TruGreen Lawn Care in Orlando

Ive been a Trugreen customer for 10 years. Trugreen rep, Edwin, arrived at my house Jan 20 , 2025 at 1pm. Sat in his truck for 10 minutes, never got out of the truck, I watched him every minute, sent me an invoice he performed the lawn service with a invoice . He ought to be FIRED. How many others did he screw today ? I want my charges today canceled. Trugreen hires some real slick reps.

I used service 6 months, my lawn was one side and front house replaced when I started service. Now my new lawn, backyard are with a lot of weeds. One part is dying. I reach out and they told me are sending an especialist, this guy say nothing new to me. I am canceling service today. I waste my money and now I gonna pay to fix it again.

I am going to start saying this is without a doubt the worse experience Ive ever had with any type of business. 5 Months ago, I signed up with them, we recently bought a home and the lawn needed care, I work in sales so of course when the sales person came and did his speech everything was happiness and they said are the best lawn company in the world. We believed all they said to us and we decided to go with them. After a few months of noticing the lawn was looking the same as when we started the contract with them, I decided to look at the cameras since I wasnt really seeing any kind of improvement, they said they applied seeds, and other things but are they really doing it? and you guys who are reading this review, are you really inspecting what they do to your lawn? The first thing I saw was a gentleman who came in, walked one time through my lawn with some kind of product around the corners... and then decided to not only NOT APPLY the product to the whole lawn, he just walked around the edges of my fence, one time through the middle and to even make it worse he decided to wave at the camera, then he proceeded to leave the property and also care less that he left wide open both my doors of my fence, and not to say he does that to every single home in my area that he goes to. After I saw this first initial video, I was upset, I called the office, it took them maybe a whole day for a supervisor to even contact us and said he was going to speak to the person who Did the job and tell him to come back the following day, after this I said well anybody can have a bad day, they will come out the next day and we move on with our lives. To my surprise, they never showed up the next day, they decided to come out on Tuesday the following week, whenever they wanted, never told me they were actually coming out so I could see what the hell the guy was going to do this time. I got their email saying someone came again and did the application to the lawn once again... so, I did the same thing as a week prior, I looked at the cameras... same person I guess he is in charge of my area, came in, opened the gate of the fence, walked through the edges of the fence, one time through the middle.. waved again and left through the other gate leaving both doors open.. ONCE AGAIN. If I would have known they were going to do the same bullshit job again a week after I had just complained about how bad of a job they did, and they know I have cameras and that I was going to look and they didnt even care about anything, tells you whoever the manager or owner of this company is can care less about their customers, their office girls are rude, and they I am 100% sure are not happy knowing the way they speak to their customers... After the second time they didnt do their job, Ive had enough, I called and two managers called days later to say they were sorry.. yeah that is all good, but who is going to returned my money after 5 months of seeing my lawn not get better. Walker The Manager came out today to my home, walked around it for a few minutes, said he is sorry and he said I will give you a refund on the last application.. well I mean that was a given there was nothing performed to the lawn, they shouldnt have charge me in the first place, and said they will give me two free services which who knows they will actually do, knowing their previous actions.. I now canceled the service... and will post a review every single day, until they call me, and make a customer happy and return the money they literally stole for the past 5 months.

My first appointment was scheduled for today , I called two days ago to schedule, download the app and bla bla , and the whole day I was waiting for it , and nobody showed up! The first visit is at least to cause a good impression for the customer , and you guys already messed up. Really don t recommend!

Just watched a tech arrive at my house at 9:59 left at 10:04. These tech are dishonest. They say they re knocking on doors when they don t, I have a doorbell camera and requested they speak to me before they start treatment . They treat 10% of your yard and speed off to the next client collecting your money for nothing. Please have one of your supervisors call me

The service itself is fine, but if you expect some customer service via chat, forget about it!!! I had to contact them twice, first time they closed the chat without asking me if I needed anything else (I needed) and in the second chat they left me hanging for 30 minutes until I just decided to leave it. Scam Alert!! Be very careful with this company! They will promise you a complete pre-paid lawn care fertilization service plan based upon calculated square footage and then only treat a small portion of your actual lawn during scheduled visits, They will tell you they used 4.42lbs of fertilizer when CCTV footage only shows the technician actually using a broadcast spreader for a total of 43 seconds, how can a spreader spread that much fertilizer in only 43 seconds! They will then even have the nerve to give you a sales call stating your lawn is nutrient deficient!!! And try to sell you additional service when you are not even performing prepaid services properly!! Complete scam in my opinion!! Stay away or expect to be ripped off!!!

I hired true green lawn maintenance company 2 days ago for my new sod. They were here within 2 days and started treatment. So far I m very happy with them.

Tru Green take care of my lawn for more than 20 years and my lawn is one of the best in my neighborhood according with my neighbor. When I call the company for something they always take care of the problem right away.

Young man, very professional, came to the door . I watched what he was doing, and he explain to me what he was going to do he was gonna spray around the bushes foliage. I hope the second treatment works because the first treatment i still had tons of mosquitoes in the backyard and front of house. If I see or get bit i will be calling your office. If chemicals killed them mosquitoes then the quality I hope

Our yard is almost completely weed-free and is healthier, greener, and more lush than ever. Before, weeds were overtaking our yard so we are very happy with the results and our service. I am very disappointed with Trugreen here in Florida. Had them up north and they did an excellent job. Here it has been a ripoff! My lawn looks worse than when they started! They have even missed me months and when I called they tried to double book the next month! That doesn t work for lawns .and I paid additional for red ant treatment and that didn t take either what a waste of money.. I do not recommend this service. And trying to get through to a supervisor is impossible.

I had aeration service today by Tru Green... Daniel, the technician was excellent! Great knowledgeable service, personable and thorough. The machine he brought out was not working. He explained the situation and was gone and back in less than 20 minutes with a new machine, ready to go. Thanks for the great service Daniel!

I have had truegreen for a year treating my lawn that was new sod. Now this is what my new sod looks like.

I literally got robbed from this company, almost 1k for a year of service and they literally did anything to my land, causing a completely messed, and still had the balls of keep calling me, I will put a claim for them even on the better business bureau, because the should close this place to protect people to get robb

Update: the aeration was completed and I was reached out to by trugreen to resolve the issue. I appreciate you guys reacting quickly on the issue. My lawn was to be aerated on Friday March 24th. Someone came out to do the service, did a small section of my yard on the side of the driveway and left. I can see it on my ring cameras they did not do the front yard and did not even enter my backyard. They went ahead and charged my account anyways and said service was completed. I called Friday afternoon and it was rescheduled for today, March 28th. I called this morning to make sure it was scheduled because I got no texts like I usually do for service. The first rep said it wasn t scheduled and added it to the schedule for today. I called at 2:30 and was told if no one is there by 3:10 to call again. I call at 3:30, no one has been here. They tell me call at 4:30. I call at 4:30 and then I am told there must ve been a mechanical issue. How come ALL DAY alllll those phone calls no one said there was a delay. So now I am rescheduled again for this Friday. You are wasting too much of my time and if no one comes Friday I will be canceling services.

A Mgr was supposed to come to my home and discuss my yard. Have yet to see that Mgr. Not surprised bc this is how they operate...half azz

Quick service and explained everything that was being done.

Terrible quality. My lawn was green and healthy whole winter until I sign with Truegreen. The very first service and my grass almost died. Now my neighbors who has no grass services at all has better grass then my. I cant believe. If you want green and healthy grass - dont use Truegreen!

Orlando did a good job, today is the first day of the service package that I signed for so I will adjust my comment by a couple months based on the results.

I can see an improvement already.

Need to treat earlier for crabgrass and chinch bugs and maybe more frequently. Need to treat all the way up to borders and fence, I dont want weeds growing 2 ft out from them like a weed border that I have to pick by hand. Slow down and do the job right! It isnt all about the $$$

They killed our lawn after we canceled the contract. Look the pictures the lawns before and then few days after we canceled. Horrible company and not professional service. This have to be ilegal.

Ive been receiving anywhere from five to six calls a day after asking for a quote. I have asked to not be contacted anymore as I went with a different company but I am still getting multiple calls and emails a day. This has now gone on for over a week. Normally, I wouldnt complain as I am the one who reached out after all; but this has gotten ridiculous. I picked up today to state, again, that I was not interested and the sales person was argumentative, and tried to guilt trip me into listening to their specific pitch. Understand that this is not a review of their lawn service, for all I know they could be the best in the world, sadly however the way they go about their customer service or at least sales was so bad that I will not be using them any time soon.

They dont give an approximate time of arrival, or the end amount ti pay. Not clear on what your getting and how. They tell you the information and at the end it all changes of things you didnt agree with.

The side of our home on the front is not being treated. This side was included in our treatment plan. Unfortunately we are not home when services our being provided and believe they are not treating this side. The front center looks really nice and treated ..Please Help

Still have weeds all around the lawn at and around edges of the lawn. Ragweed 6 to 8 inches high seeding off, that will grow more weeds. Calling TruGreen will only get you more calls and calls a center that will do nothing but get you more calls that we will send a technician out to talk to you and will take care of the problem. If they were taking care of it, Id would not be writing this review . Way to expensive for what you get. Months later, I still have to call to get them to treat for weeds again!

Was a customer for 6 years. During that period several bushes died so we re-landscaped the front and now bushes/plants dying again. Caught tech one day and shared problem and he basically blew me off. Also lawn looks terrible with brown patches everywhere and will have to completely resod both sides of house and 1/3 of front yard. Issue with TG 1) used the on lawn in Chicagoland and Denver with no problem but techs knowledge here of how to evaluate and take care of lawn is poor 2) had 2 different companies provide evaluations and quotes and independently; the evaluations were the same..TG can see the same things if they looked or were competent in evaluation 3) they are a lot less expensive but most times you get what you pay for and we are moving on should ve done years ago. Caveat: you might get lucky and get knowledgeable and responsible techs but most likely not (was getting notices that everything looked good after treatments when it was clear they were not)

Trugreen provides an average service for a reasonable price. Grass and weeds coexist for a green yard.

They try to sneak in when your not home and leave asap . I just cancelled my service. Couldnt get anyone out to answer my question

Anthony went above and beyond while servicing my lawn. He explained me couple on-going issues with bugs, provided remedies on the spot and gave me follow-up recommendations! He is definitely a Tru-Green expert. I highly recommend his service and commends his knowledge and top customer service skills!

I had someone from this company knock on my door at 5:30PM today to offer their services. I told their sales person that I wasnt interested and pointed to my two no soliciting signs on my door and ring doorbell. He claimed he wasnt soliciting because he had active contracts with my neighbors. I asked him to take back the flyer that he hung on my door, he refused and told me to just throw it out. I would not do business with a company that refuses to acknowledge that I wasnt interested. I also dont appreciate being disturbed around dinner time.

do yourself a big favor and keep away from this company, David talked to me 3 month a go and tolled me everything will be green again within 3 to 6 weeks, and after 3 month ZERO results, im negative more than $320 and no results, misleading

My patio was not improving with the treatments that Truegreen had given it for almost six months and today I was determined to cancel my contract, but this Angel named Adam came, who explained many things to me about how to help improve my patio with weed, he recommended me the best times to turn on the irrigation system among other things. For me it was important to know that for Adam I was not just another client, but that I was a person that he wanted to help. Thanks again Adam for the time you took.

Our lawn is the best looking in the neighborhood. I wish they still provided irrigation system maintenance.

We paid in advance for a one year contract with Tru Green. After one year, our lawn actually looks worse than when they started. We canceled their service after our lawn was burned by over spraying with one treatment left to go. I had a notification that Tru Green showed up and applied their last service but I went outside when the notification came in - no one was there, no one showed up and there was not a sign on the lawn saying they had been there. If you re looking for a weed and fertilizer service, my opinion is to stay far away from Tru Green unless you want your property to look Truley Brown.

Courtesy Calls advising that a lawn tech is scheduled is appreciated. Interaction with techs is always a pleasant experience. Techs are courteous and listen to my concerns.

My lawn was looking bad so I called truegreen in hope of getting some help. What happened next has been headaches and disappointments. They knocked out a bunch of my sprinkler heads when they aerated the lawn. I called and received assurances they would pay for the damage. Weeks passed and nothing but the run around with broken promises. I wish they would just flat out say we won t pay for it rather than say as they did check in a few days we will pay you for that . It s been a slap in the face honestly. Very disappointed and won t be looking for their services ever again and you should be warned !

Worse service ever had only 2 brown spots 4 months later I had a whole side that is brown and no sod. Tech doesnt even show up and said Gates was closed when it wasnt. No one called me closed my service with them.

2 year old zoysia has been taken over by weeds. Guy keeps on calling me about adding shrub care to my service. Can t even maintain my grass. Association is on my case about it. I m done.

Very disappointed with trugreen, as a new customer is hasnt not been a good experience, the sales rep told me about the one time fee of the $29.48 what he didnt explain to me is that there was an additional charge on top of $29.48. So Im very upset about, also on top of that the didnt work for 2 days after account was setup I had to call multiple times to get this organized, and thinking that I was going to add other property NO WAY I cant even get a return phone call very poor service and communication....

Team always does a detailed job. On 5/19, they knocked my door during routine landscaping to inform us that a snake laid 30 eggs and they removed the shells by hand for us. The eggs were laid in the garden by the deck and they are likely living there. They didn t have to risk their hands to remove the shells. Above and beyond!

It is an irresponsible company. They planted my grass, they had maintenance and it is being damaged and they are not responding. Nor address their I irresponsibility regarding our lawn. Customer service people are rude and inattentive as well as liars. They are scammers because they try to charge you for services that they do not provide. I dont recommend it to anyone

I tried TruGreen #5065 for one year. I highly recommend going with someone else! I Prepaid at a reduced rate for a year with an agreement not to continue. They continued on the next year at full price. I tried to get them to stop, the first 3 times they said the system was down and I would have to call back. Then finally got someone to cancel on the 4th try after an hour on the phone. This is worse than the old cable! The lawn service was not good. I had to call them out many times between applications. They also would not get close enough to the house. Now they are trying to collect on the unauthorized application. I tried talking to them, and got no where. I am not considering taking action beyond this post.

Watched the tech get out of his truck, put a sign in my Uncles yard then get back in his truck and leave. This was supposed to be his first service. The man didnt even come knock on the door. No cars home since my girlfriend and I share a car. He thought he got a free one for the day. Route manager got the tech on the phone and he lied to my uncle, he didnt know I was home. What a low life. Canceled immediately. Trash company. Im guessing a franchise.

This guy Scott called me from the company, he was offering service every 6 weeks for much higher price than competitors and then while we were discussing the details of the job He just hung up with me. I wouldn t recommend this company, find a local deal better.

Did not see any benefits and decided not to renew their services, little that I know that the services are renew automatically , no text messages no letters no phone calls and 2 days ago I got a letter from a collection company due to my balance!!! they have my only number has disconnected, no true, and I have no email no text from them! this morning a very professional lady Kelly Taylor ,assisted me on the phone and explained how they operated. my bill was pay by me as always and my services were disconnected OF COURSE!! so if you are a costumer of them or are thinking about it BE CAREFUL...

Extremely annoying door to door sales rep, despite me saying no thank you four times he kept insisting until I had to close the door on him. Respect manners if you want anyone to take your company seriously.

Trugreen is doing the lawn treatment in my property since 2017 and they scheduled a service yesterday (7/14). Today I received an email notification about service completion and they charged my credit card for the service. I didnt see any Trugreen sign/flag or received any service receipt this time (Usually they does all the time). I checked my security camera and noticed a Trugreen service truck came and stopped in-front of my house at 9.24 AM and left in few seconds with out doing any service. On my Trugreen online account, I saw a service receipt saying the service performed at 9.25 AM.

I have used TruGreen for a couple years now. They use to knock on my door and inform me they re about to spray, which I appreciated at first because I have dogs. However, the past few times they ve come out. They haven t. TWICE NOW, my gate has been left wide open and my dogs have escaped. It gets extremely hot here and heat exhaustion is no joke for dogs. It can kill them. I am so disappointed. I spoke to a representative and they wouldn t allow me to talk to the supervisor. This is a serious issue. What if they were kids? All it takes is one moment for something to go wrong. I do not recommend this company.

I m not one to leave reviews, but if this review saves at least one person some money from this total scam of a company, I ll feel good about it. We used a small family owned company for 1 year with no problems at all and yard looked amazing. Unfortunately, they were bought out by TruGreen. Within the first month of having TruGreen, our nice green yard was turning yellow/brown, covered with fungus, ant hills popping up all over, and weeds we ve never even seen before. I should ve cancelled then, but gave them one more month/service. The TruGreen app shows you what time they re set to arrive and on the next service they arrived at my house at 12:06pm. My wife and I work from home and have cameras. The truck sat at the edge of the driveway and the tech never even got out. 12:07pm I get my statement with money owed and the list of services that had been completed . He didn t even bother to put the flags in the yard to make it look like the work was done. I called and the customer service reps I spoke to seemed surprised and said they ll directly contact the tech and he will reach out. He never did. They setup a re-service and came back at a later date. Within days my yard was looking even worse and I called to cancel (had to call back 3 times before finally getting service cancelled and receiving a confirmation number). This company is a complete scam. I ve seen so many similar reviews and heard of similar experiences from others. I ve made sure that family and friends have cancelled and don t consider using this company, and I m hoping others reading this won t get scammed either. DON T USE TRUGREEN!

I used Tru Green in New York and had the best non-sodded lawn on the block. So, when we moved to Florida I hired Tru Green expecting similar results. BIG MISTAKE. I now have the worst looking lawn on the block. Here are my issues: 1. I required a printout of their work summary for each application ( so I know what they did or were supposed to do) if I received a summary 50% of the time it was alot. 2. The mystery service. My wife was working from home. Her office faces my front yard. She did not see them show up. I did not get my summary printout and they did not even put their Tru Green stake on my lawn. I considered this a no show. They charged me anyway. 3. A supervisor was supposed to come and evaluate my lawn. I tracked his way to my house online. When it showed he arrived I opened my door.... nobody was there.. 2 minutes later I received a text stating my service was complete. Another no show.... My lawn looked great when I first moved in. Here is what it looks like now. A few pictures are worth a thousand words.

Despite having this service for nearly two years, my lawn is frequently full of brown patches and weeds. The only time my lawn ever looks good is when I call and complain, then they come and treat it properly - then it looks absolutely beautiful for a few months. The technicians should be able to see that their current treatment plan is NOT working and adjust. It is tiresome having to constantly go back and forth with customer service and the service managers to get them to properly complete the basic service that they were hired for.

I can not describe better than, the worse service and the big scam that I had the displeasure to hire. My bad because I never read here before. I can tell they are good in one thing, that is sell and promise things that they will never do! To start explaining, big scam because I called to ask about services and prices so: I talked with Megan over the phone, she promised 10 lawn services + 4 pest control + 6 trees and scrubs services in a year for $ 947.39 paid in one time and I asked SEVERAL times what is the price if I pay monthly and ask for a SMS or E-mail with all the quote. She told that she will send the guy for the first application for free but she need my credit cart to send this test, so I gave the card. After this she accidentally charge my card in full when she was trying to check the prices to pay monthly, so this is the beginning, she said sorry and that she can refund but to try this test and if I dont like they will refund. Ok, trying to dont be a bad person I accept, they came the following week, 3 days before the day that Im writing this. Now we can start explain why the worse service, I have cameras all over the house so I checked that the guy took less than 5 minutes to spray, did partial spray in the back and forgot the other side of my house. So I called the supervisor, and ask for a cancelation in total. Today, I looked at my credit card and they refund me charging $ 90.00 for the visit of 5 minutes for a terrible job, terrible because I remove all the weed yesterday, in the area that he did the job in less than 2 minutes, by hand that the water that they applied just help the weed grow faster. Im writing this because I hang out the phone with them again explain what happened and they said that they will refund half of the service, because they did half of my house. This is unbelievable, as a service provider that I am, I cant understand how such a company is still in the market, they really have a very good marketing!

Like every relationship, honeymoon is great, after that the respect fades... had multiple times where I complained that the technician was not visiting my backyard yet I got charged full service. I even have security cameras with motion detection on the backyard that never fired, showing no evidence of their technician coming to the back. After I discontinued the service because of this, they kept insisting I still owed them money. They should grateful for the amount of half service payed as full instead. Its a shame because they were really good at the beginning and I would have stayed with them if it had not for these.

Grass has been nice and green. To be honest We had the best lawn on our street. Immediately after the last visit, our grass turned completely brown and is now dead. I have tried to water it but it hasnt come back. Looks like the tech didnt know what he was doing. I called to let them know but was only sold more services. I will cancel and go with another company. Do not go for Tru green. They are too big for their own good.

We have been with Trugreen for many years and the neighbors grass who did not have service always looked better! We canceled service and they sent us to collections! Whenever I call to speak to someone they just hang up without saying anything! I just wanted to resolve the issue and pay what is owed! I do not recommend their service!

Cant really give a solid/full review until my 10 aplication on my lawn is completed. Hence, there communication is really bad pertains to schedule and time. As for the first service the tech forget to add the bugs and insect applications to my lawn. If I hadnt checked my camera and review the footage then I wouldnt know the Job was incomplete. If it was not based on experience with lawn companies I wouldnt have known what to keep an eye out for. However, I had to call TrueGreen and let them know that this was not done and theyve acknowledged it and will address the issue. So far thats all I have for now, until then.

I can t get true green on the phone. I held 45 min then the next day requested a call back and no one called. I have tried three days now. Terrible service...I need to dispute a bill at another property of ours that s paid and they say it s still owed but we get account past due bills. I am DONE with them

Worst in the business. Killed my grass twice in one year. Took months worth of plugs to repair. Left my gate open 3 times and my dog got out every time. Huge headache . Customer service is horrible. I would rather have an ugly lawn than ever use this company again. Look elsewhere or you will be sorry.

In 18 months, Trugreen has completely DESTROYED our once, pristine yard! We had gorgeous, perfect, St. Augustine grass, with the occasional dolla weed that came and went. Once Trugreen came in, they steadily killed out good grass, created an ENORMOUS monstrosity of all kinds of weeds (that look like trees and bushes), bare patches, yellow grass, and allowed all kinds of grass to infiltrate, choke out and take over our St. Augustine (which they say they cant kill off). The area service manager has begged us for over 6 months to give him a chance to personally fix our yard. It has gotten progressively worse. It is so bad we now have no choice and have to remove several sections and need to re-sod it now. We have essentially PAID Trugreen to ruin our grass and now we have to pay 5x the cost to try and fix it ourselves. We discussed on numerous occasions with the service manager, that we want them to only send experienced, knowledgeable technicians to our yard, and that he needs to PERSONALLY first speak with them to go over our specific issues (they all work directly under him). He assured me this would happen. Time and time again, they have sent different, brand new techs, with no knowledge of grass or how to treat weeds or our yard. Completely unacceptable. All they do is the same generic treatment every month (spray for generic weeds, apply fertilizer), which obviously ISNT working. They DO NOT do anything specific for your yard. It is a complete rip off and they will always blame every issue with your yard that they have created or failed to prevent on everything from: your neighbors, to watering times, to living on a lake, to the lawn mower height (all of which we addressed the first time they came out), you name it, so they dont have to take responsibility! SAVE YOUR MONEY and do it yourself or find a more responsible, educated, trustworthy company that actually knows how to treat lawns. This company is a complete joke! We used to have one of the nicest lawns in the neighborhood. Now ours is one of the worst...its an embarrassment and a joke. How can this company in good conscience not take any responsibility for this and keep charging us???

I have used other weed control companies and never really got exceptional results. Finally, my husband and I decided to try Tru-Green. From the very first phone call, I received courteous, friendly assistance. They were truly interested in our needs and what we expected in the way of results. We were close to losing our lawn due to so many weeds! We understood that it was going to take time, but within six months we could notice a difference. Service is always thorough and the techs arrive on the day scheduled. You don t have to babysit this company. They know what they are doing!!!!!!!

I have had nothing but problems with Tru-Green. I have been trying to reach someone for 2 days now to cancel my service. Cannot reach anyone on the phone. I was told 2 to 3 hours waiting time. They now cannot control weeds but can kill flowers. I am sure this company is dying out faster than the weeds.

Truegreen has given me the most horrible customer I have ever experienced in my life. The call center does not communicate with the reps that they send out to do the work orders. I have had people show up to my house back to back when services weren t even needed. I have been asking for a manager to get in contact with me for weeks now and still no response. They have changed scheduled services in the app the provide from free service to a charged service with no notice. The hold times are 1-2 hours, I have asked to stop he mosquito service plan before it began and received an uncomfortable amount of calls back to back asking me WHY? Got this plan to be over $1000 I thought they would treat their customers like more of a priority. I am extremely disappointed, dissatisfied and angry! Now that I want to cancel everything because no one has followed directions or listens I still cannot get in touch with anyone. True green is horrible!!!

Inexperienced lawn spray techs killed my grass which took months to repair. They left my back gate open multiple times and my dog got loose. Customer service is extremely frustrating and after my contract was up they kept on charging my account. Horrible experience! Beware!

Need improvement

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY. TRUGREEN IS A JOKE. I HAVE BEEN ON PHONE CONTINUING FOR 48 MINUTES COUNTING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE REGARDING MY LAWN TREATMENT DONE YESTERDAY AND IT WAS DONE CARELESSLY BY THE TRUGREEN PERSON. ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY TO ADDRESS ISSUES. THEY GREAT AT CHARGING YOU MONEY FOR ENTIRE YEAR SERVICE AND WHEN ITS YOUR TIME TO CALL THEM REGARDING SERVICE ITS LIKE IMPOSSIBLE. I HOPE MANAGEMENT READS THIS AND SEES HOW THE OPERATION IS BEING CONDUCTED . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT CREDITED COMPANY.

Ok but expensive

Christina is the area manager for Sanford who called me. She didn t let me get off the phone when she called to sell me their package that was hundreds of dollars. Afterwards, she would not respond by email or anything. The service was decent the first round so we ll see how the next ones go if they schedule it themselves. I wouldn t know because I can t get an email to answer any of my questions. I wouldn t buy their packages anymore. Wish I can get a refund because it s not worth it. They also replied to this and told me to email them. They didn t respond to that either so it s completely empty words they tell!

This company used to be good. Now they are horrible! My grass was perfect when I switched to them and now after a few months my entire law is dying, Ive got patches dead, weeds and grass is browning. I called several times to get a manager out and no one would call me back or come out. Worst service I have ever experienced. If you love your lawn and dont want it destroyed, I would strongly recommend staying far far away from TrueGreen.

So confused, been paying for this service for months and my lawn still managed to get yellow.

I have been using Trugreen to treat my grass for years and apparently they think I only want my front yard to look good because my backyard is nothing but weeds. I have called and had a manager come and look at how bad it is and said he would follow-up in 2 weeks but he never did. I called again to have the tech come back to spray and last week all the tech did was fertilize the front yard and left within 5 minutes and never went to the back yard to spray for weeds. Im paying a lot of money for Trugreen to do nothing but grow weeds apparently.

These guys are very unprofessional, I have lawn service with them, Their quality is very bad, the lawn doesnt improve. All they are after is to nickel and dime you, if you call them for anything they want to up-sell you. Yet their service is very bad. They signed me up for a Tree and shrub service without telling me, They said they will have someone come and look at the shrubs and then they charged my credit card without my consent.

I hired TruGreen in February 2021 to begin getting my lawn in shape for the summer. I had previously hired a different lawn company the year before, and they failed miserably. Thus, my hopes were placed on TruGreen in getting my lawn lush and green. My lawn was in fair condition before TruGreen started service, but I was quite hopeful that they could get it under control. My neighbor uses their services, and her lawn looks good. Ive given them 8 months to work their magic, but from my photos, you can see that was not the case. Ive spent a total of $951.10, wound up getting a webworm infestation that created all of these lovely bare, brown patches on the front and back yards. Needless to say, Ive since fired TruGreen. So, buyer beware! You may be better off doing your own lawn care yourself instead of spending your hard-earned money on a service that will fail you.

After reviewing a few posts here I see that I ve been scammed by this company. I get a text at 9am saying my service guy was coming up. I was out front with my dog and daughter so I saw the actual van pull up. They couldn t park in front of my lawn because their were neighbors cars along the curb. There was one area of my yard they would not be able to access. Before I could get 3 houses down I see one guy walking up to my front door, assuming he s going to ring the doorbell. No it s my printed receipt at 9:03am. They did not spray my yard, I don t think they realized I was the homeowner. It s no surprise my grass had not been doing any better. That s not what I was promised when I signed up for this trucomplete lawn service. Thanks a lot Richard Herman and TruGreen. You ve made a real nonbeliever out of me.
