proceeded to call me and harass me more and after I told her to stop calling she said unfortunately we are going to keep calling your lawn will look nice and green but if youre unsatisfied beware
I started using Massey for my lawn in April of 2017, it was in pretty bad shape when they started, it looks amazing now! My lawn specialist Jon has done an outstanding job and I am thrilled with the results! I would highly recommend using them for lawn services!
