I used to do my own lawn then came to a point in my life where I needed help . Called Heritage and wondered why I did not do this sooner. Always kind and knew what they were talking about. My company, Pristine Landscapes, uses and suggests Heritage to all our clients. Heritage is NOT like your other fertilizer companies. They are a step ABOVE. While many companies use fertilizer to make the grass blades green, Heritage focuses on the overall plant health. This includes a deeper dive into your lawn than just throwing down fertilizer real quick. Soil and root health are critical to a healthy lawn. The other major thing that sets Heritage about is the customer service and honesty. They accidently treated my neighbors lawn instead of mine (the house numbers look similar, easy mistake). When I notified them, they took ownership for the small mistake and treated my lawn right away. They also opened a door of communication for our neighbors should they have any concerns/questions.

It is rare that I write reviews, but Heritage earned this review today. Pat came over as I had four sprinkler heads that mysteriously stopped working. It took a lot of investigation and it was finally determined that years ago, another company (not Heritage) planted a tree on top of our sprinkler line. As the tree grew, the roots squeezed the line and cut off the water supply to the four heads. He, and a coworker, worked on freeing up that water line and re-routing it for over two hours until the system was in good working condition. All of my irrigation and weed control programs go through Heritage now - you should consider the same. Thank you for all of your hard work today!

Justin provided one of the best customer experiences Ive had in a while. He was on time, explained everything he was doing giving me choices on what to DYI vs. have him do, and walked me through every bit of the operation of the system. We inherited the system from the previous owner and I hadnt been able to get it to run right which he fixed then educated me on how I could tweak each of the sprinklers and why I was having some of my issues. He was very well versed and able to explain it to me in a way that was very easy to understand and grasp. To top it all off he was just coming off his second vaccine shot and powering through the side effects! Very impressive. If youre looking for help on your sprinkler system look no further.

05/27/2020 UPDATE: We were assigned Stephanie DuPont. Amazing, beyond belief. Kind, professional, exact application... Highly, highly recommend Heritage. Our fourth company that we have had. Been with Heritage for years and plan to continue!!!! We have been at this address for 18 years and have had four lawn service companies. Heritage has been our choice for the last five years. They are prompt, professional, reasonable and most importantly, effective.

Michael Stauffer was a good technician with Heritage Lawns & Irrigation. He came out to fix our problem. He also fixed the neighbors problem on the same trip. I highly recommend them to anyone needing help with irrigation systems.

Jared came out to provide estimates for several repairs. He was courteous and professional. He wore a mask the entire time (we were outside). He was not hurried or rushed. He took the time to explain multiple scenarios and options. I have not gotten any repairs done as of yet, but I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Alex is efficient and effective. Very thorough with his inspection and tweaks to the system.

We chose Heritage Lawns & Irrigation to winterize/blow out our sprinkler system. We were scheduled for 7:30 am and the worker, Justin, was there early. He was professional and kind throughout the process. Will definitely give them a call back for the Spring!

The driver was speeding (at least 85 in 65) and would tailgate everyone really closely in the left lane, and sometimes would weave in and out. If that s how they drive, then imagine how they work on your lawn.

I read all the great reviews and talked with a couple neighbors who also loved them. Unfortunately, we cant get someone to make it here to give us an estimate for an irrigation system. The worst was the text message I received at 7:35am letting me know he wasnt going to be in the office that day and he had completely forgot our appointment that he set with me for 11am that day. We will be moving on to a company that actually cares about and wants our business.

Over the many years I have used Heritage for various services, have always found them to be very helpful....also honest, without the hard sell approach.

Had an issue with one of our irrigation pipes, and they instantly worked around the schedule to get someone to see me the next day. Was blown away by that as they are in peak season. Justin has been great, Jaimie was incredible and couldn t say anything more about how nice they were to help.

Fantastic service. Had three issues and a mystery to solve. Chris came out and solved all of them. He had wonderful incite into the issues and did not tear up the lawn and the pricing was reasonable. They are now my irrigation specialists.

They were very nice to me. All the way from the initial bid through servicing my installed sprinkler system. The system has worked really well. Except when one of the lines broke and created a small puddle in my yard. But I called them and they came over very quickly to solve the problem. They also automatically schedule my maintenance program, which is nice. They have also been very accommodating when I need to change times.

We used Heritage to shut down our sprinkler and winterize our backflow device in Dec 2016, in May 2017, when it was time to turn it back on, the system they reportedly winterized was cracked and when we inquired why water was still in the pipes they shared there was no proof that they didnt clear water and shared our system was faulty. They had replaced a part for the backflow valve and since then all Spring in 2017 the system was knocking. They returned, reviewed their work and stated our homes system was just faulty. Given the home is 18 years old, has never had prior issues and is in a fairly updated subdivision, we were sure the new noise was due to their work and not pipes or faulty systems. We changed to a new irrigation specialist to turn off the system this time and turn it back on and we received a second opinion from them and a respected plumbing company. Clearly the valves and workmanship are issues and pointed out when water runs throughout the house, the pipes are fine, its the workmanship on the valve and backflow system they repaired. I called Heritage today to return now that we are back in season to review this and they refused to come out again since the person who answered was the person who came out previously. Therefore, my only recourse to hold the person who addressed the repair accountable now is to file formal complaints against a company who will not even return to review what they may have done wrong restricting the water flow through the valves to flow properly. Of course an irrigation specialist will ultimately address the issue of someone elses poor quality work, but this level of investment in time and cost is unfortunate and unacceptable. We lost connection today as I took the phone out of range to look and listen to the system as I described the issues, but I didnt bother calling them back after getting such a run around. The back and forth with any current or past customer is unusual and unprofessional. Just returning to look again as its clear the issues started under their irrigation involvement is concerning and again unfortunate. Beware of this company.

I just made a phone call to Heritage Lawn stating that I was interested in installing a sprinkler and irrigation system at my home. Without any questions or any additional information provided, I was told Our systems start at $5K-$6K and we are scheduling into June. The woman I spoke with was polite, and I appreciate her candor and the intention behind this statement - setting clear expectations and timelines - but this struck me as odd. If regardless of factor, any and all systems start at $5K, then so be it. But if there are factors, such as lot size, equipment needs and desires, etc that impact how much these goods and services cost, and there is any scenario in which a system would cost less than $5K, then how many potential customers are steered away without further interaction? Again, I appreciate the intention not to waste either parties time if practical expectations can t be met, and if this is consistent with your standard operating procedure then there s been no wrongdoing, but I would have thought there would have been more exploratory questions and on-site visit before I was immediately quoted a price.

Jeremy is the best! What a laid-back, easy to work with kind of guy. Jeremy came out and assessed the leak in my irrigation system and got right on it. I was so impressed with his expertise, that I decided to ask him to assess my current set-up. He was knowledgeable and explained exactly where he would suggest changes and why. Have used this company for several years now with great success. Recently, Michael arrived for our appointment right on time, checked our system carefully, and brought to my attention our water shutoff valve inside the house was not sealing correctly, resulting in visible drips outside; I appreciated him saying something. He reported back what needed to be done in this visit for my pre-approval of scope/cost. He even found a lost sprinkler head buried under a landscaping wall by another contractor about 10+ years ago, that was resulting in the bed under our A/C unit settling more than normal, and we agreed he would try to locate and cap off that line, which he did. Cost for this: $5. He also took about 15 minutes time to listen to our future plans for our backyard and how it would impact the sprinkler system, and we decided on a specific future plan of action for that. Cost for this: $0. He fixed the two heads that needed replacing, gave me a guided tour of the new Hydrawise smart controller they installed in December, and setup all the settings per my choices. Overall, Heritage provides great service for an always fair price, and never trying to sell me something I do not need or want. We are one very satisfied customer. Phil Murray, Olathe, KS.

I called Heritage mid March to have someone come out and aerate my yard, it is now mid May. I have called multiple times over the past two months and always get the same answer that you are scheduled for a few days from now. After seeing all these scheduled dates come and go with no courtesy call, I finally decided to cancel.

Worse service ever!! Made an apppintment, scheduled 2 weeks out.. turns out the day of my appt came no one ever arrived. After contacting them it turns out I was not in their calander. So I was given a new appt for the next day. Took off early from work again and received a phone call from Jeremy that some how he was given the wrong address. Sounded pretty fishy to me. Provided him with my address for like the 10th time, After no one showing up I finally decided to cancel. I had enough waiting on them and being lied to. Btw when I called all he said okay like if he didnt care.. Again actions talk real bad about this company and their customer service.

Moved into house in 2007 that Heritage put sprinkler system in when new in 2004. They have always given outstanding service and early to appointments. Michael and Jacob went the extra mile today found a leak and fixed before it got out of control. Good service always and very reasonable prices for repairs sprinkler heads etc. always professional and would definitely recommend Heritage for new installation or maintenance on an existing system. Theyre extremely knowledgeable and take care of their customers.

We have used Heritage for several years and they have done a good job with our 20-year-old sprinkler system. They are timely when called to troubleshoot and are honest about the problem and give options for resolving it.

I have taken care of my lawn for 10 years. The majority of the time I was successful (except for figuring out when to apply fertilizer in July/August). Anyway, I started with Heritage last fall when they core aerated and winterized my lawn. My lawn looks very healthy this spring and I look forward to a fantastic lawn this year!! Also, about a week ago I called Heritage to see if someone could change a damaged sprinkler head. The next day, Blake was in the area and dropped by to fix the problem AND he adjusted the rest of my sprinklers. - Very friendly and easy going customer service. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased a house with a Heritage sprinkler system installed. When it came time to ask them for help turning it on, they told us they wouldnt be able to help us for at least 1.5 months. In the mean time, our lawn will likely die. BE CAREFUL if you choose to have one of their systems installed. If you ever need help, it wont be there!

Weve been clients for a few years now and have always had a great experience with Heritage and their technician Joey. Hes been out to our house to help with broken sprinkler heads, damage done by utility contractors, the annual winterizing and to address homeowner errors with the systems. We appreciate their honesty with us and have not had any issues. Their prices are reasonable too!

I called for an appointment to get a quote on installing irrigation systems. First thing that came out of c/s mouth was just to let you know its runs about 4-5 thousand dollars. Nobody has been at my house yet!

I saw all the great reviews, and decided that a nice lawn was worth the investment. I was very much looking forward to having a nice lawn, unfortunately, this company have been pretty unreliable with contacting me. I can t even get somebody to come over or call me to set up getting you paid and having service started. I have received a quote, and emailed a Lacey, but that is as far as we have gotten. So far I have been told that someone would be in contact today twice since September 16th and still no contact. Maybe it is a good sign that they are super busy, but it is unfortunate that they dont want new customers, that means their current customers will have to pay all the bills for them. I suppose at this point I will try to find another company to complete my lawn care, I an very disappointed and was very much looking forward to using their services, so many people have liked them. I just cant see paying a company a bunch of money up front when they cant call or return emails promptly, seems shady. Update: On October 2nd I finally received a call back from them, I was unable to pick up and sent an email back since it was late and I didnt want to be rude and call a cell phone back after 9pm. On the 3rd I got a call back from Matt who was the route manager and was informed that they were not willing to service me unless I removed my review, when I told them it was a legitimate concern, I was reminded that I wasnt even a customer yet. I till him I wasnt willing to remove the review just yet and he told me we shouldnt work together then, this isnt a good way to start a business relationship then said goodbye. I guess at least he tried to be professional. They obviously are too busy to accept new customers. Thats what I get for trying to support local business. I would look elsewhere.

I have used Heritage Lawns for lawn maintenance and irrigation for 15 years and have always been extremely pleased with the service and the product. The customer service and expertise from the employees to Wes is way above expectation especially in todays times when it is more about job efficiency and moving onto the next yard. Wes and his team stay current to the issues and the products that are used to to treat the lawns in Kansas and just staying on top of the Kansas issues is not an easy task. They are constantly assessing the products to obtain the best results for the lawn and the enviroment. The team can spot the issues and provide the appropriate treatment and owner guidelines which to follow is a must and I see the results. I would highly recommend Wes, hiis team and Heritage Lawns.

BAD BUSINESS ETHICS AND STUPID COMPANY POLCIES.................I am not sure whether the above reviews are even from customers. However, I cannot agree with them with my experience. I was quoted for my lawn @$55 +Tax per application for the last year. They send me a renewal quote in Jan at the same price for this year (2013) also and when it was time for the first application, at the end moment; their sales person told me that the price will be $95 per application (Discounted rate $78 +Tax). What is the guarantee with this company that they would not quote me $150 next year, if I were to keep them? Even though they advertise that the aeration is included in their program, you are charged extra for that; so make sure you are aware of that. I am not quite sure whether they even actually do the fertilization or just put the bill. After spending Approx. $500 last year for their program, I have not seen any color difference (healthy look) in my grass, nor seen any significant improvements in weed control as well as grubs in my lawn. The only thing they did was that they come out and did the weed spraying with grumbling. I WILL NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR A LONG TERM RELIABLE SERVICE.

Heritage Irrigation installed a lawn irrigation system as well as helped project manage our large whole back yard landscaping project. Wes was the utmost professional and listened to our concerns and presented us with the best option for our irrigation needs. The team made sure we were comfortable with how the system worked and even showed us how to adjust the sprinkler heads if we needed to. In addition, Wes helped coordinate the sod installation and worked with our Landscaping company to ensure that everything was timed appropriately.
