Working with McMillan and FSG, I now have the most beautiful stone work one could ask for in my driveway, walkways and side steps, as well as part of my backyard. Working with the team was seamless and they were dedicated to getting everything done quickly while maintaining amazing workmanship. Love how it all looks and would highly recommend to others!
We have used McMillan Landscape for the last 8 years for multiple projects and each project was completed on time and was outstanding workmanship. The most recent job was this week involving cutting back the street curb to widen driveway access, create a whole new widened apron and to remove the broken down dangerous front sidewalk and craft a completely new one. The team did a PHENOMENAL job, were very professional and thorough. Every tidbit of rubble was removed, properties on both sides of our home were not damaged in any way and the end product was a work of art! As the homeowner, we did not have to worry about any detail of the work. Kevin’s team was on time, and were experts in what needed to be done and completed it all in 2 days! I would recommend McMillan Landscape to anyone seeking any of their services. Their price is very reasonable and they kept every promise they made for the work we needed.
One of the best contractors I’ve worked with. Not only did they save my pool, a sink hole opened up after Ida but they made my yard look like a resort. This year we needed our cement front porch replaced and wanted to use pavers for the walkway. Kevin suggested taking the stoop out altogether. It looks amazing!!! And they did it in one day! The guys were so nice, professional and worked very hard. If you need work done I would highly recommend.
We found McMillan through a web search when looking to complete a patio renovation project that involved taking out our two old, uneven, crumbling 1950s concrete slabs and old stairs, and replacing them with Cambridge pavers/caps. Their bid was competitive – but NOT questionably so (i.e., so low that you have to wonder why it’s so cheap) and their customer service was excellent and genuine. From start to finish, our experience was nothing but pleasant and stress-free. Kevin answered every question we had without making it seem like a bother, and he was very respectful of our schedules and property. The whole team is efficient, professional, and friendly (I really wish I could remember everyone's names, but Victor and Martin come to mind as two of the employees, as well as Tom). One thing I always look for in contractors is not just how they treat their customers, but how they treat the people working for them. The interactions between Kevin and his guys were very collaborative and mutually respectful. They have fun with each other and it seems to be a great working relationship. Not only did the job turn out beautifully, but it was started and completed even sooner than we anticipated. That’s a huge deal, because as we all know, contractors are often known for having projects drag on and on once they start. A+ all around; would highly recommend. Thank you so much, McMillan!
Kevin, Maureen and the team are great. Always super responsive via email which we loved! Our backyard privacy bushes looks great! They also did a spring clean up for us which was very helpful. They even went above and beyond by adding some seed and hay to some bald patches in the grass near our new landscaping. Would absolutely recommend to anyone for their reliability alone. We plan on using their services in the future.
I have been a customer of McMillan Landscapes since 2013. They primarily take care of my lawn but I have also used them to install new bluestone patios, build retaining walls and boulder walls, install entire landscaping plans as well as drainage solutions. The whole team from the office staff, through the ground crews to Kevin himself are very easy to work with. They use modern equipment, including electric leaf blowers which is a requirement in my town. When working on larger projects, Kevin is very accessible and will help with the design. He pays attention to the details and will oversee the work closely to ensure satisfaction and that it comes in as estimated. For example, when one of the patios that I had them install settled in an odd way, Kevin sent a team to fix it at no additional cost and then followed up after some time to make sure it was all working well. I would highly recommend Kevin and his company.
They did an Amazing Job on our front walkway, stairs, back patio, walkway and driveway. The men were hardworking, pleasant and very neat about their work. The owner Kevin was awesome to work with he listened to what we wanted and found the material that was needed in a timely manner he came to oversee the men daily. I knew from the first day we met this was a reliable company. Emails were answered immediately as well. So grateful to find McMillan Landscaping and highly recommend them!
We had Kevin and his team come out and take care of two jobs at our house. The first was replacing a very dated front walkway that was cracking. The second was installing a beautiful new patio for us in the backyard. Kevin came out personally, quoted out the job and Dawn was able to schedule us quickly. Kevin listens to what you need, gives options and suggestions. His team were very professional, extremely prompt and efficient. The work was done exactly to schedule. He has a good eye for landscape and is a perfectionist, but does not force his style on you. We could not be happier with the work and would recommend him to anyone looking for landscape work.

This company will come at 730 in the morning on the weekend and start making noise for no reason. They will come and cut the grass at my neighbors house for hours but I m reality it s just them making all this noise with leaf blowers. Understandable that this is a business and this is how they make their money. But it s inconsiderate to the community to be cutting your lawn on a weekly at 8 am, especially on the weekend or a holiday like today.
Kevin & Maureen were a pleasure to work with. Maureen is organized and responsive. This makes what can be a stressful process so much easier. Kevin and his team did a great job. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it, and the results exceeded my expectations. I wish I could say that more often.

My back yard had a lot of damage done by the remnants of Hurricane Ida on Sept. 1. I called McMillan Landscaping and Kevin promptly came out to take a look and come up with a plan. He assured me that he could get all the debris out and reseed the damaged part of the yard. His crew came and did just that...and they did it in an efficient and friendly manner. Highly recommended!!

By far the best contracting now removal we have ever had - did an amazing job with the removal and salting on our commercial property -further - a -low accidentally caused some fence damage and the owner immediately responded and had a crew come out and fix it - top notch service and i appreciate their professionalism

Kevin has been my landscaper for more than a decade. He has done beautiful masonry work, fencing, sod and plantings at my home. Very knowledgeable and trustworthy.
There was a discrepancy on the billing name because THEY have spelled my name wrong that doesnt match on the contract. Unwilling to correct a minor problem and told me to look somewhere else. Management is rude and unwilling to problem solve. Look somewhere else. Waste of time and very unprofessional.

Very professional and reasonable. Came on time for estimate and scheduled work very quickly. Yard has transformed from an overgrown forest to a nice flat space and everything was left clean. Front of house looks so much better too. Workers were very courteous and worked extremely hard and neatly. Will definitely use again! Kevin is a great guy to work with too!

My husband and I have used Kevin and his company since the very beginning of his business many years ago. They have done consistently fabulous work, are extremely responsive and have given us suggestions to do things that we would have never known to do. We just sold our home in Montclair and we have the nicest lawn on the block! The buyers of our home commented on how beautiful the lawn looked. We cant recommend this organization any more highly.

I cant say enough good things about Kevin and McMillan Landscaping! I began using him when he first started his business for my home and commercial property. They have exceptional service! My lawns and plantings always look spectacular. The also handle my snow removal. As a commercial property owner, I wanted to make sure that not only my property looks good but during the cold, snowy winter months that everything is safe. I never worry with McMillan, my snow is removed promptly and are always attentive to ice. They have even replaced concrete sidewalks for me. . They are the best in the business!
