They always do a professional job for a fair price

I hired grasshoppers to install some drains in my yard. I have some erosion/drainage issues and needed drains. They could have sold me something much more expensive, but were very honest and gave me a cheaper option that would fit my needs better... They had a bit of backlog (about 3 months) and told me during our first meeting. They showed up when they said they would. Their workers were very polite, fast, and did an AMAZING job. They had to dig up my lawn, but when they left, it looked like they were never here (they are magicians with lawn repair)... The drains work perfectly. I am very happy for the work they did, and most likely will call them again to install more drains next year. I would gladly recommend them to friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family (and random people checking google reviews). EDIT/UPDATE: October 10th, 2024 (just after Hurricane Milton): Goodness, these drains REALLY saved us. Our house would have for sure flooded if we did not have these drains. Tomorrow, I WILL be calling them to get more drains installed on the other side of our house. Grasshoppers was a life saver (well, money saver) last night. Any money spent on the drains, you will more than save on the next hurricane (not to mention summer storms). Well worth the money!

Just spoke with Edwin about our Community landscape services (pesticide and fertilization of the trees and shrubs). Very professional and responsive, great customer service! Our account manager, Josh Lackey is excellent! Also, want to recognize Sage Spear (no relation). I met Sage today while he was treating the HOA common areas. Great attitude, extremely polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and he did a super job on fertilizing, weed control and treating for fire ants. Thank you! Sage, well done.

Sage and his landscaping team at Grasshoppers were extremely professional and courteous to their customer. Landscape work began on-time as scheduled and completed all items as promised. Very happy with the work that has been done - love my new landscape layout. Sage was willing to work within my budget and made appropriate adjustments to earn my business. I highly recommend their landscape services. Very impressed of how Sage conducted his business professionally and in a courteous fashion.

Sage and team recently advised and completed residential work on our front lawn, sprinkler system and border area. The team was super efficient and did an exceptional job at cleaning up. Thanks to them all for an excellent, efficient job with old school customer service and care. I would recommend Sage and Grasshoppers team for landscape work.

Sage and his Grasshoppers team were great! While not the least expensive quote I received, their workmanship was definitely worth it. They we responsive to all my questions; available when I needed the work done, and everything was executed as promised for the price quoted. Highly recommend.

My car broke down on the side of a busy road and three of the grasshopper landscape gentleman came and pushed me to safety. I am so very grateful to Eduardo, Angel, and their third associate who helped for being the quality human beings that they are. Thank you!

Had them out to do some drainage work a few years back, which basically saved our house during the recent hurricane. Just brought them back for more drainage work, irrigation and landscaping after a new pool got put in. Sage and his crews were always responsive and punctual, even working around my ever changing schedule and scope of work. 1000% recommend, don t even bother getting other quotes!

We had a major landscaping redo, and used grasshopper. I can highly recommend them, and especially Sage, who was our project manager. He responded very quickly to any questions I had, came out to the house numerous times to check on the work, and made sure that I was 100% satisfied. Horrible lawn maintenance company. These pics are right AFTER they serviced my neighborhood. They do not cut bed edges nor tree rings. They leave clippings everywhere. Note the tree ring photo, there is new mulch under the deep layer of clippings. More weeds in beds and turf than I have ever seen. Horrible Horrible maintenance company.

I could not be more impressed with this company! Their work was meticulous and extremely well done. More importantly, the drainage solution thatMike designed works perfectly! Also, and I wasnt expecting this, the crew put all of the landscaping back in place exactly the way it was before they started digging. I expected a chopped up yard at the end of this and instead, you cant even tell they were here. Well, except for the incredibly effective drainage system they installed! You definitely want to speak with Mike. You will be glad you did.

We wanted to landscape our entire front yard but had significant issues with drainage and erosion that had to be addressed. The drainage was especially challenging due to the volume of water from the roof and location of the downspouts. We wanted one company that could take care of all the issues in one job and guarantee its work. Mike came up with excellent solutions and was able to problem-solve along the way. Also his landscape design was what we were looking for. We are very satisfied with the results and feel fortunate that we found a company with the right experience that stands by its work.

This is a great company for palm / tree trimming. I have used them for the last 2 years and they are great.

The team is very friendly but there are some things that were not properly explained and thus resulted in a negative experience. Its important to know a few things before you decide to move forward with this company, here was my experience. I was seeking irrigation quotes and Grasshoppers was one of the companies I looked into. The professionalism, explanations, quality all seemed top notch. I was informed during the estimate and visit that projects were about 6 weeks out and also down payments were required in order to be scheduled. After shopping around I decided to move forward and provided my down payment to be scheduled. A few days later I called to check in as I had not heard back and was informed by the office that schedules were not created yet and that I should be hearing back. A few days passed, this didnt happen. I called back and was informed again that I would be hearing back. I was notified that schedules still were not created. I called back again, and was informed my name was still not schedule. I began wondering why, when down payment was provided as explained, I still was not able to get a date even roughly 2 weeks later. There wasnt an answer I was given aside from whats your info, well check and call you back. After several rounds with the office I explained that I needed a date otherwise Id be pulling out and wanting my money refunded. This did get their attention and the rep did personally contact me after this to explain that they do not provide dates until the week of the project because theyve essentially been burned in the past by scheduling people ahead of time and people needing to change dates resulting in them having open slots during the week. My first thought was-why this was never explained and instead I was just generally informed that to be scheduled a down payment was required? I did not understand the logic behind that, nor do I understand if this was common practice why wasnt the office able to explain it any of the times I called them? My next thought was, isnt that a risk in almost any business involving people and appointments/reservations? I ended up pulling out and requesting my down payment be returned, the company was very prompt in this so I definitely appreciated that as it was not a small amount. I cant say Ive heard of a company not able to schedule you especially when theyre holding a portion of the payment before even doing any work. And for projects that might be in depth it would be nice to be able to make sure the client can have the day off work/clear their schedule to be around. If people needing to change dates is that much of a concern then perhaps Grasshoppers should consider adding some form of clause where if dates are changed within x time frame a portion of deposit is kept or something to help discourage this apparent issue they have. But I certainly do not recommend doing that because that lacks understanding that sometimes life happens and plans need changing and is not very customer oriented. Anyways, that was my experience. Unfortunately I never got behind experiencing the sales team and the office team since I was never able to be given a date for my project to begin. Hopefully your experience is better and knowing that scheduling is not straightforward with them will help set your expectations correctly.

Amazing service and quick response to email. Shrubs have never looked this good since I bought this house 23 years ago. The most blooms I have had on my crepe myrtles! The color for the replacement azaleas is beautiful. Trust me, I will be calling them in the December to set up a spring trimming.

My experience working with Tiffany from Grasshoppers over the past couple of months has been excellent. I highly recommend Grasshoppers. Their communication and service was superb. I wanted a water irrigation meter installed at my property and found out the process was not as simple as calling the water company to take care of everything. I struggled to find a company that actually followed through with providing an estimate for the job and some gave incorrect information on the process itself. Once I contacted Grasshoppers to explain what I wanted, Tiffany knew the process and explained she would be able to provide me with a qoute once the tech evaluated my property and existing equipment. Tiffany responded to all my emails in a timely manner and kept me updated throughout the whole process. I was very pleased with the finally result. I was so pleased that I also hired Grasshoppers to replace sprinkler heads and conduct other system maintenance. Thank you Tiffany and your team for a job well done. I look forward to working with you and your team in the future.

Great company. Great technician. I just wished I would have found Grasshoppers earlier. I wasted good money, and a couple of years using a couple of more well known companies to weed and feed my yard. I really didnt see much improvement but heard a lot of excuses from them. When Sage from Grasshoppers first came out he explained what was going to do (Id heard it before) and did it. It took a couple of months but my yard looks great and Sage has kept it in shape. The only down side is I keep calling him Gage.

I live in Lake Gloria Preserve, a gated community. Grasshoppers maintains all the common areas and keeps our community looking really professionally landscaped. I spoke with Sage not too long ago and told him how great the community looks. They do a wonderful job.

I have recently relocated to Lake Nona from Portland OR. Grasshoppers Landscaping services the North Lake Park community where I now live. I have been so impressed by the beautiful grounds and the prompt, efficient way that the employees tend to the properties. This morning I went out to my car to find a flat tire from a nail. I asked Sage (who was mowing the green space in front of my home) if he might be able to help. He quickly got the pump from his truck and put enough air in my tire so I could drive it to get it repaired. It is so refreshing to receive such helpful kindness! Thank you Sage!! I had several overgrown trees and plants, and the beds below them were buried in weeds. Grasshoppers cleaned all of that up quickly and it looks great.

I had a drain installed to divert rain run off and had portions of my lawn re sodded. Mike Williams came out and talked me through what Options Grasshoppers could provide. During the project there were several issues that arose. Mike was quick to respond and he and the team of workers worked hard to get the issues resolved. I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend this company for any of the services they provide. Thanks to all who worked on this project for a job well done.

Michael was very professional and timely in providing excellent service. When there was an issue with the pump he quickly came over to investigate abd had the pump replaced within days. He then called to follow up to make sure everything is working well. Thank you for excellent service

Grasshoppers would get more than 5 stars if I could give it to them! Amazing customer service, we have use them as our contractor for landscaping for over 15 years. They can NOT be outbid for the work they do. Clean professional and have amazing etiquette. HIGH RECOMMENDED COMPANY. Especially if you want your lawn to have a wow factor.
