Had to call regional manager. Lawn is in horrible condition. Asked him if I canceled Massey if he’d know. The answer was no he wouldn’t. That’s the problem. He said he’d follow up and address the issues. Will see what happens. Unfortunately no one I know living in Del Webb is happy with Massey.

I just purchased a home Aug 15 2024 and had massey lawn service agreement signed and started service Sept 12. Five days later (9/16) I called the ocala fl. Office and notified them my grass was dead in the front and side yard. On 9/18 the GM came out to inspect and notified me they would start supplemental treatments. On 9/20 I was told they would order grass plugs and it would take 2 weeks to arrive. On 9/23 I notified the corporate office of my dead grass. On 9/25 massy came to fertilize the lawn. On 10/1 they came to fertilize and treat weeds. Later on 10/1 the regional manager called and I was told there people didn’t kill the lawn and my reply was why was supplemental treatment started and grass ordered. I asked about the 30 day guarantee which stated, Money-Back Guarantee If you are not satisfied with the results of your program, we'll provide corrective service at no additional charge. After 30 days, should your problem persist, we'll continue to provide service at no additional charge until you are satisfied, or we'll refund your last regular service payment. I was told by the regional manager that my initial payment would be refunded and that all future services would continue to be billed to me. On 10/3 grass plugs were placed but not enough was ordered to cover the damage of using to much herbicide that caused the issue. Also that I would need to water daily for 25 minutes for the next two weeks at my expense. I have the before and after pictures and very disappointed in the lack of communication from the local office in ocala. And the non communication from the sales man that said I will give you my number which is the same number his children have should there be a problem or concern.
Jim Livingston is exceptional & went out of his way to schedule himself to return to my home to perform a number of repairs on my irrigation system . We were out of town for several months and learned about an irrigation issue in our yard. I contacted Massey for help (I did not have irrigation coverage) and heard from Joey the next day. He had scoped out the situation, priced a repair, and offered an irrigation coverage to handle any future issues we might have. All of this was done within 24 hours of my call. We now have complete coverage from Massey: yard treatment, plant and shrub treatment, termite treatment/bond, and now irrigation coverage. Thank you Massey, and especially Joey, for your prompt, professional service.
We have been a Massey customer for several years. Recently took them up on a free offer to access our irrigation system. Salesman gave us a list of work that needed to be performed. Replace one broken sprinkler head and several adjustments. Signed work order and gave salesman a $175 check. Tech arrived several days later and replaced the broken sprinkler head. Tech also indicated that we should contact the main office because no other heads were in need of any adjustments. We called numerous times and were told that a supervisor would call us back. Two weeks later and we have received no such call. A good company is not only one one that performs quality work but also one that knows how to respond when a problem does arise. As of now we have paid for services that weren’t performed and no one is calling us back. Very frustrating. UPDATE - Not sure if it’s a coincidence but A few hours after leaving this review a supervisor finally called us. Supervisor visited our home the next day and promised to make things right. I’m pretty confident that they will but they really need to call their customers back in a timely fashion when a problem does arise. A minor problem can get blown out of proportion when a customer calls numerous times and receives no response. It shouldn’t take nearly 2 weeks to make a phone call. SECOND UPDATE : Tech showed up the next morning after the supervisor came out. Mark was professional and knowledgeable. Mark made all of the necessary adjustments at no additional charge. Even the best company’s occasionally have a problem where they need to come back to a customer. A good company is determined on how they handle those problems. Not calling back for 2 weeks after leaving numerous messages is not the way to do business.
We have used Massey for everything except lawn mowing and bush trimming for 10+ years. They are all reliable, friendly and knowledgeable. The three outstanding employees we'd like to recognize are Joey, Donovan and Big John. I believe they've moved up or retired but all current and future people are compared in certain ways to the best. We always recommend Massey!
Marlon was working next to my home. I asked about a problem I was having. When Marlon was finished with my neighbor, he came right over and resolved my issue. What a great guy. He also worked on my property a year ago and reset my sprinklers to the correct position and timing. I really appreciate him!
Joey is knowledgeable and always has whats best for our lawn in mind. Great results great company.

They dont like to answer the phone very often, when they come out they could never find the broken heads. Waste of money and time use a local company.

Massey always is timely for quarterly service. If a problem arises, they promptly take care of the issue.
Had our annual irrigation inspection with Massey rep, Austin Cachat. We truly appreciate his attention to detail as well as his friendly, professional demeanor and the time he took to listen and address our landscape-related questions.
Servuce is just ok so far. Dont count on sales rep to get much done for you. Finally talked to the GM and promises have been made, well see how that works. Their communications leave a lot to be desured.

Horrible lawn care service. Called and complained multiple times about the status of my lawn that im paying for a service for every month. They have sent out multiple techs to go over my problems with and still no results. Finally they sent out a manager and he said Oh ya we have been having a problem with techs not putting down the correct lawn products. So they are aware of the problem and still no results or conclusion. My grass looks worse then what it did when I took care of it myself. I will be terminating my contract with this company and never looking back
