We could not be happier with the job the guys did for us. We called on a Friday, they stopped by Sunday morning to give us a quote and the tree trimming was complete by 9am on Tuesday. The guys were professional and great at their job. They did exactly what we asked. Also left the place spotless. All debris was cleared. Marlon Gerardo Oscar and Victor were great!! Highly recommend if you need your trees taken care of.

K&J came out quickly to give me quotes on removing a couple trees close to the house that were dead and leaning. The price was very fair and they were back out within a few days to remove them. No damage to my fence, house or anything else close by. Jose, Isael, and Pablo also did a thorough job cleaning up and cutting the stumps close to the ground. I would definitely use K&J again.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. The Green Team (Jose, Israel, and Marlon) from K and J Tree Service was fantastic. They were on time, efficient and thorough. I thought they would be here all day but they finished the job in under two hours. The price beat the other estimates I received. I highly recommend them for any tree service that might be required.

Jose, Isael, and Pablo did a wonderful job cutting down a number of trees for me. Jose had been here before and remembered the property. I am a big gardener so there were a number of plants and trees that they had to work around and did a wonderful job. I had a technician here who commented how professional they looked with their orange vests on. Marty at K & J gave me a reasonable price so I will be happy to use them again.

We needed a number of trees to be dealt with on our property in Westport. We had used K&J with success in the past so they were our first call. One of our trees was quite large, was struck by lightning and at risk of falling. This made for a more difficult tree removal situation than usual. Marlon, Victor, Oscar and Gerardo did a fantastic job not only with this more dangerous tree, but with some other ones on the property. Not only did they apply their expertise to the tree removal itself, but they kept the work site in excellent physical condition and negotiated some difficult situations with regard to logistics and neighbors. We recommend this group very highly!

They are true experts and professionals, and do not hesitate to add some work for free to the original scope, if it is the right thing to do. K&J Yellow Team (Gerardo, Oscar, Victor, Marlon) did an excellent job taking down a declining giant tulip tree and pruning others on my property. The tulip tree was in a difficult to reach location but they devised a creative way to get the cherry picker close. They were very careful with the surrounding structures and did a great clean up job afterwards. Very professional. I highly recommend them.

As a local real estate agent Im always looking for the best services for my clients and K&J is just that--the best. Last winter during an ice storm our 80 pine tree started shedding massive branches onto our house, porch and all over our yard. It was very scary and the tree did a lot of damage. I reached out to K&J and they came over almost immediately to give us an estimate to remove the tree. We scheduled an appointment to have it taken down shortly thereafter. Our appointment was for 8am and the Green Team was at our home and ready to go by 7:59am. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of service they provide. Excellent job! Gerardo, Oscar, and Victor came when they said they would, reviewed the job with us, and did exactly as quoted. The big hanging chestnut branch was particularly challenging, and they got it taken down and chipped safely. They cleaned up completely and our trees are a lot better off.

Oscar, Gerardo, and Victor came out to take down a tree hanging over the house and prune some overgrown trees hanging over the pool. They were efficient, made sure to confirm the work order and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Would definitely recommend these guys for future tree work.

K&J s crew of Victor, Oscar and Genirolo did a great job of cleaning up our storm damage. Nice, professional and left a neat yard.

Overall, everything was conducted on a professional level. The team made sure to remove the tree off our house without causing any more damage. This was difficult because of telephone poles and other objects in the way of the crane. A few hours later and the tree was completely gone. K & J met our expectations and we re satisfied with their work.

The K&J Tree crew did an excellent job in my backyard yesterday! Victor, Oscar, and Gerardo teamed together to remove the branches that were threatening my home. When finished, they made sure I was happy with their work then thoroughly cleaned up.

K&J did a superb job in taking down 3 tall trees next to our home. We were really impressed with the skill and efficiency of the Yellow Team (Gerardo, Oscar, Victor & Pablo). The area was left clean and the wood removed by Hunter, Steve and the grappling truck. Already rehired to do more work !! K&J returned and this time with the assist of an 80 foot crane took down 3 huge trees overhanging our house. Once again the yellow team and grappling truck guys (Steve and Pierce) did a superb job. I would highly recommend them for tree work large and small.

Such great service! Was a pretty time consuming job as did work at my house and 2 neighbors. After they left, you would have never known tree work was done left area nice and clean. The team,Victor, Oscar, and Gerardo came to my house on July 10th at a out 10:45. Their job was to trim branches from my 3 trees. Many of the branches were in the wires or close to the wires. They trimmed them about 3 feet back from the wires. They did that as well as cleaning off all the succor branches. They also trimmed some of the dead branches, but they missed some. As far as the clean up is concerned, it appeared well done until I went out there the following day. I picked up many small branches every time I took the dogs out There is quite a pile. I also had asked Mark, one of the arborist, about trimming the branches that were hanging over the roof of the house. That never got into the proposal and therefore never got done.

Incredible, start to finish. Huge storm Wednesday night knocked down a tree across our backyard and into our house. K&J sent out in arborist before 9 AM the next morning, and by today/Saturday the tree was down. Crew of Victor, Oscar, Pablo and Isael were a machine and left the property spotless.

Update: We used K&J again in April 2024 to cut down a huge tree on my backyard. The same as last time, the job was well done. Victor, Leo, Oscar, and Gerardo did a very nice job. K&J just finished my project yesterday, 2/22/2021. It took 4 working days to remove 14 trees which include 5 spruce, 6 oak and 3 hemlock. All trees are surrounding and very close to my house. Crane really made the job safer and efficient. The 6 oak trees are very big and branches are on the top of my roof. The team knows what they are doing and definitely did a good job. The tree removal job definitely created some damages on my lawn and my yard but they are expected. Snowing days made the final clean up job difficult but it is not K&Js fault. I will definitely hire K&J again in the future and already recommended it to my neighbors. If your job needs crane, you are better to hire someone like K&J since they own cranes. If any unexpected issue happens and your job is delayed, you do not need to pay extra money to rent a crane for more days. Each day will cost you about $2K for crane rental in Greenwich area. Hopefully my review is helpful.

Yellow Team (Gerardo, Oscar, and Victor) came by to take down an enormous rotting tree in our yard. They worked diligently to determine how to cut down the tree safely, s as it spanned across our yard and over into our neighbors. They had to climb the tree to cut it and it was incredible to see the level of care taken during the process. They were extremely professional, worked diligently, and helped provide insights about other trees safely in our yard. We are grateful for their hard work and plan to call them again in the future. We highly recommend them.

K&J did a great job for me. They sent a rep to review what needed to be done and we walked around the property and discussed all of the issues I wanted to address. The rep was very professional and polite and informative. He made suggestions and helped me choose services that would save money. I was really happy with the estimate and contracted to do the work. The crew arrived on time, all wearing masks for the pandemic and were fully equipped to take care of all of my tree problems. I had 2 dead ash trees that sadly needed to be downed. A few trees that needed to have dead limbs removed, canopies opened up to let sun through, and a couple that needed to be cabled to prevent them splitting in a storm. We were completely satisfied with all of their work and would definitely call them again if we need more tree work done.

The house we bought was super overgrown and there were many large dead trees that were leaning over the house and giant dead branches would crash down every time the wind blew. They worked so safely and carefully with all these dead trees to make sure they came down nicely, the property was so well taken care of by the time they left you couldnt tell that they had done so much. Excellent service! We had a complicated removal that required a massive crane bringing a huge tree over the house in pieces. They performed like a well oiled machine. We hired K + J to come out and remove some broken branches from a large pine tree in our backyard. Marty, the arborist was amazing and so knowledgeable. He helped us figure out exactly which branches needed to be removed and was hilarious - that wins points with me. Victor, Isael and Oscar came two days later to remove the branches. They did an amazing, efficient job while still being neat and respectful of the neighbors yard as well. We can t speak highly enough of this company.

We had a tree fall during a storm and it was held up by another tree over the house. K&J came the very next day after calling them. The crew did an excellent job, they were very safe and even cleaned up afterward. Isabel, Leo, Oscar and Billy went above and beyond! They explained everything they were going to do with detail. Great team. Rick handled our initial consult and was super helpful with regards to narrowing down which trees should be removed. Less than a week later Marlon, Oscar, Gerardo and Victor were on site. Very happy with the service of K&J. Jose, Isael and Marlon came to trim two trees. They did not do any damage to the property and tied the branches so they would not fall down to the ground. Once they were done they cleaned up.

The arborist who came to give the quote was super knowledgeable and personable. He taught me about the trees on my property and gave me helpful information to care for them. I had full confidence in their skills so I booked them to remove 4 dying trees. And scheduling was so quick and easy. The crew that came to do the work was phenomenal!! Leo, Isael, Jose, Oscoin and Marlon worked seamlessly together. It was incredible watching them work. They took down 4 trees in about 60-90 minutes. I have very ornate gardens filled with rare plants and trees. They were super respectful and careful not to damage anything. I was astonished at how they strategically dropped limbs on grass areas without hitting any of my plants. They even did me a favor and trimmed 15 tall arborvitaes for me. K & J did an amazing job! My dad planted the little sapling in the Spring of 1963 and grew to the beautiful tall and very shady maple tree. Unfortunately we found out from K&J arborist, Martin that the tree was dying. From approving the quote to the crew coming 5 days later a big thank you to Gerardo, Victor, Oscar and Marlon - they were in and out within a couple of hours. The team was very professional, thorough, courteous and cleaned up when done. Also a big shout out to Craig and Steve who came back with the big claw machine to pick up the balance of the heavy limbs and tree trunk. I highly recommend them!

I had called K&J Norwalk years ago for some trees I thought were problems. The Arborist Martin said they were ok. This year we had a huge Beech suffering from Beech Leaf disease. This time it had to come down. This was a massive tree. The Norwalk Crew, came as promised to take it down. I think they call themselves the Green team. They were made up of Ariel, Jose, Israel and Leo. These guys worked extremely hard, non-stop, professional and maintained good care of my property. Clean-up was exceptional. I have no complaints. K&J was excellent. The team arrived on time and provided high quality service. Oscar, Marlon, Victor, and Gerardo were efficient, detail oriented and respectful of our property (they moved chairs/backyard items before trimming and returned them to their proper place after). After all work was completed we did a final walkthrough which was greatly appreciated. Lastly, their clean up was superb. You couldn t even tell we had trees trimmed.

They were careful with large pieces of equipment in a cramped space. They were considerate in their use of the chipping machine, reducing noise levels to a minimum. We had K&J remove two large beech trees and trim a maple and an oak tree. The Purple Team (Eddie, Ariel & Alex) did a great job. They were thorough, safe, efficient and clean. The crew brought a crane, bucket truck and chipper for the job. They charged a fair price for the equipment, labor, and complexity of the job.

K & J Tree Service out of Norwalk came today to remove a decades old tree that was rotted in the middle. They started around 9:00 am this morning and finished the job 7 1/2 hours later. K&J trees did a great job pruning or removing trees both large and small. The crews including Leo, Gerardo, Victor, Oscar, Jose and Isael worked efficiently as a team. They got a big job done very quickly and with no damage to the lawn or other plants. On top of great work, they were friendly, especially with my toddler who sat outside watching them all morning.

2024 Just used K & J for the secomd time in 2yrs, with Victor, Gerardo, and Oscar doing an amazing job once again. This removing two trees that were damaged/leaning toward my home and driveway. Cant state enough how much i appreciate this crew for their attention to detail and professionalism. 2023 This was an amazing experience for a very large tree (well over 100 feet in height) removal that was on a hill side. Not an easy job by any means and one I thought would be impossible, but needed to keep my home safe from the dead tree coming down in a storm. Gerardo, Oscar, and Victor were extremely professional throughout the entire project, and extremely careful not damage any other surrounding property. I hope not to but if I need another tree removed I will use K & J again as the price was more than fair for the size of the job. Thank you again!
