Theyre scheduling, and only letting clients know the morning of service is why I will no longer be using TruGreen. Also, weeds kept appearing in the yard... thought thats what I had them to prevent, so, so long TruGreen.

Easy process to setup yearly appointments and the service was done as scheduled. Easy tracking of appointments before and afterwards too!

Scammed us always sent text messages that they completed a service when in fact they didn t show up. Luckily I had stayed home today and caught them red handed. I m going to need a full refund.

Have had problems with getting my yard properly treated for Dallas Grass. Daniel Browder is my new consultant, came to my house to evaluate my concerns and has made good on his promises to take care of my needs. He actually listens to my concerns!

Today Bradley Hughes treated my lawn. I was totally pleased with his service. Very helpful, informative and polite in helping me to understand todays treatment and my part.

The specialist showed concern about my problem. He walked my yard with me as I pointed out to him why I contact TruGreen as often as I do. He acknowledged that I do have a serious problem with broadleaf weeds. My yard was professionally cut on 7/25 and those weeds have already grown above the grass. I truly appreciate the specialist explaining what he was using to combat the problem. Hopefully after at least 10 days I will see a difference.

My yard was treated today with fertilizer. I have over 5200sqft that is suppose to be serviced. The technician only spread fertilizer down in the front. I called and canceled my service today.

The only problem is that I have a poison ivy growing at my side door step and I have not been able to point it out to the agent for it to be taken care of.

It is disgusting and disappointing. I reported this two more times and yet it happens again. The specialist came to the door, rang the bell and when noticed nobody is home, he just left a note that did the work without doing anything. I have cameras all around. This is happening repeatedly, and it seems they have no willingness or control to clean their corrupt office. This time I am going to post it to all my social media and warn people, not to deal with this company. I am also canceling all my services. We are tired of this.

Always trying to sell me another product, but cant keep it simple and win the no weeds - green grass game . 4 years and past 2 years has been terrible. Sad to see the company go down hill so fast. Back yard not treated as well as front. Side yard not as well as front. Always an issue. 4 years is long enough, I will find another company.

We signed up with TruGreen to fertilize and control weeds. Based on the lack of results, I dont think they bothered to fertilize or control weeds. I called them several times and all I got was a song and dance about why we still had weeds and the grass wasnt getting any better. i was even told it could take up to two years with their service to see results. Sounds like a lot of BS to me. The only thing positive I have to say is the lady we spoke to was very nice and she assured me the problems would be corrected. She said if we were not satisfied all we had to do was call and the situation would be corrected. I tried that but after waiting over a half hour to get an answer my complaints fell on deaf ears. Well, better results didnt happen and it doesnt appear TruGreen has the capability or desire to provide the service they are selling. I am truly disappointed by TruGreen. The only reason they got one star was because I cant post with zero. Dont fall for TruGreens advertisements. You are throwing you money away if you deal with TruGreen.

They have the most frustrating customer service I ve ever encountered. One of their team members serviced our yard meant for a neighbors yard. I ve been trying to reach them for over a week to let them know. The answering service has you on hold for hours with no answer. Today I selected the option to get a quote or sign up for a new account and I was out right though. Unfortunately, she put me through to customer service and here I am waiting again. I m just going to let me neighbor know and hopefully they have a direct line

You pay a lot of money with Trugreen up front and so far I have had them leave a note on my door stating that service could not be performed even though someone was home all day and a door bell didn t ring. They reschedule and say they are on the way and at 7pm we get a notification that service can t be performed after waiting all day. I feel like I paid a lot of money and got scammed. Just recently they charged over 200 dollars for ants and have yet to show. Biggest rip off ever.

just watch TruGreen on my camera just bill me for a job that wasnt done.

We have used TruGreen for a year now and my lawn looks worse now than it did before. We even had an instance where my husband was home and watched the worker only do HALF our yard and leave. I was also told when i signed up we would receive treatments on dead spots of grass and that never happened, canceled mine today.

I was home and saw the technician only treat a small part of my back yard. Our lawn has increasing amounts of weeds and does not look healthy. Their service is not as good as it used to be-at our prior residence (3 years ago) they did a great job and our lawn looked very healthy. Not sure what has changed.

Been using these guys for several months now. My front yard looks great, but my backyard speaks differently. My back yard is not being treated as yellow nutsedge is taking over. Had Truegreen been treating my backyard in previous schedules, than I might just have some randoms here and there like my front yard. Called their call center today and they wanted to wait 15 days, but I pushed them as I know for a fact the backyard is not being sprayed. They will come out in 3 days. Ill give yawl one more try, but if this keeps up Im going with southern lawn!

This company is a Big rip off. They are unreliable and don t do what they are paid to do. I paid for weed control and ended up having to do my own because they weren t doing it. When they would show up they would spend less than 5 mins spraying. Of course nothing was happening, my yard was just filling up with weeds. That s when I decided to just do my own which I wished I had done to begin with and saved my money and not paid them to do nothing. They ll schedule appointments and not show up. It doesn t matter if you call and talk to someone about it, it goes nowhere. I would advice anyone, when looking for lawn service DO NOT choose Trugreen!! I tried to give them a chance but they still have disappointed time after time. These ratings really do mean something..beware!!

Very good company

Dude just sat at the end of my driveway for 45 minutes and never got out of the truck. Then we get a message saying our yard service was completed. This is pure fraud.

I believe plants were damaged by inattention to their work. My garden was left open twice which ended in my dog getting outside of the yard. Felt in the beginning several years ago service was better but declined in the last few years. Too busy listening to their phones or music or something while they are working.

This business lost my trust, so I canceled my service. For the past two supposed applications, I ve had no evidence that anyone even came to my property. The specialist twice wrote in his digital service summaries that he knocked on my door, but I know that s not true because I would ve seen it on my doorbell camera. On top of that, the last text message saying my service was complete came only four minutes after the text letting me know the specialist arrived. You can t even walk the length of our front and back yards in that short a time, let alone apply treatment properly. Plus, I noticed no reduction in weeds.

I am giving 4 stars because my yard looks just like it did last year when they first started coming. They get 4 stars because of the customer service I received when I complained. Ive had several concerns that I complained about but when talking to management they always make me feel they are listening and will correct the problem. Problem #1. Workers were going to wrong home providing services( I have a camera surrounding entire house and inside, so I see everything). Problem #2. 2 different services being performed same day( not acceptable to me). Performing services when my yard was flooding and all my fertilizer going to neighbor yard, but through it all they would call and try to fix my concerns and even explaining the reasoning for treatments during storms and floods( didnt make sense though). If my yard looks good by spring/summer will give them 5 stars. They do try.

I have cameras at my house. I have called a total of 4 times about them not treating my entire lawn and on occasion not treating anything at all but saying they did. Everytime they send out a free service call..which does the same thing all over again.

Been a pre paid full year customer since 2013 i have no idea what happened or change in the last 18 month, something major did because they are absolutely terrible now. I had to call every month for re sprays and they would skip whole areas of my yard. Its a shame. They used to be great you could call and get the local office and the actual sprayed stuff that killed weeds.... now My yard is full of weeds. I dont know who to use, ive always used them. I even bought their service as a gift for my sister they have sprayed 3 times and her yard is full of broad leaf weeds... i mean i could buy from lowes 2-4d and it would kill these weeds and tru green cant? Terrible. Id post pics if google would allow it or i knew how.

My grass looks worse than it did when they started. I paid for a years service. Kill the weeds get rid of goosegrass.....I still have both. I have more than what I started with not to mention several dead spots that looked great before hand. You have to CALL to cancel. You cant stop them from coming and billing you any other way. Just pass it isnt worth it!

This has been very frustrating trying to talk with someone to handle a problem. Apparently everything gets funneled to a corporate or answering service. The best I could do was schedule a day, but not even AM or PM, so now I have other appt hanging

I just canceled my service with them... theyre terrible and i can do better than them myself... called to get my yard resprayed and the lady i talked to had an attitude.. she almost got herself cursed out. Go to lowes and do it yourself..

They do not do what they say they will. I reported a problem with my yard, they sent someone out. According to the ticket he left he spent 4 minutes surveying my yard and determined that I needed top soil. I called to complain and they said they would send someone out to fertilize my yard the following week, that was two weeks ago and still no one. They were scheduled to do my regular yard spraying yesterday but didn t show!

I used True Green for the past three years on a brand new sodded lawn. First year was fine but after that I noticed lots of weeds and unhealthy grass. Called and scheduled agent to come assess the lawn but no one showed up at the scheduled time. I spread a bag of fertilizer on the lawn a couple of weeks ago and the lawn looks 100% better but still has weeds throughout. I would NEVER suggest anyone use the company for lawn care. Not sure what or how much fertilizer/weed killer was being applied, if any, but it DID NOT work.

I will not support this business. They are very unprofessional and rude.

Had TruGreen service for 3 years, great service, amazing results. The last year however new tech took over my account and everything went down hill. Had service done with absolutely no results, called customer service and asked to send out a tech to redo my lawn because the last application showed Zero results. Tech showed up, I came out said hello and asked if he would please do a good job to make sure to get rid of weeks that we re visiable. I came out 10 minutes later with a water to give the tech and he was gone already!! I was very upset that he didn t even spray the back yard which I pay for them to cover the entire lawn. Left a bill with no explanation. Called and cancelled service immediately and will never use them again. Sad that service went down hill so quickly.

Been with these guys 7 years. No problems. But suddenly in the past 6 months service has gone down the drain. Our yard which used to be pristine is now overrun with weeds almost to the point where it looks like we have no weed care at all! Terrible, pathetic work of late. Taking our business elsewhere.

Bought a years contract on 2/18 and prepaid, when they treated yard in 1/19 with no notification they would be coming, sent me a bill for $67 even though it was in the years timeline! Notified them I wasnt renewing service! Will be telling everyone I know and on social media NOT TO USE and will be writing to President of the Company . Never stayed very long at the house, would come sometimes and not let me know they were there and sometimes not even leave any paperwork regarding what was done. I have a dog , I dont want him going out if they just treated the lawn! Am looking for another company!

Very pleased with my first service from TruGreen Lawn Care. I live in a very rural area, with a very large yard. I had no idea TruGreen would even travel to my area, but they did, and Im thrilled with the results! Weeds are dying and grass is already looking better! My technician, Brian, was friendly, informative and professional. Highly recommend!

First year of using TruGreen. I was skeptical at first to pay money for someone to spray the lawn. However, the results have been phenomenal! Once we have the Virginia Button Weed eliminated, I will add another star. :) If the service and results continue, I will be renewing my contract for next year.

Two years of service with these guys. They cannot control the weeds and have killed half my yard with the most recent application. Very dissatisfied with this group. I have complained multiple times but no results. Going elsewhere!

The company has a horrendous customer service model or lack thereof. The company thoroughly negated to contact a customer when a complaint is filed, there is no followup regarding any concerns or issues. I have even engaged the company at a corporate level, but could not get a response from a president, vice president or anyone. It has been over three weeks that I have been waiting for a phone call and TruGreen blatantly disregarded any form of communication with me and to be equally pragmatic - they had the audacity to withdraw money out of my account for a service that has never been performed. A technician showed up to my home for 12 seconds and drove off and said that back gate was locked. How in the hell would the back gate be locked if you are supposed to service the front yard!

I was scheduled a service from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. I was wait to 6:00 pm and still didn t see anybody coming.

I would recommend that no one has service with Truegreen, I told them up front I have cameras and they should make sure they perform the service Im paying for. 3 times now they show up and sit in the truck and leave and say they performed the service, or they do one side and leave. Either way they have never one time completed the entire yard. I told them how can you expect me to trust you if your people dont do their job. From what I have gathered this must be the direction from the management because 3 different employees did the exact same thing. Beware beware.

Im a Soldier and needed them to take care of my yard due to me being gone quite often. They almost killed a brand new yard full of sod. I prepaid for a year in advance and started complaining about halfway thru the contract. They were only fertilizing about half my yard and when called out on it, the tech came out and was rude to my wife (I wasnt home) and said he wasnt going to do it again. They called regularly (biweekly) to try to sell more products regardless of how unhappy I was. When I tried to cancel the service they told me they werent giving a refund. I would recommend a $60 bag of weed and feed every two months over this company who could care less about bad service and product. To think I was trusting them while I was away. How many times did they come and do nothing claim they did something. Oh my sod is fill of weeds and outgrowing the grass now.

We have been with TrueGreen of Opelika for over 12 years at this location. We have had decent service over the years until now. Last year we started noticing a lot of weeds in our back yard. Now the weeds are taking over our front yard even though we have had continued service from this provider. We have requested them to retreat a few times but it does not seem to help. We are looking for a new company.

This is the worst company I have ever paid to get scammed out of money!!! They were charging me to do front and back yard. They put on the receipt that they had done the back yard but security cameras dont lie! I complained multiple times and the call center just beats around the bush you can never get in contact with the same person! They lie and taken my money by deception! Worst business. Now not all are the same the Columbus trugreen I have heard is good bUT this one sucks

I have been a Trugreen customer since 2012 and have never had a problem until this year. Ever since they were bought out in our area, our service has been horrible! 1) I had to ask our guy to treat our weeds. That is one of the reasons we use them. 2) They raised the price of our plan, but adjusted it to $2 over what we used to pay. 3) They raised it for this last pay period with no warning. I called and they lowered again, but when I called today to find out why it was still listed at the incorrect price, I was told that I would have to pay that amount. Also, that I was getting my quoted price ONLY for the next 2 treatments. THE KICKER... we noticed that we had army worms in our backyard yesterday afternoon. We called, had the runaround and were told that a ticket was being put in. 4) Today, Friday, August 31st I called to see when they would be coming by. I was told that they could come either Wednesday or Thursday of next week to treat the army worms. Seriously? By then our complete yard will be destroyed and so will our 2 neighbors yards. When this was a private business, they would have sent someone out the same day. All I have to say is steer clear of this company and find one that cares about their customers and does their job!

I am switching. Service is lacking.
