I have been with Big League Lawns since 2018. The team is always professional, on time, and courteous. This is my third professional lawn service company over the years and they are truly the best value for the cost. Update for 2025. 8-years going and I just prepaid for the upcoming summer. Alyssa and the rest of the professional team are great. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Big League Lawns last year from a recommendation by a neighbor. With almost an acre of grass, I was tired of trying to guess on how much and when to fertilize, water, etc., and trying to do it all myself. Big League was very professional right out the gate. After the first application I know they are very passionate about what they do. Not only did they take the worry out of the equation but also offered tips on my watering and mowing schedules. It has changed my life! The only regret I have is not contacting them sooner!

Big league personnel have been friendly and courteous, and they do a good job of making sure they schedule appointments regularly. That s the good. If you want to get a lawn service that puts fertilizer on your lawn for you so you don t have to do it yourself, this is the service for you. If, on the other hand, you have an issue with bugs in the late summertime and mention they should check for that proactively (I m always at work when the tech comes by) and you re expecting them to notice things and take care of treating problem spots, this might not be the service for you. I had an issue with white moth bugs laying eggs in my lawn, their larvae eating the roots, and getting patterns of dead spots in the middle of otherwise healthy lawn. So I called, they condescendingly said it was a watering issue without even looking at it (healthy grass surrounding a small area with no roots that was obvious bug fodder), and after I made a big enough stink they grudgingly came and treated for bugs. Fast forward a year, I took care of it myself and it looked just as good if not better that year. But I got a new job so when they called, I decided to give them another shot the following spring. I made it very clear what my issue was, and was told the tech would check specifically for that issue throughout the year. There was an obvious bug-eaten spot in the front yard again, and nothing was even mentioned on their notes. And once again when I called to tell them they didn t treat for those bugs, they said their grub treatment is only once per year and they should not be expected to treat for bugs throughout the year. Needless to say, I won t be using them again. They were friendly enough people, but they didn t follow through on what they said, or with any of the asks I very clearly communicated to them. I think if I m paying for a service, part of that should be that they are the professional and don t need to be told what to do constantly. They should be noticing and treating for things as they arise.

Big League Lawns has done wonders for a grass. It has never been so green or healthy. Their customer service is top notch and they are always supportive of our hectic schedule, Alyssa was fantastic when she helped me today.

Our lawn was in pretty bad condition after last season (even while using another service provider). Honestly we strongly considered tearing it all out and starting over. We got introduced to Big League from a neighbor and gave it a try this summer and it has been an incredible transformation. Our lawn that was spotty at best is now a deep green. My lawn has been so green and healthy. I don t have to worry about when and how much to fertilize my lawn. We purchased our house about three years ago durning winter. When the snow melted we found our sprinkler system was broken and then we had the drought. We lost most of our grass that year. Since then, we ve been using big league lawn service and it has been a totally game changer. In the summer the soil bakes and it makes water penetration difficult. The soil conditioning, though an add on, has made my soil soft and springing. If you re concerned about drought and being water wise, this is definitely worth the added spring and fall fee. The techs are always fast and considerate and the office staff is extremely knowledgeable and communicative. The only suggestion I have for the company would be to invest in an automated text message service that can pair with their robo call messaging. I don t always get all of the message and having the information written down in a text string would really help as the calls are not only reminders of when techs are coming out but also lawn care and watering guides.

They have been amazing at helping me with weeds, fertilizing, as well as giving me guidance on helping my lawn be its very best. I started this service after firing my last lawn service company for not showing up when they said they did and then trying to upsell me each time by saying my trees had bugs, etc. even though I dont have any trees. I was fairly hesitant to get another but decided to trust the reviews and hope a local company would be better. I am so glad I did! Our lawn has never looked better! Everyone is very friendly. I get a personal note of things they notice when they come out along with suggestions I can do myself to fix it. I also get tips on the notes and through emails! My husband and I have noticed that our lawn stays greener longer and any weeds from the garden stop at the lawn! Thats when you know its working! If youre looking for a service like this, please call them. They are extremely comparable in price to all other companies even though they provide top tier service.

Nobody from BLL asked me to write this review as many companies do. Im writing this review because Im amazed at the level of service this company provides. Im a do it myself guy: Go to home depot or IFA and buy the weed killer, fertilizers, and apply for each of the seasons.... for the price, green grass w/ no weeds, time savings and reporting the technicians provide after each visit - this is a no brainer financially. If I call with any concerns, a technician is back at my home within 24hrs to check and remedy. These guys know how to run a top class business..... very rare now days.... they stand out. Well done!!!

I ve really enjoyed using these guys. Every one of the guys that came out to spray has been respectful and thorough. And this includes the guys on the phone. They always call to remind you they are coming out, give extra tips if you ask and I ve never felt rushed on the phone. My lawn looked great when I was using them. Their prices are reasonable and they will do their best to work with your budget. Best of all- NO CONTRACTS!! Unfortunately, inflation has taken its toll on me and I had to cut back on extra expenses. I do hope I ll be in a position to use them again. Highly recommend.

When we first bought our house, the yard was overgrown and almost unmanageable due to weeds, grubs, and dying grass. This is our second year with Big League lawns, and our grass is green, grows so quickly we have to cut it weekly, and is weed free without so much labor. I have been using Big League Lawns for a few years now and am continually pleased with their excellent service. When I started with Big League my lawn was in such bad shape that I was about to tear it out and start over. I had tried other lawn care services and have always been disappointed. I even tried applying step applications from Nurseries and still no luck. However within a couple applications from Big League I was already seeing marked improvement. However I today I wanted to give a High 5 to the technician Kai who noticed some particular problems developing and immediately made sure those areas were specially treated. Its care, friendliness, and attention to detail like Kais that makes Big League stand above the rest. I also called into the office, and Taylor cheerfully helped me with some questions I had. From office to Tech to beautiful lawn, Big League is who I recommend.

Our lawn was a hassle to treat and manage ourselves, we have hade big League treat for the last few months and it hasnt ever looked this good. Highly recommend and we will be using them for the years to come.

My lawn was struggling at the beginning of spring and was filled with clover-like weeds and dandelions that I didn t have the time to keep up with. It took a few weeks for them all to die (which I was told is normal). The lawn looks great now after 2-3 sprays all grass, no weeds, and solid green.

This locally owned companys sales process was so refreshing! I spoke with Nick and he explained the different services and ran a real time quote for our yard. It was almost comical how on point the email was with some of the stereotypical big company sales tactics to watch for. After researching 3 companies I was happy to commit to BLLs. They came out today for their first visit and were efficient, professional, and made sure all my questions were answered. Looking forward to seeing the results!

*Edit 1- I received a call from the owner regarding my review. I found him to be responsive to my concerns. We talked about those concerns and how he would address them. I also am trying them out on a trial basis for a few treatments to see how the product works for my lawn. So for this I have increased them from 1 star to 3. I will edit this again after seeing if there are results in my lawn but so far we are trending in the right direction. Got a call from Andy today. Lots of talk about how great they are and down talk from him towards other companies. Tried every trick in the book with me, once I said I didnt have a card to leave him right then, the conversation tenor changed. I said I was sorry I dont have a card to give you right then to meet your urgency. Asked me to get a debit or other card to secure my spot in their high traffic business. This stuff should be done without the high pressure sales approach. They may have a great product, sadly I wont find out because of this type of approach. I bet the owner would be bothered by this type of pressure tactic.

Big League Lawns saved my yard! I have used them for the last few years and am always blown away by Colt, my service technician. Great professional service. I would highly recommend to everyone.

We use big league lawn last year and we ve only had one application this year. Our yard looks amazing. We do not even have one dandelion and the spots that we re having a hard time growing grass last year looks so much better. We have so many neighbors, on how good our yard looks compared to two years ago. We also love the customer service and the detailed notes that they leave every time they do an application. They will comment if your mowing too short if you have areas that need attention or if they have any other suggestions.

James has been spraying our lawn for the last 2 seasons and we are now going on season 3. He has done such an amazing job every time and our lawn is now the best looking lawn in our neighborhood. We ve even gotten 2 of our neighbors to sign up with them as well. Sadly they didn t put us down as their referral, so we missed out on the credits. However, I am excited to watch their yards transform like ours had. We had previously used another lawn company for 8 years straight and never noticed a big improvement, until we made the switch. We re so glad we decided to try out another company as they have thoroughly impressed us. If you re on the fence, give them a try and tell them I referred you.

I have been using Big League Lawns for two full seasons and we are now into our 3rd season. Months into the first season, my wife was finally (super) happy with the outcome of the work. The products applied work much better than other companies we have used in the past. Colt arrived this morning 5/10/2024 to provide the second service of the year. He was clear in his communication and plan for the service provided today. He took time to hear my concerns and addressed them with clarity. He texted me about four hours after the service to make sure that I was pleased with the work. The answer is YES! You will not be disappointed if you choose Big League Lawns. I promise.

These guys are awesome! I struggled for years with Keeping a healthy lawn. Knowing what, how much, and timing is hard to keep up with. Not to mention can be very costly. I finally gave into the dark side and searched for a Company to take over the headache of keeping my lawn healthy and I landed on Big league. It s been 5 seasons now and I couldn t be happier. I receive a courtesy call before each treatment so I can be prepared. The extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff are always available when I have questions or concerns. I really appreciate that they leave a card outlining what service was preformed and how to proceed with Watering and cutting suggestions. There s also always a handwritten note from the technician with additional information, observations and suggestions relative to my lawn. If you re thinking about turning in your Heavy bags of fertilizer and that spreader that always burns stripes in your lawn give these guys a try you won t be disappointed! Best looking grass on the street if I do say so myself!

We have been having Big League Lawns treat our lawn for a few years now and love the results! We can tell a difference in our lawn for sure. Our grass started out so green very early this spring. Chayden applies our lawn treatment and has been very friendly and professional. He is helpful and gives specific tips for our lawn. I m not one to pay for lawn care, but Big League is affordable. Even pricing it out to do it ourselves, it really is worth the cost not to have to pick up product and apply every couple months.

Caleb A. did an awesome job of leaving detailed notes when he was done and I appreciate him mentioning checking the gate, being that we have a dog. I love that they always answer any questions or concerns I have and when money was tight we even had them drop back in visits which was so much appreciated. They are flexible and easy to work with!

Really disappointed with Big League Lawns. After seeing so many good reviews we thought these guys would do a good job. That was not the case. On the first appt we told them to come on a specific day, and to make sure one of us was there so we could talk to them. Not only did they come on a different day, but did not knock or notify us. We gave clear instructions to not use pre-emergent, but they used it. I called and said how unsatisfied I was, and the girl (was nice) but still charged us for the service. Maybe this was a rare case, but we were not impressed.

I had Colt come out today. Originally I had decided to do my own fertilizing and weed control. As I talked it through with him he treated me great and treated me like a valued loyal customer. Ultimately I decided to continue with Big League Lawns. Colt is a fantastic representation of a great company.
