Somax is great for your commercial or residential needs. Large or small, service is very good, quality or work is very good, and the staff is knowledgeable and fair.
I am current customer of this contractor, their crew don't understand or speak English, and they don't even have a working phone you can call them. They come over to mow my lawn at their convenience in an unpredictable schedule, they will come to mow your lawn if they happens in the area they don't care about if your lawn needs a cur or not, or they will not show up for 2 weeks in peak season. They charge with number of cuts, so they will cut more when they are not so busy. Bottom line is, my lawn is getting worse since they take my contract, the worst contractor I've ever used, they will not get my business next year.
These guys are mind blowing. Called them for a fall clean up. I had a ripped up yard from a contractor that left me high and dry when a home build couldn’t be done. Didn’t even know they offered the service of reshaping the yard. Somax offered a competitive price and the response time is how a service company should be. Can’t speak highly enough. Here is some before and after pictures. They aren’t even done yet and I couldn’t wait to share the results

Jose Somar (Somax) is a great business owner to work with. His team is efficient, careful, and on-time. Jose and his team have expertise in planting native plants in sensitive wetland and forested areas, demonstrating his teams careful techniques. His team is great at following landscaping plans produced by landscape architects, and their ability to install and maintain more regular landscaping is also obvious. Jose is also conversant in both English and Spanish, and I highly recommend his work for residential and commercial landscape care, as well as installation of complex plantings in new development installation scenarios.
