This is our third lawn and garden company and we believe we will keep it forever. The staff stay in touch, advise when the gardeners will come to our home, do A+ work, and are happy to discuss all of our questions. It seems like their competitors have problems communicating when there are questions or problems and they are excellent at billing, but are not particularly interested in discussing things that we felt needed to be reviewed. West Coast is definitely customer oriented.

The West Coast Lawn team did a great job of aerating, topdressing, fertilizing and over-seeding our lawn. We appreciated that they showed up as scheduled, did quality work and then did a thorough clean-up after they were finished. The team also kindly accommodated a last minute request to haul away a large pile of sod that we had removed from our lawn for a reasonable fee.

Brad and his team were exceptional in creating a beautiful front and back garden after our developer fell short. We, along with 4 other neighbors, were very pleased with their service! Our garden is beautiful and their team were on-time, on-budget and immaculate in all they did. Highly recommend!

I reached out to WCL&G to look after some landscaping including the trimming of some high laurel hedges after having learned that the service that I had happily used for over 10 years was no longer doing this sort of work. I was delighted that someone immediately came out to provide a quote that was completely in line with our desires - and then not only was the work promptly scheduled but the agreed upon date was then immediately modified when I asked for this accommodation. The work was excellent - and totally in line with what was planned. So I look forward to maintaining this relationship for our garden landscaping needs - and highly recommend WCL&G.

Right from the beginning it was a very professional inspection and quote with responsive alterations to the work needed. Their use of technology, video recording the work to be done and use of calendaring for delivery of service was impressive. Dates were set and changed and set again with on time service and responsive suggestions to get the results we expected.

The team arrived on time, did a great job, and left the place clean. A few small issues were remedied in a timely fashion. I would not hesitate to refer WCLG in the future.

By far the highest quotations for ifentical work I received. Significantly higher than the second highest.

I have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed with the results. We had contracted to have existing grass removed, replaced with additional soil and re-seeded. Although we had purchased a specific seed they were already halfway through seeding with grass before I noticed. Now we have a mixture of the grass and bee turf we wanted. Further, no additional soil was added so the lawn is now 2 lower. At our request they agree to come back but barely added a top dressing of additional soil and re-seeded. Very expensive labour at the end of it all.

Very pleased with our recent sod installation. The sod was installed very professionally with high quality sod. The site manager, Renny, communicated very well and tried hard to meet our requirements for the installation. The crew that came out made sure that any final adjustments to grading was completed before the sod went down and were in good spirits, despite the challenging damp conditions! I would very much recommend West Coast Lawn and Garden.

Every week my property is looking great all year. They even work through the winter cleaning up, shoveling snow and clearing drains. I also get the same crew each time and they know my property really well now

If I could give 6 stars, I would. This is a LONG review because theres so much to share. From the very beginning, starting from the quoting process, everything they did was well thought-out and carefully done, with great attention to detail. Mark the estimator came out to look at quoting on yard cleanup/pruning, but when I mentioned I was looking for garden redesign, he suggested bringing in their designer to make sure the efforts were coordinated. I love that they had a designer in-house, as it set up the project to be well managed in a comprehensive way. Brittany, the designer, is BRILLIANT. She listened to what we wanted, asked thoughtful questions such as what colours we like and what kind of look/feel we might be going for, and came up with a stunning, artistic design that incorporated all our goals while taking into consideration details such as what kinds of plants work best in different regions of the garden, when they will bloom, how their shapes will affect the overall look, and how the plants themselves interact with each other (i.e., planting attractors for beneficial bees/butterflies next to the veggie patch that were also edible and aesthetically pleasing). The crew was professional, fast, and thorough, the cleanest yard work Ive seen anyone do. They also had knowledgeable people on staff who could share knowledge and tips about caring for the garden, how the soil behaved, etc. I feel the price was fair for the quality and value, and I highly recommend West Coast Lawns & Gardens. I cant rave about them enough! And theyre all genuinely nice people, too!

Wonderful experience with West Coast Lawns! We needed some serious garden clean-up and within a week of our initial call, Brad was onsite looking everything over and discussing various options. They managed to squeeze our job in a week later. Ben and crew were right on time, friendly and professional. They left our garden glowing. Were thrilled!

Our lawn looked terrible last spring, so for the first time we hired a lawn care company. We found WCL & G to be very good and totally reliable. They visited when they said they would, they responded to any questions we had and provided advice where needed. So, this fall, I would say our lawn has never looked so good (and we have been in this home for 25 years). Most of the credit has to go to the company, but I cant resist giving myself a little credit for regular watering (all within municipal guidelines of course!). I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
