Very satisfied with Drake lawn and Pest control. Since last year that we contacted this service we noticed the great change on our lawn. The technician is doing a great job.

I wanted an appointment for treatment not an assessment. In analogy I wanted a date not a marriage certificate.

Loyalty is not free, it is deserved. I believe 100% that Drake is loyal to their industry and customers from our tech to the very top. So Drake has earned my loyalty back. Drake is the best for many reasons: 1. Their Techs are great at communicating with me. 2. Drake is on the cutting edge on Florida lawn care. They have their own scientist constantly going one on one with any and every bug our sunshine state can throw at their customers. 3. They stand begin their product! Several areas of my grass had bug issues and died. Now I walk out and see freshly laid sod, courtesy of Drakes excellent warranty. I am really loyal now. 4. I am excellent at what I do, that can recognize when some other company tries to be the best at what they do. 5. Least of all, I kind of like the little duck sign in my front yard. 6. Lastly my yard has look great for years under their care. 7. Only once did the bugs get the best of us, and Drake identified the issue, squashed the bugs and replaced my grass! Thank you Drake for helping with my termite issues. Downtown Orlando is notorious for having constant termites, so having a company to maintain pest control is a must. While other companies pushed me to tent the house for $5k, Drake could rectify my issues and bond for a fraction of the cost. Technician Samuel was a joy to work with and made the entire experience easy. Highly recommend!

Here we go again. Is the tech not seeing this?? Are these weeds considered uncontrollable ? I can guarantee you that this will be another area that will be taken over by crabgrass. Since the company increased their prices considerably, you would think they could do better.

My grass was really bad ,was using another company but was not working, I call Drake lawn day came end look to see the grass, have been now 8 months end my grass is full nice and green, end communication is very good, after the technician finished, i get a email the service was done, end the grass have to be water for the fertilizer get activated end stars doing his work. I had this service for few months, but each time they send me photos with problems that I get their service to do. We need to cancel because it was waste money.

I requested that Drake repair and tune my system in June of this year. They asked if I could move the pavers out of their way. What I wanted was a full service. They agreed to move them but not put them back when done. They charged my credit card a day in advance of the work and explained it as a courtesy. The system stopped working end of November this year. The estimator was unable to diagnose the issue. The tech came out and wrote up a repair quote including the replacement of valves that had been replaced in the June visit. He also claimed there was a leak under the pavers that was part of the problem. I brought in another company and he had the system running within a half hour having made adjustments to one of the new valves. The personnel all very polite and accommodating but I do not think irrigation is their specialty. Probably great for pest control.

Real nice techs, guy parks at the pump(circle k at rangeline and 434) and goes inside, leaves his truck blocking a pump at 8am, never gets fuel, then comes back and sits in his truck for another 5min. Inconsiderate to other people, not who I d hire, much less allow on my property.

Had an emergency with the irrigation valve box. Davon came to do the initial inspection and had a solution within minutes of investigating. Couldnt schedule him today (earliest was next week) to fix the issue but he ended up coming back after his later appointments were canceled; he understood the dire need of getting this fixed. Really appreciate his service and attitude towards the job and with me. His confidence gave me reassurance.

The customer service with Drake when compared to other lawn and pest control companies in the central FL area is not even close. Our service consultant, Chase, is amazing to work with. He came out on short notice and gave an honest opinion on a plan to remedy our yard and was completely transparent with everything. They are also easy to communicate with, schedule appointments for other inquiries/services, and they do great work.

Only 2 visits in and completely happy!! My technician, Sam, is the sweetest guy!! Very personable and professional. He took care of my immediate problem, very prompt and efficient. My dogs love him too!!

Very professional and very educational. The rep came out to give the quote and did so much more! He inspected the entire property lawn, trees and shrubs. He even adjusted our irrigation system to max performance. All that before even agreeing to their service! Gave us great advice on what services we should have and the prices were very reasonable.

STAY AWAY. WORST LAWN CARE COMPANY. I first called Drake because I noticed I was losing the weed battle in my backyard. Time to call in the professionals right? right? Well you would think paying 70 bucks a pop would result in some kind of prevention. NOPE. 2 months later we got chinch bugs and completely DESTROYED MY LAWN UNDER THEIR WATCH. I was mad and called the company. My representative tried to tell me it was my irrigation system. The manager came out and confirmed it was indeed chinch bugs. but don t worry! You get a guarantee. He told me he would have someone come by and put in some lawn plugs two months later. It hasn t happened. Thanks for NOTHING. While the manager was there inspecting my lawn I pointed out various weeds in my lawn. He then told me how to kill them wet them and put baking soda on them ARENT I PAYING YOU TO DO THIS?!?! My neighbor came over and was showing me something in my backyard. While walking around we were bombarded by insects. She said you really should hire one of these lawn care guys to take care of these pests I was embarrassed to say I give drake 70 dollars a month to handle this. What a joke. I m done with these bonzos. I called to cancel everything. They then told me I have to give a 30 day notice. So now I have to pay AN ADDITIONAL 210 DOLLARS ( 70 for lawn, 70 for pests, 70 for mosquitos) FOR A SERVICE I HATE. Drake LIES and is INEFFECTIVE.

This review is specifically for lawn technician Jonathan L (servicing East Oakland). We have had three different lawn care companies before Drake and several different technicians before Jonathan. We are INCREDIBLY happy with Jonathan. He not only identifies the issues, but also follows up appropriately. We know lawn pests can be difficult, but without timely and consistent follow-up, they will persist. He always checks in and works with us on how to move forward. After prior neglect, this is the first time our shrubs have started to improve. The technician you get truly makes a difference, and we are so happy with Jonathan.

Mike, the manager, was here last week and we discussed how my newly sod area was reacting to Drakes treatment. Then, today Kevin, my regular technician did an additional follow-up. Now we have Hurricane Milton hammering at our state so having Kevin here to keep me posted and treating the lawn is encouraging. I have never had such great response from any company I have used in the past.

Hi! I have been with this company (DREKE) for more than 7 months to fertilize my lawn every month! The first few months my service was fantastic, with the employee... I only spoke to him once to let him know what a good job he was doing... he was always very professional, I dont know the reasons why he didnt come to do the service anymore, they changed another person and from there my nightmare began, this guy was just talking on the phone all the time, he wasnt doing his job well, I went out, talked to him, and told him he wasnt doing a good job... he called the office and they sent me a manager, things never changed, I tried to give him some time, the guy was very absent-minded, he continued doing a lousy job, he came to the office... and he never gave me a good answer, he only defended being underemployed, his company, he preferred to let me go as a client and the guy ended my grain... its too unusual how we are living and leaving people without knowledge to work because there are no employees... really very disappointed with This company and its employees, except for the first person I mentioned... now without service and without grass... be very careful with this company, they are the only ones who are right, its all lies... when you make a claim, nothing they offer is fulfilled afterwards... be careful

Davon came out to look at my lawn he explained to me about my sprinkler he set it up also found a sprinkler head that was not working it was no trouble for him to replace the broken sprinkler head and also waited to watch as the system was completed. My lawn was looking pretty shabby. It was turning yellow and my previous fertilizer company kept telling me that was normal for Florida. I hired Drake and within a few weeks my lawn was greened up and starting to look pretty good. Ive been using them for 4 months now and my lawn is green and thick and almost no weeds at all. I now have one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood and I keep having neighbors ask who Im using for my lawn service. I highly recommend Drake to all my friends and family.

I ve used this company for over 3years. They call me a day or two before they arrive and knock on the door the day they arrive. The technicians are friendly always attentive to any questions or concerns I might have and they really really do the entire area of my house. Most of all the office personnel are always available and will return any calls with in a couple of hours or so.

Update. Area manager called about my 1 star review. Called him back at the # he gave and lady had NO idea who he was. Just an absolute joke. DO NOT use Drake simply put there are the worst lawn service comp out there.

I have tried many st augustine grass fertilizers etc and even planted plugs..I thought my only hope is re-do my whole lawn..But DRAKE give me result after 4 weeks. Isaac and John was brilliant guys, answered all my question, very patient and give me guidance/feedback every other month. Hola, my lawn is one of the good or even the best lawn so far in my neighbourhood.

My lawn that we spent so much time money and effort on gets worse and worse as the weeks pay and Drake has taking over! They keep sending out managers to inspect but then they don t do anything and it gets worse

Very disappointed in overall service. Initial assessment of the lawn needs were inaccurate and as a result it was not treated properly. Unfortunately, the lawn looks worse than prior to hiring your company. If I pay for a service, I expect to see results.

My experience is kind of mixed, I used them in my new home since day 1 as the lawn was just installed and I wanted to ensure it s really well taken care of, I was encouraged by the fact that they are all over our community and they started off so well and the lawn was really looking great and more greeny and healthy. Over time (3 months later) the lawn started to deteriorate and a lot of dead spots started to appear, when I reached out to the manager I was told it s the PH from Florida soil and the bad irrigation! I completely disagreed because I adjusted my irrigation to their recommended times and in fact it s raining season in Florida so you can t stop over watering anyway! These responses didn t make sense to me because they said they are experienced with this type of lawn on day 1. Next visit after the call I was told the bad areas will be retreated and now it s 3 weeks with no change. I ll give it another month and if no change it s not worth the money so I ll stop service and shop around. Follow up: I had a visit by the general manager, Chris, and he made a thorough check and reviewed the irrigation system to diagnose the issue. It s now a mix of weather, hot & rain conditions and some issues with irrigation system and how it is set up, he helped fixing the position of some water sprinklers which I appreciate and he explained all what s happening to the lawn and why. Overall I m increasing the rating from 3 to 4 because they cared about my concern and because they made the effort and made the visit

So disgusted with this company! I paid them $719 to replace a few sprinklers and put in a box less than four months later, the outdoor box with all the electrical wiring is flooded and they won t come repair it because they only give 30 day warranty! I paid for the sprinkler system maintenance for a couple of months canceled their service and canceled the Lawn when I was the only one who had a mysterious grass growing in my front yard but not the neighbors on either side of me. Had Beautiful Saint Augustine grass for five years until I hired them for three months. Neither one of my neighbors have the aggressive grass but somehow the seeds got in my yard which is like 20 feet wide. Who knows what happened but they cannot get rid of it, so I got rid of them. Now I have no idea how much it s going to cost to repair the lawn AND fix the sprinkler system! This might explain why my water bill has been so high for three months right after they fixed it. Unbelievable customer service and give a care! Update: to fix the job, four months after Drake s repair a mere $850!

I started my lawn care service with Drake a few weeks ago and my lawn is looking better than it has ever been. I used a competitor and they seemed to treat my lawn like everyone else s lawn. Weeds still showed up never died and they never noticed the bug problem I had that was killing my grass. Josh T. came out today and talked with me on how I can take advantage of these treatments with proper watering and putting grass plugs in where the bugs killed the grass. I have had the worse experience with Drake Lawn. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years. Through the years my lawn went from lush and beautiful to dry patches. I requested yearly checkups with the representatives and every year it became increasingly worse. This year was the worse of all. After inspection, they informed me that my grass was the way it was because of my sprinkler system. So....what i am understanding was that my sprinkler system has not been working properly for a couple of years and now they inform me that i was the reason my grass was dead. Not cool for a loyal customer. I should have been informed this years ago...so i could fix the problem.

I asked for a supervisor and was told there is not one. I told her to cancel my service, my neighbors lawn looks better than mine and they use Massey

I signed a contract with Drake Lawn and Irrigation Services on April 24,2024. The irrigation was to be controlled remotely through a hydrawise Wi fi controller( cost of $ 350.00 ) and a wireless Rain sensor ( cost $203.00 ). This system did not work at all first due to electric interruption or interception with a pest control instrument that I had in another electric outlet in same garage . System did not work even after taking the pest infrared or signal off . The manager in regional Orlando office then called and said that it was not working because of weak Wi fi in my house and he recommended that I get a Spectrum wi fi amplifier at added costs to me , the customer. In May 29 I cancelled the shrub and irrigation services because all 4 regions of my lawn were very dry / dying. In May 30 I Canceled all services ; the same day it was recommended to get more wifi equipment. This Drake lawn care and Irrigation has great salesman Ryan Ruiz who promised greener lawn better than all neighbors around I had tried True green and Luv a lawn in last 2 years and was not pleased with their lawn maintenance and weeds control . In May 30 through today June 4. , 2024 I called and spoke to manager Chris ; asking him to reimburse me for the $553.00 equipment that never worked and I cancelled this one year contract less than 2 months after signing. The salesman and Chris both say I can break the contract but the equipment is mine to pay for but not use anymore. Conclusión. Warning to any senior citizen this Drake Lawn and Irrigation business IS NOT senior citizen friendly. I can break the contract with more $$$$ losses to me , the naive customer. The manager told me today that he will deduct (approx $110 for money he has to pay his employee to come and get the equipment in my garage - less than 10 minutes job !!!!! So he will give $443 .00 to me and very likely charge next customer $553 ( to next stupid customer , who might not check all these bad reviews before signing contract. ) In contract there is NO WARNING if there is electric or wifi problems - it is ONLY the customers fault and customer only is expected to pay more and fix the problems as they appear.{ I think this should be added in big letters to the contract - to be honest}. This business is NOT senior citizen friendly. Contract does not mention the expectations of the business and the customer. Run away. Do not allow yourself to be fooled by the great salesmen and pretty green lawn pictures. This business - Drake lawn and Irrigation services is NOT Willing to compromise fairly with seniors ZERO.in rate from 1 to 10 Business s manager -Chris s - never said his last name - s manners and people skills ZERO - in rate from 1 to 10 Follow up June 5,2024. More DISHONESTY from whoever from Drake Irrgation and Lawn Services wrote requesting me to take off this review. I had NEVER before this note been offered by the business representative that THEY would give me a wifi amplifier with NO cost to me. THROUGH this note I hear of this for the FIRT time. Therefore more evidence of dishonesty. I will NOT delete this review. I have no reason to lie.

I had their service since 2017 and recently the price started to go up after 3 times I ask why and I guess is my foul that no notification ever was sent when price changes were made, I can only imagine how many people are paying a lot more than what they actually set for . Well Update: Since you decide to answer my review here is a screen shot of you text to me when I asked, I guess besides taking advantage of clients you also are very good at lying good luck running your scam!

After a month and a half, and having them come back, we still have ants all over the yard and on the back porch and front walkway. When asking to cancel and get a refund, I am told I have to wait for a manager call back. Manager calls back 6+ hours later and says he cant just refund me because its not my company. Horrible management skills and unable to de-escalate problems. I was told someone would call back and I am still waiting for that call back. I keep getting placed on hold and I get to hear about the residential money back guarantee but so far I cannot tell. Why do I have to fight to get my hard earned money back for a service that is not working for me?

I been with this company for a couple of years. My first experience when I used to live in Poinciana was excellent, except when I sold the house and call for cancellation, they gave me a hard time because of a 30 day notice policy cancellation,, wich I was like fine, I m canceling because I m moving not because I don t like the service, but they still ask for the 30 day, fine, do another treatment for the house buyer, yet. I purchased a new home in November 2023, started a new service in December, I was scheduled for 3 treatments in a row December, January, February and after that I was supposed to start every other month, that was the plan with the sales guy. They showed up in March, treated and charge me. I had to call and fight for them to reimburse me that money for a service that wasn t supposed to be and not only that, my lawn was treated at that time for 4 months and my lawn was (and still) looking like is NOT been treated compared to others neighbors that are just cutting their lawn and not even treating them. End up getting my money back for that extra month and they sent a Manager to see the lawn. He comes and talk Lawn language, ph, blah, blah, and offer some extra treatments for free for the month of April to try fix the lawn and NO treatment in the month of April. I noticed in April that there was NO improvement and decided in May 1st to write an email to cancel the service knowing that they are going to give me a hard time with the 30 day notice, but I was ok waisting $167 for the last time. During this whole time my treatments were done in the first 15 days of the month, but because I canceled the service, the last service was scheduled for May the 30th, the end of the month, and they decided as a Custumer Goodbye Gift, they added, without telling me and knowing that I was cancelling, they add a SIT service for $149. ( SIT= summer incecticide treatment) GRAND TOTAL FOR LAST TREATMENT $316. So, If I was you, stay away from this company, apparently is all about the money.BTW photos are from today June 5th 2024 and it was treated May 30th. 6/12/2024 NEW REPLY TO OWNER: This company doesn t even know how to respond to a review professionally. I have had a few other landscape maintenance and care providers through the years but none of them made a consistent difference in my landscape. Last year I found Drake Lawn & Pest Control through a Google search, saw the high ratings and decided to call for a service estimate. Micah was the sales person and he was excellent. Not pushy, and he did not try to over sell me. The rate was very fair so I signed the contract, and Ive been very satisfied with them since. My Azaleas finally bloom like they never have and my Magnolia Tree is covered with buds ready to bloom! Joey has been servicing my account for a while now, and I couldnt be happier. He is patient with all my questions, shares his knowledge, and is very professional. I feel confident in recommending them to anyone.

I called Drake and they took care of me very courteously. They gave me alternatives to visit me and quote me. On the day of the visit, Jeremy arrived and very kindly explained all the details related to my problem with the grass. He gave me the quote and even gave me a % discount for being a retired military man. They are very professional and treat you like family. I dont change them for anything.

We have used Drake for around 15 years and are very pleased with their service. If we have an issue, we can call and they will take care of it in a timely matter.

I had a problem with Sedge weeds taking over my yard in Orlando and after patiently waiting for one of those major provider companies so solve the problem, I reached out to Drake. Within a year all of the Sedge was gone. Presently I have the best looking lawn on the street & have 2 neighbors looking to sign up with Drake once their current contracts are up. My story regarding ghost ants is similar: I went through 2 national companies and neither of them could solve a problem with Ghost Ants (the real tiny ones). Drake was able to address the problem within 6 weeks. Their customer service is consistently top notch and the technicians know the nuances of my yard when they get here; unlike the major companies who show up, blast your lawn with a treatment and drive off again.

Drake is amazing. Our lawn was yellow and full of weeds. Drake turned it around in a few months and it looks amazing now. Were very pleased with our service.

I like the detailed reports and the fact someone actually picks up a phone and calls you if you send an email with questions or concerns. Too new for the results as my lawn and scrubs are now under Drakes care. I also had almost all of my sprinkler heads replaced as part of a refresh. Update 4-2 -2024 continued great service. Yard is looking much better theses days as well as the other people in my neighborhood that use Drake.

Ive tried ALL of them and no one compares to the service I receive. All the companies Ive tried, have come to my home, sat in their truck then put the bill on my door. THEY WERE CAUGHT ON MY CAMERAS. My serviceman is Wilfredo, and hes very Proficient and Knowledgeable. If youre having ANY issues with your lawn, they treat it until its acceptable, but you must do your part as well. Theyre always available and do their best to treat those awful bugs that eat away our lawns. Ive Never been more serious and pleased about a lawn company. Brandon stopped by, took time to evaluate, listen and validate my concerns and had a plan to get back on track. I ll continue to update my rating as time goes on, but I m glad to see they are interested in keeping a customer and working thru the problems. Original post: We hired Drake about 14 months ago, we had just replaced most of our lawn with st Augustine. A few months after the new grass was installed, we started getting some weeds and sod webworms, we decided to turn it over to the professionals, or so we thought. Within a couple months Drake had the yard looking great again (first picture below). As time went on we started getting different techs, the last tech would miss entire sections of the lawn during their visit. I called several times, Roberto (a supervisor or manager) came out and said he d work with the new to us and them tech to get him better trained. I had to call again because the lawn was getting worse weekly. Roberto came out again, came up with an action plan and scheduled the tech to do a follow up treatment. The tech didn t show up for work that day so Roberto came out and treated the lawn again. I have nothing but praises for Roberto, but here s where it went wrong. The lawn was still getting worse and I was determined I wasn t paying for another service without seeing an improvement. That didn t happen so I canceled. As asked I sent a written request to cancel along with pictures. The next day I was contacted by Chris a manager and he wanted to come out and personally inspect the lawn. A few days later I get an email (no call or follow up) saying uncontrollable weeds, grass cut to short, over watering, etc. Basically an excuse to blame the homeowner instead of their tech. I couldn t be more displeased in how Chris handled this and represented Drake. No attempt was made to resolve or even address the lack of service from their tech, just pass the blame. Due to the recent hurricane, I had mowed the yard lower than normal one time just before Chris s visit to clean up all the leaves and twigs knocked loose during the storm. The irrigation was adjusted weeks prior too by Roberto and we had 12 of rain a week before his visit, the uncontrollable weeds are the reason I was calling because their lack of service was letting the lawn get worse and bald spots throughout. Drake basically destroyed our lawn. I m sure they re going to post a reply asking me to take down this post like they have with several others with unfavorable reviews. I ve waited weeks to post this review just to make sure it was the right thing to do. The first picture of the nice lawn is shortly after hiring Drake, the last three pictures are after 14 months of service..

After a week and a half I can already see the difference in my lawn, still have a ways to go but so far their service and communication has been excellent.

I have used a competing lawncare company for many years but I went looking for a new company late last summer due to quality issues. While Drake was not the lowest price I could find they had the best blend of cost, quality and performance of the 3 popular companies I looked at. I am very happy with their service and my lawn has never looked so good. They dont just spray whatever is in the tank. They have a multi-layered custom approach to each lawn. I would recommend Drake to my friends without any concerns.

Drake Lawn and Pest Control are the real deal!! They may not be the cheapest however they will get you the results you want. My grass was yellow and dead looking. It was lacking essential nutrients. Once Drake came and did my thorough assessment and I signed an agreement, they started treatment right away. Within 3 weeks I noticed tremendous results!! My grass is now vibrant, greener and has less weeds. In the end, saving money is great however AT WHAT EXPENSE. Meaning if you have to pay for services twice, did you really save? If having a nice lawn is important to you, give Drake a call today!!!

We were spending money with another company for over seven months. A total failure. We re-sod and got the grass going, but we couldnt see any progress in our yard. Our landscape company recommended that we try Drake. What a big change in over a month. Our grass is growing and becoming dense and beautiful. Issacs is our tech, and hes been a blessing. Every time he comes to treat the yard, he stops by, discusses with us what has been done, his observations and recommendations, and also follows with an email to be sure we have everything clear. The company is great so far; results are speaking for themselves, but the bonus is having somebody like Issacs, who means good business combined with knowledge and great customer service; we are very pleased with Drake and recommend it to everybody who wants to get great service and results.

I have this company for over a year. I re-sod my office and hire them. On multiple occasions I have address with Drake the appearence of the SOD and they always have an excuse for everything. I finally decided to terminate them as I am going to have to replace portions of my lawn and no one at Drake is taking responsibility for anything. I had services at my office and home and neither one is working well.

They aren t perfect but is anyone/thing/business? But Drake has consistently been on the ball with addressing any issues I ve had like why do I have bald spots or a lot of Dollar weed or could they do an repeat insect treatment ((Mud daubers). Great service when sprinklers needed to be adjusted or checked for leaks (there weren t any)! I ve recommended them to many neighbors and friends who have hired them and are happy with them.

Just had Miguel from Drake here to perform Subterranean and Drywood Termite control. Miguel was on time for the scheduled appointment , he was very polite, friendly and professional and took the time to answer my questions. In addition he performed my monthly pest control work as well. He took his time in addressing problem areas of my home. He also answered questions about the lawn contract we have with Drake and noted that there were some issues that they need to follow up on. Miguel is an asset to Drake. I just wish he serviced my area regularly.

Wow, it is clear that Drake teaches customer satisfaction at all of their levels. Weve only been using them for one week but are blown away so far. Nick was my sales rep who spent 2.5 hours at my house addressing every possible concern and question I had. Tasha in the office is incredibly polite and patient. Adrian is my tech who did the first treatment already and slowly walked me through the entire process and was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the process. Anthony just left today after spending 3 hours repairing many of my sprinkler heads and getting absolutely soaked while he took his time adjusting every single sprinkler head I own (including all of the ones he didnt replace!). He kept me informed through the entire process and coached me how to use them properly in the future. I am so happy I chose Drake and only regret not using them sooner!

I used a couple different big companies and Drake is usually pretty good. Their techniques keep my grass pretty green. They always rung the bell and tell me what they are going to do and if they see any issues they talk with me on how to resolve. They blow off my sidewalks and drive ways usually when done and I get a report w pictures when they leave.

Our new technician Kendall is outstanding. He communicates, responds promptly, leaves helpful notes and is getting our lawn back to where it needs to be. This is the fist lane service that we ve used that has elevated this level of service. I ll update my review in the next 90 days on resolution of some of the issues once resolved. I didn t give it 5 stars because some of the issues were not present before we signed on (not Kendall s fault), but hopefully they can get it back right!

WOW! In Florida I had three issues - wasps nests on my home, ants, and mosquitos. None of my solutions were working. Drake technicians knock down nests, sweep leaves off my entry & spray for all those bugs. Thats a lot of consistent work I didnt have the time to do. What a difference its making in my life!

I explained to David (Manager) that I have been a customer since 2020. My lawn has been going downhill since then. He stated that its because of my irrigation. I have received advice from Trugreen, Massey, Truly Nolen etc and they advised me that my lawn should not have gotten to this point. They stated that Drake shouldve been more hands on as they deal with my lawn on a every other month basis. My lawn slowly deteriorated while my other neighbors have lush green grass. I feel that I should not have to pay Drake a single dime more and they should have at least offered to improve the appearance of my grass by repairing/replacing certain parts of my lawn. I have spent thousands of dollars over the last three years and my grass looks horrible.

Very poor quality lawn service. The yard looked worse after Drake Lawn & Pest Control left. Also very poor customer service. They did not perform the services discussed and we had to hire another lawn company to clean up the damage from Drake Lawn. They also failed to effectively communicate and sent the last bill (when the damaged our property) to collections without notifying us.

There is a disconnect between sales and service. We had an incredible two-hour evaluation of our lawn and the problems that needed to be addressed by Joshua. He was incredibly knowledgeable and I was so excited to get the lawn in better shape. The service was paid for immediately that day. Then the irrigation work was scheduled for the following week on a Friday. Supposedly, the work was actually done the Tuesday before. I didn t receive a call, text or email that they would be doing the work early. I was home all day and no one knocked on the door or rang the bell. The only reason why I knew that something was done was because I went out to the mailbox and saw the dirt (photo included) scattered and I assumed that they did something with the irrigation. I had to email them and they informed me that the work was done that day. That s the only notice I received. It s so messy that I have no idea if the job is completed or if it was all done. They even left a plastic piece on the driveway (see photos). And I could have spoken with a worker since I was inside the house to hear what was done. When the salesman, Joshua, came out to initially evaluate, he brought me outside several times to discuss the work that needed to be done. Only because I complained, we do have a manager coming out in a few days to evaluate what work was done and explain it to me but it shouldn t be like this. It seems like some of the irrigation work was done and some wasn t but no one can confirm with me what was done today. I always keep reminders in my Calendar in my phone but they don t send reminders by email or text that a service person will be arriving on designated days. Horrible communication. They did send an email reminder and photo of the initial salesperson but for the two times that I think (because I m not even sure what s been done) a service person has been out, there s no notification. I ve dealt with other companies that send in excellent salespersons and then you get a less than ideal service experience. I didn t expect things to go like this with Drake but they have. It s very unfortunate because it started out great.

Have had their service on two of my properties. Paying them nearly $100 everytime and for some reason I still have spider webs on my exteriors and and wasp nest that they claim to remove. Not only that I have multiple ant piles all throughout my yard. That never get treated. Very poor service and wouldn t recommend these people or their poor employees to anybody

Dishonest about service from the beginning. I explained my situation in details and I was told it will be addressed. After paying and first treatment, I had to call to schedule the second treatment. It wasnt scheduled automatically. This company doesnt care about the result. They just want you to sign the agreement .They lie to get your money and they come up with bunch of excuses when you confront them with their failed service. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR LAWN WEED INFESTATION!

We used Drake for pest control inside the house. Cody was very thorough and excellent. They took care of the problem in 2 visits but followed up on a 3rd visit just to make sure. Everyone was very professional including the office staff. I would definitely recommend them for pest control.

Manager Chris horrible customer communication skills. Aggressive when u give a lower rating than he feels should be given. Argumentative and just overall horrible experience. We will be leaving and it could have been avoided. The manager is the sole reason we are leaving not even the price hike but him.

You can tell that he really knows a lot about his work, and hes great at breaking it down so that the customer understands as well. I also didn t feel like he was trying to sell me things that I didn t need. His write-up of a lawn issue also provided me what I needed to do a warranty claim with the builder! He s been really responsive when I had a few follow-up questions based on the visit as well. If the rest of the company is anything like Matt, you cant go wrong with Drake.

Anthony was wonderful! He came out to our house and walked the entire yard with me, listened to all of my concerns, provided some suggestions and education about the issues, then he worked for two hours mapping out our yard, inspecting the irrigation, types of grasses and weeds we have, and writing up a quote for us. Super informative, friendly and great to work with. He even expedited the mosquito team to come out the next day upon our request. We are very happy with hiring Drake for our lawn needs! *edit* two years later and we are still so pleased with all of our services through Drake. Every technician has been so helpful, professional and friendly! Cannot recommend enough.

I have been using Drake for a few years now in two homes. I have used their pest control and now we use their lawn care. Since we just started the lawn care service, I cannot leave a truthful review just yet, but I can say that the value was excellent in my opinion. Micah was a great estimator and Hezekiah was a great technician. He was friendly and took the time to answer my questions. Great technician! My experience with the pest service was great as well. My wife used Drake years ago for her pest service when she had black widows in her garage. Now, for us, we used their normal pest control and it sure worked. Our house was bug free and they also took care of a mite bloom we had one spring. I appreciated Felipe. He really tried hard to remove the mites and he succeeded. Really excellent. This time around, I expect to have the same pleasant experience with Drake that I had prior. Drake seems like a well run company with great technicians. Thanks Drake!

I had a highly disappointing experience with Drake Company for lawn and pest control services. Despite their promising sales pitch, the reality of their service is far from satisfactory. The sales representative painted a rosy picture, assuring a 100% replacement guarantee for the lawn. However, when faced with the unfortunate demise of my lawn, the manager Rebeto reneged on this promise, bluntly stating, You need to read the agreement. This glaring inconsistency between their marketing claims and actual practices is misleading and unprofessional. Not only did Drake Company fail to deliver on their commitment, but they also charged exorbitant fees for services that were inadequately performed. Rebetos dismissive and rude attitude only added to the frustration of dealing with this company. In summary, Drake Companys deceptive practices, coupled with their subpar services and overpriced offerings, make them a company to be cautious of. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise extreme care, thoroughly review agreements, and consider alternatives to avoid falling victim to their dishonest and unsatisfactory business practices.

I have one of the better looking lawns in the neighborhood. I give Drake credit for this. They are easy to contact and responsive. If you have a problem, they will fix it.

I met Jon, the sales rep., who was very thorough when explaining their different programs & agreed to follow up throughout the process. He also spent quite a bit of time looking over our property in order to give us the best proposal for our problem. The technician (Alain) was also very professional, explained everything he did & spent ample time checking for issues, etc.; he also agreed to come back in 2-weeks because of our ant issue. I ve also felt that you get what you pay for & when a company is this thorough & professional, I don t mind paying just a tad more because I know they ll stand behind their work! I would recommend these folks over Deans, Massey, Regal & all the others that offer a cookie-cutter treatment plan!!

Customer service is horrible. I waited more than 3 weeks for services to be completed. It was scheduled every week on Wednesday and no one showed up that day. Ive been waiting for them for 4 weeks now. This is definitely the wrong way to do business.

My tech is awesome. He always makes sure that I have nothing to worry about. Also the products Drake uses works. I never see any pests or bugs. Costumer service is also very friendly and listen to you to make sure you get what you re paying for.

Charged us for a month when they never showed up, called customer service to inquire about it and the associate was so rude, wasn t helpful at all saying that I lied about the overcharge. Never got a refund, hassle to cancel, STAY AWAY from this company at all costs, they have bad practices and just want to steal your money.

Weve never had St. Augustine grass before and Drakes technicians have helped us get rid of weeds and get our lawn into a healthy state. Their advice got us back in the good graces of our HOA.

This is a horrible company with terrible customer service! They talk the talk, but when it comes time to correct mistakes that they have made David, the Manager, will ask you to pay them to fix it. . I recommend you find another company that stands behind their work.

The Irrigation service leaves a lot to be desired. The tech was on site for only 5 min and I had a leak in the solenoid valve. And after testing the valve was stuck open and flooded the back yard. Horrible experience.

Pest control has been great since we switched to Drake. Lawn care is good too. A few problems over the year but return visits have corrected them.

They are amazing. We have the termite bond, the pest control, they did our irrigation system, they do the maintenance for the landscaping - fertilizer etc, they are all amazing and helpful. It isn t cheap but it s worth it, than other places. They send you a report every time they go to your house and they knock in your house to let you know what they are doing and what needs to be fixed if they find something. I am very satisfied with their work. We absolutely love Corey and Anthony, we don t talk with William much, but he is really nice and I met Kevin recently and he was super nice as well.

Drake provides a great service at a reasonable price. Whenever I question an issue with my yard, they send a tech out to review my complaint and re-treat.

They provided a competitive rate, and after the first treatment, I could see a big improvement in our lawn.

LT (and I apologize to the others - theres about 3-4 guys that come out from Drake) are awesome, kind, professional, and do wonderful work. When we first moved in, we had Masse and they let our yard die from chinch bugs; which Masse had misdiagnosed as draught damage. We had the rep from Drake come out and about 2 months later, our yard had recovered and is now even thriving. LT always explains whats going on and offers helpful tips for taking great care of our shrubs and lawn and I would highly recommend them for any of your lawn servicing needs.

I contacted the Manager Chuck recently, after noticing my lawn was looking really bad from several ill treatments from lawn mowing services. He was so gracious (considering I had canceled the services of Drake several months ago) and came out to inspect my lawn within a couple of days. Once he shares his diagnosis, another appointment was scheduled for a technician to come out to treat my lawn. Well, get technician showed up early this morning, and because I have surveillance cameras surrounding my home, I later watched the video clips of this tech walking every inch of my property and applying the prescribed treatments. I was thoroughly impressed because unlike other contractors who were caught on my surveillance cameras skimping on the service by only covering small spots on my lawn, the Drake technician was captured on cameras literally applying the treatments to almost every inch of my lawn! And he graciously waited until my pool maintenance person was through with her services (they each arrive around the same time), before getting started, so the lawn would be clear of walking traffic. When I tell I was impressed, I mean what a thoughtful technician! Thanks again Chuck for your understanding and for making this urgent request for services on my lawn a priority for your team!

Great service with a friendly staff!

I am cancelling. I have mosquitos the size of birds in the front & none in the back yard But I pay for the service for THE yards. I had to go buy additional mosquito traps & bait. They spend 3 to max 5 minutes charge 110 dollars for mosquito, flee, ants ( I have an ant mound outside my kitchen door & they wrote ...no ant mounds visible.) & my indoor cats have fleas! Supposed to come & check indoors too...they do nit make appointments & appear randomly, especially when I am not home. Guess what I found in my spice cabinet...a whole colony of baby roaches, eggs & adults. Yep I had to take care of that...another 88 dollars I pay but not taken care of. They are much better at expensive lawn care. Oh & they advised me I may have a critter in my backyard lake...a gator that they could not get a pic of...well take one of my pics of Barney my lake gator. They are good but not for me & not for what I have experienced. I will not use terminex either. Wish you well

Put atrazine and trimec on my lawn in 90 plus degree heat in the first week of September in Florida and then blamed it on my lawn cutter because my lawn is uneven. I have 15 years in the same business and know a burned lawn when I see one.
