Massey's bought out my account with Orange Environmental at the end of summer. Didn't receive services for two and a half months. When I called they said they'd be out in two weeks. When the tech came out he knocked on the door and explained Massey's just bought my account and he would put down weed control and winterize/pre-emerge. I watched as he did my neighbors on the left and then on the right, nothing on mine. When I got a bill of $70.00 I called and told Crystal not only have I paid for the year with Orange environmental, I never got any services. She said I was correct and said she would clear up the accounting error and would send out a tech to reapply missed service. Before the tech returned I received another bill for 70.00. Again, Crystal assured me she would fix the issue. In a few days another tech came out and applied weed control to front of yard only, and no preeminent anywhere. Today I got a condescending letter in the mail saying "Did you notice that you overlooked your account last month. It happens to all of us occasionally...". Well, it doesn't happen to me and perhaps you, MASSEY, overlooked your bookkeeping and services. I was happy to renew my annual service with Massey, but the sloppiness with which they've handled this situation prevents me from EVER wanting to do ANYTHING much less business with them. And, I still owe them $70.00 bucks.
Ask for Greg Kettlehut! Professional and respectful. He also was great with pets- mine followed him around the whole inspection. My appointment was in the afternoon, Greg called that morning to confirm with me, which was thoughtful. I’ll ask for Greg as long as we’re in Jax.
Great service from Gregg K. Very informative and patient. UPDATE: We were told that they had scheduled our appointment for Tuesday to do maintenance on our sprinklers. No one came. Then today (Wednesday 12/4) we called them and they stated that there was never an appointment made even though Gregg came 11/26 to look at our sprinklers and told us that they would do the 20 point adjustment on our sprinklers next Tuesday (12/3). We waited all this time for them to not have scheduled our appointment and now we have to wait ANOTHER week just for them to do it. This is so very unprofessional and even talking to them on the phone, they acted like we didn’t have account with them. Now we have to wait another week to even use our sprinklers. Will not be recommending them to anyone.
We have been customers for over a year now and have had great experience with Gary for all of our pest control needs! Gary is wonderful to work with!

Wonderful to meet Gregg Kettlehut today, 7/22 for my Termite Bond inspection. He was also able to give me an estimate for treatment of my front & back yard so he is an expert in a lot of areas for Massey. I appreciated his kindness and he is awesome employee to have represent Massey!

So far so good. Jarred was very thorough in explaining the services which are available from Massey. So I would say the pricing and the salesmanship was super. I look forward to the same quality service throughout the agreement. Unfortunately the service was not as great. Dropped Massey after just a few months. Mainly due to a lack of service promised. Couldnt get answers after I paid. Go figure.

I have had multiple issues with this company. They did not show up to service my lawn for two months in a row, but they still billed me for it. I had to make several phone calls about getting the charges removed and kept getting the run around from the local office and corporate office. After several months, I was finally able to get the charges removed. Then, a couple months went by and I recieved a letter from the billing department stating they would send me to collections if the bill was not paid, so I called once again. The person on the phone told me to throw the letter away because she saw the notes on my account and assured me it would be corrected on their end. Obviously, I had no faith in that, so I kept the letter and noted our conversation. That phone call was in May. Here we are in September and I just recieved a notice from a collection agency. I am beyond furious and will never recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible service! Ive called so many times without success to finish the job. Took 4 times to get someone out here. When they did get here they fixed some of the problem and said they would return. Now, I cant get anyone to answer the phone. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed. I now have zero faith in this company.

My service tech just stopped coming by house out of the blue. I called Massey and was told the office was going through a lot of changes and someone would call me back, no one did. I called back again and was assured that my service would restart, it never did. So I basically canceled my service. This was not the first or second or even the third time I have had issues with this company. They did great service on my lawn but unfortunately there customer care is awful.
Gregg is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be recommending Massey too all my friends and family.
3rd Update: I was hopeful things would improve after Brandon came out, but after he took the soil sample it was crickets. I submitted another request to Massey, which resulted in a phone call from someone who was rude and dismissive. Instead of listening and trying to troubleshoot with me, they wanted to insist that it was due to the lack of rain, even though other areas of my yard are doing well. He then assured me they would come out and do a special treatment, but I have not seen that. I have submitted another request, but Im sure that will result in another unpleasant phone call. I shouldnt have to beg people to provide the service I have already paid for in advance. Update: Brandon from Massey came out today and assessed our lawn. He provided some great feedback and has a plan in place to get things on track. He explained irrigation timing and even helped update our schedule in our irrigation system. Im looking forward to seeing improvements! Updating to 5 stars for the responsiveness and great customer service. I wish we could have gotten on the right track in the warmer months, but I think well get there now. Original: I signed up for Massey GreenUp lawn care in June of 2023, and honestly, I havent seen any improvement in my lawn. I will say that the weeds seem to have reduced, but that could be due to the cold weather. The grass itself is actually worse than when we started treatment. Its flat and we have dead spots throughout. We never have to mow because its just not growing. They were supposed to do a special treatment in the beginning to jumpstart things, but never performed that service. They were supposed to aerate, and never did that. I paid for a years worth of services, but do not plan to renew.

Lawn looks terrible, weeds and insect infestation. Made mistake of paying upfront, now no motivation to provide good customer services. Expect more and get.....nothing!!!
Massey has had our termite coverage since 1995 and has been awesome. They took care of two separate instances of termite damage and the repairs were timely and high quality! We just had our annual inspection and William did a great job!

We never know when they re coming and our backyard is locked/gate. We like most aren t always home so the miss our backyard. Our lawn never had crabgrass until now. They ve been treating for nearly a year. Promised aeration. Never happened yet. Terrible communication William is a good tech. No problem with him. Just the company and how my lawn is looking.

My Irrigation system went on the blink and needed a valve replacement. The valve could not be located locally and had to be ordered. The whole process took almost a month to receive the valve, and get it installed and get my system up and running. Massey kept me updated and even offered to come out to turn the system on to water my lawn and then come back to turn it off when finished if we did not get rain !
