I stopped to buy rock. Upset I got in!! They were Closed he said lol. I don't know what to think about that. Gate was open, we drove in, and the door was open. Obviously he wanted to shoo me out instead of getting my money. I wanted to Look Around, I needed items! Nope.
I called to place an order and was insulted with the guy I dealt with. He sounded extremely anxious and said to me “ I will call you back with a price how are you paying?” I said it depends on the total. Is this your cell # I will call you back with a price. Make sure you keep your phone on you, this is a cell phone right? You do have a check right?” I was now anxious. I felt as though he treated me like a child or demented old lady. I got my delivery 3 yrds bl dirt and 2 yards limestone. WELL it took me two days to sift through the debris that was throughout the dirt. It looked like black burned rubber. I saved a bucket full to show them and I asked what is this? The older women said she didn’t know but “they can’t help what gets delivered to them”. Then the limestone was littered with tiny pebbles and a lot of crushed stone. I went by twice to try and resolve the issue but was met with sarcasm. I have used this company 1.5 and 6 months ago to lay #2 40x10’ limestone driveways and was satisfied with the products. Something is surely wrong with this order and I was told the owner would call on Thursday and come out to my home to inspect the issues. Well no call. I called on Friday and the “owner” said he was very busy and would come out but not until next week!!! I have waited now since 12/02/24 and have not been able to use the limestone because it will not be enough since a lot is pebbles and dust. I will NEVER use or recommend Weedo’s again. I have had GREAT customer service, product and fast clean deliveries from JOE MILLERS and will use them for all my projects and all future business projects. BBB will be contacted. I have been more than patient I was RIPPED OFF and they know it

We agree with the reviews that describe this place as not looking for business and not very helpful to the retail buyer. We arrived at the location and it was like we were completely invisible to the staff. Even when we asked for help. I don't know how reviewers experienced "great customer service" but we ended up leaving without buying anything.
Although Weedos is a nice local soils, gravel, rock, fertilizer and Mulch business and is a family owned one at that, it is a rather small facility, that doesn't provide much room for many customers to wait in line for loading and even less if some small local landscaping trucks with trailers pull in, so the wait line may be lengthy, esp if impatient, so either grin it and bear it or go pay the higher prices elsewhere! Plus their hours are rather short, so just be aware they may be out of what you want! They do need to rearrange how things should work more efficiently and better communication between office and the staff outside! Koodos to what they manage to do under such tight circumstances!
Great local business for getting rocks. They had a really good deal on the rocks I wanted. I needed to get rocks for my driveway and they gave me the perfect amount. They deliver too. Highly recommend going to Weedo's for all your rock needs.

Weedos is not looking for any new business, dont bother calling. If you ask any questions the fellow who answers will demand you come in because hes got 7 customers with cash ready... He cant tell you whats available or how much it costs, either. Obviously he has more business than he can handle already

I am very pleased with Mr. WEEDO personally helping me continually with my parking lot project at The Phoenix Apts, 512 Phoenix Avenue, Daytona Beach Fl 32118. He has been here countless times to advise on the best materials to use and even sent a caterpillar two times to grade and spread the Gravel af his expense. I am truly grateful for Mr Weedos help and expertise . I intend to buy Gravel and other building materials exclusively from Mr. Weedo in the future for all my landscaping needs, just as I have in the past twenty years of owning The Phoenix Oceanside Art Deco Apartments. Today my husband went there twice for half load of paver base. Two diffrent prices for the same product?? When I went in and asked why the lady barely looking up says my son didnt charge him right the first time. Now mind you a whole load of paver base is 54$ plus tax. We spent $80 plus tax and then she even charged my husband an extra 2$ for a receipt!!!! Very unfair that on the same day we paid 2 diffrent prices as well as got rude customer service from the lady!!! Very unpleasant experience to say the least!!!

I arrived 10-15 minutes before closing, was refused service. Jow millers mulch right next door was very polite and very happy to serve me. I would highly advise Joe millers mulch over weedos.

No one seemed interested in our business
My experience dealing with the company was frustrating. I got a grumpy voicemail asking to confirm my order the prescheduled day of delivery. When I returned the call a man answered and couldnt figure out why I was caling back. I tried to ask a question about the color of the rock to be delivered and he got frustrated. I will call you back, he said. The next thing I know, my neighbor calls me because the delivery driver wants a check for the rock in my driveway. He was rude and not the least bit accomodating. I wasnt home because I was expecting a call back to confirm my order. Lastly, the rock is not the right color. But then again, it must have been my fault.

Update: The owner reached out regarding the issue and they gave us another yard of stone free of cost to compensate for the previous load which was full of sand. They charge so much for delivery and the stone they delivered was full of sand. About half yard of the full yard the delivered was sand. Also, placing order over the phone is extremely difficult. The woman who picks up the call is very rude and told me to hold several times before she actually got back to me. All I had to do was give my address and payment information but it took me 5-6 calls to do that.

Asked for the Vet discount as I am broke as a joke and can t rent a tent and this place proceeded to charge me $426 for load of fill that I just found for $225 ! My son 15 needs covid masks at $5 a pop! What is this ???? Avoid this price gouging company at all costs . Shame and justice will find them.
I have had white marble delivered a couple of times for home projects. They have always come out when they said they would, and always done just as they said.

I got a load of gravel for my driveway. The lady in the office is great at describing the various types of stones they have. My order was delivered promptly. Got a good ammount of gravel for my money.Just wish he had spread it a bit better. But I for sure would buy from them again. Fairly priced.

I love this store. Living just 1.2 miles away helps with quick professional deliveries. Ive had sand, stones and top soil delivered from them and Ive not been disappointed. Definitely go to this store and not the one next door.

Quick response and quality product. Called on a Thursday afternoon for a delivery of 10 yards of clean fill dirt. They delivered 1st thing Friday morning with a smile on the drivers face. The fill dirt was extremely clean and we didn t have to pick any debris out of it. Highly recommended landscaping supply house.
