I am very frustrated with our experience with LNG Landscapes. We asked LNG to replace the landscaping in part of our front yard. The job included demolition of current planters, backfilling some topsoil, regrade, install weed barrier, install Chilton pavers as edging, and use discretion for plantings. We had an allowance for plantings. Well LNG cut corners. They did the demolition fine. But they skipped the backfill top soil, weed barrier, and regrading. Then they put in plantings that mostly died and covered up everything with brown mulch. They also added some sod. So our experience is that LNG Landscapes cuts corners. The guy doing the estimates doesn't show up on site. Then you get a crew of guys that have no idea of the details of the contract. They are very young and don't listen to the customer. In my opinion LNG Landscapes is trying to complete projects they aren't qualified for. They have a nice story about a founder who was in high school when he started his business. They can complete demolition of your current planters. They can add mulch to your planters with nice brown mulch. They would be fine with that. But in my opinion they cannot complete more sophisticated projects that would include details like backfilling with top soil, regrading so there is positive gradient away from the foundation of your house so the storm water flows away per building code, and installing weed barrier. They don't have the patience and maturity of adult professionals. Then they promised to return this season to fix my project. They promised me that they would return but they never showed up and I was waiting this entire season.
We just had a landscape job done by LNG and we’re super happy with the results. Our designer Jordan walked us through the project, communicated clearly and was easy to design with. The job was done quickly and efficiently at a good price and the crew was excellent in installation & cleanup. We’d highly recommend Jordan and LNG Landscapes!
We were referred to LNG and will refer others. Danny was great to work with and provided good communication throughout the bidding and project process. We had a horrible experience with LNG Landscapes and do not recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality and thorough landscaping work. If you're considering working with LNG I think you should hear our story. We saved for years to redo our yard. We were happy during the initial meetings and with our project plan. Unfortunately once the project began things went downhill. The first day of grass removal was disheartening. We asked the project manager (PM) and the crew to be careful with our trees that we had planted years ago and invested lots of time and effort to grow. We didn't want them damaged. Unfortunately the crew worked carelessly and plowed right through roots and branches. We even saw one of them use a tool to cut off large roots instead of carefully releasing the dirt and grass from them. They chose the fastest way to get it done. We were left with damaged and exposed roots, and broken branches. We had to buy 50+ bags of dirt ourselves to re-bury the roots and prevent further damage. The next day went equally poorly. Most of the crew left early to another job, and once the one remaining person was "done" we pointed out several spots where they hadn't followed the marked removal areas, and showed them the inconsistent grading where our fence was going to go. The crew refused to fix anything until they talked to the PM. Unfortunately he was away and told us over the phone that those were LNG's standards and they would not fix it. This was when we realized we had made the wrong choice, but we felt stuck and hoped things would improve. We were having our fence installed in a few days (thankfully by a different company), so we had to fix the yard ourselves. It ended up being over 20 hours of work removing grass that was not removed by LNG. We discovered that the bumps in the grading were patches of grass that had been driven over with their bobcat enough times that it looked like dirt. A clear sign of their poor work quality and thoroughness, and very frustrating for us. Then it was time for the rock installation by LNG. We did a spot check after the first day and found the same poor quality and lack of care on our project. The tarp underneath the rocks was so poorly installed it had gaps, tears, and parts missing everywhere. It looked like a kid had done the work. Our PM said it would be fixed the next day. The second day the crew left with no fixes and without prepping the space for the concrete edging that was going to happen a few days later. Once again we had to work for hours to get the yard ready ourselves. At this point we reached our limit and asked the PM to stop our contract and not come back. There were items remaining in our project but we had seen enough of the poor quality work. Our PM tried to help, offering several ideas on how to make things right. We no longer trusted their work quality so we declined them coming back again. After discussing with our PM he went back to the owners and the conversation took a much different approach. The owners were unwilling to work with us and made it feel like they were the victims in this disaster. They said they were already overbudget on time for our project and weren't going to help us make it right. Not the type of people you want running a business. We just wanted to be done with them, so we agreed to receive some additional rocks (which weren't enough to finish) and cancelled everything else so they wouldn't return. Over the next 8 weeks, we tore out all their poorly laid tarp and rocks, reinstalled it, and spent several thousand dollars in materials (that we had already paid LNG for) to finish our project ourselves. Working with LNG was a very expensive mistake. We wanted quality work and we paid what they asked for, but received terrible service. I can't understand how LNG can win "Best of Woodbury" given their poor quality work. We certainly can't recommend them to anyone. I do hope they turn things around for the sake of homeowners who invest a lot of money and sacrifice a lot to make their home a better place
After getting a few quotes on a concrete project, I reached out to my deck builder and they recommended LNG Landscapes for the project. Danny was AWESOME. Their quote came in very competitively priced and Danny made it known he wanted our business. He was kind, not pushy, and his team delivered a quality product well ahead of schedule. LNG recently did a project for our homeowners association to improve the drainage around two of our townhouse buildings. Jordan was very easy to work with and the LNG crew did an outstanding job! We were very pleased with the results and we would recommend LNG to anyone who's looking for a great landscaping service.
We recently had a fantastic experience with LNG Landscapes! They removed an old, leaky pond and waterfall in our yard and replaced it with a retaining wall and concrete pad for a hot tub under the porch. They also created new mulch beds complete with drip irrigation, planted new plants and trees and created stone walkways through the yard. The design process was impressive, featuring 3D renderings of the landscaping that helped us visualize the final look. Jordan, the project manager and our main point of contact, was AMAZING. From the start of the project to its completion, his communication was exceptional. He promptly answered all our questions and was always easy to reach. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend LNG Landscapes!
LNG helped us replace the cap blocks on our retaining wall. Their careful attention to detail ensured that the main wall blocks were not damaged when removing the old blocks that were glued down. Great communication, no surprises and everyone was pleasant to work with.
Had 3 different shrubs not work. They were able to pick the right ones, prep the area well, and they look great!
They did a great job spreading out and grading my backyard with three dump trucks worth of black dirt. Did a great job, backfilling rocks between my patio and my retaining wall.

Update as of July 9th 2024: I reached out and requested reimbursement for the good quality dirt that I bought to replace the poor quality dirt that they had put down and he responded saying that the job was complete and would not reimburse me. He wont come out to finish the job on the sodded side. He had told me he would level it but did not. and told me he would level the whole yard but did not. I paid for the whole yard to be leveled and it wasnt. I have been complaining about this since day one and havent received a positive response. I will not hire him again and would never recommend this company to anyone. Previous post June 2024: I hired LNG Landscapes in April, he charged me around 4,000 dollars for leveling and putting soil and grass seed down. He didnt put the quality soil down that I requested down, and he put down low quality soil and the grass wont grow and he did not put down enough soil. On two separate occasions When I called to complain about the poor soil I had received he said he would come out on both occasions and I waited all day for him on the days he said he would come and he never showed or called or contacted me. Upon the third time I reached him I told him the problem with the poor quality of soil and grass seed he said he would come over to check on the soil and grass and brought me a bag of grass seed as a gift for me to reseed my yard instead of bringing good dirt and reseeding the yard. I had to go and purchase my own high quality dirt and incurred in additional expenses due to the lack of quality of soil (that wouldnt grow any grass) received and serviced by LNG. I have spent 200 dollars of my own additionally to what I paid LNG services to buy replacement high quality dirt PLUS I have spent 10 + hours of labor on my own to spread the dirt and seed and watering. I want to be reimbursed for the replacement top soil that I had to purchase at Gertens and the additional load of top soil which I will need to finish replacement of the soil put in by LNG landscapes, this would total an approximate of 600 dollars that I should be reimbursed for.
I had a lot of trouble when heavy rain would overload my drains. LNG created an underground extension that solved my problem and looks absolutely amazing. I highly recommend them.

LNG Landscapes recently completed a landscape project at my home and far exceeded my wife and I s expectations. We had them do a paver patio and fire pit that is already a fan favorite of our family and friends. The process from design to install took several weeks, however in the end was totally worth it. Havent had a big rain to see if French Drain will handle water but so far with little rain, it is keeping yard from having excessive pooling. The fellas did a great jog, opening the ground and putting things back together. even planted seed, and thoroughly cleaned up.

The men showed up rented equipment. Under dug the hole too small caved in on them. And tried to pass the bill onto me Absolute mess head to toe .. from beginning to end tried to fire him twice but nobody would touch their mess. These guys are horrible! My 7 year old nephew and his friends could do a better job! Price is $2,500 more than the quote for a small job. They ran over my flowers with their skid steer and never even said anything. Go somewhere, anywhere else and save yourself a headache!

Lets start at the beginning. LNG gave a very competitive quote. This was a fairly tricky project that included several French drains. The crew was fast and efficient. Very hard working. When extra work turned up they did it at pretty much cost. Fully committing to their estimates and timelines. Were very happy with the beautiful work. When we found issues after the work was done several weeks later, which happens at any job, the team came up and fixed it quickly. I know how incredible this is because theyre fully booked for the summer. They clearly prioritize customer satisfaction. The crew is incredible and holds themselves to a high bar when it comes to integrity. They wont leave you hanging and are super responsive.

Our experience with this company was terrible. I hate leaving a bad review, but in this case I think its important because anyone who is disabled needs to be especially sure not to hire this company. If youre relying on a company to take care of your snow removal and cant deal with it on your own, do not hire them. They almost never showed up to remove the snow and we had to shovel it ourselves nearly every time it snowed. They would keep texting us to say that they were on the way but were running behind and then just would not show up and would not contact us either. Sometimes they would text us again two or three full days after it snowed to see if they should still come, after initially texting us to say that they were on the way and then not showing up. I suspect they took on too many clients and we were the lucky ones at the end of their list. The other reviews are very good, but the good reviews are the reason we hired them and I dont want someone else to go through what we went through. Update: I left the original review after a string of frustrating text messages in which the owner kept saying I understand instead of Im sorry and then asking again if we wanted to hire them. I blocked his number so he could not text me anymore, which most business owners would take as a sign that the person youre communicating with does not wish to speak with you any longer. He has since then emailed me claiming that he offered me everything he could, which is patently untrue because he offered me nothing more than the option to hire them again this year, which I had been explicitly clear about not being interested in doing. I do not want anything from you. He also sent a text message to my roommate and asked them to have me call him, but did not identify himself or his business in the text. This is honestly bordering on harassment at this point. I did not leave this review as the result of a stressful day as you suggested in your email. I left this review as a result of having a bad experience with your company. Its an honest review with valid feedback. Based on your other reviews it doesnt seem like a pattern, so hopefully its just one big learning experience for both of us.

Jordan helped me through the process from initial meeting to project installation. Communication between Jordan and I throughout the installation process was great, daily check - ins, and a final walk through upon completion of the job with Jordan, myself, and LNG s foreman. Overall I would recommend the LNG s work to anyone!
We live in Woodbury and had a several thousand dollar landscaping project done by LNG. They showed up when they said they would, communicated everything very well and delivered what was promised. The crew was very efficient and finished the big project, which was landscaping on 3 sides of our home, all within 2 days! The 2 owners were even on-site the second day to use their expertise to help configure the rock bed plant/flower arrangement. Overall, we were very pleased with the company and the completed project.
LNG recently completed a project at our home in Woodbury. They updated our current landscaping in the front/sides of our home after we had our driveway replaced/widened. They removed the old outdated landscaping, seeded for grass in areas around the new driveway, and updated the design and materials. I was very impressed with their level of communication and help throughout the design and install process. I was also impressed with the fact that even though we did not have an extremely large or elaborate project, they treated us exactly as they would a more expensive large-scale project. They offered beauty and value at the same time. We will definitely have them back next to year to tackle the backyard as well. Their crew was just as professional and reliable as the 2 owners. I highly recommend them to anybody, regardless of the size/scope of your project.
LNG recently finished up at my place. My family has been looking to update our backyard patio. LNG helped us do just that! Jordan was my main point of contact throughout the entire process. We had Evan and his team do snow removal for us last winter and they extremely professional and punctual - communication was always good and friendly. Even though we were out of the country, there was never any issues and our renters had no complaints. Highly recommended!

They listened to our ideas for the redesign of our yard throughout entire project, asked questions before doing the work, and adapted to the changes we implemented over the course of several days.
