Dr. Jack's Lawn Care in Orlando

Due for renewal since August. No one showed up. Called and emailed more than 10 times since then, no response... Not sure whats happening with them, but one thing for sure, very unreliable.

Craig is the best in the business. Always takes time to do things right and even provides valuable advice.

I ve been using this company for two years and I just start having a lot of issues with my yard I call the company and the secretary hang out the phone when I gave to her my information. I don t know why.

Don t waste your time with this company they do not answer the phone in the afternoon or weekends . They do not return phone calls. They are nasty and rude to you specially management by the name Dilly - They re all in cahoots in this very small company that the pest control manager is also the listing clerk that puts the appointments and if he s not there, you have to wait until he returns to make an appointment for SERVICES, this man s name is DILLY and this is the worst company you can work with -if you want to be treated like you owe them something then go ahead and sign up if not, prepare yourself to call the Better Business Bureau Just like I did

I called Dr. Jacks because my St Augustine grass was having some issues. Dr. Jacks sent Fernando to look at it. Fernando was very knowledgeable and professional. The following week Carlos came out to do the treatment and also was very friendly and did a thorough job. The grass came back very nice and they have done a great job keeping it looking great. I highly recommend Dr. Jacks lawn service.

Where did all those positive reviews come from? In this Hi Tech era it makes you wonder. I had the worst experience in over 20 years, they were never able to control my lawn weeds and now my lawn is almost completely gone to the point of having to re sod. What Jack has of a Doctor I have of a brain surgeon. Learn from the mistakes of others, you cant live long enough to make them all yourself

I started reading reviews on local pest control companies in May of 2018 because I had a really bad spider problem. The big, super fast scary kind! I was also starting to find roaches as well. I have a lake behind my house so I get tons of different creatures and lets be real, this is Florida, they are everywhere! Im happy to co-exist but do no want them IN my house! So after lots of homework I decided to go with Dr. Jacks and I couldnt be happier! I went from having almost 5 giant spiders in my home a week to having maybe 4 in the last year! And not one roach since the first day of service, awesome results! Plus all of the employees are helpful and friendly! I recently called in with questions about snakes and the owner got on the phone with very honest and helpful information. I definitely recommend Dr. Jacks to anyone looking for awesome service and competitive rates! Update: April 2022 If I could keep leaving positive reviews I would but google only allows one post, lol so heres an update instead! 4 years in with Dr. Jacks and still a very happy customer! I have a lake in my backyard.. in FLORIDA and have zero issues with bugs in my home! I was so pleased with service that I convinced my boss to hire Dr. Jacks because our pest control company could not figure out how to get rid of sugar ants, we had them for a year!! Infesting every office space.. Dr. Jacks came in and the issue was solved within a few days! They have been servicing my job for 2 years now- Not one issue since! He has been the same person coming to my home since day one and is never late, always friendly, patient with my yapping dog, and has no problem answering my bug questions! Our service provider, Craig, always lets us know when hes heading out and gives us a heads up as to any issues. Today, Craig went above and beyond his duties and alerted us to a significant water leak coming in from the main water line to our house. An issue that would have continued to cost us 100s if not 1000s of dollars. I am so grateful to Craig and Dr. Jacks for being so fantastic. A customer for like may have just been made. Been paying for weed control since 2019. Wound up with a backyard 1/2 full of weeds and they told me there was nothing they could about it because there were too many weeds. I had my lawn guy kill everything with roundup and re-sodded in 2021. A year and a half later, this is what my yard looks like:

I had a great experience on their service until I tried to cancel. One of the front desk girls I dealt with had the most condescending attitudes about me not calling in to cancel. The guy who came to service was amazing and the owner but moving fwd on all my properties and the neighborhood groups I m in I won t recommend. It does not cost money to be a kind person.

This place is a ripoff! Their products don t work. I had an issue with roaches and they come did the service but the problem still there. When I asked for a refund the customer service agent was rude then transferred me to her manager which refused to give me my money back! Go somewhere else don t waste your money!

Dr. Jacks is the best pest control company in the greater Orlando area. I say this because two years ago, I paid several Google 5-star rated pest control companies but nobody solved the rat problem for me. Dr. Jacks took a very different approach (Jay at the time) that worked right away, so I called them again this time when I found a hole in the fascia chewed up by rodents. Jim came out hours after I called, fixed the problem, thoroughly inspected the entire roof, and even gave me advice on lawn care. Im impressed not only by their innovative approaches that truly work, but also by the strong work ethics that run deep in this local family-owned business. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Jack s! We bought a new home and soon after moving in discovered we had a rat issue. Of course, I was panicked and willing to do anything to solve the issue. I called Truly Nolan and they used fear tactics to give us a quote of nearly $2,000! Thankfully, I called Jim and he came out right away to evaluate where they were likely entering the house, and gave us tips on how to manage in the meantime. He was able to completely get rid of the rodents in just a few days for a beyond reasonable price. He even checked in with me every few days to ensure there wasn t any more activity. Lawn looks amazing. I have used them for years. They are very responsive and will come out and have a look if youre not pleased with something. Get a lot of compliments for my yard. Price is very reasonable.

I called twice and did not get a return call as my new lawn of two months has sod web worms. They came out and put a sign in the yard stating they treated the lawn and shrubs but did not state if they treated the sod web worms. Also visible weeds which don t appear to be dying. Did they spray for theses? I would like to know specifically what what they treated.

I continue their services from the previous owner of my current vacation home. they claim that they show up, but the lawn got worse. we complained. Every time I contact them the wold send me their GPS inf. Showing that they were there. So I installed a camera and we found out that the guy never came out of the truck. He would park in front of the house for a few minutes and then leave. When I cancel they didnt even ask why I was canceling. They basically stole my money, they are pathetic dont go with this company. They are scam.

Heard some sounds in the attic that were definitely unwelcome rodents. We called and Jim came out right away climbing up on our roof to find where they were getting in. He installed a motion camera and a one way door which caught our rat trying to return several days. Jim came back out and sealed the chew hole and also took care of the openings in our garage door seal. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism, prompt response, and thorough job to keep our attic buttoned up tightly. Excellent service, caring professional, outstanding value. Nothing but great reviews for Dr. Jacks. Thank you Jim.

I have more weeds now. They did nothing but make my yard worse! Do not use this company lots of promises and then excuses when you expect them to perform. I hired you to remove/kill the weeds. You are our in my yard looking at the grass charging me for this service. Aren t you supposed to see weed problems and bring that to my attention? That s what I am paying you for isn t it ? Now my yard is over run with weeds more than when I started and I m supposed to let you know ? What am I paying you for exactly ? I did submit a concern your records are wrong. I emailed a concern to you on 9.21.21 with pictures.

We had something living in our roof and Dr. Jacks came out and solved the problem efficently. It turned out to be squirrels. They have a really cool way of identifying the animal and then getting them to leave humanely. We have no more scratching in the attic. I really loved how quickly they were able to solve the problem. I will definitely be using them for any pest issues in the future as well. Thank you Dr. Jacks!!

Family owned local business that is extremely courteous and does not over charge

Craig and the entire Dr. Jacks team have been working with me for several years. Very professional, they are always checking the property and giving me feedback. Sometimes it a broken sprinkler, or they will tell me if Im watering too much or too little, or make suggestions on replacing plants that might do better in the desired locations. Craig in particular is a superstar. Over 5 years Ive never had to point something out to him. Hes always proactively inspecting and looking over the property. We hired Dr Jacks right after we resodded our lawn and it has looked amazing now for years!

Jay came and got rid of our squirrels and rats who thought our home was also theirs. As a company, they don t hurt the rodents, but outsmart them with one way doors and cameras and T-shirts to stuff the holes. Jay was always respectful, great with communication, and persistent. When we still heard noises, jay looked all over our roof and realized previous pest control had not done a thorough job to seal the rodent entrance. Dr. Jacks has been servicing our lawn for 20+ years. This past week I called them out for a suspected rodent problem in the garage. The front desk put me through to Mr. Jim Reinhardt himself, who then patched me over to their critter control expert Jay, who then called me -- all in less than an hour! Jay came out that same afternoon, quickly determined that the issue was not rodents, but lizards and roaches, much to my relief. He then did an exterior inspection for entry points to ensure we had a proper barrier to entry. He was super professional, right on time (actually early), extremely friendly, very engaging and conversational. He took the time to explain to me how to identify the type of critter by their droppings. Was very interested in helping me to understand this so I can identify things myself first, next time. All of this, and no charge! I wanted to pay them something and he said, no, that is their policy for a first visit. I later emailed the owners to say Thank you!. This is what is known as excellent customer service. Not just talk but performance. Everyone in the office acted quickly and cheerfully to address my concerns. Wonderful! Dr. Jacks is the best. We will be a customer for life.

I ve been using Dr. Jacks since I bought my home 21 years ago. I do not see any bugs and if I did they come right back out. John is wonderful- he s like family and we trust him to come in with our garage code when we are not home. That said the 2-3 men prior were awesome as well. Their employees stay which says a lot about the company. We use the quarterly pest control always and also use the lawn service for weeds once or twice a year for maintenance. We also had fleas once and utilized that service as well. Zero complaints!!

have been wanting to call and report to management that the young man who has been doing my yard for the past 5 years has done the best job ever. My yard this winter, and going into spring, is in perfect condition. Traditionally, my yard normally deteriorates in Winter, but not this year. I stopped today and talked with your tech, I think named Eric, and asked him what new chemicals he was using, and he assured me that there no new products. He told me that he knows the conditions and what to expect in the yards he cares for, and has gotten the to know this yard, and now understands what to apply, and when to apply certain chemicals. Believe me, I am a very happy customer. I can not believe what he has been able to do, and I now realize that his treatments are carefully calculated based on his experience with this particular yard, and he has gotten it perfect. -- Bill Hider

A+ company! I had an issue with squirrels that had gone on for 5 weeks and Dr. Jack was the 5th company to come out to my house. They were the most honest, reliable and thorough of all. They resolved the issue extremely fast and were very kind, understanding and affordable. I will be calling them with any needs in the future. Highly recommend!

Larry came today to treat the spider invasion we ve been having for Several months. He said he sprayed and cleaned the spider webs and it was a lie. I came out to asked him to clean up the webs and sprayed but he didn t. I am canceling services with Dr. Jacks because they are not treating the spider pest I had been having for months. They charge for services never rendered because there is many insects around home. I will not recommend this company. Service is horrible.

Call to complain about his driver road raging in front of the post office in Winter Park then chasing me in a company truck. The owner say he cant believe it. So if your going to have s person with that much rage driving your truck you dont even deserve 1 star

Great service for pest control, lawn care and wildlife removal! All of the office staff and technicians are knowledgeable and they really care about their customers. Extra service calls are responded to promptly. And as a bonus, they are a local company and actually have an office line that is answered by a real person!!! We have used them for 3 years and are completely satisfied. We have also recommended them to family and friends.

I have lived in the same house since 2004. I hired Dr Jacks because they were doing a neighbors yard. I now have no grass at all on the front and side. They totally burned it out. My back yard lost almost 1/2 of new sod. It only took 2 or 3 months for this to happen. They refunded some money but that will only cover 1/3 of the cost to fix. They gave nothing but excuses.

Top notch customer service. I filled out their online request in regards to pest removal late at night and received a call from them first thing the following morning. Jim was over by the end of the day and provided a wealth of knowledge I would otherwise not have. No more pests in my roof! Is it the cheapest? Probably not. But if you want it done RIGHT these are the people to call.

I have used Dr. Jacks for both lawn care and Pest Care both inside and outside, for 2 years now. I have the best lawn in the neighborhood by far and in a live in a subdivision in Hunters Creek, where you are required to have perfect lawns, never had a problem with them and would recommend them to all.

About to fire these guys. Most of my lawn looks good, but the part that doesnt looks really bad. Ive had to remind them to come out. Theyve done my lawn for over a year so they own it - Ive got weeds 18 x 36 in area that will need to be sodded when my new company kills it.

Customer service is horrible. I used Dr. Jacks for the last 5 years. Over the last two years my lawn has deteriorated and many of my shrubs have died. I called them on many occasions and there was no change. Avoid them at all costs.
