We first went to Cherished Lawn Care when the grass we had laid in the garden of our new build house was suffering badly with moss, likely thanks to the poor quality underlying soil. I contacted Stuart a couple of years ago having neglected my large lawn area. It was covered in weeds , moss and ants and I was unsure if it was beyond repair. Stuart took the time to advise me on a plan and we worked together to get my lawn looking great . The costs and plan was transparent and I was able to tweak to meet my budget. In a relatively short space of time Stuart has provided both services and advice/guidance that has significantly improved the quality and appearance of both our front and back lawns. Particularly challenging as a relatively new build house with minimal soil to work with! Stuart laid new turf to replace the turf the dogs had destroyed and did a fantastic job, plus he is always available for advice if required! Thoroughly recommend for all your garden problems.
I wouldnt trust anyone else with my lawn. I have tried others but Stuart really knows how to get the best of my lawn. His experience speaks volumes and when you ask him a question he always has the answer. He advised the best way to get rid of troublesome ants without using harsh chemicals. Brilliant. Stuart has been helping our lawn recover for the past year or so. The results speak for themselves and, despite the best efforts of our dog, our lawns look so much better. Would recommend Cherished Lawn Care (and particularly Stuart) to anyone looking to make the most of their grass.
I wish I had a before and after photo to show you because you wouldnt believe its the same lawn. Alas, youll have to take my word for it in that the difference is night and day. A couple of years ago our garden was an absolute mess. We were fighting weeds left, right and centre and the soil - dont get me started on the soil. It was essentially clay and after a typical British rainy day would literally be sliding under your feet like you were trying to complete an obstacle course. Stuart changed all that. After killing off the existing grass and taking it back to the start, through a load of technical processes the names of which Ill never remember, hes worked his garden magic like a green-fingered Houdini. We now have weed-free grass, firm soil and a very happy dog. On top of that, Stuart pops out every few months to check how its looking, make any necessary adjustments, get it ready for the coming season and generally keeps it in top form. The only downside is now having no excuse not to mow the thing!
Stuart is brilliant! He has helped me get my lawn into a great condition. He is friendly, explains everything he does and always shows up when he says he will. I would recommend him to anyone, and his costs are so reasonable.

Living in a new build I had all sorts of issues with the grass over the first couple of years with moss, barren patches etc. Stuart has completely transformed my garden and it has even stayed lush and green during dry periods. The front and back lawns were looking really dreadful and hadn t had anything other than a mowing for around 5 years. I contacted Stuart to see if there was anything that could be done and made an appointment. Stuart arrived on time and diagnosed several issues. After treatment and regular care the lawns are both looking lush and green and alive. Quite the turn around! We used Cherished Lawn Care recently when our lawn was in need of desperate help. It had reached the point where we were considering re turfing. Stuart visited and has taken control of it, the difference is amazing and it now looks healthy, lush and green. He also gave us lots of good advice on what we were doing wrong. We would definitely recommend CLC, so nice to find a local company that is trustworthy, knowledgeable and reasonably priced too.
I had issues with excessive weeds in my grass that, if Im honest, I didnt have the patience nor the knowledge to deal with. Along came Stuart. He has the knowledge, he has the patience, he has my utmost respect for the work he does! Really cheerful, transparent and humble guy who Id recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.
I started using cherished lawn care about two years ago after a recommendation from two friends, at that stage my lawns were full of large weeds and moss , after Stuart and his wife used their expertise my lawns now look green and lush , when people pass by they often ask are they real or imitation I dont hesitate to tell them how they come to look like this.

A few months ago I contacted Stuart regarding my long neglected back garden. Stuart arrived on our agreed date and made a plan to treat the whole garden with weedkiller. On his next visit he rotivated the soil, removed all the stones/rubble etc, then returned to put grass seed over the entire area. A couple of months later after following his advice regarding watering etc I now have a lush, green lawn which looks amazing.....the end result is something I thought was unachievable..I would highly recommend Stuart, he is very knowledgeable, reliable and pleasant to deal with...I couldnt be more pleased with my new lawn!
After the extended dry weather last year our grass was very tired and patchy. Stuart took it in hand and revitalised it in a few weeks, so it now looks lush and healthy again. He also gave us guidance for continued care of the lawn. So grateful!

Stuart has given us a tremendous service for over a year now. Our lawn has transformed and always gets praise from visitors. He s east to communicate with and friendly to all of our family, would definitely recommend.
In August, we despaired with the state of our lawns. To re-turf the front, only, would have cost over £400. We saw the work Stuart had done next door and were amazed. So, we asked Stuart for help. For the same price he has worked miracles. It took 2 bins full of thatch, on the front lawn, then reseeded. It took a lot of water. Small bare patches were re-seeded twice. But what a result on all three lawns. Huge thank you!
