We had hired Paulino for a project that involved upgrading our outdoor seating area from stucco to stacked stone. Because the seating area is a semi-circle, we had to make sure the stacked stone panel we chose would be good to work with due to the curve and the amount of cutting that had to be done. Paulino took the time on a few occasions to meet with me at stone places and make suggestions. Out of the 3 other companies we received quotes from, he was the only one that took the time to do this and explain how the cutting would be performed because it was meticulous work. His guys showed up on time every day, worked the full day, and cleaned up before they left. I'm a perfectionist and I couldn't be happier with the result. They did an amazing job. We also had a second project going on at the same time as the seating area. We wanted a small raised stone planter bed in our whole backyard area with a drip line and new soil. We had hired a different contractor for this job but ended up firing him after 4 days for various reasons. We had asked Paulino if he could step in and finish the job for us. Paulino was gracious enough to do so. They were able to fix various mistakes from the prior contractor and even though we had a couple tricky areas where the stone install wasn't quite right they didn't hesitate to fix it immediately. I was so happy and amazed with how they worked out the problem to my satisfaction. They were finished with this project in 5 days and again cleaned up left our backyard spotless. We have had contractors in the past for various upgrades to the house, but I have to say no one had impressed me the way Paulino and his crew did. His guys are great. They showed up on time, worked all day, and cleaned up before they left. They do outstanding work. Customer satisfaction is important to them and they want you to be happy. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with Tavera's Custom Landscape.

Folks, if you are looking for the absolute best landscaping experience as a homeowner, this is the company you want to hire. From start to finish they worked hard to make sure that our job was done on time. They even came out several Saturdays to make sure we stayed on time. My neighbors were astounded by this and now that the project is complete, everyone wants to be in our backyard. Paulino and his guys are absolutely first rate to work with and the results speak for themselves. They go above and beyond in every way.
Hired Tavera to change all softscape, build a modern trellis, re-tile our pool and other tile work in additin to a new irrigation and lighting. The owner Paulino brought samples, laid out all plants, even bringing little bags of multch options. The crew was very nice, talented and hard working. Pricing is very fair. We are super happy, would highly recommend Tavera!!!

Tavera’s Custom Landscaping did an outstanding job of transforming our front yard into a water free landscape, and his company also created a new paver parking spot, retaining wall, and paver walkway in our front yard. Paulino Tavera was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Paulino explained the process of the work that I wanted performed and was very easy to call or text with questions. He briefed me on his progress, his friendly crew worked hard and fast every day and kept their large work area very clean, and he allowed me to add additional work as the project progressed. I cannot stress how happy and content I am with the retaining wall, pavers, and rock landscaping job his company performed. The finished work has really improved my home’s appearance. I will be using Tavera’s Custom Landscaping again for future projects. 5/5 stars review. Thanks Paulino and crew. :)

Would highly recommend using Paulino for any landscaping project you have. I recently worked with Paulino to demo old concrete in our backyard and install new pavers. Paulino was very responsive and was able to come out immediately to provide a quote for a few different design concepts we had. He provide a detailed itemized quote that allowed use to assess the cost tradeoffs and stay within our budget. Additionally he had a good portfolio of projects that he was able to show us to help us visualize and finalize the redesign of our backyard. After signing the contract, Paulino immediately started the project. He and his workers were always punctual and respectful to me and neighbors. It was clear to me that they he and his crew are honest hard workers and take the time to ensure little details completed correctly. As part of the re-model they had to re-route the irrigation. They took the extra step to add a new valve for me since it would be more efficient use of water. Additionally they saw that before the project that we had some pooling of water. They ensured they leveled the pavers such that it would go to the drain. Overall I would definitely use Paulino for future projects and would to my friends and family. He is a honest and trustworthy business owner and overall quality of work was great.
I hired Taveras Landscaping to install a paver walkway with lighted steps, bricked planter areas, lighting and plantings in my front yard. Paulino was very patient with getting my ideas and pictures to become a working design. He responded to all texts and phone calls in a timely manner. His brother Erick and the rest of the crew were prompt and courteous. They cleaned up the work area each night. They finished the project on time and I couldn t be happier. We really enjoyed our experience working Paulino and the rest of the crew. They kept us abreast of what to expect throughout the entire process, and made sure that we understood everything they were going to be doing each day. They were respectful of our home, making sure to cover the driveway and other areas of our property so that there was no major damage to anything.
