In 2023 Above and Beyond did a very nice job with a landscaping project in my backyard so in April of 2024 I had them back to complete a landscaping project in my front yard. Wow!! Let me tell you .Above and Beyond truly does go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied, and happy. Thank you!

I would highly recommend Above and Beyond. They removed our deck and put in a raised concrete patio. From the initial meeting, to design, to the implementation - all of the employees were a pleasure to work with.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional company from design to installation and beyond. Chandler was great to work with in the design phase, very easy to work with on changes. He did a final walk thru as well when the project was completed. Devon and the installation team were all very polite and easy to work with. The quality of the work was exemplary. Very detailed and the site was clean after. They worked quickly and efficiently. Questions were answered fully and truthfully. There were no hidden costs or mistakes in the quote and billing was a breeze. We had a few other bids we considered,but Above and Beyond was competitively priced and most of all the expertise, ease of working with them and the honesty and transparency was first and foremost. They listened when we went thru what we wanted done and bid it exactly correct. Others bid it, but then when I confirmed the details, either they stated they hadnt written that down and the price kept raising. Above and Beyond never did that. They were perfect in every step of the way

After observing a concrete driveway they were installing in our neighborhood, we chose Above and Beyond to tear out and rebuild an existing retaining wall and paver patio and install a new wood burning stacked stone fireplace adjacent to the patio. I could not be happier with their quality of work and attention to detail! Tom, Gary, and the crew took painstaking care to minimize any disruption to our existing lawn and landscaping. Above and Beyond is truly a top notch company!

We had our deck replaced by Above & Beyond. They did a quality job in a short time. It was done in 3 days - old deck torn down and took away as well. They also have a great price for their work. If you are looking for a new deck I suggest calling them.

Absolutely the best contractor of any kind I have ever worked with in my 70 years. They deserve more than 5 Stars! We have used them for pool and backyard landscape design including new retaining walls with built in landscape lighting, new cobblestone pool decking and installed lattice work trim around an existing wood deck. They completely recontoured our back yard for proper drainage and installed new landscape beds and trees. We also had them tear out and replace all our concrete sidewalks and driveways so the front of the house looks as good as the new backyard. Every project was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Their communication was excellent throughout and always had the most professional and courteous work crews on each and every job. They also handle our general yard & irrigation maintenance every year including mowing and spring/fall cleanup. Their name is truly appropriate - they go Above and Beyond on every project no matter whether it is big or small.

We had a patio put in our backyard. I knew from the first conversation with Jared I wanted them to do the work. He was so relaxed and personable but very confident about their work. They did a wonderful job they and were the nicest guys and very professional. We appreciated their hard work. It turned out pass our expectations.. If you need any of their services I would use them! I had a very negative experience with Above and Beyond Company. I do not recommend hiring them for any sprinkler system repair. This is what happened. I had moved into my house last fall. When I recently tried to use the sprinkler system, I discovered that the heads were not working, so I called the company to repair them. Three professionals with two vans came to my house, but they still couldn t figure out why my system wasn t working. They replaced a $3 part (the auto drain valve in the water control box), but their system didn t work. Finally, they told me that the backflow preventer valve should be higher than the backyard. Little did they know that I have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, which made no sense to me. I asked them to double-check the water pressure from an outside faucet, and it was normal. They charged me $78($3 for the part) and left. I kept thinking that the water pressure might be the problem, so I checked the main water valve in the basement, and to my surprise, it was only half-open! I opened it completely, and the sprinkler system worked. I called the manager of the company and explained everything, and asked him to return my $78, which he didn t do. He told me that the repairmen were trained professionals and the best in the company. I left a voicemail, and he wouldn t call back. I don t believe that I should have had to pay for the service call since nothing was fixed. Also, I m disappointed that I was given a bogus explanation for why their system wasn t working.

Asked for an estimate which took one week. They then said they could add me on as a customer which then they called and said sorry can t help even after supposedly adding me on for lawn mowing services. For those needing services quickly just go somewhere else.

Absolutely loved working with Above and Beyond. We had a retaining wall put in and also some soft scape along the side of our home. From start to finish they were professional and took the time to answer all my questions. Great quality work, and looks fabulous. The work they did was above my expectations.

We had our pool put in with a poured concrete coping and paver patio last year. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done. Their guys were the first ones on the site in the mornings. The job site was cleaned and picked up every evening before they left. We love enjoying our back yard now. Thank you!

Today, I was heading home with my two children when suddenly my small camper became unhitched from my truck on a very busy road way with high speeds and we were stranded. I tried calling my husband who is an Army recruiter in Omaha for assistance but due to his demanding job couldn t answer at that moment. I was lost on what to do as I am not strong enough to lift it by myself. I was beginning to become worried about our safety (I m an EMT, always thinking about safety, more so about my children than myself in that moment) the way people were driving and a couple close calls of us almost getting rear ended by passerby s one of your amazing crew members stopped to help me lift it and rehitch it to my truck. I just want to say Thank you, again!! You taking the time to help me assured that me and my little ones got home safely. Not too many helpful, caring souls left out there. You are definitely a special soul, sir...

We are so thrilled with our back yard retaining wall! It looks beautiful and changed the look of our entire back yard. Jimmy, and his crew took over a commercial bldg account for me. I hired them for Complete ground maintenance. they have gone done an exceptional job for me. This winter being an extraordinary rough one was taken care of without one complaint all season very quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. They did a landscape project for me with a new retaining wall this spring. They did a fabulous job. Tony has been awesome to work with and so patient. Even julie in the office has been so helpful. Above and Beyond is indeed the Premier landscapers in the Omaha Area. They just completed a retaining wall for us. James, Gary and Cade were the hardest working crew of young men I have seen in a while. Their attention to detail was amazing. The crew installed a beautiful retaining wall, an outdoor fireplace with patio pavers, concrete work for our swim spa, and sprinkler repair. Sept. 23rd I mailed this following letter (partial contents copied here) to the owner of Above and Beyond and have not yet, to this date received any kind of response. I July 23rd of this year a technician came to my house to repair a leaking sprinkler. It is the one located at the end of the drive on the east side. He replaced the head and put a plug in the bottom to prevent leaking water after the system is off. He also replaced the rotor. The sprinkler head has continued to leak. When I contacted your office and spoke with, I believe, Chad, he informed me that it was not unusual for the sprinkler to continue to leak from the lowest head after watering. I told him that this particular head is NOT at the lowest spot in the lawn, wherein, in the most condescending manner, he asked if I needed to have someone come to my home and explain this all to me again. I told him I didnt need this. This sprinkler head has continued to leak daily. I was out of town for over a week recently and had turned off the system because of the amount of rain we had had. When I got home, I saw that the head in question had continued to leak. I have been a loyal customer since your company was known as Automatic Rain; my records show since 1998 and have always been treated fairly. I have never hesitated to recommend your company to others. However, such demeaning answer to my concerns makes me question the validity of continuing this relationship or making recommendations on your behalf. I I just wanted to let you know that your employees need to understand that your customers are not totally ignorant of how things work and to answer concerns in a respectful and timely way.

We contacted Above and Beyond to repair our tripping hazard entry sidewalk, and sinking front step. We decided to improve the front landscaping beds as well. We got a good competitive bid from the company. Rain delays slowed the start of work, but once it began we were delighted with the results. The workers were on time, stayed late when needed. They were courteous, and very tidy with their equipment. Derrek was easy to work with then we added the inevitable extra projects! We are very happy with the results!

Wish there were NO stars, thats what I think of this company. The original install wasnt completed as outlined, then at the one year warranty follow-up, half of the work was done that was discussed. Over half of my plants have had to be replaced. Horrible follow-up, horrible service. Runnnnn from this company.

Had spring clean up done on my yard on 3/14/2018. They did an AMAZING JOB! I will for sure hire them for next year.

Above & Beyond CGM did an amazing job on my patio. I was having water back flow from my gutters go under my 2 year old concrete patio. It caused the patio to crack & was causing cracks in my foundation. Tony & Jimmy came out & told me what needed to be done to fix the draining issue & what my options were for replacing the cracked patio. We decided on a paver patio due to the longevity over concrete & ability to fix it if it was ever needed. They made several drawings & finally my wife decided on one (She/I made them change it like 5 times & they were very nice & understanding about it) They gave me a rough starting date & were there the day they estimated. Im so glad we went with pavers. It looks amazing. My neighbors keep popping their heads over the fence to say wow & tell me how beautiful it looks. The workers were also great. My kids wanted to rush home from school so they could bring the guys drinks & they responded with high fives. They also respected my property. They cleaned up meticulously everyday before leaving. They explained every step & also answered all of my questions usually before I could ask them. They definitely earned a life long customer & a five star rating.

Two years ago I had a retaining wall put up in my back yard and one in my driveway. I also got my neighbor to put a wall in her backyard. Above and Beyond did it all as their name says. The crew that did the work were just great. To me it was a big project but I was impressed with the timeliness of getting it done. I would recommend this company highly to anyone!!!

I have used this company for many years for a variety of things. I started off having them redo my privacy fence and border it with mulch and plants. I was so impressed by the end result and attention to detail that I started using them on a weekly basis for my lawn mowing and they also do a fabulous job trimming my hedges. Amazing customer service!!!

I was so impressed with this company! They were very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted even though I didnt. I needed something done to the from of my house for curb appeal and also to help push water away from our house. I suggested something simple with a concrete patio and Tony the owner suggested something more decorative with pavers. I let him go with it and am so glad I did. I really can not believe how beautiful it is, It is now my favourite thing about my house. It added more to the outside look of my house than I ever could have imagined. It is truly a work of art. We get constant compliments by our neighbors. They were far, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them a million times over.

I have recently used Above and Beyond for my landscaping needs with a pool project. They worked seamlessly with my pool builder to make sure they did not cause any delays in the project. A retaining wall was built that exceeded my expectations... they even accommodated adding steps and a sitting area to the retaining wall after it was put in. Along with the retaining wall they also put in plant material, lights, rock and installed sod from the pool building process. Tony was easy to work with and kept me up to date with the status of my project. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing landscaping needs. Tony will even RAISE a fence post when he is onsite with a fence installer :)

Fantastic company and we are very happy/impressed with the final product. We got 2 bids; Above and Beyond was the lower bid and everything about the experience was great. They put in an underground sprinkler system, paver patio, retaining wall, rock beds, mulch beds, drain system, hid our downspouts and planted multiple bushes, trees and plants. All this was done with a great amount of attention to detail and we are very happy with the results. I worked in the past for companies that installed sprinklers, retaining walls and landscaping and I can attest that all the work I saw was done correctly and a with a high degree of quality. The entire experience was great from start to finish. We worked primary with Jimmy and he was great at communicating with us promptly and thoroughly in addition to providing suggestions on how to make things look and function better. He was very personable and we felt very confident in him and trusting of him to not sell us something we didn t need or want. He was also very patient with us as we took a while and had a lot of questions during the planning process. DJ also was great with the sprinkler installation and explaining the system functionality along with watering frequency. Every worker we encountered was awesome, provided great customer service, and were responsive to our questions (all 400 questions) and requests. We have a couple young children and we never had an issue with them being exposed to anything inappropriate. During the actual work we had 3 different managers and the owner at our house to make sure things were going well and they took the time to talk to us and see if we had any questions or concerns. They cleaned up after the work was completed and seemed very appreciative of our business. The work was completed this week so our lawn has to heal from the sprinkler install, but I am excited to see how it looks in a month. For now everything else we had completed looks perfect and we couldn t be happier. I doubt it will be needed, but if it is, there is no question in my mind that they will honor the warranty on the craftsmanship and products we purchased. I will be using Above and Beyond in the future for anything else we want and highly recommend them. Another great aspect is that they took care of every aspect of our work except the initial backflow install for the sprinkler system, so I didn t have to do anything in regard to coordinating. Above and Beyond did an EXCELLENT job for us. Tonys crew exceeded our expectations for the job we hired them to do. Tony is very easy to get along with and was very responsive to our desires. Tonys crew is staffed with some very nice and hard working young men. My husband and I absolutely love the landscaping they did on our front lawn. Above and Beyond put in a walkway made out of river rock and large flat stones last summer. They did a wonderful job. It was completed in one and a half days and looks great. Their employees worked steady in 90 degree heat. My husband and I will be contacting Above and Beyond in the near future for other projects we want done.

After receiving bids and talking to many different businesses and private contactors, I selected Above and Beyond because I really liked their vision of the patio the best and it was within my budget.
