My wife and I are very happy with the work done by U.V.L. We bought a new home which did not include any landscaping, the property was rough and raw. Alex from U.V.L. worked with us and his crew did an awesome job. They leveled out the property to insure proper drainage before putting in a sprinkler system, weed barriers, top soil and then sod. They also put in a few nice gardens, shrubs and other plants plus stone and a mulch path with pavers. It is hard to believe how fabulous the property now looks. I would highly recommend U.V.L. if you are looking for a great landscaper with a professional crew who do first class work look no further than U.V.L.

Top notch company. Alex is a great project manager to work with. Great attention to detail. Alex and team took almost everything out of our yard and rebuilt from the ground and mud. Very professional and easy to work with. They put in a sandbox, boulder retaining wall, flower beds, garden area, fruit trees, sprinkler system, etc. The crew frequently asked questions to make sure the job was done according to our specifications. Excellent job. I rarely write reviews but these guys deserve praise. Alex, the project manager, such a helpful guy, created a patio for us exactly as we wanted, with Belgard high quality pavers, at a very fair price, and cheaper than the other 4 contractors who bid. The instal crew worked so hard, they were precise, thorough and tidy. I definitely recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

I was looking to replace my landscape curbing after 20 years. I met with Alex and he shared an idea to use pavers for an edging. We ended up agreeing to have them do a path as well. After we saw the results we had them do another area after his recommendation as well. Alex was very helpful in making suggestions to improve the look of our yard. We couldn t be happier! Oh, and they were really quick in completing the job!

The past reviews are based on the maintenance. Its now a new ownership about 4 years ago. It is a strictly landscape and snow removal company now and very good one too. I would use Zack and his team on all my projects. Very trustworthy and honest company. The prices are fair based on the quality. He does free bids. Very good company.

If you choose to use this company be sure that you have them mark the hazards that they leave in the roadway!! They are terrible about taking accountability for their negligence. Negative

I would never use this company. Their truck was on the freeway. I was trying to get over to get off due to my pregnant daughter needing desperate assistance. When I put on my blinker the truck sped up and refused to let me over. He drove erratic and so dangerous. When I looked at him he was laughing and continued to threaten me on the freeway. I would never use this company. Completely unprofessional. Their response was ridiculous as well. No accountability. Be warned!!

We have absolutely loved our experience with Utah Valley Landscaping. They did a beautiful job on our yard. We gave them free rein on the design of our yard and we couldnt be happier with it. They even made us a really beautiful fire pit with pavers that is the highlight of our yard. Chris is the best. I would never work with anyone else again.

UV Landscaping did a great job on our not ideal backyard. All the backyards on our block made a big bowl and didn t grade the backyards to use drains that were installed. So lots of potential for flooding and puddling issues but Utah Valley Landscaping came up with a great plan and we haven t had any flooding or puddling issues this fall when we had a bunch of rain. They knocked the project out in a week. I left on vacation with a backyard of dirt, rocks, and weeds. I came home to a beautiful fully landscaped backyard. Zack was even willing to FaceTime me to make sure I liked where all the plants and trees were situated. They were very responsive to all my questions about my sprinklers system, watering times, and plants. If we ever build new construction again I will definitely have Utah valley landscaping do our backyards again.

Zach and his crew did a great job on the refit of both our front and backyard, following a pool installation. Zach also came in with a very reasonable price. We are very pleased with the project and highly recommend Utah Valley Landscaping.

Zach and his team did our entire backyard including a couple of retaining walls, irrigation s, and playground mulch for our kids. They did a great job on the install and we had an overall positive experience. Zach guarantees and is doing some fine tuning on some things for us after the fact.

Great Service! I did not check Good Value because I should be mowing myself and saving the money! I was so happy when I finally met up with Utah Valley Landscaping.They are always on time. You can always get a hold of them.Very happy with the quality of mowing and trimming. You can actually talk to the workers and they listen. That is important.

We have used Utah Valley Landscaping for 2 years now and we couldnt be happier. Unlike so many other services, they do the extra little things that make my yard look great. Their people are outstanding.

Ive always appreciated working with the folks at Utah Valley Landscaping. The only snag Ive had with them is their inconsistency. Sometimes my landscaping looks pretty good and other times it looks very neglected. They are responsive to my requests to get things cleaned up, but I would prefer having them consistently keeps the landscaping looking nice so I can completely forget about it and never have to give it a second thought.

I had another company lay bad sod. Joel came out and took care of everything and explained everything in detail. They guarantee their work also!!!

Utah Valley Landscaping has mowed my lawn for the last year and a half. They were very responsive to any issues I had and took care of those issues right away. Theyve also been able to help me with sprinkler issues which is a big plus.

The owner was responsive and professional. The prices were good, but the quality of the sod installed was garbage. We had the sod laid in the beginning of April and there are still several patches. A neighbor of mine used him as well, but his grass turned out great. But then another neighbor of mine used this company and his grass was horrible as well. Due to the grass not filling in properly after about 4 months of being laid, I am ultimately more unhappy than happy with the services I paid for. The owner did come out and have more seed laid on the grass (which has been a little over a week as of this writing) and the seed is just laying on the dirt now not setting. Lastly, we did have a rock retaining wall installed by this company, which turned out great. Ultimately, if you want quality sod do not go to the company. For other services though I think you ll be fine.

Our property has used Utah Valley Lawn Care now for nearly 10 years. We are located on University Ave. directly next to LaVell Edwards Stadium. Because of our high traffic, it is very important that lawns and landscaping always look great. They also service our snow removal and do a fantastic job. With hundreds of student vehicles we never never had an accident and the snow always is removed quickly during a storm. Its been two weeks since I called to have my lawn aerated. They said theyd come within a day or two and havent shown up yet. Each time I call, they assure me that my home is on the dispatch for today and still, my yard is untouched. Yesterday I called and expressed my frustration and they informed me that they put their commercial clients first and will hopefully make it out to my house on Friday (today). And here we are, another day they didnt show. Its clear that my business is not important to them and if you are looking for a residential lawn care service that you look elsewhere. They are far too busy taking care of their bigger and more important clientele.

I love having my hard always looking so good. I would heartily recommend using the services of UVLC for their professional, dependable service. There are many options and levels of service. You needs will be met.

This is our first year with Utah Valley lawn care. From the very beginning, when a crew cleaned all of grounds around the shrubs of our 9 units, we have been very impressed with their service. All the employees were friendly and asked if there was any thing else they could do for us. We had a small billing error and it was corrected. We would be pleased to recommend their services to any one.

Its like pulling teeth trying to get this company to do anything. They dont respond to emails, and it takes them nearly a week to respond to voicemails, if they do at all. We finally got a hold of them on the phone, and they agreed to come out a few days later to fix the sprinklers on our rental property. Wed already done a lot of work for them by finding the problem area and digging out around it. They said they would be there Friday or possibly Monday, but we didnt hear anything after that. We called multiple times, and got no answer. Finally got a hold of them on Tuesday, and the receptionist/scheduler, Sierra, told us that the sprinkler individual didnt have time and couldnt get to it either of those days. No call to let us know, no explanation, and no apology or offers to come out another day. We asked when they could come out again, and they said Friday, and the same thing happened. We rescheduled 4 different times, and they made us wait ANOTHER WEEK between each new appointment. Each time we didnt receive any sort of call or follow up afterwards, and had no idea what had happened. Because it was a rental we had to keep sending people out to see if they actually did anything. Finally, our property manager told us that the hole we dug ourselves around the sprinkler was filled, many weeks after we initially called Utah Valley Lawn Care. Still, no follow up or contact from the company at all. Two weeks later we got a very basic bill (sent to the rental property, not us), and it didnt list anything other than parts and labor, and with different rates than wed agreed upon. I dont have any proof that they did any work, or what they did. We still paid the bill because it looks like our pipe was replaced, and we were tired of dealing with them, but it was definitely not worth it. We will never use them again, and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

I did not hire these guys but Tyler was so helpful in helping me find a landscaper that would work for our project. He advised that his company would not be the best fit for our project as they were booked out but he gave me plenty of tips about the process and what the pricing should look like. He even offered to take a look at quotes we got from other landscapers to make sure we werent getting ripped off. Tyler took the time to make sure I was taken care of even though I wasnt even one of his customers! Such a nice guy. I will definitely consider and recommend these guys in the future just for their genuine customer service.

Utah Valley Lawn Care did a good job fixing the sprinklers at my apartment complex in Provo. I could not get my all my valves to turn on and their sprinkler crew was able to find the problem and fix it on the same day. Because of Utah Valley Lawn Care I wont have to drag hoses around to keep my lawn green this summer. Worth every penny.

Everything always looks great and the guys that come out are awesome. I interrupted a guy (I believe his name is Joe) twice today and he was so nice!

We had Utah Valley Lawn Care mow our lawn three different years. The prices are great. They are reliable when they show up and overall do a good mowing job. I even gave them glowing reviews to all my neighbors and Utah Valley Lawn Care now has regular customers because of it. However, the last year we used them, in 2014, things were different from the previous years. Their mowing was quite uneven with deep circles in multiple areas, they chopped off a garden riser with their mower, broke a large flower planter and regularly bumped and moved them with the riding mower, and tore an deep 8x4 inch hole into the bark of one of our young trees. I understand accidents happen, and Tyler did purchase a new flower planter for us, but what I found difficult was that when I called or emailed to inform them (with pictures) I felt really bad about it, because of how they responded. The first incident, Tyler called and gave a nice apology and let me know hell talk to his guys. But when things kept happening, instead of really apologizing and trying to make things better, they treated me like I was being a nuisance. They either wouldnt respond or they would act irritated with me. I ended up fixing the riser myself, and when they damaged my husbands prized tree (after us asking them to be more careful after hitting our planters almost every week even after breaking the first one), we decided to no longer have them do our yard service. I called Tyler, and left a message letting him know what happened and how upset we were, asking to not pay for that service due to the damage, and to cancel our service with them. (Although I was upset, I was not yelling or anything.) And that was it. We never heard from them. No apology whatsoever. Our tree still has a very large wound where it happened, and although weve done all that we can to protect the tree from the damage, we may lose the tree because of it. We paid $500 for this tree and have enjoyed five years of growth. I seriously considered having them help us this year with our yard, as I know different workers have different skills and we may have a better experience with no damage, but what made my final decision to not go with them was the way we were treated when these things happened. We became a nuisance because we approached them with the damage they continued to cause, and in the end, they seemed happy to be rid of us. =( I will post a photo of the damage.

Great Company to work with! I was having sprinkler problems in my backyard. They capped off a few heads and my back lawn has never looked better. I am also on their 6-step fertilization program which has been great!

Please dont use these guys. They are so unprofessional, dishonest and bill for work they havnt even done!!!!!!!

Called and emailed for a quote. I thought it was really strange that the quote I received only included a service I had not requested. After calling and emailing again, they got back to me the next day saying they cant take care of my landscape maintenance, they can only spray my lawn with a bunch of chemicals because they are full (no longer accepting new customers). I just think its bizarre that they can come to my area and spray 6 times a year, but they cant come help my beds. Im guessing spraying takes a little less time in their minds, but my lawn is actually much much bigger than my beds. (They quote without actually looking at the property) I asked if they could refer me to someone else and they said one other company who is also full (havent tried calling them yet but if theyre full that doesnt help me). Overall, just strange and disappointing. Wish they wouldve just said theyre not taking new customers

Do NOT work with this company!!!! I hired them to do yard work for an investment property we were getting ready to show. It was a time sensitive project as we had 8 showings scheduled & I needed the work done before the showings. I urged the time sensitivity from the beginning of our communication. I spoke to them 3 or 4 different times giving specific details of exactly what I wanted done & again stressing the tight timeline we were on. The morning they were scheduled to do the work I was impressed that they showed up ahead of schedule. (Hence the 1 star I gave them) They brought 4 men & were there for 3.5 hours. I was being charged per man by the hour. The property is 30 mins away & I wasnt able to go down before the crew left to make sure everything was done, I trusted that they did what I was paying them to do. The next afternoon AFTER our 8 showings at the property I went down to the property & was shocked at what I found. Out of the 10+ things I had given specific detail for them to do they had done 1 & that was mowing!!! I was irate! They had 4 men there for 3.5 hours and all they did was mow!! Long story short after calling multiple times & being told Im not sure what happened. I can talk to my manager & give you a call back they offered to go back and complete the work that now was not needed as the showings had already happened. I told them 3 different times not to send someone to finish the work & a week later they sent someone anyway to finish the work. Called again & conveniently the manager was out of the office & never got back to me. But they made sure to have the receptionist call me every single day to get money from me. Now im forced to pay $225.00 for 4 men spending 3.5 hrs mowing a lawn that Ive personally mowed by myself in 45 mins!!! Such a joke! Do not work with this company!!

We were looking for a reliable company with fair prices and professionals. After using multiple companies in the past we have had some pretty rough people coming to our home. Since hiring Utah Valley Lawn Care we have been very happy with their uniformed and professional staff and wont be changing companies anytime soon.
