My problem with MIR mowers is their attention to detail. My wife has called a few times in the past about them leaving our trash can in the middle of driveway or some other area where it wasnt found when they arrived. The lady i spoke to today said she has no written record of complaints and her tone seemed if i was being petty. I just told her to cancel my service. There are mowers in Memphis who can cut and then put theings back they way they were found. I shouldnt have to get out of my car to remove my trash can so that i can enter my drive way and my garage

Sometimes they go so fast they miss areas.

They dont even respond for a request for quote. Thats the level of service you can expect in the mid south. Lazy terrible people with bad attitudes

I start using the company for weed control- this year I asked if they would cut grass ..I being a senior could haves done a better job ..they left cut grass on my lawn.When I asked why they didn t bag the grass .I was told it would be a additional fee ..so Disappointed I d just stick with the weed control for now

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. MY WHOLE BACKYARD LOOKS LIKE THE CHARACTER STRIPS FROM THE GREMLINS MOVIE. I sent pics to the office and Melinda told me they would be out the next day. They never showed up so I called back the next day and she told me that its normal for the grass not to look perfect. I am reporti g company to the BBB. Thanks for a terrible job.

Mow-it-Righ has our lawn looking great, no weeds and if we see any trying to sneak in we just call and they come out ASAP and take care of it with no extra charge. Up. I have been with Mow it right for several years now. They use to be really good and take pride in their work. They were reasonable in pricing and I ve enjoyed their services except for this year. The customer service has really been down. The guys mowing just want to knock the top off of the grass...when I asked to cut lower. They run when cutting and leave high spots all over the yard. When I call the office, they either don t answer or answer the phone like they were tired or bothered. But the main thing is that they called to tell me that my grass was overgrown and because they did not come and cut it due to the rain we ve had and they got behind, then I ll have to pay an additional 30 dollars to have my grass cut or go to an every week service to get it cut for the regular payment. Really? So you re going to get back the money that you lost due to the rain any way you can. Not from this customer! I don t know if it s my race or they ve just deemed me a difficult customer because I won t allow them to take my money and treat me any kind of way but I do know one thing...it s more than one company that mows lawns! Good riddance!!

Very disappointed. I just had surgery and called them that I just need one mowing and lawn care service. She immediately told me no and that they have a 4 minimum visit. Which I understand. However I also wanted to do a total landscaping renovation that would have been very expensive that I also wanted to do with them. The lady on the phone stated it was a different department so it didnt matter. In my opinion thats not how businesses should work. I am now signing a several thousand dollar contract with a new landscaping company because she didnt throw a bone. Good job lady on the phone.

This company did an awful job on my lawn. The rate they charge to mow your lawn is reasonable but the work they do is horrible. At my property they mowed the lawn and left all the cut grass on the lawn which not only looks bad but has caused my entire lawn to die. When I called her to discuss the cut grass left on my lawn I was told they leave the cut grass because it makes mulch for the lawn. When I asked about trimming my hedges and asked them to use a weed eater to cut the grass from a flower box underneath a bedroom window I was told they charge $300. an hour for that type of work.

Mow It Right is a great landscaping business. We have used them for about 4 or 5 years. The quality of the work depends on the crew that comes out. They seem more interested in getting in and out as quickly as they can. Sometimes its ok, other times we shake our heads. There was an incident this year when it appeared that they were done for the year (early to mid-October). Thats when I noticed that I was still paying every week for a cutting that wasnt happening. I called and was told that they quit in mid-November. I explained that they hadnt been there since early October. And it wasnt because I just missed them - I work from home and am there everyday. The lady on the phone said that she could only refund one week. She said that she would tell management and that they would get back to me. Never happened. So even though they are good when they are good, the incident is making me rethink who does my lawn this coming Summer.

I have used Mow It Right for 5 years. They are quick and affordable. Only dislike is that they do not bag the grass but I knew that upfront when I hired them. If you want prompt, mowing, edging, weed eating weekly or every other week at a good value, use Mow it Right!

I can always depend on Mow it Right to come and take care of my yard on the day they are scheduled to be here. Even with bad weather there have only been a very few days that they did not make it. The workers and the customer service representatives are always kind and competent. Their customer service rep sent a letter to my HOA at the very beginning of the season when I had received a very untimely notice about my yard. She gave them my yard schedule and assured them everything would be in tact. Mow it Right is a good company.

Never let me know when they were coming so my gate was locked. Charged me for cutting the front and back lawn and hadn t cut the back in over 1.5 months.

Terrible service look like, the kids in neighborhood can did the job, half cut my yard; cut my plant around my mailbox i know they saw that big purple bloom and did mot touch the out grown weeds in my yard, but rep girl take the call say they do not cut in flower beds so why they cut my plant down around my flower it has black lining bed....

Mowing service was subpar at best. After many complaints received one call from owner who was less than concerned. Added bed service when I decided to put my house on the market. They left weeds 2 feet tall in the bed. I have pics to prove it yet they wanted to argue the validity of my complaint and wanted to charge me to return. After I shut that thought down they came out at no charge and did half of 1 of the 3 beds. The owners are MIA, they do not return calls but instead leave it to the less than friendly person that answers the phones; who never remembers to schedule service but is quick to draft your bank account. Owners need to get their business under control before they find themselves out of business.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. They did a terrible job mowing my front lawn leaving a strip of grass uncut on the side of my home and cut grass all over my yard, driveway, sidewalk and porch. They didnt even attempt to cut my back yard but charged me $34 for front and back. And they had plenty access to it. My bank account was charged again $34 dollars a second time and nobody has even been out to render any services nor do I even want them to come back because of horrible job that they did the first time. The receptionist said a refund will be issued. We shall see....

I used Mow it Right for two years!! Needed a favor (edging and blowing ONLY) done the same day. Even though Im less than 10 minutes from their office. They wouldnt do it. It would have taken 2 guys less than 15 minutes. I will not recommend them, as I have been for years!!

BE AWARE! The call taker person MANDY is a rude and discourteous person and appears to not be a value to the company at all. She is either just ignorant of the company and equipment or just a LIAR. When we called about the service we were told that the company uses zero-turn mulching deck mowers that WOULD NOT leave a trail of clippings in the yard, driveway, sidewalk, etc. We were very adamant about not having the clippings thrown everywhere. Being an elderly veteran I asked if I could get a discount and was told flatly NO WE DONT DO THAT, WE DONT OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR OLD PEOPLE OR VETERANS. We asked to speak with the crew leader, and was told, WE DONT KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR TO TALK WITH YOU ...IF YOU SEE THE CREW YOU CAN TALK TO THEM. But then continued to require OUR Credit Card information because they do auto billing. THEY WANT NO CONTACT BETWEEN THE CREW AND THE CUSTOMER AT ALL. We asked around what time the crew would be here and were told the computer schedules everything and she did not know. On Tuesday, 10/9, the crew arrived around 4:30pm with 2 mowers NEITHER ONE WAS SET UP TO MULCH THE CLIPPINGS !! .. After one cut by each machine, throwing clippings at least 10 feet out the side of each mower into the yard, I stopped the crew and asked why the machines were throwing clippings out into my yard? They said This is the way the shop mechanic set the mowers and we are not able to change it. I told them the equipment was NOT supposed to do that according to both MANDY and MELINDA... the crew acknowledged who MANDY and MELINDA were, then packed up and left. I called the office but got no answer so left a voicemail with this same information. The next day I called and spoke again with MANDY.. SUCH A NASTY RUDE PERSON. I asked to speak to the owner and was told the owner is hardly ever there; that she was in charge. While I was speaking about my concerns, she broke in, interrupted me and said.. Mr. Grammer, I have cancelled your service with us and deleted your account... have a nice day. ...and then she hung up on me. IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS I WOULD.. and we will be asking to remove them from our community contractor list. The owner of this company should RECORD ALL BUSINESS CALLS.. that way this unprofessional and nasty person named MANDY would be proven.

I have used Mow It Right for many years, and in October, I had a concern about my services. I was extremely pleased with the follow-up by Mandy and even the owner, Chris. I never called back because there was no need. The concern shown spoke volumes. I will definitely be using them again!

Mow It Rite truck ran a stop sign and turned in front of my husband and me. My husband blew the horn and the young man stuck his arm out of the window and gave us the bird. Will buy a goat before calling this company.

They will definitely cut your grass good and on a set scheduled. What they also did was bring weeds to my weed free lawn by not cleaning the blades of their lawn mowers. This cost me extra money because I had to pay the lawn company to do multiple spraying to kill weeds I should not have had to begin with.

Im very disappointed with Mow it Right. I have two friends that are having the same problems with the crew missing areas in the yard that were left uncut. Mow It Right does not weed eating like they should. The yards that they have cut for my family and friends doesnt look the picture in their add. They came out the second time and it wasnt done correctly and that was the fourth time in two weeks. They want you to send them pictures to their email of where and how the crew messed up. And they have a attitude about their mistakes when you call. If you want a manicured yard DONT CALL MOW IT RIGHT!!!!! They need to look into some of there polices about what they dont do in your yard. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. I WILL POST PICTURES IF REQUESTED!!!!! Mow it Right cancelled their service to my mothers home after I complained . I spoke with Chris the owner and he had nothing but excuses for the horrible jobs they had done on my mothers yard. I had a new mowing service come out today and the did a AWESOME JOB on my mothers yard. What a difference in professionalism and job performance. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! AND THE ONLY REASON THAT I GAVE THEM ONE STAR IS BECAUSE GOOGLE WANT ALLOW ME TO GIVE NO STARS!!!!!!

Very poor job. These guys spend 5 minutes at our property on a yard that should take 20-30 minutes. One guy will come through to blow the clippings while the the other is only halfway through with edging, leaving clippings on the sidewalk and driveway. The person mowing literally runs through the yard to get it done as quickly as possible. This most recent visit, they didnt even use a mower. They used a weed-eater to cut the entire yard. Last year they were at least tolerable in their job. It got done and looked ok. But it has gotten worse and I would not recommend Mow It Right to anyone.

The first few weeks they never even mowed our front yard, only used a weed eater. It wasnt until I called and requested that they actually use a lawn mower that they finally did. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when it came to my back yard initially because its very uneven. But after actually watching them mow it one day I realized its their error. They are literally running while cutting the yard, theres not enough time for the lawn mower to actually cut the grass!!! So many spots are obviously missed and it looks terrible! After the very first time they came out my husband asked when they were supposed to cut the grass, I said they already came! I know they say let them know and they will come out and fix it, but why should I have to call every time? Why not mow it right the first time?

I wish I hadve looked at Google reviews before setting up services with Mow It Wrong. The first time they did a poor job so I called and told the office person that we felt like the job has been done too quickly because there were patches of grass that had been missed. She then told me that it was probably because the mowers said our grass was too high although it had been mowed less than two weeks before. So we gave them one more try and the second job was even worse than the first, lots of patches all over the yard of missed grass, uneven heights all over the yard and areas that were not even weed eated. My husband sent an email asking for either someone to fix the job or refund our money since there is a satisfaction guarantee but when we didnt hear anything back we just decided to cancel services altogether.

I agree these people are horrible at their job. I wish I had read the reviews also and saved myself time and money. They do a very sloppy and poor job, it looked so messy and unprofessional I think I could of done a better job than them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This company is a disgrace, I wish Id read these reviews prior to signing up with them. They did not edge, they missed spots and grass clippings were EVERYWHERE including my swimming pool. Very sloppy work, my 10 year old son does a much better job for FREE!!! They should change their name to F___ IT Up, because thats what they do. Listen to me and the other reviewers. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

This lawn service should not be allowed to service people based on their atrocious work. They dont rake the extra grass. The dont do a pattern, as my moms yard looks ridiculous. Looks like my 4 & 6 year old cut her grass. They are horrible and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE USES THEM. If I could give a 0 I would.

This company is horrible. They rush through the job and will not cut your grass evenly. They even missed sections of my yard. I emailed and then called to ask them to come out and correct the issue. They refused to do that. They have destroyed some of my property. They will not pick up anything they knock over on your property either. Their customer service is horrible. Please, do not waste your money. Go somewhere else! They will also cancel your service if you complain. They did it to me. Clearly I am not the issue. They have numerous bad reviews with the same complaints from others.

Weve had multiple issues with this company! From them leaving our gate open and our dogs getting out (which of course they blamed on us for not checking), to their lazy workers sitting on our patio furniture and kids playset, to lawn clipping everywhere, every time! There have also been times when they have cut our front yard and not the back, and when we call to complain, they say it was because the dogs were out (even the times we werent home and our dogs were locked in the house as we never leave them out when we arent home). They are lazy, excuse making, inconsistent and unprofessional. We are moving and will NOT be taking them with us.

Absolutely horrible! I call last year to set up an appointment. No one ever showed up or called. I needed service this yearn so i tried again. On a Monday, i was told someone would come out Wednesday. Wednesday late evening..i got a call saying the crew had equipment issues and it would be Friday now. Friday came, no one showed up or called so i was done with them. Saturday afternoon..two guys pulled up in front of my house and just sat there smoking cigarettes for about 30 minutes. I left the house to run errands..them still inside the vehicle. When i got back after an hour or so..my grass hadnt been cut. Monday evening when i got home my grass had been cut and a sign left in yard. It was below average work but thats what you get so cheap. Every ten days they came out and cut grass. I eventually cancelled after coming home to find paper cut up in my yard and them having run over my patio umbrella cover in the backyard as well as grass clippings blown in the street. I called and left a voice mail message to cancel my service..never got so much as a call back..never again. Even if they offering free services !

I have a small yard so few areas to make mistakes. They initially didnt weedeat along the outside of my fence but I only had to ask once for them to consistently do it. My only problem is that they do sometimes leave my gate open; I have just made it a habit to check before I let the dogs out. No big deal. Works for me for the price.
