My experience was half and half. He did a beautiful job to my back yard and he was supposed to haul everything off but that never happened. I had to pay extra money to haul it off even though I paid him to do it. He was to lay sod in my front yard and I specifically told him St Augustine and the fact my HOA only allowed 2 types so he decided to lay Bermuda and tell me it was st Augustine.
Please stay away from this business. I hired them to cut the grass at my yard. He asked me to zelle him the money after he sent me pictures of the yard. He omitted the back of the yard and the side. I zelle him the money and after that he mentioned to me he missed that part and that he will come to cut it 2 days after. This was on July 30th. He has not finished the job I paid him in FULL $450 which he begged me to advance him $50 for gas, which I did. Up to today 08/19/2024 he has not come to cut the grass, he blocked me and has not answer my text messages or calls. He said he will return the money $50each week. I did not pay him in parts, I paid him in full, please STAY AWAY , HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY JUST LIKE HE DID TO ME.
BEWARE!!! I hired this company via NEXT DOOR APP! Maurice spent days negotiating price with me and did his follow up. I agreed on a price to plant some podocarpus around my fence. Paid $992.50 upfront to “buy” materials. This was Thursday, Thursday he tells me the nursery ran out of plants. Really!? He then tells me he will come over Friday, Friday comes and tells me they’re still loading another truck. Time goes by and he says Saturday first tithing in the morning. Saturday comes and no answer to my calls OR text messages. Apparently after I went and dug more into Nextdoor app he has multiple profiles and more people have been a victim of this. Money paid upfront and no answer to clients calls. Sunbiz business account is inactive.
Maurice and his crew came to my house at very short notice, and moved some heavy machinery around my house. They did an excellent job, and I'm very happy with their service. Five stars.
Don't even know where to start with this company and the owner but I've been waiting on a refund for over a week after deciding to have another more credible company do our lawn project and after daily texts saying he will start the job AFTER being paid and then not showing up. I should have seen the owners unprofessional response in the comments of these reviews and that should have been a red flag. Also, the Next Door app has horror story reviews of this company that I didn't see until after I hired them. At this point, still haven't gotten my money, the company owes me $200. Willing to edit this review once I get refunded.
Lost $1,000 because of this business. Agreed on a price of ~$1000 to trim bushes, install new sod, remove some white gravel, install new weed barrier, and lay down new mulch. Instead, they removed half of the white rocks and then tried to cover them up (and the fact they never installed the weed barrier) with the mulch. They never installed any new sod. Instead they pocketed the full $1000 and cancelled 7 (yes I counted) times over the next two months to complete work. They lied multiple times about stopping by. They promised a refund and I did not receive any money back. I was able to get half my money back thanks to another reviewer who mentioned not to pay cash and I used a protected Venmo business payment instead. Unfortunately, I still am out $500 because I wanted to save them money on transaction fees :( I even asked for a new plant to match the existing plants and they put in a random red plant?? Anyways, I would avoid this company. If you decide to use them don't pay upfront unless it's with some type of purchase protection like Venmo for services.
Greedy’s Landscaping has installed our sod and borders, and has done our mulching for a few years now. We are always satisfied with the results. Great price, detailed work, professional service! We definitely recommend this company!
Maurice is responsible and stays in touch throughout the job. I first hired him to replace some sod, then to replace all my mulch and landscape the front of the house, fix sprinkler heads completely taken over by roots from our trees and finally to clean our roof, driveway, sidewalk and home entrance. I have liked working with him and he has been a great help at the right time to help us meet all HOA maintenance requirements. I gladly recommend him to help you take care of your lawn and home.

first and last house i will do with maurice, doesnt finish work, says he will do certain line items on the quote, and wont do it after he is paid. Paid him to do a yard at one of my houses, after multiple attempts to reach the individual he never reached back out to finish the project. Safe to say that similar to the other reviews, he will scam you out of your money. Would not recommend sending money to this individual lol.
If they show up they are pretty decent, but they dont show up when they say they will. I paid in advance for 1months service and cannot seem to get them out here. After they came out the one and only time I received a request to lend $50 for 2 free cuts- this appears to be fraud all the way around. After threatening to put a police report in for theft and fraud they finally showed up to do 1 cut 2 weeks later. So I paid for hedges to be done- only one side done and paid for a month in advance of service- only got 1 cut and loaned this fraud $50 for a ladder (to help with cutting my hedges) in exchange for 2 free cuts and got none- absolute fraud! Do not use- I have video footage from my house showing him talking about what our arrangement is, and me paying him (and him saying not to tell the other workers about how much) and texts showing the empty promises of showing up. Do not pay in advance if you are dumb enough to use them! Make them complete their job first!

This company/person was hired to do work in my front yard that we wanted done. He didnt even do 20% of the work and left. He was at our house for 1hr and left with the excuse that he had to leave and would come back the next day to finish it. He never came back after that and kept giving us excuses of why he couldnt make it. He owes us money and refuses to refund us. Now we are left with a mess in our yard, unfinished work and out of our money that work really hard for. This man has done this to so many people and Im so mad I didnt notice it before. If you are thinking about working with this company, look them up on Nextdoor App first and look at the horrible stories and experience others have had with them. Idk how to fix this situation but people like this should not be allowed to have fraudulent businesses like this one. Ive been unemployed for 8 months and just found a job making minimum wage and was able to save up a little bit of money to fix my yard a bit and this ***** takes it all.

Did an awesome job on basic maintenance and then came back to clean up my palms/oaks/poison ivy in back- it was a mess they had to deal with. Nice guy that knows what he s doing. I would definitely recommend.

Used Maurice for a trash out project. First appointment we had they didn t show up, apparently had a transportation issue. I gave them a second chance and they made it and delivered. His guys are a really good at getting the job done.

Used this company before and after leaving a positive review i never saw him again. Had to cancel multiple BBQ and wasted money on food. Promises to show up and never does. Last chance I gave him was hoping he showed since I acquired a maintenance contract for 30 locations and needed a landscaper. Guess I will keep looking.

I live in a community that provides free landscaping services and I still pay for Greedys Landscaping because theyre that good. Always shows up no matter when I call and goes above and beyond. Theyve even taken out trash to help out without asking. Great company
Team did a great job getting my yard back under control - edged, trimmed the fence line and around trees, and mowed- theyll be coming back to mow again in two weeks.
We recently purchased a home in Orlando and hired Greedys based on their positive reviews. Things started OK. They cleaned out the overgrowth around our house, charging us $1,700 (fair price). We then agreed to have them redo our landscaping for $5,000. We paid a deposit of over $1,300, and Greedys said they would be here to do the work on Monday. They didnt show. Over and over again, week after week, they promised to be here and didnt show up. They did finally drop by to mow the lawn and about an hour of work removing some existing landscape blocks and then left. After that, they asked for another $1300. I said I wouldnt pay more until more progress was made on the project. They agreed but still didnt show up after multiple promises. Finally, I had to give them a deadline to make some progress, and they again promised to meet it. To no surprise, they didnt show up. It became a running joke around the house. So Im out about $1000 (considering the bit of work they did complete) and have to find someone to complete the project. Long story short, I dont recommend Greedys, but if you do hire them, dont pay anything in advance.
Greedys Landscaping was awesome. I needed help last minute and they were able to come the very same day. They are very professional and cleaned up after their work. Very reasonably priced and I will be using them for tree removal.Highly recommend!
Absolute SCAM ! Similar story to what Ken mentioned. Everything starts well until you give the money he asked for. He will give you a very good price, send you a invoice, you will agree to it and pay him the money for booking equipment, material etc. Next thing you know is the invoice is edited, you dont see the same number you agreed on, the description on work has changed and there is no way to find the invoice he send initially. (the software he uses somehow edit all the previous invoices ) After which everything is about checking box. Job that can take up to a few days will be completed in few hours and he will be at your door to ask for the balance payment. DO NOT HIRE this company.
Greedys Landscaping is a great company to do business with. The owner and his team are outstanding, they deliver a quality product. The Company leaves your home with some green grass that is beautiful.
I would highly recommend Greedy s! I unfortunately had to switch from a different company for my home due to their inability to send timely invoices. After telling that to Maurice, I was very impressed that he not only trimmed and edged my lawn beautifully but also sent out an invoice within minutes of finishing! My favorite part about my lawn service is that I asked for specific things to be done (China berries to be blown off of driveway, branches to be moved for bulk pickup) and these extras were actually done! My Lawn looks 100x better than it did with my other company and I ve only received one cut. Definitely recommend if you re in the west Orlando area!
