Last year I went with Trugreen to treat the yard, trees and shrubs. There have been so many problems I don t know where to start. I just want to speak with someone with a manager. 10/2024 EDIT: Oct 2023 a manager came to my house and I was offered a free service and aeration for next spring. This was because the condition on our lawn had not improved after using Trugreen all spring/summer. After the free services in spring 2024 I started receiving notices to pay my bill. I spoke with someone at Trugreen who said she updated their system and I didn t owe them anything. Well I started getting debt collection letters in the mail. So I called again and spoke to a guy for way too long about the situation and he assured me it was updated in their system and I did not owe anything. Well, I just got another letter attempting to collect a debt for Trugreen today! I didn t even want you all to come out again for that last free service. The worst thing about this is that our yellow lab got lymphoma and he isn t with us anymore. He was fine April 2023 when he had his bloodwork done. Exactly 1 year later in April of 2024 we found out he had cancer.

They were good, I have no complaints! Friendly too! I hope I can get rid of those gaint weeds! I have been watering & it looks better than it did! What do we do now? What is next, I love having a beautiful yard!

TruGreen began servicing my yard approximately 3 years ago. At the time, I had more weeds than grass. I dont have weeds now, I have beautiful, soft bermuda grass I can walk on barefoot! My lawn has never looked better and Im so thankful for TruGreen! Thank you TruGreen!!

The problem I have with these guys is communication. My backyard is abundant with Sandburs, when I call to ask if what they are spraying is effective for sandburrs I get someone in a call center in God knows where who has never heard of sandburrs. Its like asking for help at Walmart. I even asked for a phone number for a local customer service agent or manager and was told they did not have one. All I want is someone knowledgeable to communicate with me. I cant get that here.

The worst service I have dealt with from a company in years. First I was double billed and they couldnt figure out why. $555 out of my account that no one could account for. Then on the first service the tech did not treat for crab grass which was my primary concern stated when I signed up. He walked over the giant patch of it multiple times spreading fertilizer but did not spray it at all. When I called about it I cant get ahold of anyone local and cant find a way to speak to an English speaking person. Im done with with. They still charged me for the service where they didnt do what I asked.

I called this company specially for stickers in my yard. My yard is still currently full of stickers and I still have to pay 300.00$ for services that did NOT work!! Do not use trugreen! Its a scam. There products do NOT work and youll be stuck with a high bill and the original problem. I am so FRUSTRATED and I STILL have to pay the bill!! I WILL NEVER share trugreen as a reliable company for yard services! They suck! Go somewhere else!

The two girls that came this time were super nice! I had lots of questions and while one was a trainee the other one knew everything about what I was asking. Both were very patient with me as I followed them around and pointed out things I needed sprayed!

Service is fine most of the time. What I dont like is when the person coming to treat your lawn never comes back to your door after theyre finished they just leave! I may have some questions about what they did or anything but when theyre gone I dont have that option. That should be a customer service automatic thing. I could understand if someones not home, but if you know theyre home ring the doorbell when youre done so youll find out if that person has a question or not for you. Im not sure what she used to determine what treatment your yard needs. I have sod for my lawn so I dont need fertilizer because my grass is healthy and very thick. My main concern is weeds because I have neighbors that do nothing to take care of their lawns, so I receive all their weeds when the wind blows or however they get there. So I would think that TruGreen would know that by looking at and seeing my yard that my main problem is weeds and not needing to be fertilized.

Called for bug spray, they imitated me with constant constant text messages, and when i tried to respond, nothing!! Today a spray team arrived at my address, and wanted to spray on a wet stormy day!! I expect that most of the star rating are as phony as they are!!

Our backyard is quite shady and it has always been difficult to get grass growing everywhere. TruGreen killed all the weeds but they did a poor job of reseeding. To add to the fun they only plant Fescue and only in the early fall. Now half of my back yard is a muddy mess . Hubby has a heart of gold and decided to give them another chance in spite of 12 months with no improvement in our grass. To reward us for staying with TruGreen, the tech left the gate open allowing our 1 year old dog to escape. That tech also claimed to have treated my whole yard that day but when I went outside as soon as he left to search for my dog, my dirt was dry and there were no granules. It is impossible to get anyone local on the phone. Instead you ll get to speak with an anonymous agent in an undisclosed location. If you are lucky, you might get a call back from a local office - 3 days later. Save yourself the hassle and go with a local company. They earn the 2 stars because they did kill weeds (that pesky clover!) but the patches of grass that were among the clover also died. If you just want to kill weeds and love mud- this might be the company for you.

The best thing about their service is that it works! We went years spending money on chemicals and never being satisfied with the results. When we realized that TruGreen s service would cost about the same as we were spending on chemicals, we decided to give them a try. And now our lawn looks amazing.

Tyler came to my door & politely introduced himself. He was knowledgeable & gave me a tip about watering. And I was very please with his work.

Extremely unprofessional serviceman. An individual employed by Trugreen, rang our doorbell (despite our no ring sign). Myself, not being a customer, advised the individual again about the sign, and that were not expecting an appointment that day. He proceeded to enter our backyard, uninvited, and begun spraying our yard. I then approached him in my backyard, and told him we are not paying customers, and as stated up front, were not expecting any services. He was extremely rude, went to grab his laptop to confirm service address, and realized he had the wrong address. At no point in time did this individual apologize for his actions or attitude. Unacceptable.

They do an acceptable job but nothing special. Although the word green is in their name, the only thing green is the grass. Other services put green or colored dye in the treatment. So, you can see whether they covered all the area. TruGreen doesnt do this and sometimes they skip part of the yard. At least thats been my personal experience.

Superb job spraying everywhere, checking on dog before entering backyard. Really appreciate the tracking bc it doesn t waste my time waiting hours. Professionalism when approaching front door.

I made the BIG mistake in hiring Trugreen to treat my lawn in early 2023 because of the many promises made. The results were not very pleasing. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I let them go. Wasted my money. Shame on them! In January 2024, a new Trugreen Manager shows up with many more promises of fulfilling their responsibility to treat the weeds and being more customer-focused. He stated that most of the other 2023 Trugreen employees were fired and now they have a new and better philosophy to care for its customers. What happened? I hired them back. I spent over $240 in weed treatment in 2 months. It seemed that Trugreen was FEEDING the weeds instead of KILLING them. That new Trugreen Manager making all those promises was fired himself. Totally irresponsible. I let them go once again. This time, shame on me for trusting them!!!! I will never hire them...ever again. Please, dont waste your hard-earned money. Dont believe any of their promises. They just seem to be out to make a quick buck from gullible customers like me. There are many other excellent weed treatment companies out there. Elite Lawn Care comes to mind. I just hired them. They seem to be very responsible and complying with what they promised. Good luck.

Truth greens teams been really good to me. Ive had a few callbacks, but theyre always there to take care of us. And this whole first year is been incredible. Ive got so much green grass everywhere. Its amazing, and everyones very analogible. What theyre doing and what is going on? Supervisors and 4 mans have been very helpful. Also, all yet to do is give them a call. Theyll help you out.

Been using a different service prior. Did a great job but had to put my service on pause during / after the COVID due to budget issues. Tried to start up again but was going to cost an arm and a leg due to inflation and inability to get reliable product. Tried on my own, but Oklahoma weeds are no joke, each year its something different and this year I realized I am loosing the battle. Hired TruGreen as they had great reviews and clients. Only had the first round or 2 done this year as I am getting in late in the game, but just the time one of the reps took to explain the process, how I can improve on my watering and timing and frequency, is more than any other previous company spent time with. That alone is a great help as I am not very much of a green thumb. Obviously if I need TruGreen help. That alone is my reason to give the 5 stars. All companies pretty much state they are going to do the service, but this one at least took the time to stop, explain, and encourage proper lawn care. Many thanks TruGreen for nice reps. ENJOY!

I have used them for several years and generally been okay with them. They want to be on and off your lawn in six minutes though. I feel like they were sold or something changed as I feel like their service and their attitude has gone very much to the dogs in the last year, almost feel like they have ripped me off and overcharged. Not happy with them or their attitude, I do believe they charged me for $268 for a treatment that they didnt even do. I fired them. I spoke to no one at your company about this. How could you do anything else for me when you havent done anything for me to begin with.

Completed yard ph this afternoon. One of the many things I like about Trugreen is they notify you in advance of the treatment and there arrival.
