I paid this outfit to make my lawn look better and make it healthier. After about 18 months and when I noticed my adjoining neighbor's yard looking much healthier, I took a photo(attached) and sent it to Barefoot Lawn Care. The long bearded, snarky guy with a completely dismissive attitude asked, "So you are going to blame me for your lawn"? Heck yeah, I blame him and Barefoot! I paid them to keep my lawn and I got jack. Just look at the pic. Somehow my patch (on the viewer's right) looks worse than the non-professionally cared for lawn on the left. He said my lawn had red-thread in it, but somehow my neighbor did not. Okay...fix it partner, don't just yap about it. I did find a fix online which suggested nitrogen application. That is the summary of the quality of their service. I can do a bad a jib as they do for nothing. LoL.
I hired this company almost two years ago. They were wonderful at first and they do a great job when they actually complete the work. One day out of the blue, they just didn’t mow my back yard. I called and was told I wouldn’t be charged and they would follow up with the crew to find out what happened. I never received a follow up call. The next time they mowed the lawn, they left huge strips of missed spots everywhere with absolutely zero communication from anyone. I don’t know if they got new crew members or what but after that I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I have had Barefoot for a couple years now and they have my yard looking great! I was skeptical at first but they came over and told me what to do and then they started. I also like how they recommend what the yard needs instead of a guessing game. The price of what they do is very inexpensive and well worth the results! I have and will continue to recommend Barefoot to everyone I know.
We have owned our house for 4 years and have struggled with recurrent moss, weeds and slouchy grass areas with products we bought at Lowes. We saw a lawn with Bare Foot's sign and thought it looked so good and decided to give them a shot at improving our lawn. Best decision! In 2 months we have the best looking lawn in our neighborhood. We have no complaints. Great company!
We used Barefoot many years ago, and when I needed someone now, they were the first ones I called. They were quick to respond and recommended which services I needed. They thatched, reseeded, and sprayed fertilizer. Within a couple days, there was a huge improvement in my lawn. I'm hope I can sign up for additional services from them in the future. For now, they will give me a nice yard again. I definitely recommend.
I use Barefoot to keep my grass green and healthy. Every 3 months they come out and treat with weed control and fertilizer. The treatment is dry in 10-20 minutes and safe for my children and dogs. Very reasonable price compared to me buying products at a local home improvement store and doing it myself. Believe me I tried for the first two years of owning my home and bringing my lawn back to health. Neighbors (3 so far) walk by my lawn and ask what I'm doing. I confess I use commercial company called Barefoot. Give them a try, it was important for me to have a healthy lawn for my two young daughters to play.
I have used Barefoot Lawn for the last seven years. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my lawn. They do an outstanding job of keeping it looking green, lush and beautiful. They are always very reliable and very professional and friendly. I think the only way they could be better is if they also did pruning! In a word...they are wonderful!!!
Barefoot has cared for my lawn plus perimeter pest control since 2003. I have been extremely satisfied with their performance and the results in the yard. Yes, they do cost more than others but it has been worth it for me knowing they would come when promised and use the correct products for fertilizer and pest control. They know lawns and types of grasses. Any special issues that arose over the years were dealt with promptly. Their employees could be trusted to be around my home and pets.

We had them come in batch and then they gave us some seed to put down on our brand new dirt their seed is worth nothing nothing but weeds now we have to start all over again this was recommended by us but I don t think they re that good if their seeds got nothing but weeds Dianna if I could ve gave it a zero star I would ve our yard is full of wheats don t get these guys to do it our neighbor did the same thing his yard full of weeds he is the same grass seed we did
Extremely high turn over rate not a good place to work. For the money you spend your lawn will not reflect it. 10/10 stay away
DO NOT USE! They are way over-priced for services that don t actually help your lawn and their customer service is terrible!!
They scheduled me very quickly and did great work. While dethatching an in ground sprinkler head was broken. They came out and fixed it the next day, no questions asked. Would definitely recommend.
Breaking a PVC pipe with your heavy duty mower then blaming a dog is beyond unprofessional and honestly horrible to do to an animal who cant even speak for themselves. You deserve less than one star. Thanks for trying to bury the broken pieces.
I used barefoot throughout the fall, winter and until mid May. There was a problem or two and the owner came out and offered to spray heavier but the problem persisted. I complained but I was rudely rebuffed over the phone. He would not come out. Some people will pee on you and try to convince you it s rain. This complaint is a snippet of what I filed with BBB and Angie s list. The owner failed business 101 miserably!
Called for an estimate to have it not scheduled. Finally get a call that hes on the way and will arrive in 15 mins (4pm) after freeing up my ENTIRE day since it wasnt scheduled in a window. Guy shows up and leaves after 2 minutes of talking. Let me sum it up. I stated I wanted to have a 1 time job to start and then a weekly routine down the road. Kirk repeatedly asks if its going to be a one time job which I leave it open and say I would like to start a routine down the line. kirk states it wont work then proceeds to walk away from me while Im asking questions about payments and service to which he doesnt reply. Long story short I wasted my time (a whole day) waiting for a guy for him to then not respect my time and leave without giving me any information. I would recommend staying away from this company. I would give a 0 out of 5 if I could

Did exactly what he said they would do. New grass seed took a little while to grow but it did. I would use Barefoot again....in fact I plan on using them for moss control in the fall.
We have used Barefoot Lawn for many years and have been happy with their service. They use professional and caring technicians. One thing I appreciate is that they email me to remind me prior to coming so I can turn off our motion cameras. I have always appreciated the great communication with their team.

12 months ago when I first started using Barefoot Lawn, my lawn was more moss than grass. The attention to detail, proper timing and feeding of the lawn, and other services have my lawn looking better than it has at any time since it was sodded in. Thank-you.
I havent been a customer very long, but Im impressed by their service and knowledge. Ive only had one fertilizer and weed treatment. I have not had my lawn look this good in a very long time. They also cleanup everything before they leave.

Barefoot lawn provides quality service at a reasonable price, and Id recommend them if youre looking for most landscaping options. I love that they took the time to not only provide services, but educate me on what I need to do to maintain the property, like how to water appropriately. I only wish they provided lawn seeding services!

A man from barefoot came to give a bid on my yard. He left a note that my yard was out of scope. I tried calling 6 times and no answer. I left 6 messages. NO RETURN CALLS. Do not trust these guys. Just bad news
The lawn service is usually excellent minus my last lawn treatment that burned my lawn in multiple spots.
We paid for the initial service plus a spraying/fertilizing service and the additional 5 weekly services (that she made me feel like I HAD TO get). However, it is now my second service and honestly Im really quite disappointed. There are still a TON of weeds on my side yard (which clearly has NEVER been touched by them), there is still leaves all over the flower beds in my backyard, and I feel like my grass just looks smashed instead of nicely cut. Also, when I brought it to attention the weeds on the side yard, I was informed that they had been sprayed and it just takes a few weeks for them to go away, but if I paid for another service it should take care of them. No, I will NOT be paying for another service when it should have been done the first time around.
Overpriced with poor lawn care. I paid for fertilizing and weed spraying on top of the basic lawn service. Half of my front lawn is dead and I still have weeds. Not worth it.
