Weed Man Lawn Care in Ogden

I have an obvious sign on my doorbell that says do not knock or ring the door bell because my baby is napping. I have on video a sales rep come, read the sign, and continue to knock twice. Making my dog bark and waking my baby from his nap. Why???? Seriously??? Like that s going to make me want to buy anything from you or support your business.

Cant read a no soliciting sign.

I ve been happy with Weedman as a service. Weeds are gone and our grass looks better. Unfortunately I can only give them three stars because their scheduling practices are terrible. I ended up canceling and going with another service because I got fed up dealing with an archaic system that can t schedule you more than a day out. You never know when they re going to come, you just get a text the day before. We also requested certain days because we have dogs and someone has to be around to put them inside, but those instructions were ignored regularly. If you don t care about these things you ll probably be happy with the service but for me it became a dealbreaker.

When we moved to our home last fall the whole yard was a mess of weeds. Weed Man has helped us kill off the weeds and get our yard ready to seed over with grass. Theyve been amazing!

My yard was a weed forest, literally just wanted to dig up and start over! After just the first application 99% of the weeds are all dead with just a few dandelions left of billions. A few mows later and my lawn is growing full and more luscious with the crab grass starting to dissappear! Huge thanks! I feel like there is a yard work tending now!

My yard has been almost 50% weeks due to secondary water after1 treatment almost ALL the weeds are dead and brown today we had our second treatment and I m soo excited to see how much better it gets. I appreciate the help I received in giving me a small sign so I had phone to call if I needed. The person is quiet and leaves without needing to knock on the door again.

They are very unprofessional company. I tried for a year and a half to get my yard aerated. I finally called them and told them that they didnt have somebody out this week I would stop my service all together. They came out this week and snuck in a double aeration. I did pay for my service and the lady I talked to was very Unapologetic and did not offer any kind of compensation. So I paid my bill and told him to stop service.

Very disappointed in your door to door salesmen. Knocked MULTIPLE times on my door and also, rang the doorbell, which resulted waking up my 3 month old baby from a much needed nap. Knocking and ringing the doorbell ONCE, okay, thats fine. But whatever the hell that was, was ridiculous and off putting.

I have been struggling with field bindweed for years! I tried local weed management systems, youtube recs, and was moments from witchcraft, but Weed Man was able to help keep it all at bay! The employees are very good at making sure everything is taken care of.

Door-to-door salesman was super rude. When I referenced we had a no solicitation sign, he scoffed at me. From other reviews here, rude sales guys are common in this company. Definitely not going to win my business.

We had them come out for service one time last year. This year they have called my phone everyday for several weeks but always when I dont have it on me (during work hours). They finally found my wifes number and since she works from home she was able to pick up. The lady ignored her saying she didnt have time to discuss service due to a work meeting. She mentioned she also needed to speak with me and the lady told her that if she has a good marriage then her husband will want what she wants. A few days later I got a text saying that someone was coming out to service my home. Neither me nor my wife was expecting anyone to come and neither of us had agreed. Do not talk to this company, do not give them your number or your money. They will harass you without end and call you every day. We did cancel the service and I have not seen them yet. I guarantee you we will never be using Weed Man Lawn Care. Edit: my wife says that she did say sure at some point while trying to get off the phone so she could go to her work meeting. The misunderstanding was due to my translation. This does not change my mind about the aggressive way this company has called me for weeks on end and then tried to call my wife. She did say that she did not call Weed Man, so I dont know how you got that it was an inbound call to you. Using these types of you dont need your spouse to make decisions sales tactics is disgusting. I didnt realize you were selling used cars over there.

Illegal soliciting. Clearly a sketchy company - solicitors wouldnt leave when asked (I also have 2 no soliciting signs) and hung around at the end of my driveway for a while laughing. Had to call the cops.

Came to my door to sell their services, after I declined they said thanks and went on their way. I really appreciate that because most door salesmen dont value your time at all. Made me actually look up their company.

Door clearly says no soliciting. They solicited. I actually do need a service like this, but there s no way I m using a service that can t follow such clear instructions.

Came door to door and ignored my no soliciting sign. Then claimed were not soliciting since Im not selling anything and then proceeded to try to sell me on their services. Automatic 1 star review.

Do not hire a company with employees who cant even read No Solicitation signs. This company promotes mail tampering and just wants money to do literally no work. Just set your lawn on fire, it would be more effective!

Love Weed Man! I used them in South Carolina for over a decade before moving to Logan, Utah and, I didn t think it possible, but Weed Man here was even more friendly, responsive and effective!

My yard was a mess. I can t yet see all the good work from the weed control as it takes a while, but I see lots and lots of dead weeds. My yard looks so much better. Than it did two months ago.

Terrible! We called over a week ago to have someone come out and give us an estimate. We were told they wouldnt even consider sending someone until we paid them $75. They charged our card immediately, took our money and we havent heard from them or seen anyone from Weed Man since. They were supposed to have someone here within a week. Beware of the scam!

Weed man won the war of attrition the dandelions and milkweed were waging on my grass! When we started, the weeds out numbered the grass....thus we picked WEEDMAN. A year later, and the dandelions and milkweed are only hanging in the flowerbeds, where the bugs and bees can enjoy them. My lawn is healthy and beautiful .

He was professional and 2 emails were sent to help me with the lawns.

My lawn looked terrible this spring with dirt tracks all over it. I thought for sure I would need to rip it all up and lay new sod. Then I saw your ad and thought I would try out your fertilization and weed control services. I couldnt believe the change in just a few short months. My lawn is gorgeous now. Its full and thick and all the dirt tracks are gone. I so appreciate always being notified ahead of time when the workers will be here. And, if theres ever a reason why they cant make it, they notify you right away. I now have a beautiful full green, weed free lawn. Even my neighbors have commented on nice it looks. I hired them in the spring to lessen my burden...it is now September and I still have the same amount of weeds! They promise to come out and respray but every time I call they dodge my call! They need to be reported for scamming people. I would never write a bad review if I didnt feel this passionate about it.

We have over an acre of yard and it is been neglected over the last 5 to 7 years. Weed man has brought it back to life and its looking like now a yard that you can enjoy. A service tech is very professional and well-mannered. He shows up on time and he does a good job!

They have been caring for my lawn for 3 years now. I like them much more than the big companies. I will keep using, they do a great job keeping the weeds down, and the lawn green.

The no contract thing is about the only thing thats nice because it makes it easier to get out of doing business with with someone who cant even follow through with their end of a business deal.

I wanted someone to take care of my lawn to take the stress off of having to do it myself. Boy did I choose the wrong company for that! It has been one fiasco after another with this company. Not only did I have to call multiple times for service and still didnt get half of it, when I made my final call to cancel they charged me for a service that was suppose to be already included. I was paid up for services at this point. I only go off reviews when looking for a company to do anything or before I purchase anything so I would be doing a disservice by not posting this and saving at least one person the hassle Ive been through.
