Worst lawn company out there. I have never seen my lawn get a lot worse with weeds growing out of control after I started with them. I stopped paying them but they went after me for contractual agreement for payment even though they were completely useless so I just paid and canceled the service immediately. ***I also had sod installed by them, and just like other reviews, they installed sod that was yellow and dying to the extent they had to come out twice to put "special treatment" and I had to water them every night for 2 months straight to get them to survive and green up. Their excuse was that my sprinklers were not watering enough even tho i followed their exact instructions. I have pictures showing the sod the day they were installed in addition to that there was areas with missing sod pieces they did not fill for some reason, not sure if they ran out but till today they have not filled the missing pieces even though they happily took full payment. Do not even bother hiring them! They do not care about their customers as they're a big company. You will just be an account number with a card on file.
General Manager was a great help from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company for anyone wanting reliable service. Mr Powell is a very hard worker and it very unlikely to see a General Manager out in the field and in the trenches working as much as he does. He is a good worker and I hope Corporate recognizes his efforts, hard work and dedication to what he does.
Disappointed! Massey has not killed the weeds in my lawn. At the initial application the technician told me he did not have the chemical he needed on his truck to kill one of the weeds in my lawn. Massey has treated my lawn for 7 MONTHS! Despite numerous promises and several applications, I still have weeds in my lawn. They have never failed to bill me & I’m paid in full. Where is the Massey Guarantee? Don’t believe it!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR SOD INSTALLATION!! We chose this company to install our sod because they said they would guarantee the sod if we signed up for their monthly lawn maintenance program. Within the first two weeks 75% of the sod began to die and we called in and told them. They told me that they needed to apply some super type of fertilizer or something but then they didn't come out to apply it for over a month. At that point 75% of the sod was completely dead and no fertilizer is going to bring it back from the dead. Months and months of phone calls demanding that the sod be replaced was only met with them telling me that the supplier wouldn't work with them. Well I didn't hire their supplier, I hired them. It has been a full 6 months since the sod was installed and the only thing that has happened besides 1000 excuses, is someone did come out to replace some sod but they only had like a quarter of a pallet and we needed at least two if not three pallets. I finally just said screw it and just cancelled the services. Hell, the yard is full of weeds anyway. TERRIBLE COMPANY
Jeff Marmie came out to get our lawn services restored, he is a great ambassador for Massey and I really appreciated the time and thought he put in to getting things on the right track. Looking forward to great things! Thanks.

I keep getting charged for extras, when the yard they promised me it s not even close to what I paid for. If my yard looked like they promised me I would be glad to pay for other services. This has been a terrible experience. Not happy!

A week ago someone hacked my account to comment 5 stars about this company. It s invalid and false comment! I live 300 miles away this location and never used its service!!! Very very very upset!!!

Fixed the stuck valve (25+ years old). It was almost impossible to find the valve. But Juan was able to find it.

Luis was patiently thorough in answering my questions and resolving the irrigation issues; took his time to repair and augment the equipment as needed, double checking the final results.
Really disappointed. Paid for an irrigation fix and a service, no one contacted me about when they would come to fix the irrigation. I had to CONSTANTLY call them to see when they were coming out, they finally came out and didn t have the right parts. They said they d come back the next day and of course NEVER DID. Not even a phone call. They still haven t fixed what I already paid for and haven t heard from them. So sad and disappointed. Do not recommend.
Massey lawn experts are the BEST! I ve been using Massey pest and termite service for years. Lately noticed problem areas in my yard so called Massey s lawn office for help. They came to my property, diagnosed the problem and devised a plan to eliminate the problem. Thanks Massey!

Excellent office staff
I request for a lawn inspection from Massey due to lawn being overrun by weeds. I have Bahai in my front yard and I have Saint Augustine in my backyard. I needed a company that could handle both. I spoke with Jeff Marmie who did an inspection, advised what could be done to improve the lawn and to get rid of the weeds. I was impress with his knowledge and the plan. The best part there was no pressure for me to accept the service and Jeff was very pleasant and personable and I was pleased with what I was told. I will update further once my lawn has been treated. I will wait 3-6 months to update to do so.
Technicians are great. Office staff and billing dont follow any instructions. Gave them credit card information and told them exactly which card to charge for services and still charged the wrong card. Really wish the cared enough to listen to customer. Hopefully they dont charge me twice.
I have had both lawn and irrigation service agreements with Massey for several years. I recently had an irrigation system malfunction that required a service call. Within two days the problem was diagnosed and necessary repairs made. Excellent response time and punctual service provided. There are plenty of service providers for both lawn and irrigation, but my service will remain with Massey.

I have used Masseys for over a year and a half. Sadly, I was not given full information by Jeff once I signed up for my services. Jeff did not provide all necessary information to provide proper care to my lawn, and as this was my first experience with such a company and I was not sure what type of questions to ask. During my time with this company, I have called this company over 20 times and this is not an over estimate. I had to call for roughly 9 out of my 18 services to ensure a technician would be able to perform the services that I paid for. On top of this when I first signed up for the services, Jeff the sales rep placed a bogus email down so all my personal information and bills were originally being sent to someone random for a year, talk about your personal information being leaked.. It was not until I called the office and they asked if I received any bills or corporate promotions via email. After having this resolved to the proper email, and baby sitting the company to ensure my services were being done I have had enough. I requested they call prior to services to ensure I am able to unlock my back fence, as I keep it secure all the time. I felt this was a normal request, and only received 2 phone calls to state they were doing my services. Additionally, they would state they completed services, but I work from home and have cameras and never once saw someone come to perform such services. My personal experience sadly goes much further than this and is why I am here to right this review, and for the sake of both our time I will leave it here. If you want someone to care about your home/landscaping as much as you invest in it, then look for another company to perform your services.

After calling Massey Services Monday, Aaron came out the first thing Tuesday morning to treat weed problems. Polite. Professional. Punctual. Explained what he was doing & what to expect. What signs to look for when treatment is working. What might interfere with the treatment. Answered all of my questions. Learn something new every time. Aaron & Massey Services have been tremendous assets for years. They handle our lawn care, weed control, termite monitoring, pest control, irrigation, plus tree & shrub care. When my wife & I see a problem, Massey representatives generally visit within 24-48 hours. Totally reliable & indispensable.

Harold Lopez is our service rep and is always very informative when we ask questions. A big smile and excellence taking care with fertilizer for our lawn and shrubs. He is quick to find and treat insect or fungus problems before I even notice them. What a positive and thorough service rep!

I have been using Massey for the past 12 years, I cant say Ive always been satisfied with all the Tech that have been to my home, however, I now a very good Tech by the name of (Jordan), I would highly recommend him hes very knowledgeable and very reliable. Great Job Jordan !!

This project of installing grass started in June 2022 and it has been a horrible experience. I will never use Massey again. I reached out in June to install grass and it did not get completed till December. They promised to have it done by Thanksgiving and no one showed up, no phone call etc finally they showed up and installed the wrong grass, they over measured and charged me for that, they took the grass back that was put in the wrong place but still charged me for it. They broke my sprinkler; they laid the grass in clumpy sections. It looks horrible, they put about 6 pieces on one side of my house and charged me for the entire area. I have called the GM Dean, the Office Mnaager Maria Vazquez and the salesperson Matthew all of which are not helpful, and they only want to take off $275 which is unacceptable since that doesnt even cover the cost of the grass that was over estimated/measured, and both sides of my house are uneven, they over charged me for their services, they never delivered on time and acted like they had no idea that they never showed up. They laid the grass over sprinkler heads, and they couldnt pop up to water anything. The entire experience has been ridiculous and now we are contesting the remainder of the bill. I would never recommend using Massey and Dean, Matthew and Maria could careless.

The best. Sets the bar for me. When we first moved to a Avalon park, we would get bombarded by lawn care companies at our door. We originally went with another company, which shall go unnamed, because they all seemed pretty much the same. We got what we paid for. A lot of headaches and excuses. We switched to Massey GreenUp about 3+ years ago and couldnt be happier. They take care of my property, my lawn is beautiful, and they know their business, I feel secure knowing that my landscape is being taken care of with them watching over it. Highly recommend!!
I was previously using a different pest company for in-home pest control because they were a little less expensive than Massey. But after a year of continued problems, I decided to try Massey. Within two months of service, they had resolved my pest problem. I am so thankful!!!
