If I give minus stars, I would like to. This company is horrible and terrible. Please dont waste your money and time!!! They just cut part of your property and not finish yours.

I contacted this company to tell them to stop harrising me. What do they do?Continue to harass me

Worse lawn care company in Orlando first time they did an excellent job 2nd time OMG whoever it was that came did the job so so so bad . Then on top of it all saying my grass grow 13 inches in less than a month charge me $103 the first time was $48 .these ppl are scams they hire anybody and lie .then they say someone will be there at 11 am no one came then 11:13 noone came so now 24 hours pass they only have 24 hours to complete the job yet they didnt .if so its free of charge . Yet they still charged me . Even though I removed my card I had on file n delete my account. There still used my card for a service that was incomplete ..let me warn you all I dont recommend this company overpriced ,rush Jobs and dont care to compete.never never again 0/10

If I could give them a zero, I would. Here is a helpful tip - If you have a question or problem with them and you want to speak to an actual person, you need to dial the phone prompt that says you want to send them money. Otherwise, there are only endless recordings.

With all the details and frequency of the issues, this review would be way too long. In summary, I would not recommend LawnStarter to anyone that cares about their lawns being mowed. I feel like I ve payed more for frustrations and headaches than anything else. Property damage, no shows and still being charged, no communication on when things will/ are done. Goodbye LawnStarter

Due to lawn damage to our property with a service, a refund was agreed upon and we were told it would be a prompt response. We had to come out of pocket for the expense but Lawn Starter said they would refund it back to the card on file. After multiple calls and multiple weeks of the refund never showing up, they said it would be additional weeks after yet another follow up call. I have wasted hours at this point over a refund for all the sudden them to tell me, the refund would now have to go through a 3rd party who wanted our personal bank account information. We were not comfortable with that and told that was our only option. For a company to be this big but yet completely unable or unwilling to send back an agreed upon refund any other way after we had damage to our property is unacceptable. Call someone else because the run around they give you is not worth it.

Dont do it! Cant contact anyone. The grass cutters lie! I cut my own grass AFTER SEVERAL delays and they still tried to charge me. I cut my grass and the chick tried to cut my JUST CUT GRASS that I did and charge ME for it!! I will be reporting everywhere

Simone is very unprofessional. He damaged our fence in June and to date there has been no resolution just lies. Now he has blocked me. Buyers beware and dont use them. Carol Dann No specialist has email me anything as you say they did!

They do a fine job, a bit overpriced. My biggest issue is there three cut minimum that I never heard about after coordinating the service through thumbtack. They never told me that I would even receive a second no, I just found out after being charged. Then I had to talk to two different customer service reps before even being able to cancel the service so that I wouldnt have a third

Reached out to this company on Thumbtack and received a call from a long winded lady who would not stop talking about a forced 3 mow subscription plan for like 200 dollars or something. All I wanted was a simple cut and edging, in a 1,000 square foot yard. The lady talked for so long even after I told her what I wanted that I hung up on her. I found someone local to do it for 30 bucks. They have texted me, called me, and sent me emails for 3 days in a row and keep lowering their price despite the fact I havent replied and I moved on. THE JOB IS DONE. Ill be buying a lawnmower.

Signed up and did not honor their 48 hr time commitment I had scheduled for the first appointment. I stressed to them my time frame was important, but they let me down and we cancelled.

Dont use this company, the quality of work is awful, inconsistent, they will charge you extra and not even come out. Save your money and stay away from this garbage service

The service was poor at times 2 weeks late and did a poor job missed edges, had to go out and finished the job for them. Found a local lawn service half the price always done on time weather permitting and they do a great job.

Absolutely the worst experience with landscaping I ve ever had. I had a bi-weekly service where the crew decided to skip a service day but didn t bother to pull in my next service date. My yard got in such a state I was fined for the growth. I attempted contacting the crew directly and through the company and expressed the need for urgency, that they caused, and I got no where. There is a three cut minimum with this company so beware. I m on my last cut assuming they ll actually ever come do it.

They broke my sliding glass door and 4 hours later emailed us asking us to get them 2 repair quotes. We have a hole open to the outside in our house and they reply with it could be up to 5 business days. Save yourself and go with someone trustworthy that cares about their clients.

My daughter scheduled this as a Xmas present for me. They did not show up in their 2-day time window and rescheduled at their convenience. When they finally came, they announced themselves at the door so I could put up the dog and open the back gate, then they cut and edged quickly but did not use a mower with a bag and so left clippings on the lawn. I tried to cancel the service, but their policy is that you must pay for three calls. The next time they came, they did a drive by mowing. They did not announce themselves and came and left before I noticed they were there, cutting only the small front yard, again leaving the grass and leaf clippings on the lawn.

Property damage, inconsistencies in service, and crews won t revisit to fix issues. After I canceled the service for a 2nd time (after trying to give them a second chance over a year later), I still had someone mow my yard. It s like they don t even pay attention to anything in the app.

This company is a joke. They offer credits for sharing and then do not give those credits and make up all kinds of reasons why they cant help fix the situation. So in my opinion, do NOT post or share their company as you will not receive ur said credit. Also their mowers well most of them dont even have legit lawn mowing equipment. I came home to see three vehicles at my house and a U-Haul truck with a U-Haul trailer in my driveway and along my yard. Like they were having a picnic, and the was two people cutting my grass with two WEEDWACKERS. I MEAN THE WHOLE YARD. And Im paying almost 100 dollars a month on this business to not vet their sub-companies before letting them come ruin peoples lawns. Not to mention the workers trying to solicit business off of this lawn starters company. Going straight to Google and posting this as well. Ill buy my own equipment from now on.

UPDATE: LawnStarters sent an email saying they werent going to do anything. So, the below message from them is only a facade for damage control and to appear helpful. ORIGINAL: This is a very shady company that will only provide good service the first 3 times to gain your trust. Then, theyll charge for EXPENSIVE services they never performed. First time was a few months ago. My bank statement showed they charged for tree pruning that my children had done 2 weeks prior. The company refused to refund the money for about 1 hour until I got fed up and told them I would file a small claims against them because I had screenshots of the conversations proving I declined their services because quote was to high, had video evidence of my adult children pruning the trees, and security camera videos of their company only mowing. Then, they agreed to refund my money. Last month, they charged me 9X more for supposedly having high grass. Again, I noticed the price in my bank statement. The pictures they provided are for my neighbors yard. They took the pictures from a far distance to distort that the tall grass was growing on the other side of the green chain link fence. Thankfully, I have my security camera footage proving their claims false. The company is impossible to get a hold of because of you do speak with someone, theyll just transfer you back to the switch board.

I really dont thrive on giving bad reviews but it has been constant horrible service. It never fails a holiday the week before and after multiple cancelations! Hit or miss on someone showing up to do the work. Their solution $15 dollar discount for the month! One to three times ok.. but consistently getting discounts because not showing up or poor service ! I will say that for a min it was wonderful! But that was soo long ago! We are awaiting for the service prior to Memorial weekend to be completed to this day! Here is what my lawn looks like! We complained all we get is excuses and delays! Sorry I am loyal to those worthy!! We will not be continuing service with lawnstarter!

Very reliable, always on time, I have been working with them for 7 years and have never had an issue. Great company, definitely recommend.

Do not hire these people. They make it seem convenient with their app, but in reality their policies are there to try an up charge you for ridiculous things against your authorization, but will perform the service without letting you know until the end so they can charge more against your will. They added an additional 25$ for a patch of grass that would take a ten year old five minutes to do with a weed eater. They said it was a tall grass fee . It wasn t and the funniest part was I was already on their biweekly service so they were the only ones maintaining the yard. Everyone do yourselves a favor and hire a personal lawn care professional and not these scammers.

Scalped our lawn. Only mowed 1/3 of the back. Mowed 2 days prior to them showing up to avoid the long grass fee and I am still getting charged for it. Very disappointing experience!

Do not hire, after months of them not cutting my mothers lawn and me trying to cancel, they are charging my card saying they cut the lawn when they did not, extremely unprofessional and in my opinion crooks trying to pull a bait and switch. I just want to cancel because after months and many cancelations on their behalf and many emails back and forth they insist on charging my card when they werent supposed to and wont cancel my account or return my money. Dont say I didnt warn you! Just another big company trying to get one over on a middle class joe..

Horrible experience, first crew made excuses every time they said they would be at my home to cut grass and then the day they were to show up I get a text that they no longer cut grass for Lawn starters anymore. Now my grass is overgrown waiting almost two weeks , I call lawn service they assign another crew to cut my grass and I have the same problem no shows on days promised, my HOA on my back about my lawn , I called Lawn service. Canceled account and will never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone. * I bought my own Lawn Mower and other tools and finally was able cut my own lawn. *I will never forget the run around I got with that Lawn Starters service, it was Horrible.

Terrible service, showed up the first week no problem, the 2nd week they cancelled 3 times and the person I was speaking to, James was ver unprofessional. When they came they only used a weed eater on half of the yard. Thought I would give another chance but not after multiple cancellations and unprofessional communication DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT. It s very easy to find someone local running a small business that will do it for cheaper better and more professionally. And they will come on here with some half baked reply about how sorry they are and ti email them, but just look at the reviews and see how many people have the same problems as me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

They dont offer the services they advertise. I wanted a one time mow and requested more information about having a one time mow done only to find out they have a minimum three mow requirement. Waste of my time.

LawnStarter mows my better than I ever did and very quickly too. The yard is well manicured each and every time they come.

This website will sign any sub-contractor they can get, to come out to your property unvetted. They sent three different contractors with three totally different bad experiences. The first crew they sent out rolled up in a puff of smoke like Cheech and Chong and fresh out of Compton. Did a horrible job. The 2nd crew they sent out was two guys in a beat up pickup truck, one guy had a claw hand and the other a stump for a leg. They too, did a horrible job. The next crew showed up three days after being scheduled which brings up another similarity of the previous two crews. Despite the web app, ZERO COMMUNICATION with any of the crews. That last crew complained that they werent being paid enough. All any of them did was hack up the grass and no additional work. Horrible experience.

I rarely write bad reviews, but I wish I had listened to the bad ones on here regarding the long grass fee it is not a fee, it is in fact a double charge.

I love LawnStarters. They always come thru when scheduled and very professional.

Paid for biweekly lawn care services, they came out took photos of the lawn and stated that it 6 inches long and changed us an additional $51 fee. When we called they stated they didnt have to provide any proof and that it appeared to be long and they were not going to give us a refund. They changed my account without my permission and I would like to report them for fraud and charging customers with a fee that is not valid. The glass was not 6 inches long. They are scammers and should be sued for fraud.

Two men showed up today. They both did an excellent job. They both cleaned up the grass they cut, putting them in garbage bags. They both worked extra hard. The machinery used seemed to be in good condition. Sep 2023.

Spoke to the apartment complex and they have no idea what LawnStarter Lawn Care is. Also, called the phone number as well and spoke to the representatives and they stated that this address has nothing to do with the company.

Absolutely awful company. No way to contact by phone and speak to someone. Generic responses from emails that don t come close to addressing your issues. Random people constantly changing service contractors. Never know who will show up, IF they do show up. Many times cancel on day of scheduled service and then you get scheduled for two weeks later. Random people that come to cut the lawn chop up the lawn ornamentation, siding, etc. This is an absolutely F rated, zero star company.

Not a real company, they have stupid call center people that read their script, that can t even give you a quote and try to make you agree to things before you even know what they charge for services.. waste of time.

Your cheap and scripted rebuttals fall on an already furious consumer, who has continuously changed crews due to their lack of detail and continued destruction of property (6 in <6 months of service). The crew leader for this FINAL crew was rude when he came banging on my door, and I want nothing more to do with them. Your fee for a row of 25 long, 3 tall hedges is ridiculous to begin with then they didn t even do the whole job and acted reluctant and rude about cleaning up after their work when they had to come back. The lack of professional of your hired lawn crews absolutely blows my mind and their professionalism towards dissatisfied customers is absolutely disgusting. I don t expect to pay for this continued trouble which started when you scheduled a crew on a holiday weekend , (Thursday-Good Friday) whereas they did not even have the courtesy to let me know it wouldn t be done till Monday after Easter. Which actually WAS a holiday, Easter Monday. They claimed they ll send them back for a 3rd time but that ll be unnecessary, as I ve hired a crew directly who was able to do the job same day, to my specifications, without being 1) rude, 2) damaging yard lighting, 3) made sure to politely contact me for any issues or additional charges and 4) CLOSED MY GATE. They even came to haul the clippings the next day with a fresh trailer! THRY EVEN CONTACTED ME TO LET ME KNOW! Now THAT is service but you won t find it on LawnStarter.

Highly recommended service overall! LawnCare itself makes the entire process of finding a lawn care provider very easy to manage, request new services such as landscaping, etc. I do suggest requesting a new service provider from LawnCare if the first one doesn t work out; we ended up switching and having a much better experience with the second. Our current lawn maintenance crew is amazing and very helpful. Since LawnCare is the go-between, it s important to let them know if you want something new. Definitely try out!

They never show up, I get lawn service twice monthly, does it look like it?

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I have been using them for the past 2 months and every two weeks I ve had to call them because one of the crews they scheduled canceled or never showed up. Not to mention doing the job incorrectly and leaving my yard lookin uncut. This service is supposed to be convenient for the home, not a hassle. I also dont understand the purpose of the Lawn Starter app when the crews DO NOT RESPOND. I called and canceled my services today, and agin I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM.

They were ok for a while then I skipped one mow and now they just dont show up anymore. I didnt cancel I just pushed my mow back a few days no one ever came. I reached out to support they said they would send someone 7/14 or 15th after waiting more then 3 weeks for service. No one ever showed up and no one texted or called. Going to have to look elsewhere. I do not recommend this company long term.

Horrible experience. I scheduled a service and on the day i got an email that said they were unable to access my yard (i dont live in a gated community) since i needed it done i mowed the lawn myself. A day later i got billed saying they completed the job. So now the company billed me for my work haha. Im not going to wait til the 3rd service i have cancelled

Been using them for over a year now. Quality of work varies depending on the crew you have doing your work. Price is reasonable if not a few dollars higher than other providers but this is basically like Uber for lawncare. Ive had two unreliable crews now for June and July of this year I have mowing scheduled for every two weeks and the last two crews have not been able to meet their commitment to complete the work. As a result I have only had my lawn mowed twice since mid June 2022 and yet again today a different crew canceled and yet again my lawn is too long. Customer service said they will do what they can to get someone here by next Tuesday which will make it 3 weeks since the last service. Seems they need to be a little more careful as to who they allow to work with them as Ive had to ask for a new crew about 4 times now.

Terrible work. Poor quality lawn mowing, bad edging and awful weed whacking. Not reliable. No attention to detail. Half baked work. Could have done better with my eyes closed. Look elsewhere for lawn service and save yourself this frustration.

I used to be able to recommend LawnStarter, but my opinion has changed. They message me after EVERY service offering a discount if I post a review. After doing it twice and receiving no discount I was yelled at by Nextdoor for advertising a business and spamming my neighbors. They even went out of their way to make this situation even more frustrating. No actual help or solution was been provided other than a request for proof of my claims. They messaged me nine separate times to follow up. I ultimately took down both of my posts, so I didnt get kicked off the platform. Therefore I have ZERO proof to provide them. They never honored their word on giving me a discount for either posts, so why would I trust them again or help spread world of their company. Their customer service department has been nothing short of exhausting. They lost my business in their relentless attempts to coax me into providing them with positive reviews/referrals. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I was offered a ludacris $10 credit. Shame on you and your company. I hope realize that your poor business practices successfully turned a happy customer into a negative review.

Terrible. They said the first cut would be $19. It ended up being $64 for the first cut because they said it was long grass. Okay, fine. We signed up for bi-weekly service anyway but they never came back. Every time you called them it was some excuse about not having a crew available. They rescheduled 7 times then sent a new estimate for $170. Absolutely do not recommend!

Customer service was good. Actual lawn service never happened. Service was scheduled for wednesday, didnt happen. I called, was friendly so was customer service. CS said tech has 2 day window, I agreed that was understandable and said see ya thursday. Thursday service didnt happen. Got a text from Tech stating they had lawn equipment malfunction (uh huh) and now service would be between Friday and Monday. 6 days is too long to lock dogs up, be better than to schedule a 48 hr window and turn it into a 140hr window. Called and canceled service and went with The Grounds Guys of Sanford. Same day service, 150 month, 42 mows, trim and blows a year, 21 Flower bed weedings and 12 bush trimmings per year, and......same day service because the crew was in the area. Thats how efficient running of tech crews go.

Charge us $90 for ONE lawn mowing. Additional charge was not explained until after they did it and was only communicated after we complained. Customer service was poor. Not the way to run a company.

I just got off the phone with the service agent for this company and I cant ever recommend this company to anyone. We are buying a home and the realty company that is selling us the property has noticed that the lawn is in a very unkempt condition and is offering to have it mowed and cleaned up prior to our move in. When I called LawnStarter and explained our situation, I asked if when we get our quote for service that it be emailed to us so we can forward it to the realty company, since they will be paying for the service through their company. The woman told me that they can give us the quote over the phone but cant email us a quote. When I asked her why they can only say the quote versus an email, she instead directed me to their website. When I told her that she didnt answer my question, she abruptly hung up on me. This all seems very fishy and very unprofessional. Id stay far away from this company.

This company is responsive and affordable, however the contracted lawn mowing companies dont pay attention to detail and mow and trim as well as a company you would directly call. I guess you get what you pay for.

The team that was assigned is the only team I want taking care of my property at 7 Kalverton Court. Christopher I finally was able to view the photos of the lawn at 7 Kalverton Ct and the lawn looks amazing ! I cant thank you and your professional team enough , all my concerns have been dissipated, Photos or not my faith and trust is and will always be with your team to manage the lawn!

Bait and Switch / Borderline Harassment. I had filled out an inquiry as they stated they do one time cuts. Also states in their website as an option. Spoke to one saleperson that pushed to go out there for 3 cuts minimum and informed them reason why i only need one cut. We ended the conversation with them stating they would get back to me. Get a text message later saying they could do the first cut for $19 bucks. Get on a phone call and again they say they dont do one time cuts and pushed for 3 cuts. Ended that conversation. Third time they reach out the saleperson informs me they have it on their website for single cut to gather the information of the client to go ahead and inform them they do 3 cuts minimum. Perfect Example of BAIT AND SWITCH! Unprofessional and Pushy lawn care company.

Seemed simple enough. Pay a bit of a premium for them to find/schedule lawn service. Attempted to have them handle a rental property for the last 7 months. Constant issues with crews, incomplete mows. They couldnt get someone for so long then they wanted to charge me a long grass fee. The only good part of this service is they do not fight you to refund your money for their inability to perform the service.

Started off okay. We didn t need much. When we d add an occasional service like trimming bushes it was never done well. But we kept the service because it was affordable for our biweekly cuts and the app was convenient. Finally pulled the plug this week when the guys mowed our lawn in the pitch black dark. How can you even see what kind of job you re doing? I couldn t believe it. Made my husband cancel immediately.

I recently moved into my home. I had a service appointment set for Jan 2. When setting the appointment, I was thorough in detailing the yard condition and work needed: mowing, twig removal, and leaf removal. I spoke with my crew, a man named John, on Dec 30 via phone after responding to a call me message in the app. He told me that he personally came by my yard and verified everything and confirmed January 2nd. He mentioned my broken fence door being open so he definitely came by. At 11:53am Jan 2nd I received a message through the LawnStarter app that the crew was on the way. At 11:58am I got a message that they wanted an additional $152 for conditions already described and verified, and that the appointment was now pushed out until the 5th. John did not answer when called. I called the call center and they told me the crew/John rescheduled the appointment - asked me if maybe the weather was bad. I assured them its a bright sunny day. They then suggested the reschedule and service add on was because John just saw the yard for the first time, I assured them I spoke with John several days prior and he already came by to verify the yard. John then wrote and said they reschduled meaning the company. I was on the phone with the company at that moment and they reiterated no, the service provider himself does the rescheduling, not us. I cancelled all pending services at that moment.

My lawn has never looked better. The crew is professional and timely. Almost 3 years Im still impressed with their work. My crew is always reliable and has even helped with that occasional sprinkler fix, after my son ran it over.

This company is disgusting. They would charge me for mows when no one would even show up. I cancelled my service over a year ago and randomly was charged. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with customer service to basically be told they can t refund me for the random charge. This is appalling and gross and I have to now change all my banking info

I have tried to cancel their service and they refuse to cancel my request. Unfortunately, I had to report to the BBB since I am a victim of a scam. They continue to charge my credit card since they refuse to cancel.

Very disappointed. We put our services on hold. They showed up with out an appointment scheduled and charged us a lawn mower fee after not using them for several months. They wont refund. And on top of that we have damaged plants, a fence and irrigation due to their mowing and they wont credit us for any of their carelessness. Horrible company. Would not recommend to anyone ever. They are very unprofessional. And to top it off we have now cancelled and they thought giving us a 30.00 credit would be suffice to cover all the damage. Yet they still charged us for a mow when we didnt authorize it or confirm it.

They dont have control over the subcontractors they sign up. You may get a good mow; but the Other Services that cost a LOT more money (Leaf Removal, Tree trimming, bush trimming, yard clean up, etc.) they offer those services; but they dont do the work. Then the APP demands that you take pictures to prove the work wasnt done. But they wont believe you, until they assign a different Crew to your premises to visually inspect. They give you a credit towards the new Crew, but its the same Merry-Go-Round. Just LIMIT them to mowing, if you can. Or go with some other local service. The APP works, the Yard Crews they assign to do work on your property dont do the work.

I would recommend LawnStarters to everyone. They are Professional! During the winter months I have my service put on hold and the date that I selected for it to start back which was March it started back no problems. You can skip your service if you need to for any reason. They keep you updated They email you and ask you how your service was how your lawn looks Complete professionals all the way around.

They re awesome! I needed service and the app was easy to use! They sent a young man and he did a good job! I recommend this service to anyone.

This is one of the worst services in Oviedo. I ve had multiple crews either fail to show up or claim they mowed my lawn when they in fact did not and still charged me as if they had. If you are looking for lawn service or marinate in the Oviedo area PLEASE look else where. Would give zero stars if possible.

The quality wildly varies between the company that comes and cuts your yard. I ve had a company say they are cutting the grass and they were there for 5 minutes and only blew leaves around.

Im a first time home owner and do not know much about lawn care, but Lawnstarter has kept my yard well manicured and clear of weeds. I request a quote through the app if I require services other than what I have receive on a reoccurring basis (cut grass, edging, etc.) They are not only affordable but reasonable with their quotes. Ive used them for a month now and plan to continue using them. Personally, theyve been excellent with my yard.

I cant tell if this service is legit. I signed up a month ago, and the first crew they assigned cancelled 3 times making excuses why. The service was very quick to find me a new crew, only to have the new crew even worse. The guy from the crew had no common sense and couldnt figure out how to call from a gate to be let in. I noticed online people saying this service is a scam too

They will postpone service at will, I asked for service from July 1st, they postponed service at will 3 times and didnt provide service until July 25th and asked me to pay $195 for long grass but actually charged my credit card $246, this is a completely discredited company, dont fall for it!

Do not have Chris as your crew leader. He will charge a long grass fee without notice! I have been a customer for over a year with no issues. I am blind and in a fixed income. I can t afford more than monthly service. Chris skipped mowing from being sick. I understood then 2 months later charged me a long grass fee of $38 when u skipped a mowing. He said it was policy. Terrible customer service. Then said he would drop me when I asked for a refund

I was scheduled for Bi-weekly nows and all was going good until my crew became sick. I completely understood why they needed to reschedule until the next week. However, that was not going to work for me as my lawn would be completely overgrown. I asked the company to reassign a crew and they were scheduled to come out 2 days later. The fill in crew has never shown up and has rescheduled 3 times. At this point, they have rescheduled themselves a day after my regular Bi-weekly crew was supposed to come! Now my Bi-weekly crew has rescheduled again. So even though 2 different crews have been assigned to do my yard work for a week, no one has come. My property is now completely overgrown and I assure you they would still charge me a tall grass fee if they still had my business!

I have had 2 crews in the past year not show up at all for weeks and I have scheduled weekly service. They have changed crews and said they would still make the next service and have not with little to no communication. Very unreliable.

They charged for a mow that was suspended for 10/18/2021 and never came out. They gave me a credit for 15$ out of the 34$ next mow. Trying to get in touch with them is a pain. I did like this service but when they dont correct there mistake you might think twice. Negative

Very poor service quality. They canceled my lawn service three times in a course of one week. The first excuse was an unavoidable emergency. They rescheduled for another three days. On that day I git a text saying they couldnt cut my grass because there is a fence. My fence is not locked and theres a big opening in the front but they didnt bother to check if the fence gate is locked or unlocked. They saw the fence and assume right away that it was locked. So they rescheduled again for two days. On that day it was a sunny day. But I get a text at 3:30 pm saying they canceled because of inclement weather. The clouds didnt get dark until 3:30pm and that is when they decided to text me that they are canceling. I called the company the next day to complain and the operator apologized. I asked to speak with a manager but he put me on hold. He came back and said no manager is available and if he could put me on hold again. I said have your manager call my cell phone. He said the manager does not call back just any customer. They have to hear your complaint first. This is moronic since I just explained to him my complaint is. So I canceled my service. This company hires third party mowers. But when the mowers come to your property they want an easy property to mow. If your property has a fence they will give every excuse in the book to avoid mowing your property. Thats three cancelations on their part in one week.

This for the Application on your phone called LAWNSTARTER which directed me to this business. Its a application that can book lawn mowing. This business operates like a scam. I know it s an app I know it seems convenient however the price you pay is very low quality lawn care and as in my case if they damage your property you will get Zero let me reiterate ZERO ability to get compensated no matter what the contractor does. This sevice is so bad they told me to go to Amazon to repaint my brand new new fence after their contractor hit my fence with his equipment with what seems to have had a bad day. Ripped my grass numerous spots and they told me to get a quote ; well quotes from all references where to high for them so they told me to take a hike because they couldn t afford it. Use a local reputable service this service is designed to make contractors money from volume it is NOT and let me repeat NOT designed to give you quality lawn care and or protect the consumer from issues that occur with their contractors. The insurance policy is a joke they can say no. Currently taking this to court and I would recommend you STAY AWAY BUYER BEWARE!! scam like tactics wrapped up in a app. Also they hold onto your card to which you have to email them to remove your payment , during that time you will be charged as I was and many for zero cuts. This company is a scam DONT DO IT USE A RELIABLE LOCAL COMPANY TRUST ME! ( iTunes reviews are also horrific and BBB )

As a law enforcement officer in Orlando Fl, I m appalled at the responsiveness of lawn starter and the company. Once something is damaged there is no one to call only email. You must wait 24-48 hours for someone to come fix the problem. In this case my water pipe was broken twice so I had no water. For okay service this is not something I m willing to deal with.

I like the convenience of billing with an immediate invoice and knowing that my lawn will be cut on time, every time. If you are tired of missed service, billing disputes, etc.. from your local lawn person, then try LawnStarter because you will not be disappointed.

Ive been using them for almost a year. Recently I got a new card so my billing failed and I was asked to provide a new card. I updated my card information in the app at least a month ago and they keep sending me notifications that I need to update my payment method. And they have now suspended my services for non-payment even though I updated my new card in the app I even changed cards several times thinking that it was an issue with the card. I have emailed their customer service about this issue because all Im trying to do is pay them and continue my mowing however no one has even responded to my email.

At first I was hesitant but LawnStarter did their best to find me the right Lawn service and customer service always helped me out and resolved any issue ASAP! I am glad I went with them.

I was told that the lawn service was $19 per mow but have been charged for $40 each service for my tiny lawn. Naturally they dont have access to my initial phone call anymore. Not impressed, do not use this company.
