VIL Landscaping is a very reliable company. They keep customers informed of any changes in the schedule. The job is done properly every week.

I deeply regret hiring this company for my paver installation. First off, the team was unorganized and didn t seem to know what they were doing. They didn t properly prepare the ground before laying the pavers, which resulted in uneven surfaces. Some pavers are visibly tilted, while others have sunken into the ground, leaving unsightly gaps between them. The pattern they laid out is all over the place it looks haphazard and sloppy. They also didn t use enough sand between the pavers, and now, a few months later, weeds are growing through the cracks. To make matters worse, the edging they installed has already started to shift, making the entire patio look crooked and unstable. I paid a significant amount of money for what I thought would be a professional, long-lasting installation, but now I m stuck with a patio that looks cheap and poorly done. I tried reaching out to the company for a resolution, but their response was slow and unhelpful.

Great professional company, been dealing with them for over a year and have no reservation recommending VIL. Keep up the good work.

Extremely happy with the whole process: options, ideas, explanation, updates, progressive payment, final details and final result. Definitely calling them next year to do the front and recommending to all neighbours. Out of all the upgrades and changes done in our house, the best of all.

We had an interlock driveway project completed by VIL, they were great to work with overall. Anything that didn t go to plan, was immediately communicated and solutions were delivered upon during the demolition, build and final clean up.

This crew was very thoroug. Took there time to do a great job. Made my landscape look tidy and polished outside. Would definitely recommend them to others for sure.

This is the worst company i ever seen in the entire GTA. This guy named chalrie lacks tons of respect and manners, he has never been educated on how to professionally deal with people and customers. He does the work in such bad manner ! Making a mess in people house is their peace of cake. Hires guys for each and every project lying to them that he is employing them for a long term then when the job is done they re gone ! How silly They literally drive trucks with no insurance no brakes. i have personally witnessed that and my life was on the line driving 100km with uninsured, unsafe, and unlicensed truck whose driver is a kid with no driving experience whatsoever. Trucks are absolute garbage dents everywhere, dirt everywhere, simply because kids are driving trucks with trailers and they just smash it I have seen 3 trucks getting smashed by 18 years old guys who do not know how to handle such work. If you can tell, most of his employees are foreigner as he loves to take advantage of newcomers. Wish there was a negative star to properly rate this company.

Unprofessional low quality

Very professional, thorough work. They have a great team and system in place to ensure the work gets done properly. The foreman Roman was excellent. We need the work to be done to close our permit and he reviewed our drawings and caught things we missed to make sure the work was done to spec. Would 100% use VIL Landscaping again.

I have worked with landscapers for various properties and VIL (Charlie, Gabe, Roman and the entire crew) were great to WORK WITH. I emphasize work with because some landscapers just make assumptions about your goals and personal preferences. Some landscapers fail to communicate during the process resulting in significant loss of money and time. I am happy to advise, that was not the case with VIL. We met with Charlie and Gabe in the Spring to work on a refresh of a 20-year-old property. We worked together on a design that suited the property s age and surrounding environment. We then worked on picking materials including attending with Gabe to a landscaping supplier to view the style and colours we were looking for. There is a plethora of choices, so it was good to have some help narrowing it down. Once the design and hardscape preferences were ironed out, VIL provided a flexible schedule to commence the work. The crew was great, especially Roman, who walked us through each significant stage all the while confirming the look we were seeking. Roman came up with great suggestions and recommendations that made the entire project move along at a good pace, even with the occasional adjustment. The initial estimate was spot on and the end product is better than the design. We are looking forward to working with VIL again in the future.

Absolutely incredible service!!! We had the sod replaced in our front yard and it looks amazing! Charlie and his team are true professionals.

We reached out to V.I.L to do some landscaping works in our back garden which included a new patio / shed pad, tree removals and full resodding. Charlie was very responsive and approachable - he provided a lot of really useful insight and advice, with Roman then being very helpful for planning out the works. His team were able to mobilise really quickly to meet a challenging timeframe. Taras and Stefan in particular worked incredibly hard to complete a huge amount of work every day. They worked with a high degree of professionalism and were really conscientious in getting the job done while also being very friendly and respectful of our space. They made sure to keep me regularly updated with how the work was going and if they encountered any issues, they always made sure to ask what my preference was before proceeding. They achieved what they set out to do each day and when the work was done, they made sure to clean up everything so that it was back to how they found it. I m really satisfied with the work V.I.L landscaping has done and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get some high-quality landscaping works done!

I paid $898.35 for a fall cleanup. The crew took all the leaves and debris and threw it on my front yard and driveway without using yard bags. I had to have the work redone. Charlie is great, but the work product was bad. I do not recommend.

Overpriced. I got quotes from 6 companies and they were higher by 25% of the next highest quote.

I very much appreciated the snow clearing service provided by Charlie and crew this winter 2022-23. The price was reasonable and the work was always completed in a timely manner during/after each snowfall. Follow-up service was always done promptly whenever city street plowing filled-in my driveway entrance. I recently hired VIL landscaping for weekly lawn moving services. They are very organized and I always receive a notification a day before they arrive. Also, if they notify me if the schedule is going to be changed. The boys do very good job every time and complete the moving quickly and keep the lawn clean. Charlie and his team did a MAJOR overhaul of our front yard. It involved removing trees, shrubs, boulders and then planting new trees, shrubs and sod. The job was not straightforward and there were alot of moving parts. His team had to make decisions on the spot and the end result is spectacular! All team members were pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with. They worked long days in cold November weather to get it done. I choose V.I.L. because when Charlie came to quote he really listened to our vision and even came back a couple of times to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. I had multiple quotes and many landscapers telling me what I wanted wasnt possible. V.I.L. made it happen!

I hired Charlie this year to take over our lawn and garden maintenance after seeing the quality of his work in the neighborhood. Had V.I.L. do core aeration for both my front lawn and backyard. Charlie came to check out my property and assess what was needed the same day I called. Prices were very reasonable (compared to a couple other companies). I was booked in and V.I.L. did the work when they said they would. Even cleaned up after to make sure all the cores stayed on the lawn and off the side walk/driveway. They were very careful around tree roots and my in-ground gas and electrical line. Highly recommended. Theyre constantly working around the Joshua Creek area which is why I decided to give them a try and would use them again. Always very professional and hardworking when I see them at work in my neighbourhood. Keep up the great work guys!

Looking for grass maintenance and leaf collection. First time using this service. Called VIL. received a response within 30 minutes. Discussed our needs. Received a quote shortly thereafter. Charlie came out at time promised. After quick discussion of clarification of work to be done, Charlie started right in. Because the work started late in the day, he and his crew returned the following day to complete the job. Was impressed as to how detailed they were at cleaning the flower beds of leaves and pine needles. Good value for the work performed. First time use if their services, but not the last. Highly recommended.
