The College Crew in Oakton

They pitch themselves as a one stop shop to get your home ready for sale because one of the guys is a realtor. While they do a good job cleaning up landscaping and power washing, they are not good painters at all. I feel like everyone thinks they can paint and it is much harder than it looks. We purchased a home they prepped for sale and I am still finding painters tape in nooks and crannies. They didn't bother patching holes or removing screws/nails from picture hangings- they just painted over them. They painted over outlets and outlet covers and vents. One of the bedrooms that they painted you could tell was rushed- I could see streaks, and they missed spots where I could clearly see the color underneath. You could tell colors were chosen from a certain pallet but, made little sense otherwise. There is a reason why good painters are expensive and why they are not. If you don't care about the end product and just need paint on the walls to sell then it is a good cost savings but buyers will notice. I feel like if they had taken the time to remove outlet plates, screws/nails, and to tape properly then instead of rushing to get the paint on the walls slowed down just a hair I could have said better things about their end product.

The College Crew was excellent. They were prompt, reliable, and efficient. I used their junk removal and hauling services. First of all they responded on such short notice and were able to work around my tight moving deadline. They arrived on a timely manner and finished the job going above and beyond. I hired college crew to pressure wash my back deck and a staircase leading to the basement. The before and after pictures speak for themselves, but they did a phenomenal job. Worked hard on a hot summer day, highly recommend for any of the varied services they provide.
