From yellow thin grass not growing to dark green what a change now they follow up to take care of bare spots.
Beware when you add a service just for one service. I wanted aeration and seeding done for 1 season. They came back the following year and did it again and hit me with a huge bill. Called true green and talk to one of their people and they said they should have explained that once you add something to your service they continue on until canceled. They agreed to remove it and then they never did. Called again and now they have no record of the phone call, interesting. Never will use this company again . This isn't the first time they got me. I gave them a second chance on something else before and they keep messing up.
Had one of their drivers named Adam side swipe my mirror up in front of the Sapp Brothers travel center near their shop. I was super cool to the guy and we exchanged information. I explained it to him that it was all good. I said it could've been worse and nobody got hurt. The following week I spoke with the lady handling our claim. She tells me that Adam claimed I admitted fault to the accident when he was the one who hit me. Just a flat out LIE! These are the type of people working for this company!

I've been very happy with TruGreen. Service has been excellent - very reliable. I've seen a huge difference in my lawn - no creeping charlie - and on my trees - no blight whatsoever. Price point is very competitive, too. All-in-all a great experience.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I want everyone to know what a positive experience I have had with TruGreen. My lawn went from disaster to enviable in the first year alone. Their communication is excellent, calling me the day before my service is to be performed, and texting me the day of my service to keep me updated about the service provider’s arrival. The customer service reps have been so knowledgeable and helpful when I call. The young men that come out have always been super respectful and hard working, happy to do any extra spraying I request. It has been money very well spent. 10 out of 10 I would recommend it.
I had a local company that serviced my lawn, but they sold out to TruGreen, so I kept them. My lawn went downhill from the first year and sadly I continued with them until last year. In the spring of 2022, their rep came out and serviced the lawn, but they never mentioned grub control. After the lawn died, I complained, so they sent out the same clown and he blamed the problem on the grubs. When I asked him why I didn't get grub control, he smartly said because I didn't ask for it. They are supposed to be the lawn experts. However, the yard started to turn green after the second treatment, but they were all weeds. I complained and they sent the same nitwit out to service the yard, but the weeds flourished. I sent them an email canceling my service and demanded a refund. Their response was they do not give refunds, but they offered to send out another service representative to apply another treatment. Since I already had the healthiest weeds in town, I declined. A few days later, a TruGreen truck arrived to treat the lawn, so I went out and met him before he applied another batch of weed feed, and I showed him the lawn. This has to be the worst company on earth. I went with a local company and my lawn is finally starting to look better.
The worse my lawn has ever looked. My representative was great and responsive but the yard care itself it terrible. I have more crabgrass that I started taking care of myself. Other weeds are and have always been around. I call they send someone out for spot control. And still have weeds after the 7-21 business days

Switched to TruGreen this year after having been with a local company for several years. The local company would not honor the yearly pre-pay discount even though I was only two weeks late. Over the last several years I had paid them nearly $14k in fees for applications, and sprinkler work on my small acreage. Not only did TruGreen beat the previous companiy s yearly price, but their technicians are so much nicer. Every time they do something someone comes to my door and knocks and asks me if I have any questions. They don t just stick a piece or paper in the door!! So glad I switched to TruGreen and hope to be a customer for a very long time!!

Warning: These folks will over sell you and send the people out for more appointments than agreed upon, then keep billing you. Caught them billing me for not even doing anything. Still had weeds. When they did come they burned big spots in the yard with their hoses leaking. Avoid them at all cost.

Poor communication between the people of tureen, and poor communication between tureen and this former customer. Couldn t follow asks by the customer. Some of the hired help couldn t even finish the jobs. Not a company I would recommend to anyone for service.

HORRIBLE experience. Met with Rhett in May to discuss landscaping and yard maintenance. Said he d be in touch. Didn t hear back for 2 weeks when I reached out he stated he was waiting for a subcontractor s quote. I decline their service since it was such a delay but that I would like TG service for weekly mows and treatment for sack worms/ bag worms. Rhett said he d get me those numbers. I have not received anything. Very unprofessional & NOT what I expected. They send out flyers advertising their business, but don t want the business.
After a week of Dedrick coming out to spray our burning bushes, now it appears that the leaves are curly up. It appears TruGreen sprayed the wrong kind of chemicals on our burning bushes.

I liked that Diedrick S seemed very knowledgeable and was pleasant to visit with about my concerns for my trees.
I paid in full for services and they continued to take money put of my card. I had to cancel my card to stop charges.Everytime I tried to get ahold of someine I was connected to a call service that could not help me. I put in numerous notices for a supervisor to call and after 1.5 months still have not heard from one. The one they keep transferring me to no longer works there and wont ring anyone else except back to the customer service call center. I worked with Mr. Wilhite in Omaha and he reassured me of everything and now having this issue. One of the applications of fertilizer I was notified they measured the yard wrong. Cant get a hold of anyone local and get refunded for the transactions. Very frustrating. I heard stories like this but I tried the service anyway and found out what others told me about overcharging is true. Dont Use Tru Green.
Any business reputation is built upon its people. The true green part of the name implies how your lawn will look and the care is the people....whether its the phone reps or the technician applying the product. Of course, the people you dont see are part of the total product that at the end of the day stands for TruGreen. In todays world service is the backbone of this business.
I am amending my review because of recent problems with Trugreen. The review under this one is still true, but now I have a huge complaint. I cancelled my service before the April service, then without warning, message, or call Trugreen decided to come and do work in June then charge me, stealing my money. I will never use true green services again, ever. If I cancel my service, I expect it to be cancelled without being questioned or pushed to keep my service. I would like my account deleted, but I cant seem to delete my account. I had to cancel my credit cards on file and get new cards because Trugreen decides they will steal my money anytime they want to. If you want a service you can never cancel, where they argue with you about canceling, then refuse to cancel your service, then this is the service for you. Precious post from last year: Chris Larsen was professional and answered my questions. I asked him when they would be aerating and overseeding. He was honest and told me he did not know because another crew did that work. He was kind to talk with me and answer my questions. There was another gentleman with him, I forgot his name because it was not on the ticket. He was training. But he was professional and easy to talk with also. We will see if their products work, but for now I am happy with the professionalism. Also on another note, I contacted TruGreen via their chat service to ask about the aeration and overseeding. They told me it would be done in the fall because that was the best time. I am a little disappointed, but I understand. I asked them about putting seed on the bare spots. They advised me to wait 6 weeks because the yard was just treated for weed control and would stop the seed from germinating. I am glad they informed me. Customer service was professional and answered my questions quickly.

At the beginning of the season, its hard to tell about the crabgrass. Last year Tru Green was unable to control the crabgrass. We got a 2 month head start this year. They have most inconsiderate drivers on the road. There is no way I would ever call this company due to the type of people/drivers they hire. Train your employees to be and act respectful, especially when driving the company truck.

TruGreen used to be disorganized, you couldnt get ahold of anyone to discuss anything, but they are now completely organized and very easy to contact locally or via a very good app on my phone. BIG IMPROVEMENT! Everything is great, very thorough. Workers are very polite and diligent! Billing and Receivables dept is kind of messed up and difficult to contact.

I have always had good service with TruGreen. I really like the app that shows where they are because I have dogs and this allows me to open the gates and secure the dogs. Very helpful and my lawn looks great.

Absolute joke of a company. If I could do 0 stars I would. Should have listened when multiple residents in Papillion said to avoid this company like the plague. Called multiple times to cancel this past summer and they kept charging us for services we never received. Automatically we took our payment info out. We just got a bill for collections for October and they haven t even been out since early summer last year. Since it was in collections our options per their customer service was pay it or be dinged and owe more and got hung up on. When attempting to call back we were transferred to management and hung up on again. Super glad I have to pay money for services we never received and get my credit dinged.
I called over 4 times to cancel service, the customer service does not talk to each other and has no idea what they are doing. Its not worth the trouble. I still am not convinced that its been canceled.

UPDATE: Dont believe their fake reply below. The GM lied on our account and cancelled the service saying we requested it, which we didnt, because of this review and complaining that 3 techs refused to do the work they said. He also indicated that our contracts are not binding on either side, so if anyone needs help getting out of their contract if we can help you we will. And be aware, I know at least one of the 5 star reviews are from their employee. So they seem to be trying to clean these up, but they do not care about actual clients. Its all fake to get your money, not do the work, and then fire you when you complain. They now say that instead of 5,074 sq feet they did 1,600. A big difference, but that 1,600 is their estimate and seems pretty high to me. Just RUN from this company. You should see how bad our yard looks as well. They were hired to do our lawn and the ditch outside of our gate. 3 times techs ignored their work orders and said they couldnt do it. 3 times the office told us of course they could. Tyler Ross lied on the paperwork and stated that 5000 sq feet was done. At most it was 1000 sq feet. They seem not to care at all. So if you use them make sure you have cameras and check their work. The GM, Mike, basically told me that its hard to estimate sq feet. Which is silly. Its pretty easy espeically on a straight area like the ditch. It did get sprayed the 4th time. But its not been a good experience. And they also like to tell you that theyre busy as if thats our problem. Just spray the quoted area. The 4th tech was great. His name was Sofian. No issues and high praise for him. He was easy going, friendly, and willing to do the work. And Ive already emailed the reviews email. I had asked for updated paperwork and that was ignored. I had asked for someone higher than MIke to call and was told that corparate will probably just send it back to him anyways. And yet, didnt hear back from anyone. Its just mindblowing how much they dont care about service or doing the work that was already paid for. And the fact that you cant trust them is scary. The job was eventually done, but we are worried itll continue to be a fight to get what we paid for going forward.

I have huge problem areas and needed a tech to come create a game plan for my yard. 5 people later I still was unable to have an assessment. They did however apply a treatment that was not authorized and left my gate open which my dogs got out later that day! I would not recommend, it was a headache.

Horrible experience!!! Tech came out this past Friday and on my statement stated that there was no visible weeds when clearly there is such as dandelions clovers and creeping Charlie us. I contacted customer service today. They have no idea what they re doing. Couldn t find my account then said I have a debt on my account. Mind you this is my first time using this business, and Friday was my last time as well canceled my account and will go somewhere else. Do not recommend them at all, very unprofessional. *update* woke up this morning with a 130 dollar charge for who knows what. Not happy at all. Be careful with this company! Called emailed nothing
This company calls me repeatedly every single day for a collection of a person not at my number. I have informed them repeatedly they have a wrong number. They have told me repeatedly that my number will be removed yet the calls come at least twice a day for weeks now.

We had a different company that only came out once to do our yard in April and never came back, so our yard is in bad shape. We canceled the service with the first company and call TRUGREEN and they were out in three days. The weeds are out of control. I spoke to the nice specialist when he was here and he seems to know what he needs to do to get our yard back to weed free and get our grass green again.

My lawn was in beautiful shape when I started the True Green last year. This is what it looks like this year. There is crabgrass everywhere, dead patches of grass. and some sort of Creeping Bentgrass taking over the yard too. I called True Green and they sent out a specialist to take care of it. Nothing has changed in the lawns appearance.
My lawn was covered in weeds and a patch of a strange growth that no one knew what it was. Tru green assured us that their weed killer would kill it all. It didnt. We have spent more than 100 hours pulling and digging out the growth, re planting and pulling crab grass and other weeds. Nope no dandelions but what we said we wanted gone is still there. We have no switched to spraying our lawns ourselves with spray from mindards. $700 later finally we are seeing the weeds dying and yes some new grass is dying too but clearly what they have going on is not for our needs and instead of aaying it, the $1000 is far more important. And dsspite my complaints I cannot get refunded for what they did that didnt work. Go figure.

TruGreen went above and beyond on our lawn to make sure we were satisfied with their service. We had a tech here to do a fall service and he noticed some brown patches in our yard so he suggested that we call the office and have a grub treatment done. I called the office and they reminded me that they had done that treatment at an earlier date. The said they will come out and do another treatment at no charge. So when they showed up to do our yard, it was towards the end of the day and he was almost out of the chemical they use for grubs, so he just hit the brown patches. Then about a week or two later, we had our lawn aerated and re-seeded. We noticed a few areas that were tore up a bit after they aerated but didnt say anything. I figured I would water it every day and eventually it would look good once the seed takes ahold and the dirt clods dissolve into the lawn. But then, we decided to call the office to see if they can come back to do the grub service on the whole yard rather than the few patches. And they came out for free to re-do the grub service and that person noticed the tore up spots in our yard from the aeration and he called his office and told them that they need to come out and re-aerate the front yard. My wife and I did not make any complaints. They came out again and re-aerated and re-seeded the front yard at no charge. So thank you TruGreen for really caring about your customers.

Wouldn t recommend. Didn t do much for my lawn. Any phone calls upset weren t handled correctly and when you prepay you can t cancel without it being a huge hassle to them and you!! Also everytime you call and try to cancel they push you to stay with discount after discount!! If your product isn t working why would I pay any amount. Tried to make sure they don t auto renew me or come again and I have to wait and call after the last service is done. It s a horrible greedy company

True green apparently could not find our address so instead of calling us to ask for directions they just CHANGED our address in their system and did their services at someone elses house. We called multiple times, gave directions and they still went to the wrong house. They did not make it right, offered us a 20% discount for future services. So we paid and didnt receive all of our services. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
Witnessed a young new tech being trained by a another gentleman the day they came to our yard. They were very thorough and did a great job with the application to our trees and shrubs.
Do not give this company your information! I didnt even get to the point of hiring them, just had filled out some information online about inquiring about pricing and in the 3 hours that followed they contacted me 5 times. I could not answer because I was on business calls, but blocked their number due to the distraction. They then proceeded to contact me 6 more times from other numbers. I did finally answer and ask them to stop contacting me. This was over the course of the last two days, and I am still getting unsolicited calls from them. I appreciate responsiveness from a company, but this is borderline harassment IMO.
Beware of TRUEGREEN, I was lied to from day one with them. The young man who came and sold me my plan and assured me that I could contact him with any concerns. He would be my contact for any needs, I had an incident and when I contacted him he directed me to a 1-800 number only for my issue to never get resolved. Customer service was garbage, my yard has not improved at all. I figured whatever I already paid in advance so why not just end the year with them. Turns out they automatically renew your contract without any heads up of anything. Now I am being forced to pay a bill that I did not approve a service for. The representative on the phone argued with me about this. Saying someone called and I didnt answer, I just so happen to be busy with the loss of a family member and when I saw they called I assumed it was to renew and I did not want to deal with them at that moment.
It wouldnt let me go forward without selecting a star, I wanted to give a zero. Signed up last May for full service not realizing it was the fool service they were selling. Sales person quoted wait till you see your lawn next spring. I could hardly wait to see the improvement. However I didnt know he meant it would be worse than when we initially signed. Trying to get a hold of a service manager is next to impossible. Two weeks(probably 6 calls) going through service reps who say they will refer to manager and they will get back to us. No response so today I drove to the Trugreen office and had the pleasure of speaking with Erin who was worthless. The service reps apologize for the issues but are only pushing the messages on to people who dont have the courtesy to return the call even if its to tell you we dont care. Very frustrating experience to say the least.

Moved into my home in Feb of 2021. The yard was in very poor shape and being a first time homeowner I had no idea how to care for it myself. TruGreen has done an amazing job putting grass where I never had it before and eliminating all the weeds. Thank you TruGreen.
Came out sprayed lawn ended up with multiple burned areas throughout the yard. You can actually see where the tech walked and the spray pattern. We just planted new grass in our back yard and alot of it is now been killed. Most of the grass tips are now brown (burnt) and probably will not grow. Customer service is a joke, local numbers transfer you to the national call center, which is B.S. Still waiting on a supervisor to contact me..WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. It was a better company when ot was Stryk Turf....
Killed our tree in the back last year, hired them to get rid of the spiders in my yard, paid for a full pest control service. The guy came here and used his duster to get the webs and then left. This company is a joke, spend your money on people who care
I wish I could give the company 0 stars. I was recommended by a friend who has used TruGreen in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for years but the company in Omaha is horrible. I received a phantom application. I was scheduled for a treatment on Wednesday and they never showed up. ( I work from home and knew they never showed. I also had no flag or paperwork left). When I called the customer service lady said it showed in the computer that I received a treatment and not only did I receive a treatment but it was noted that I had bugs in my yard. I then proceeded to get called by Tanner to follow up on my bug problem 3 times! Each time I told him, that I didnt have bugs because I NEVER had anyone show for the treatment. The 3rd time Tanner called and he realized who he had called for the 3rd time, he hung up on me. I then called customer service to try and get this all resolved, she put me on hold, we got disconnected and she never called me back. When I called back and asked for her, I asked her why she did not call me back and she said, another call came in. Well that told me they really did not care about me or making things right so I cancelled the rest of my service for the year. There are lots of lawn services, so people dont waste your time with a company that is rude and honestly a bit shady.

I signed up for the pest control in July due to finding a ticks on my pup. After signing up they came out to perform the service less than a week later which I was happy about. The young lady came and sprayed and thought everything was great until later that night I let my dogs out and my husband and I were sitting outside and next thing we know the dogs were in front running around. She don t shut the gate after performing the service. I called the next day and they didn t seem to care much. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said we are all human we all make mistakes. Then when they were scheduled to come back I received a notification the day before that they would be out to spray the next day so I called and asked to please leave a note on my account to make sure to close the gate after performing the service the lady that took the phone call was making me feel like she really didn t care however she said she put the note on my account (I don t think I should have had to make that request I felt it s common sense to close the gate boy was I wrong) Same lady came out the next day to perform the service I had to work so I told my son and husband to please check the gate after she leaves to make sure it was closed. Well guess what??? Yep you re right the gate was wide open. So I callEd them to cancel my service they asked me why I was canceling I explained the situation no apologies nothing. I was put on hold for a while I finally had to hang up since I was at work. I called back later to make sure my account was canceled she said yes then 30 minutes she comes back to the phone and says I have a balance for the service performed that day. I was like I requested something from your company with non compliance and now you want something from me. I told her I wanted to speak with a manager and she said she would leave a message for someone to contact me a few days later a lady called me and that s when I got my first apology and she said she would pass the message along and it would be brought up in the technician meeting. And that was that. My mother has had horrible experiences with TruGreen but I still gave them a chance anyways. Well that s what I get for not listening to my momma.
I have been a customer since May 2022 I wanted a greener yard and no weeds, well here it is Sept and my grass is yellow and more weeds than before. I contacted customer support and was to they would send someone out for a free service. They also refunded me for 1 of my services unfortunately no one showed up to do the free service. I called back and asked for a full refund and was told they dont give refunds but will give me a service free well since they didnt come the first time I said I just wanted all my money back. I was told no refunds. This is a terrible company with bad customer service and I will be not only telling everyone I know to not use them and postin on Facebook but Im thinking about contacting the BBB. This is no way to do business.
I was scheduled last year for aeration.I paid 209.00. after they rescheduled 2x, I finally had to cancel because our sprinkler system was winterized. I was told they would hold on to my $ and I should call in the spring. I did...was told they do not aerate in the spring, to call back in August AND they still had my $..I asked. I called back in August..they said yes, my appointment was September 26th and it was paid for. So. I put out flags last night and guess what? No True Green! I call and they say No, you have no appointment scheduled with us and they refunded my $!! I asked to speak to a manager and was told no!! I did get my $ back, but a runaround for months and months! I am so disappointed in this company and will NEVER work (or try) to work with them again!
Fertilized my lawn, I watered it lightly for 3 days as instructed, but my lawn has dead tracks on it . Looks like it was dumped in areas. Will not use them next year. Was happier when Scotts owned it.
The worst business in the area. Pre-paid for a service they scheduled and never showed up for. Talked to 5 different people and each one had a different response to when the service would be done.
It is in my account to ensure my gate gets closed for the backyard. the 2 past times I called and indicated that is listed in my account to ensure the gate gets closed I have dogs and a licensed daycare. Yesterday the guy came walked out of the back yard and just slammed the gate behind him. I have it on camera. Needless to say I called the 800 number and fired them and their service 3 times the limit. If the technician has problems closing the gate should have called his manager and they call me and indicate they couldnt get the gate close for whatever reasons. Customer service and attention to these little details makes or breaks a company. I have a dog that is a runner I have a gps tracker on her but I live between to busy streets and although I would be able to find her by the time I did she probably would have been hit by the car and chances are the tracker would probably be damaged. So once again I just fired true green for poor customer attention to what needs to be done.

TruGreen is my fav! My lawn is plush since having their services. If you re like me, & just don t know what a lawn needs, or don t have a care, hire them! They ll take care of it, year-round. I feel the price is reasonable & fair. $300/year which breaks down to $25/month. They always call before coming & leave a note summarizing what they did. I like them, I think we ll keep them around.
Poor, poor service. Cancelled them twice last year due to no shows and lying about servicing backyard that they could not get into because the fence was locked. Yesterday, they said they came and did first treatment for the year and billed us, but guess what. We have a camera that faces the yard and no one performed treatment. I tried calling last night and I was on hold for one hour before hanging up. Called this morning and was told I had a 2-2 1/2 hour wait to talk to anyone! Went to live chat and requested to speak to rep. I was told there are 116 people in front of me!

UPDATE - I havent been contacted, but they did send another tech to come out and do extra spraying for weeds and worked on my back area. Still wish I was contacted, but the tech (Patrick P) was super nice and went and gave me some insights Very poor service. Poor quality fertilizer job as they didnt hit the back 800 Square feet of my yard. I have made 4 phone calls to the company this past week (4 hour hold times) and did not receive a phone call back when putting my phone number in the system. Contacted their chat team and the colleague Marissa ended the conversation without a response. I have sent two emails to their Customer Service Team with no response. Just terrible service overall. Poor quality product and terrible follow up on their customer service.
My front and back yard is full of weeds, tried to contact them, but been on hold for hours, had to hang up the phone. Impossible to reach them after they get their money upfront for the season. Bad service, bad management, unresponsive.
By far the customer service of this company is the worst I have ever seen. I have never called into a company and the wait was 1-2 hours. Their CS is worse than the dandelion field which is my yard. I am going to put up a sign in my yard that states this lawn is service by TruGreen, so everyone knows that with every service call you get a dandelion. They tell you to go online if you dont want to wait and that is because they can blow you off online.

My recently laid lawn was in bad shape after a tornado came through Bellevue and put us in temporary housing far from home. The summer sun, lack of watering and construction materials & equipment left the yard in a sorry state. Insurance didnt cover lawn damage and I was fairly certain I was going to have to re-sod the yard. But, I decided to give TruGreen a crack at it first. They showed up regularly to weed & feed, seed, suppress mosquitoes and aerate through the rest of that season and into the next season. And, to my surprise and relief, the yard recovered. You cant tell that the yard nearly died and I didnt use any sod to recover.
Salesman came to our door. I wanted to know what was in their grub control. He did not know and just said it was natural and that no one knew what was in it. He even said since I was so smart I should know what was in it. I went inside. Then he came back a few minutes later trying to sell to my husband. I had to repeatedly tell him to leave. It was not a pretty scene At first he seemed nice but didn t end up that way.
I have 0 complaints. TruGreen (and Scotts before that) has been caring for my 2+ acres of lawn for several years now. It is a very expensive investment as you can imagine, but considering the payoff in my lawn and tree care, I am a very happy customer. And, in reality, the cost is very reasonable...it just seems like a lot, but I have a LOT of acreage in grass! The improvement over the years in the condition of my lawn (which was a huge weed patch) and my trees (in which I have invested so much!) has made a very visible difference. Everyone notices. Especially my crabs which line my driveway. They now look spectacular...loaded with blossoms that actually stay on for several days! And all the yellow leaf droppage has stopped. And my Heritage Elms are looking so much healthier! I actually feel like I could invest in buying a few more trees now. Just wanted to update my post to say I am still very happy with TruGreen. Its been a great investment in the appearance of my property. Everyone says it looks like a golf course! Well, not really, but I do appreciate the comments when they happen! Now I need to call them about my spruces. Just noticed the tops of a few of them are dead! I cannot afford to lose them!
Absolutely Ridiculous! TruGreen fumigated all of our vegetables that we started from seed & will not even return my phone calls. We saw the TruGreen truck pull up in our driveway thanks to a camera alarm. We do not have a contract with them so when the guy began unrolling his hose I called the local #. After reaching someone several states away I was told that they wouldnt be able to figure out who was at our house. We had a large container of tomatoes, peppers, & eggplants getting ready to be planted sitting next to the lawn. I watched live as the guy walked by & doused them with spray. Here we are 30 hours after I called TruGreen twice & no one has even returned my phone call. After dumping 40+ gallons of chemicals on my yard...it would be nice to hear back from someone.
They wont stop harassing me. I get calls 5 out of 7 days a week . Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day even after 7 pm. At least one letter a week. Ive told them over 20 times on the phone that I am not interested in using their service again . They dont want to take no for an answer. I dont enjoy leaving negative reviews but Im so tired of this. What do I have to do to stop this? Change my phone number. Get the BBB involved or the police. Harassment .....
Would never do business with this place! They mistakenly applied pre-emergent to my lawn. When I mentioned this to the driver/applicator, he merely shrugged his head and walked back to his truck. While I called his dispatcher, I was put on a 35 minute hold!! Their customer service sucks.
Absolutely the worst! Ive been waiting over two weeks for someone to even return my phone call. You will never be able to get ahold of anyone locally or even get simple questions answered. I would not recommend TruGreen to my worst enemy.
I met with the technician, Calvin, and was very impressed. Calvin did an excellent job treating my lawn. And a sign (flag) was place in my lawn to let everyone know the lawn had been treated. Excellent job!!!
Got 1 fertilizing treatment them could never get them to come back out again despite numerous texts and calls. Pretty sure its because we wouldnt pay for all the add on we were constantly called about.
Trugreen started treating my yard a couple of months ago and since then I have got about 5 times as many weeds as when they started but part of that is because the moles have destroyed my back yard since then which they started treating for at the same time i had to hire a pest controls service since then. Also they have been treating my trees for over a year now and one started to die a few month ago and they were going to send some one out to see why so I knew what to do and keep it from spreading to the other pine trees but that was two months ago and nothing yet . But I cant talk to them unless I meet them at the house in the middle of the day.
TrueGreen product is disappointing. After two application of weed control I continued to get weeds. I ended up buying weed control and sprayed the lawn myself and they were gone in three days. The rep claims it will take two or three weeks before I can see the weeds start to die which is ridiculous. The rep came out to spray fertilizer and insect control, but he forgot to spray fertilizer, then they had to come back out again. Poor service and how hard is it, amazing!!! When you have an issue you call a 866 number and you get someone in another state. Best to talk to someone local that you can understand. Overall there service is poor and the product used is diluted. Granular is so much better than combining all the ingredients in a single spray. TruGreen only sprays. Dont use these guys! You will regret it.

Excessive advertisements and marketing for no result to see, their employees dont care about their business or customers lawn, neither know how to evaluate lawns. Someone else has to make an appointment later to see the problem, havent seen results and been with them for 3 seasons.
They charged $180 for aerating a small .2 acre lot which seemed like a insane cost for the job, and after I prepaid for that service they forgot about it. So after the scheduled day of aeration I had to call and talk with a very grumpy representative named Marty about scheduling my service again. Marty was clearly doing something else while having me on speaker phone during the call and at times responded in ways letting me know he was not really paying attention to what he was doing. Do not use TruGreen. There is no reason for a company that charges this amount for this type of service and has the lack of customer service it does to exist.
Simply put, they do not provide the service you pay for, and when you attempt to contact them to remedy there is an extremely long hold, followed by horrible customer service followed by no remedy. I sincerely regret prepaying for their service. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your lawn needs. Our lawn has never looked as bad as it does now , and they simply do not care beyond canned responses and empty promises. It s unfortunate as they used to be such a great company.
I hired them on the referral from people in my neighborhood. I found out shortly after they started my services, a significant amount of them switched to a competitor due to issues. Not only did they not show up when they said they were going to show up, but they sprayed liquid fertilizer in the middle of the day during a heatwave, which as you can see in the photo killed a significant portion of my lawn in the backyard. When we bought this house four years ago, we had to put a years worth of weeding and reseeding in to get our yard to great condition. Not only did I they kill a lot of my back yard, but even when they treated my yard, there were weeds everywhere! I would listen to others when they say about TruGreen Lawn Care! UPDATE: 3 weeks later: emailed them like you asked. Not once have I seen an email or a call. Now why would you ask me to waste my time sending you an email for TruGreen to not even respond. This is the worst customer service, business ethics, and just lack of care for the work you do.
I hope this is the last review you read on TruGreen. Terrible results. Very bad customer service. High cost. You wonder if they even apply the fertilizer or weed control. Even talked to one of the techs(super nice guy), he was telling us how horrible it is to work there. Look them up on BBB, 1.7 stars. Ouch. Go local!
I will start off by saying we are NOT customers. I took one look at the reviews and we didnt go with TruGreen. However, our neighbors did. Today our dogs were outside and we heard them barking came out to the TruGreen employee spraying them (along our fence line). I understand youre in a rush, but it wouldve taken 1 minute to knock on my door and saying youre going to spray. Our dogs both were very sick in July and this happened then, too, but I wasnt for sure that it caused it. I guess we will see if they get sick again. Our poor neighbor dog also got sprayed.
I was literally paying this company to make my yard look horrible. I was with the company for 3 years and my lawn looked worse each year!! Would not recommend them to anyone!
I seeded my lawn last year (first picture) and put alot of work and money in to it. Trugreen came and killed my grass. I contacted them and it took a long time for someone to addressed my concern. They offered two free applications this year (2021) and NO IMPROVEMENT. MY LAWN LOOKS DEAD. This is how my lawn looks right now (image 2-4 on the right). Last week, someone came and I was surprised I got a bill for $50. I CANCELLED my account last year and customer service said there s no documentation that I did. Well let me tell you this.. lack of documentation in your part is not customer s fault! I would not recommend this company. You should be ashamed of yourself! Where s your dignity TruGreen? Your work speaks a lot of who you are!

I have used this company in the past, and in years past they performed the task ok, but this year, 2021, has been trouble. They cancel one of my prepaid applications, due to staffing issues I was told. Problem is the never came back. I had to call and ask if they were going to honor the year of services I prepaid for. They came and performed that task. Then the next service, they text me to say the service is complete, but no documentation was left at my door, no flag in the yard, and no one ever did the service, because my cameras never show them arriving. I hired you to fertilize my yard, you did a poor job, and the customer service never once apologized for the errors. I know its hard, its a covid year , your short staffed, and what ever else you want to say. But I am still able to provide service to my customers in my field, and if not, I TALK TO THEM about it. Goodbye.
They came and did what they said when they said and everything was super easy.
They will park in front of your house and just sit there and charge you for work they never did. When they actually do the work, it wont make a difference, especially when they treat your lawn in the rain. They wont make any effort to right the wrong they did. When you cancel they will continue to harass you about renewing your service by phone and mail even after you ask them to stop. I would rather water my lawn with vinegar and dog piss than give these people a single cent again, and I suggest you do the same.
Honestly the services were fine, I am not a grass expert so I did not notice earth shaking results. After a year decided not to renew. Here is where my problem comes in. I get hounded by TruGreen and I mean HOUNDED with these phone calls. I get called at least two calls a week asking to renew services. I say no thank you, and try to politely end the call. This is when my annoyance turns to writing a two star review. The sales staff will say any thing under the sun to keep you on the phone. They just never take no for an answer, and basically get me to the point I get mad and hang up on them. I have even stated that I just cant afford the service and they then ask me about my finances and what COULD I afford. Honestly I understand the sales team is probably forced to do this by the company, but that is why I am writing this review. I do not want to do business with a company that makes me feel like I am only signing up for their services out of pressure, not because they offer a great product or service. Once again I must say, thank you but no thank you to TruGreen.
I just got off the phone to get a quote. This lady would not be quiet and let me talk. After I had said Im going to consider the quote, she rambled on for another 10 to 15 minutes, and interrupted me when I was trying to say something. She repeated herself numerous times, and definitely was trying to scare me into getting their services. Again, this was just for a QUOTE. Basic business tact goes a long way. Not even considering their services because of this. If you are so confident in your services, you shouldnt feel the need to push sales.

I wish I would have posted earlier: Suggest you think twice about using this company. I got stuck with them last summer when our original company sold out to them. We had them complete a fall aeration as well. Our property was left with many gouges; I am of the belief they did not even complete the entire job. I left a message for the manager to contact me last October...no response at all.If I could I would give them negative stars. There are plenty of competitors out there. Dont waste your money with this company. After paying them hand over fist to treat my front yard for weeds - paying for aeration and over-seeding last fall, my grass grew in beautifully this Spring with all the rain and cool weather. With one treatment for weeds, they ruined it all. All that money gone. My grass fried by their chemicals. This picture is before and after their treatment. You can see where the wand was waved. And no return calls or emails when asked how they will fix this. Ive given them 3 weeks to remedy this situation and have not received a call back. HORRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. (and Ive been a customer for 3 years or more)
I would give this company zero stars if it was possible. Needless to say, I will never use this company again. I was a TurfCare customer for 4 years and always prepaid for a year of service so I didn t have to babysit my lawn s care. Apparently TurfCare was bought out by TruGreen about 1 year ago because I got an automated phone call from TruGreen saying I was scheduled for an application service in early Spring. I called to cancel but the customer rep women convinced me to stay, so I re-up again for another year and this is where everything went down hill. They came and did the first application, then I don t hear or see them again. I call a few months after the first application to see when they were coming again and the customer rep said I was due for a second application about 2 weeks ago. He doesn t know what went wrong but will schedule a second application 2 weeks later. No apology was offered. During that time, I asked them to do a landscaping weed control application as well, paid $67 for this service. 2 weeks later they come out and I can see the lawn guy applying something to my lawn. However, when I watch my surveillance footage, the landscape weed guy (2nd person) was walking through my landscaping beds but not spraying anything. When I go outside to check, there was no indication of him spraying anything on my landscaping beds. When TurfCare did this service, my landscaping bed was all green for a few days and then there was no weeds or growth all summer/fall. I call to inquire about the weed control service and the person on the phone was apologetic and scheduled someone to come back on June 15th to reapply my weed control. June 15th comes and no one shows up. I call again but this time to cancel my service. As we re going through my cancellation and prorated refund, there was a major discrepancy in my billing. Apparently, the person who took my original payment did not give me my prepay discount and she also incorrectly labeled by $67 weed control payment so it looks like I didn t pay. So in calculating my prorated refund, the customer rep kept trying to take $67 out of my refund amount because to her, it looks like I didn t pay. I kept trying to explain to her that I have 2 separate charges on my credit card, 1 for lawn service and 1 for weed service but she didn t listen. After about 1.5 hours and 2 managers later, we settled on a compromised refund amount. I felt like I had to babysit TruGreen s service more than it was worth. I prepay because I just want things to be done and done right. It s pretty obvious this company cannot do that. Funny thing, 2 days after I cancel my service the weed guy comes back and all he does is walks directly to my door and attach a receipt saying he applied weed control today. I watched my camera footage and he clearly did not apply anything. Now I have to spray and pull my own weeds for the rest of the season thanks to this company who is either incompetence or dishonest .

Literal scam. I got a call with quotes to set up service so I checked their reviews to see if I wanted to commit to a discounted annual rate or try monthly. When I saw the horrible reviews I decided not to use them. Without ever agreeing/scheduling/requesting service, they decided to just randomly come to my home and do whatever they want and bill whatever they want (4x what I was quoted) with no notice. I have called and complained that they are trespassing for services I never requested, I have emailed to complain, I have blocked them on my credit card and been awarded back their fraudulent charges and they wont stop coming. I am beyond furious.
Patrick was my TruGreen Specialist today. I would like him to be the one who comes to my home to care for my lawn for EVERY service. He was interested to learn about my concerns and took great care today to provide excellent customer service.

My neighbors had their lawn sprayed today by TruGreen, when I went outside it was like hitting a wall of chemicals. The smell has persisted, glad my windows arent open, but I cant help but think of how hazardous this is to kids playing outside, neighbors going on walks, etc.
Excellent service- prompt and courteous! My lawn continues to look fantastic- even through the hottest parts of summer. It remains healthy and it is great to be able to enjoy a beautiful yard.
Was scheduled for a winterization service last Friday between 8 & 12, messaged that tech was on his way, no show so I called system say customer cancelled? Spoke to CS asking for a manager none available they will have to call you still waiting for that call after multiple calls to CS. They ended up showing the following Tuesday. Tech applied fertilizer and weed control end of October?? Thats not winterizer. Tells me I should see health and color as well as weeds in 7 to 21 days again its end of October. Then tells me Im mowing to short well yes that last of the season I always mow shorter plus mulching and picking up leaves. I feel they are trying to make up $$ for applications they couldnt do this summer due to the heat. So I wonder when they plan to do winter application........ dont know cant get a hold of anyone local Omaha !!!
I signed up via an in-person door-to-door sales call last fall (2019) for bagworm control, as my spruce trees were really suffering. The price I paid was for one application then an one application in the spring (2020). I was happy with that part. This morning they showed up to do a fertilization application. What the what? I only ever authorized bagworm control. Do not appreciate additional services added without my consent. I will find someone else for bagworm control next year.
TruGreen just charged me $214 after I asked for my service to be discontinued. They did an aeration on my yard without having my dog fence, and sprinklers flagged and then said they didnt do the service. I tried several times to get in touch with someone afterwards and instead just got random calls asking me if they could schedule the services that had already been done. I talked to the gentleman that came to my house to do a service a couple of weeks later and told him I only wanted the service done if I had already paid for it. He assured me I had already been charged and then I was charged the next day. TruGreen is a complete joke. Nobody at this company wants to be the person that answers for mistakes and I still have yet to talk to someone that wants to truly take care of me. There are plenty of local companies that will do a great job and have amazing customer service. Dont waste your time with this company.

True green is whorable company as far as taking care of your lawn. With unprofessional customers care. Last year I had a service with them and they missed up my lawn so I spent too much money for nothing. I will not recommend it to anyone.
I have over the last 2 years had at least 15 conversations with these people about putting me on their do not call list, yet they constantly call blaming it on their portal. I quit using them to begin with because they burned up my yard, only thing left was the weeds, and then i watched as one of their crew members pulled up, sat in the truck for 45 minutes, then left with out ever treating anything, and then sent me a bill three days later for the treatment. These people are jokes, go to your local companies for your lawn needs.
When you cancel their service, the pushy phone calls dont stop. When I said I have a different lawn service now, they wanted to offer me mosquito control, then shrub & tree care, then finally service my sprinkler! These people are unbelievable, like salesmen bullies!

We had service for our yard for over a year with them.my yard was full of weeds and it started to die then I called and they said we had grubs I said ok why hasn t the guy that comes out and can clearly see my grass is dying not say anything about it? . I caught the guy running when he was putting down seeding. When I finally canceled they won t stop calling.
Sign up if you want telemarketing calls that wont take no for an answer. Also they will just start coming the next year after you have only paid for the one year and tell them to stop. They just rebill your debit card. Also when you see their employees around town and start to ask them a question they just say I dont work for them. Umm...dude your wearing a uniform that says trugreen and your name on it. Well this isnt my area. ???
I scheduled a sprinkler system maintenance about a month ago. Didnt hear anything so I called and they said nothing was ever put on the books. Call center employee sounded like they could care less. Finally got an appointment that was between 1-6 PM and I waited until 620 and no show. Called to reschedule and they were clueless. I do not recommend this company.
Just had my lawn aerated, fertilized, all the fun stuff, plugs still all over the lawn. Then a walking salesman walks by and does a free inspection. Tries to sell me all the stuff that was done that week, plus sprinkler system repair when I dont own a system. Takes advantage of people. Bad company.

I have had True Green for my lawn care for probably 13 years. I have always been very happy with them and my yard has always looked great. In 2017 I started having problems for the first time. Weeds were starting to pop up throughout the yard and then started spreading and making it hard to control. I could never get anyone out to retreat for weeds. They said they would come and I had like 3 or 4 no shows. After a couple of months of calling and not being able to get anyone to come out to my house, I cancelled. In 2018, they called offering me services again. I mentioned my concerns from the previous year and he assured me that they were under new management and to give them another try. So, I did. In 2018, my yard still didnt look as good as it has in the past, but my expectations were not as high either. Now this season (2019) we are in a different house from the previous years and the weeds are out of control. I called for a retreat which they did come but I see no results. I am going to cancel. Its not a cheap service and I feel like there are other choices out there. I feel like they are trying to focus on so many other treatments (EMAILS and CALLS all day long from them ) that our yards are taking the hit for it.
Trugreen does a great job for me. They are quite reasonably priced too.
Went out the next day to work and noticed my grass was dead in spots from the previous days visit. Called to have someone come back and fix was told a manager would call me within 2 days. Well it s been a week now and still no call or trugreen to coke Fix what they messed up. It s not normal to have dead patches everywhere and I followed exactly what I was told to do. Water the entire grass for at least 4-5 minutes. So upset about my lawn. Will not recommend using them.
In true salesman form, Kyle Robinson says what he needs to say to get the sale. Then hes gone. Hes been evasive, misleading and just a bad look for the company. Hes been working on sales in the Beaver Lake/Murray area and we had no idea what we were getting into. I called the company today since he refuses to respond now and they say they will take care of us. Well see.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. They have been scheduled to come service my sprinkler system no less than four times, each time I have to take off work to stay home and meet them. Each time I have done this, and each time they fail to show. I wish I could charge them for my time, as this is becoming far more trouble than its worth. Their sprinkler check up will probably provide zero value anyways. Avoid this company. I will never use their services again.
One of the worst companies I have ever seen. Do not follow notes have different techs every application spray and done in 4 minutes then jump in their trucks and leave. Many good companies around. If you call or app in they just ignore u. Terrible
The mosquito treatment is worth it by all means. We never seen 1 mosquito all season.our lawn is starting to look good, just takes time. Yes Get True Green!
I switched to TruGreen this lawn season when a representative, Paul, approached me at my residence. He convinced me they would be able to do a better job overall and that he can address my concern about the weeds especially around the air-condition unit. He first checked with his manager to get the approval and he did. Second he said I would be able to get a discount if I paid the entire amount for the lawn application upfront and additional discount for military . After a couple weeks I got the statement from my bank indicating the discount was not applied. I called and texted Paul to inform him and he mentioned he would take care of it. I did it again after two weeks when it wasn t resolved. I tried two more times but his phone went straight to voice mail and he has never returned my call. I decided to forget about it and just finish out the applications I paid for and not deal with TrueGreen next season. I recently got a call because they wanted to offer me aeration. I said I am not interested and that I am also not interested in dealing with TruGreen in the future. The representative, Devin, pressed me to explain. So I explained to him what happened and I did not want to deal with a company that mislead a consumer. He then chastises me because he says that TruGreen is not like that and to me insinuates that I am being dishonest. I stated to Devin that unfortunately Paul is an employee of TrueGreen, therefore making him part of my original statement that the company mislead me. I also mentioned they will leave you a print out of what they have done to your lawn but so far I have only received the initial one. Devin said they spray the same thing every time so what do you want them to do, leave a print out all the time? If you want to keep a customer, you are not supposed to engage in an argument with the customer! I understand you need to push your sales but you are not going to do so at my cost. I would rather support the local lawn companies than deal with TrueGreen. You can find other companies that have better lawn service, cheaper and better customer service.
HORRIBLE!!! I dont even know where to start... I had just bought a house that the backyard was mostly weeds. I called and got priced and so on. The first thing I noticed that was off was when they gave me a price over the phone for sq footage, they did not take into account the shed and deck that are from whatever source they use to get the area, thus charging me for places not getting treated. Once they started to come out, there was maybe a small patch where weeds died but overall, nothing. My backyard still looks the same as when i bought the house a year ago. I gave this company a year to kill these weeds and nothing. I called for the free in between services, nothing. .I get the email that they are on their way. They never show up. I paid for the entire year and basically got nothing in return. Thats a few hundred down the drain. Ideally, I would want a full refund. This company is HORRIBLE. I would never recommend this place. First, don t trust this company. These people came to my house and they said they did their job, but they did not. They did not fertilizer. The yard door was locked from inside and I have a ring camera and we talked to him that my son will unlock the door for him. While my son was about to unlock the door, the guy gathered his stuff and left. Then I called the 800 number and they apologized, and decided to get my money back because of the lack of trust. After few days, Two guys came to my house, and they were checking his work. I opened the gate for the back yard, the supervisor was rude to me and said our guy did his job and did not believe me, even tho I have evidence from the camera. Then I kicked them out lol. Anyways, don t trust them and I don t recommend them at all.
Worst service ever! As they told me to call in as many times as I wanted when I have weeds, I did multiple times. Out of all of the times I reached out to them, they came 3 times, the others they said oh you have a treatment coming up so we will deal with it at that time . Then for my last treatment, I had to call them to get it and the ground is half frozen so what they put down was pointless. On top of that, I have video surveillance of their person doing the last treatment and they only did the parameter of my lot. They didn t even walk through the middle of my yard. Guess what, I still have weeds and feel that the money I spent was wasted on a worthless treatments. Never again will we use this company.

The WORST customer service ever. Paid my bill and now I have bill collectors saying I owe money even though I have paid it MONTHS AGO. I have talked to several different people and this has not been resolved and I am getting zero help. At this point Im deeming it as fraudulent activity because nobody wants to do their job and resolve this issue when Im showing THE RECEIPTS!!!!!
Service itself was alright. The lawn care specialists showed up regularly and never caused too many issues other than aerating when it was too wet. The salesman and their billing office are absolutely terrible. The salesman claimed to sell me a 2 year package after touting the great price compared to the 1 year package. I prepaid for the 2 year service he was advertising. Here I am about 9 months into the service and they are sending me bills for my last two treatments. I call the local billing office and they keep telling me that a 2 year package has never existed and all they have is a 1 year package. Additionally, the representative I spoke with wouldnt resolve anything with me on the phone. She couldnt even get original paperwork from when the deal was set up or get the salesman on the phone. She claims that a manager will call me back but based on other reviews I see, that will not happen. This is some very shady behavior. Additionally, all the positive reviews out there seem questionable. Ill circle back to update this review if anything actually gets resolved.
I signed with this company 3 weeks ago. New customer. They schedule me to meet and analyze my lawn last Wed. I asked permission at work and they didnt show. When I called, later someone call me and said we need to reschedule because of a medical emergency. We reschedule for today. Yesterday got automated call confirming it. Once again they didnt show nor call. I called and the gal there didnt care much, couldnt even explain what was going on. Finally said we have to reschedule again. She end up not caring at for customer so I just closed the account.
Gentlemen from the company came to my house today, was condescending and overall rude. If they treat me like that before I even consider doing business I cannot imagine what would happen with a concern with actual service. No thank you
Have royally screwed up my account. Started servicing address I did not authorize and sent me a past due bill for that address and stops service at the correct address for which. I paid for the whole service period in advance. Service is worse than poor. Have not performed the services for which I paid for. May file complaint with BBB.
I used Tru Green last year. They did a good job. This year is a different story. I had to call 3 times to make sure they were coming out again this year. I was told several times, that they were coming ..never did until June 5th for a first application. This was way too late for a first application. Every time, I called I was given more and more excuses. I dont believe they did anything on the June 5th service call. There is crab grass in the front lawn, and a backyard full of weeds. If they did anything, they didnt spray or apply weed and feed within 18 inches of any landscape timber or rock. There are two areas, that I know nothing was done. It is full of weeds. I called to express my dissatifaction on the service on July 2nd. I was told they would have some one come either the 3rd,5th, or 6th. They never came. I called one more time ( total of 5-6 calls), and was told, they were coming today, July 10th. I called 3 times. They supposedly sent a notification to the lawn crew. I was told 3 times, they would be here today. They never showed up again. The supervisor re-set the re-application date to this Thursday July 12th. The supervisor said, they can only sent messages to the crew, but cant actually talk to them. The communication set up, is terrible. I will never, just have them come when I am not home again. I am sure the same thing will happen this Thursday. The Tru Green company is obviously too big to provide dependable service. I asked for a refund, but this supervisor cant do that. She did not offer a name or number to contact either. At this point in the summer, all the dependable, lawn service companies are fully booked.
My lawn looks like the worst one in the neighborhood! And im paying over 600 dollars for their services! If they dont fix i will be canceling. A service came by yesterday saying im not the only one upset and they have a new gm that hopefully that may help with some of the upset customers. What a joke!!
not worth the Money
We had TruGreen last year. That went well. This year was a joke. They came early when it was still freezing temps at night. Second application was to spray weeds. He said not much to spray. Then the yard exploded in weeds and they werent scheduled to come back until late June. I complained to TruGreen on line. They said they were sorry I was feeling this way instead of saying they were sorry for the way they took care of the lawn. What a joke. Then I got an email, not a call from the local rep. She asked what should they do. How stupid. What she should have said was we will send out a tech right away and take care of my problem. That is what I told her in a follow up enail. That didnt happen. All they did is cancelled out the remainder of the treatments. Next Im contacting BBB to let them know too. We will go with local company that has better service. Hire them at your own risk.
I read all the customer reviews and all their employee reviews. Im working my way to becoming an Expert reviewer onto a Master reviewer. People in this world deserve to earn a better living and treated like humans. Its sad Nebraska allows this kind of abuse in the work place. It shall and wont be tolerated long. Running workers into the ground is a little in humane. Also, customers deserve TRUELY GREEN lawn with Truely Green service. Advice: Shape up or ship out. Dont be a shyster please.
Still waiting for a phone call from the office to address why our lawn is overflowing with weeds with their service. The WORST lawn service we ve ever had! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I have waiting a long time before posting the however having a 3rd no show i will have no choice.They call ahead the day before to confirm yet they dont call or show up.They say the driver will call me and they dont. NO SHOW 3 TIMES NO CALL BACK NO SERVICE RUDE I have clover and weeds I have never had before.The service went bad when the two companys got together Last year the driver spilled chemical in my front yard getting it out of the truck.They were notified however did nothing to correct tje problem.I had to reseed and sod the area.I tjougjt I give them another chance and this year my yard looks horrible. Weeds and clover but the realdeal is NO SHOW APPOINTMENTS AND NO CALL BACKS..nothing but excuses and reschedule the appointment only for another no show.

After a few weeks of them treating my lawn, it looked worst than if I hadnt put anything on it. The first service that was to be $29.95 was $81.00. They claimed that they put down grub control, I asked did you see grubs they said it is preventive. That was fine put when we called to say weeds werent dying they said we will retreat. They came out and retreated, but when I looked st my account it started a retreat, but also there was a charge for service on the same day. My wife called and as ne complained about weeds so they said that they would send out a supervisor. But instead of a supervisor they sent out a tech to retreat. 2 weeks later I called and said I was not satisfied and wanted to cancel and have a refund since I paid for the whole year. You dont talk to the Omaha office you talk to a call center. After talking to a supervisor at the call center the lady ensured that a supervisor would be out the Tuesday after labor day. But surprise they sent a tech out without a supervisor. I told him to not treat and that I was going to cancel. Later that day I got a call from a lady in the Omaha office that was completely rude. I told her the whole story and said I am done I am cancelling and expect a full refund or I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and will report to bbb. In a rude way she said ok I will get the refund done. Today I get a notification from my credit card company but the refund was over a $150.00 short.
A very bad company! The do not get rid of weeds and very rude people. Our yard looks worse now that they have worked on it.
Some of the worst service I have ever had. They sold me on taking care of a grub problem that I have every year, and usually take care myself. They didnt and raccoons destroyed my yard after grubs appeared after their $70 application. Now I have a destroyed yard and a raccoon problem. They seeded and aerated for free to make up for what is essentially no grass in my backyard (used to be slightly above average back there) and then said the next repair would be half price. So I have to pay them 107 dollars to repair what they broke by not doing what they promised. Then the local manager hung up on me when I said I wanted to cancel my services. Do not use them. Its a money grab and they truly dont care one bit about your yard and the quality of their work. They wrecked my yard to the point I almost have to start from scratch to repair it and if I dont pay them to fix it, they hang up on me. Terrible business practices.
A lady came to my door the other night trying to sell service to me i told he no i do my own lawn care and she refused to leave kept talking then she leaves a flyer on my porch and takes pictures of my yard without my ok. Next thing i know im at my back door getting ready to leave she walks in my back yard and takes 4 pictures of my back yard. I think you need to get a life lady and get fired
I had a few issues early on but once I expressed my concern they made everything right. I was visited in person by the area manager to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I appreciated feeling like my concerns were taken seriously.
I truly believe my lawn ranks in the top 3 in my neighborhood. Being partial, I believe it is the best in color, thickness, and scarcity of weeds. I credit this to my TruGreen specialist that treats my lawn and the chemicals and frequency that my lawn is treated. I believe the money I spend is certainly well worth the appearance of my lawn. I receive numerous positive comments about the quality of my lawn. Ive been a TruGreen customer for as long as I can remember!!!!!
I called to have my lawn aerated. They quoted my lawn at $162! Thats insane, last company that did it only cost $52. Way overpriced!

Our tech is very friendly and always contacts me one to two days ahead of his coming. Always on time and leaves a detailed desciption of what was done. So far so good price wise.
