Started using SavaALawn a couple of months back and am already impressed with the quality of service, knowledge of the applicator/specialist, carefully adjusting the treatments to reflect the particularities of my lawn. From an interface standpoint, easy to use web site, account has all the information, from payment to history to future applications aso. Very well put together. Also, emails are being sent out before each application. I took care of the lawn myself until now, this is the first time I hire someone. No experience with other companies, but SavATree/SaveALawn was highly recommended and decided to work with them. So far, very pleased.

We started using your deer away service long before it was acquired by SavaTree. I don t like the look of a deer fence, so we decided to give it a try nearly 20 years ago. It s not a hundred percent fool proof, but the addition of the winter treatments gives me comfort that our rhodies, pierres and arbor vitae will get through the winters relatively unscathed. SavATree and Chris Evans have been terrific. For two years I tried Scotts 4-Step, and could not seem to control the weeds and crab grass in our yard. While SavATree is more expensive than TrueGreen, Chris came out and we spent an hour walking the yard discussing options. Since we have two dogs we were never going to have the nicest yard on the street and worked on a lawn care program that fit our needs and budget. Thus far our lawn has never looked better. We also have a program to spray for ticks since our dogs started bringing ticks into the house in March. Chris team has also been super helpful identifying issues with some of the trees and plants in our yard that were looking fairly unhealthy after years of neglect. I would highly recommend Chris and the SavATree team.

Overall, we had a great experience with Michael, our arborist who came to our home. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with valuable advice on how to take care of the trees on our property. We tried many other arborists in the area and none of them were concerned with saving the trees - they all just wanted to cut them down!! We have a huge cherry tree in front of our property which we have had for many years. The tree was particularly very important to my mom. When in bloom it is picture perfect but I noticed the trunk looked a little under the weather. Hadrian came out and with his expertise recommended treatments to help increase the longevity of our beautiful cherry. I highly recommend Hadrian and SavATree Norwalk. Cant say enough good things about my experience with SavATree. We noticed many of the trees ( Arborvitae, fruit, Dogwoods and Japanese Maples ) in our yard were looking a little sickly. SavATree is first-rate. We have been using them regularly for more than 18 years. Starting with our arborist, Mike Pantano and also including Office Manager Diana Carpio - as well as Juan who leads the team of men pruning our trees and bushes - we give Sav A Tree five stars. They are not the least expensive option, but If you want the work done correctly, you should use SavATree.

Briana is a pleasure to work with. She is very efficient and conscientious and always advises us if she sees a problem that needs to be addressed.

I use Michael Pantano at the Norwalk office of SavATree and he has been spectacular. He is incredibly knowledgeable but also really approachable and attentive. He does not try to upsell me. In fact, he often tells me I can wait to address some issues or take a wait-and-see approach. He comes on time and follows up. The service has saved many of my trees and shrubs over the years.

I booked an appointment with an arborist to look at a sick and dying hedge in my yard. It was an urgent as whatever is happening is happening quickly. A day later William Henry sent me an email cancelling my appointment as the person I was due to meet with had a family emergency. Normally, I would be empathetic and understanding but being the nature of problem and the fact that I was a new client- I thought it to be extremely unprofessional to send me an email rather than a phone call or not to offer to send someone else out. I was told he would be available the following week. I was not able to wait. when I expressed my disappointment I received no response. Something felt very off and I was obviously not worth their time. They just didn t care

Living in a heavily wooded neighborhood, Ive always made sure to have a high quality arborist, who knows our property and understands the priorities and concerns of a homeowner. Weve used Savatree for years for tree maintenance, and they have been professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Savatree has been great! We were spending a lot of money on gardening/landscaping but the results were always disappointing. Dead lawn spots, diseased trees/hedges, etc...I finally got in touch with Savatree and Chris Evans came out and thoroughly went through everything we needed to achieve the results we wanted. They saved our lawn! They offered a plan that was reasonable and an excellent value. We had weeds, pests, and poor soil. We knew it would take some time to restore the year. The yard looked better so quickly and each year we continue to see improvement. We are so appreciative!

We had a number of fairly large trees plus a bunch of overgrown brush removed from our property. Chris was extremely responsive and made the process easy! Brandon, Alex, and Luis made the job look easy, though there was quite a bit of technical maneuvering they needed to do given the placement of the trees to be removed. I would strongly recommend. They were professional, prompt and pricing was very fair. I felt like they had my best interests at heart and made quick work of a large project.

We used Roger for a major job involving the crane removal of two huge trees very close to our house, as well the removal of half a dozen smaller trees in the back yard. This is my second experience with SavATree for tree removal- and each time the team has been fantastic and has gone above and beyond our expectations completing the work. Our arborist was Chris Evans was extremely knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. He helped us to assess the trees on the property and rank priorities for removal focusing on safety and tree health. Ultimately we needed to have two very large dead trees removed that were close to our house (and overhung our driveway). The job was complicated because of the size and condition of the trees, and of course the physical location. The trees required special equipment to take down, and we wanted the dead wood removed, all requiring special coordination- on top of the backlog of work in the tree business these days. At the end of the day though, as a customer, it all seemed very seamless which is a huge credit to Chris, the crew and the company. The removal itself was done in an exceptionally professional manner and we could not be happier. Frankly- it is basically like the trees were never there, cant get much better than that! Credit goes to the fantastic crew- Bernardo, Roberto, Reynaldo and Giovanni. They operated quickly and most importantly safely to take down two challenging dead trees on top of some other cleanup work. Cant thank Chris and the crew enough, really great job! Would definitely recommend the company (in particular Chris, Bernardo, Roberto, Reynaldo and Giovanni) to anyone. When I lost our beautiful red maple in early August due to Tropical Storm Isaias, I called Chris. I know how busy he was due to all the tree damage throughout the area, but after a long day, Chris was still willing to stop over to assess whether the tree could be saved. Once it was determined that it could not be, he had his crew over in a matter of a couple days to cut it down. I know how busy he and his crew were during that time, but he was responsive, helpful and direct. Chris crew also fertilizes our lawn regularly, and not to brag, but I can truly say that its the nicest lawn in the neighborhood- so plush and healthy.

SavATree is not inexpensive, but it has been a great company to work with, especially because their representative to our area, Christopher Evans, has been so consistently thoughtful, professional, and quick to respond to our concerns. After we had a great deal of landscaping completed, we hired SavATree to keep the new plantings fertilized and pruned and, if any troubles arose, to diagnose and treat the problem. Theyve done all that beautifully for two full years. The only reason I dont give the company the 5 stars they probably deserve is that they have struggled but failed to get our back lawn in really good shape. While that is true, Chris has remained concerned and has gone above and beyond to overcome the problems (which stem primarily from a huge, acid-dropping hemlock in the small yard). Chris takes his time whenever he comes by to answer our questions or to see whatever tree work we are hoping to have done. He is honest about the cost, the time it will take, and the difficulties that may arise when the work is being done. He is also an expert arborist who clearly knows how to handle tricky problems of pruning and of treating insect, fungal, or other issues that can inflict the shrubs and trees. I recommend SavATree and especially Chris Evans without reservations.

Chris Evans has been advising on my tree care for over a year now and my trees love him for it. He was very impressive, his knowledge/expertise clearly surpassed other contractors we met with. He even sent me resources to read for myself to gain some knowledge on the items we talked about. This past summer, I engaged Chris in inspecting some trees on my property and he quickly identified some problem trees that needed to be taken care of before any damage to my house occurred. I asked for quotes which were quickly provided and were very competitive. Within a couple of months (this past Saturday), he and Alex (the crew chief) and Jonathan came by to take care of the first of the problem trees and the results were terrific. Alex and Jonathan were skilled, professional and kind. They made an incredibly challenging job look easy, executed without any issues and were done very quickly. SavATree has been taking care of our property for over ten years. They helped us to eradicate all pests in our trees and shrubs and keep them healthy. We also use them for pruning under the expertise of Chris Evans who comes by to check on our property and to suggest any improvements and treatments. His guidance in maintaining the health and beauty of our trees, shrubs and overall property keeps us the envy of the neighborhood.

In addition to tree removal and pruning, the crew also cleared brush from the area. Chris Evans kept us informed of scheduling (post-storm equipment demand was high) and monitored the work as it was performed. He responded to all calls promptly and is clear in his explanations. Alex Maslowski and his team arrived promptly, cut, cleared and chipped in tight areas. They left the surrounding areas cleared and shrubbery undamaged. Chris has been a great contact and very informative. The crews (we used SavATree last year, too) have always done a great job. We will be using SavATree in the future.

I honestly can t say enough about the quality of this service. We were looking at purchasing a house in Stamford but were concerned about the health of some pine trees around the property. Mike Pantano, an arborist, came and spent a long time assessing the health of the trees and discussing mitigation options with us. Luckily, none of the trees were unhealthy to the point that they should get remediated, but he did suggest he come back in around a year to look at a few trees that are question marks. He also suggested some things we can do for the health of our shrubs too. But what I really appreciated is that he never pushed us to spend money on any of their services. He really just wanted to provide an unbiased opinion, and then let us know what services they provide if and when we needed them. And we didn t need them. So his service was free. That being said, because I was so impressed with Mike, I will definitely contact them again when I need tree service.

Beyond clip and prune, SavATree does it artfully. Others try but not do the throughout work of SATree. Chris and Roger are two of the most knowledgeable arborits. Period. Trust them and their work.

Victoria McCarthy has taken care of my trees, shrubs and tick spray applications for many years. She is professional, thoughtful and a pleasure to work with. She has identified problem pests and advised on pruning our Japanese Maples. The service team has been flexible and timely. SavATree is a great care service for your whole property! I do not know where to begin! Victoria McCarty has been my personal lawn/tree savior. I have never met a kinder, more lovely, more accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, person in my entire career, let alone someone that has helped me with my house. It started with a sinkhole at my house, which required a number of trees to be removed to regrade my property. Additionally, we chose to care for a number of trees in the sides and back of the property. She & her amazing crew (Roberto & Jorge were so wonderful!), saved so many trees, including trees neglected by the old owner and tangled by a ferocious 25 foot nest of snake vine trees. Not only did they care for so many trees, but they saw things I could not see and took care of the property with the utmost care & precision. This year beautiful & natural dogwoods that almost died, bloomed, a gorgeous huge & old Oak lives & thrives, & my property that is home to so many trees are thriving, living breathing life into the environment. Because of the job they executed, Savatree lives up to their branding! Throughout the year, we had a tornado on our street & multiple very damaging storms. The rest of my street had terrible damage/trees down. Not a branch on my property. I owe this to Vicky, her team, and the continued excellence of their property care. Vicky is the most valuable asset Savatree has. I hired her this year to save my lawn which was in part, destroyed by the sinkhole & a lawn company called Lawn Doctor that promised to care for my lawn, through the rehab. My fiancé had hired them, before we met Savatree. I knew within one treatment things weren t right, when they didn t show up for an appt and a specialized treatment where they promised to spot treat around my new landscape. I watched in horror as Lawn doctor destroyed the newly planted grass from 12 yards of top soil/seed I just planted. I ended care with Lawn Doctor immediately. My lawn was in horrific shape this early spring, after last year & to add to it, I had a terrible stilt grass invasion, no pre emergents last year & I inherited bad soil. A mess! Something I thought would take years to repair has taken ONE treatment to see drastic results. It looks like a new lawn. My bed care on the border, where the tree work occurred (its a hybrid of woods & mulched beds), went from uncontrollable weeds to a lovely weed-free area/beds, with forest trees. My neighbors comment all the time on the transformation! In so little time, it s impossible!!! Vicky & her team made it possible & are THAT GOOD. Larry & Nick are great, too!! I owe this to the unprecedented care to Vicky McCarthy, her kindness & willingness to come do site checks often, tweak the plan as needed (since things change often), & her willingness to work with me, in every aspect. I could not have dreamt things would look/be so good, so fast, after the problems I have had since moving here & after the way things looked a month ago, before they started!!! Almost every vendor I ve worked with, in other sectors have been nothing short of problematic. Vicky has made working on my lawn and planning for more tree work, a joy. I always look forward to meeting with her & planning my care. It s the fun part now, after being the biggest headache! Who can say that? She is THE best asset Savatree has. The most kind, hardworking, lawn/plant/weed/tree/ everything green whisperer I know. Her knowledge is quite astounding and fun to learn from. Savatree, without Vicky, I would not know what I would have done. I m so thankful I have her on my side and as long she is with you, you will always have my business. I hope you know what an asset she is to your organization. I must give credit where it is due. And no, I did not know her before this! She is THAT GREAT. I have never been so thankful or given such a review before, because I ve never worked with someone so great. If the work world was filled with Vicky s, life would be a better place. what a pleasure to see professionals at work, you can hire glorified landscapers that think they can do the job or you can hire professionals. With tree service things can go wrong very very quickly. I watched the crew the entire day the job was amazing and the clean up fantastic.

We contacted SavATree to take care of some storm damaged trees and they were very professional and prompt. The crew was efficient and exceptionally clean - the yard looked great when they were finished. They dont just mow trees down but try to prune thoughtfully and keep whatever parts of the tree are healthy. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! Friendly crew! Great clean up and very careful not to damage property, other plantings and fencing. Chris, the arborist answered all questions, was friendly and patient while working with two property owners with a shared tree. I highly recommend this company!

Larry and Luis have done a terrific job with our lawn. We purchased the home in 2011 and the lawn was full of crab grass and grubs. Today it is noticeably greener and fuller.

SavATree and SavALawn: tremendous. Im overwhelmingly impressed with the professionalism and results thus far. Its one thing to say you can spend a little more money to get a nicer lawn or better looking trees, but this experience has left me with a whole different impression. To be honest, not too different from having an eTrade account vs. having a private client wealth management team in your corner. A point person (ours is Roger K.) takes the call or returns it promptly with full knowledge of every detail of the projects in progress and provides excellent guidance going forward. As for the results, well know more about the tree(s) next spring, but the lawn in the last 6 weeks has undergone a transformation I thought would take a year.

The Savatree Norwalk team was great to work with. They were quick to come put and provide an estimate and quick to schedule the work. Chris was also great at providing advice and we were able to save one tree. Highly recommended.

SavATree showed up on time, performed the work as prescribed and left our yard and driveway in good condition. We had originally had their Arborist (Adam) visit our house in the Fall to assess our needs but we decided to delay the work for the time being. When we revisited the quote a few months later (Winter) they advised us of a Winter discount. Despite the work being more extensive (since there were a few major storms since the original quote), they maintained the same quote (less the discount). Needless to say, they went above and beyond and the Adam (Arborist) came back at the end of day to inspect the crews work. I would recommend SavATree.
