Not only did Peter install the nicest, synthetic turf and retaining walls for our family Also by the way, protecting our house, but we highly recommend them forever. To everyone that we meet. They are outstanding. Don t think twice! They re not the cheapest, but they are the best.

Pete and his team were great. Pete took our unique space, ideas and future plans into account and proposed solutions that gave us beautiful and functional hardscape. We appreciated that he advised us, then brought up the level of one area of our yard when the pavers were going to create an illegally small/weird step. The team also kept good drainage in mind and made sure that water will drain away from our home and toward the street. In the end, the team added irrigation to our grassy area, widened our driveway with ADA approved pavers and made walkways to our deck and garden in a little over a week.

Pete and his crew did a great job on my backyard project. Found them to be knowledgeable and quick. Finished the project in 4days,and whatever issue I had he took care of. I will definitely use them again for any landscaping projects.

We had a deluge of rain in southern California in December and January which left my backyard (and new pool) covered in runoff water. Peter and his crew did amazing work assessing and fixing my drainage issues and cleaned up so well, you cant even tell they had to tear a ton of stuff out to run drains. Highly recommend!

My driveway was left w/ class 2 roadbase as the media for almost a year. Thanks to the pandemic Id lost my contractor and was at my wits end for how to finish the job. One call to Peter and the job got rolling within 2 weeks. 6 days later, I had a new paver driveway and my neighbors breathed a sigh of relief. Peter provided a reasonable quote and stuck with it. The quality of the work was exceptional as many of my neighbors commented on.

Peter and his team did an excellent job re-constructing my front landscape wall. The original builders did not build it correctly and we have had multiple issues. PB Greenthumb came in and resolved the issue, leaving us with a beautiful landscape wall in the front of the house. They were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Pete and his crew did a great job at our house completely redoing our back yard and patching up our front yard. Sod was just laid yesterday in the back and looks great. I will try to update in a month about how the sod is doing. Pete, the owner, was always on site for the work, and the initial estimates, and was always readily available for any questions about scheduling or anything else. They did exactly what they said they would do, and they did it very well. Pete went out of his way to ensure we were completely satisfied. I recommend with no reservations.

The finished product looks great! We are very pleased with how everything turned out. Peter removed some nasty barberry hedge rows and installed a paver patio. The crew was friendly and everyone was professional. As with any project there were some bumps along the way. What really impressed me was Peters willingness to work with us to make things right. Peter and his crew came out to do a full backyard resurrection. We had a backyard that was unlevel - had tree stumps and roots and rocks all embedded from years of neglect before we moved in. Our vision was to have a backyard we can use with our family and friends. Peter came out and laid out his plan and turned the yard into exactly what we wanted. They did a full skin of the yard to get rid of all debris and then they graded the yard and laid sod over the whole thing. The project took the crew about 8-9 hours of work time and it came out looking great! To leave home to a backyard that was all dirt, stumps and roots and to come home to a yard full of green grass looking shape is extremely gratifying. I would recommend Peter for any backyard makeover job you are looking to tackle!

Peter and his team did a wonderful job, and they did it quickly. Three hours of hard work transformed the front of our house into something we could only imagine. His work reflected the design he did for us well and came out just as he had designed it. He gave us a great reset (which we have added to) on our curb appeal and for that we are thankful. He was knowledgable about his offerings and took our wants into consideration and provided helpful thoughts and feedback. After installation, he gave us plenty of care instructions and let us know to contact him if we have any questions after the fact. That said, it was a little tricky nailing down the exact time he could get out to perform the work but that seems to be the nature of landscaping in WNY. Most communication was easy (his is very responsive to emails and answers his phone readily) but he did fail to inform us of changes to his schedule and how that would impact him arriving to do our work. My wife and I were pretty flexible with being home, but I could see how this would be a bigger problem for people who have to carefully schedule times to be available. All told, we would surely recommend Peter for your landscaping needs.

Ive had TWO paver patios installed by Peter and his crew in the last 13 months and I recommend him to anybody looking for the same thing. Peter is friendly and responds quickly to texts and questions. As with any project, original plans may need to be changed as you go and Peter does a good job remaining open to ideas and alterations. I found his father and cousin Mark to be very personable and down to earth as well. When you get that many likeminded people together on the same job, theres no obstacle that cant be navigated. Like any working men, you may have to argue your point, but at the end, things will be right and for the best. Peter cares about his work and will do what it takes to make you feel that you got your moneys worth. Both jobs were done in about 3 days time and I couldnt be happier. Highly recommended.

These guys are what they say... The Real Deal ... Super, Super meticulous and knowledgeable. They tore out another landscapers garbage grade and horrible seeding attempt and re-graded my yard with utmost precision and sodded it as if they were carpeting a living room.I wanted to sleep in my yard tonight it looked so good. Ive been using PB Greenthumb landscaping for years now and I can honestly say they are the best! Peter is professional, reasonable and always a pleasure to deal with. Their prices are competitive and most of all they do an amazing job! Theyve done my stone patio installation and my Spring cleanup several times. I will only use them to do any of my landscaping/yard work. Use PB Greenthumb for any of your landscaping needs...you wont be sorry!

I am a relatively new homeowner, so with that being said, many projects I have had done around my house by professionals have been good and others not so much. I had been putting off having my landscaping done for about a year, mostly because I was skeptical of some of the area landscapers and their ability to create a design to my needs. I found Peter from PBs Landscaping by simply googling Western New York landscapers and it looked like he had good reviews so I though why not? I sent Peter an email through his website and he was able to come out next day to take a look at the project. Peter threw around some ideas and told me he could take some pictures and create a design that he would email to me. Which he did. I mean how great is that? I dont know the difference between these plants and what does, and doesnt look good together but he was able to provide me with a few options to choose from. That I could actually see WITH MY OWN EYES! A much better option than just hearing about what he planned to do. Once we settled on a design he was in contact with me throughout the whole process of scheduling a date. He said they would be here this past Friday 4/22 by 8 am. And there they were 8 am on the nose and they got right to work. Most of the project was done in the first day. And I had ALOT of old plant material that had to be removed from the previous homeowner. Then they came out THE NEXT DAY, on a Saturday no less, to complete the job because Peter told me he doesnt like to leave a site unfinished. Hmm...unfinished projects...sound familiar to any of you other homeowners out there? Moral of the story is that my landscaping looks fantastic. And they left the area spotless, Im serious you would never know that there was even big equipment on the property. Peter and his crew are top notch. Dont buy into one of these other area landscapers that claim to be design experts, if you need something done get in touch with PBs and theyll do great work for a fair price. And dont let the negative reviews on here fool you, people will always find something to nitpick about, I am very confident that if I ever need to reach out to Peter about my design he would respond and take care of the issue. I had our 20 by 40 pool filled in and hired Peter to take out all of the weeds, put in 8 yards to topsoil, grade the area, and then put grass seed and fertilize it. He gave me a reasonable quote, measured the area, and on the scheduled date , came with 5 guys and had the entire job done in 4.5 hours. They did excellent work and I will definitely use them for future jobs that I have in mind. Marion Kopin.

After having a new concrete driveway and patio put in, we needed some serious landscaping love. Mark and crew were great, and made our landscaping at our South Buffalo house look really great again after being torn up. Would recommend!

PB s Greenthumb did a full removal and replacement of our front and back landscaping. Their price was competitive, and their digital design was impressive. The work looks very good, and we are very happy with the finished product. We have already received many compliments on our landscaping from the neighbors.

Horrible to do business with! Owner very unprofessional! We set up an appointment for an estimate which he canceled an hour before he was supposed to show up. We rescheduled for the next day and he didn t show up or call. We reached out to Peter to see what was going on an hour after the appointment and he said we re really busy with a project, I don t even have anyone I can send out. When we asked why he scheduled an appointment if he didn t have anyone to send out his response was You re lucky you even got an appointment, I get 50 calls a day. It sounds as though we are very lucky to have gotten 2 appointments for which he didn t show up for any! Maybe they do good work if your lucky enough to get an appointment, but I would not recommend a place that doesn t seem to give a damn about their current/potential customers.

We had a large project done in our backyard with the primary focus to finish off the living space and look around a stamped concrete patio we had poured in the fall. The finished work included a flagstone paver sub-patio, seat walls, including a unique looking domino seat wall rounding out a new fire pit that was part of the project. We had some additional work done to level out a portion of our yard and seed new lawn, as well as the clean up of some beds and planting of new trees. The end result turned out beautiful and really finishes the look off the back of our house, creating a wonderful living space for relaxing or entertaining. Peters 3D design renderings, as well as his on-site visit to talk through final design changes and specifications was very helpful. Our work was performed as scheduled in October and his crew was professional, efficient, and hard working. Peter was directly involved and hands on through the process. We ran into a couple adjustments regarding the design that came up as work was being performed, but we were able to come up with agreeable solutions for a great result! I will absolutely consider Peter and his crew for future work.

We recently sodded and re-landscaped our entire front yard after putting in a new porch. Our selection process included all mid-size landscape architects that we could find. PBs Greenthumb stood out as easy to work with, great digital designs, and reasonably priced. Peter and his skilled team came when they said they would, delivered everything as promised, and even followed up on sod that needed to be replaced. There were a couple of electrical and pvc related issues that his team was able to quickly resolve. PBs Greenthumb had the right equipment and skilled professionals to handle a job our size very quickly, leaving us the remainder of the summer to enjoy the beautiful landscaping. They did a very comprehensive project in our back yard that included a multiple level patio, seat wall, fire pit, stairs, landscape beds, etc. etc. I couldnt be more satisfied. It was a total back yard transformation and it turned out phenomenal. I am a perfectionist with OCD, the worst combination a client could probably have. Peter and his crews attention to detail and professionalism exceeded my expectations. I have something that I can enjoy for a lifetime with my family. I have already contacted Peter about a front yard project for next spring! I wouldnt even consider calling any other company to do it!
