Firelands has taken care of our lawn since we moved in to our newly built home 4 years ago! Our yard has looked so good compared to others! Great service!! Looking forward to having them do more work for us!

Been trying for two weeks to get some yard work done maybe re seeded your ad talks highly but nobody answers the phone, you just lost a Customer

Joe has been taking care of my lawn and landscape for several years and is very attentive and professional. I must say they are very reasonable with their services.

I would love to review their work, but we can't seem to get a call back. I left two messages this week, my husband left two last week, and submitted an online inquiry. We really wanted to use a local company too!

Have been a customer for over 20 years and never disappointed. They always respond to calls quickly and take care of business. Highly recommend

I've had Firelands lawncare treating my lawn for a number of years now. I will say my grass is usually very green... So are all the weeds that are still growing after 4 years of having them take care of it. I still have tons of weeds and the only ones that do not grow are dandelions and crabgrass. I'm not an expert and i can easily identify half a dozen weeds that still grow plentifully every year. Once you sign up you will never hear from anyone via phone or email how things are going. But they're happy to take your money throughout the year.

Edit 7/12/24. It appears it took the company 4 years to reply to my review. There was no miscommunication of husband/wife. I was informed the office "knew all about it" and were acting surprised when I called. I would call and I would not get calls back. I had to FORCE them to fix my window this way of going the shop route. Go back and reread my story. This company was great at first. We did weekly lawn cutting and string trimming. No problem with that. Then we wanted to do bi weekly instead. We told the office about it, the crew comes out anyway. We had to verbally tell the crew to not complete the service. Minor annoyance. I was scheduled to have a lawn installed for my backyard. Initially we did not have a date to have the job started as the company was far behind on jobs. I inquired about and was told it would begin the end of the current week or beginning of the following week. None of this ever happened. No phone call or any sort of communication. During the bi weekly service, a member of their lawn crew somehow broke my car window. I was told that it would be replaced by the company without me paying out of pocket. The person who did it was very apologetic and accidents do happen so I wasn't upset. I was told that the office knew about the incident and one of the bosses of the company was going to call me to sort the issue out. The office was called and had no idea what had happened. I never received a call from anyone as far as that. I called the next day and asked could I speak to Joe. I was told he had a doctor's appointment and would call me back. Never received a call back. In fact, did not receive any calls the entire weekend regarding my broken window. My wife called the office no answer. This ultimately was the last straw. I called them once again no answer. I told them if I was not contacted within 2 hours of the voice-mail, I would be going to sue in small claims court for damages. My wife's phone rang 10 minutes later finally sorting out to fix my window. It should have never gotten to that point. We canceled our install due to the unprofessional behavior that was exhibited by this company. They were also supposed to kill our lawn prior to doing the install. We never knew it was done until we were canceling the project. Understaffed or not, you do not treat people like this let alone paying customers. Beware dealing with this company. We will never do business with them again.

I have used Firelands Lawn & Landscape for over 15 years. They always do a great job. If I'm having any issues with my lawn, they are very good about sending someone out right away and doing whatever needs done. Many times over the years I have called and talked to Joe or Shane and they have always been extremely helpful. I highly recommend Firelands Lawn & Landscape. I would have not kept with them if they weren't doing a good job! Joe B., Huron Township
