I called Johnsons Lawn care, and spoke with Casey. They came by to take a look at my horrific back yard and gave me great ideas on how to handle the weeds taking over everything. The cost was fair and the crew got it done in short order the day they were scheduled to come out. We will be getting together in the spring to talk about a more comprehensive solution to my weed problem. I'm looking forward to having them back out. I totally recommend Johnsons family business to get your lawn care needs squared away.
I had a horrible experience with them a few years back. So much so I felt the need to come back and write about it (Google reviews was not big thing back then). 1. We had them scheduled to come out and mow/edge our back and front lawns while we were out on a long vacation. Turns out they did not. Neighbors started noticing and texted me about it since HOA is pretty strict about keeping our lawns trim and proper. Upon checking with Mick, he assured me confidently that it was all done. I got back, got the HOA notice and after I questioned him again he finally accepted that he "thought" he might have missed our house. 2. Just out of the blue a few months later Mick comes out and says "You always find a reason not to pay of us" when I was just trying to clarify the billing. That was it for me and I decided to stop all services right then and there. Overall, Casey was a very lovable guy. He always took care of our lawn well. But the way Mick is - extremely aggressive, arrogant, has this attitude like "Whatever I do I am right, and you are wrong" is not good.
This company is terrific! They completely cleaned our front yard and backyard. Trimmed trees and shrubs, cleaned the numerous beds, de-thatched, aerated, re-seeded, fertilized our grass. The whole yard was clean and tidy when they left. Super courteous and friendly. Will use them again!! Highly recommend!
Came out and did a great job of spring cleanup for the good price they quoted. They also did shrub and tree trimming. The crew was very hard working and followed directions exactly. They also had good suggestions. We would be happy to use them again and plan on doing so.
Casey was awesome. Our lawn was suffering and we didn’t know what to do. He gave us some options and so we elected to go with what he suggested.. wow what a big change in our lawn. Full, super green and plush. He is coming back to take care of our back yard. He was not able to do it then as we have a bunch of item to clear our so he can do his magic. If you want great service at a fair price, I highly recommend these guys. Thanks Casey
We had johnson come out for aerating our lawn and had a pleasant experience. I referred them to my dad who moved to the area for simple lawn mowing services. Big mistake. Mick came and was quite abrasive- was trying to upsell services and would not take no for an answer. My dad did not want roundup used in his yard- mick was actually MOCKING my dad about this to his face. Totally unprofessional. The yard has flowers trees and shrubs all around the fence line and mick kept saying it would be $300 up front to clear it all out. My dad kept repeating he didn’t want them to touch it- just mow the lawns. Guess what? Mick wasn’t having it. The quote included the clearing out of all the plants in addition to the lawn services. I cannot fathom how a business can’t listen to a potential customer and what their needs and wants are. I genuinely feel bad for recommending them to my dad. Never again will they get another recommendation from me.
I have used Johnson Lawn Care for three years and I have been so very happy with their outstanding work and professionalism! I enjoyed their work so much that I switched to weekly lawn service and I've used them to clear some property a few times each year and do aerating. I highly recommend Mick and his company! I love the way my lawn looks! We are moving out of state and sold our house in two days with multiple offers, the recurring comment was how great our lawn looked!!! I hired Johnson Lawn Care Service. Mick come out and gave me an estimate and what his workers would do when they came. The first months were good, then as the time went on the work became less professional. I started to watch the work they did and was not pleased with the work. I spent a small fortune previously on my yard, stones around the perimeter and landscaping the whole yard. When the workers edged along the stones I now have 6 inches away from the stones. When asked to blow needles from the trees in the back the stones were blown all over and they did not replace them. I had Johnson Lawn aerate and thatch last year and the front of my yard was torn up and never fixed. As time went on and I mentions issues of problems to Mick the owner I was rudely told that I should not watch the workers and that they didn’t need to be watched.......excuse me I pay to have the work done right and when mentioned to them that certain work should be done they just made excuses, such as it’s to hot. REALLY. I am terminating their service and suggest looking for a more professional company, one that puts everything in writings and respects the home owner and their property. One more thing I have read several reviews NOT GOOD. Also having Mick son Casey write a review praising the work. UNBELIEVABLE.
Good people. Hard workers. Did what he said he would do. Id say Mick is awesome.
With the way in which their employees conduct themselves in public, committing Assault, I would never want any member of there company near my home or family. They are downright unsafe.
Experience with this service is extremely poor. Came to this conclusion after numerous issues.

Dont waste your time with these guys. Made an appointment for them to come out..didnt show up. I called and he said he changed his mind and didnt want to come out and look at the yard.
I am a Realtor and had an upcoming listing which had a back yard that needed mowing, blowing and edging. I called Mick, and he got a crew out to the house the next morning. They were there early and did a great job! I highly recommend Johnson Lawn Care :) Positive

I got the information of Johnson lawn care from google search. I called and they agreed to come out and provide a free estimate for my lawn maintenance. I got a one time lawn care fee of $360 and $160/month for 2 visits. Which is very expensive compared to my friends who stay in same HOA. When my lawn has less than 100 sqft of grass and 8 plants to trim. On mentioning the same that, my friends in same HOA with bigger lawn has lower fee I got this reply from them You try to find some one at less money. You get a cheaper job. Won t show up. Pay for what you get! Which is very unprofessional response when I was just trying to understand why the rate quoted was so high.
We were highly satisfied with their lawn service for this summer from lawn mowing and edge trimming to applying fertilizer on our lawn to ensure adequate nutrition and maintain our lawn healthy and looking clean. The workers and the owner abide by the agreements set forth prior to the service. Nevertheless, monthly lawn care over the summer was prompt and the monthly transactions were smooth; was able to get electronic receipts in a timely manner as well. Last but not the least, the price was very reasonable and practical. Overall, highly recommended.
My mother-in-law had the service for 10 years she has now passed away and had a very good report along with experience and jobs or always done on time and well done
Casey came our to survey my property at 9am and I never heard back from him. I texted him asking what the estimate would be and he finally replied the next day saying they werent interested. Was hoping for a more professional approach in the answer I got.
Called for estimate and agreed upon time/date. No call no show with my property management/myself waiting to pay for services.
Johnson Lawn Care is a professional service that not only does an amazing job to make sure everything looks beautiful with great detail, but is also respectful and caring to the customers. I also appreciate how they have adopted Eastwood Elementary, donating their labor to clean up the grounds and providing bark dust to make the school look amazing so that the students are proud of how great their school looks! Based on the way the driver of the black f150 drives in parking lots I would not recommend them

Our yard always looks fantastic! We had some patches in the grass last year and so we hired Johnson lawn care and our grass has filled in beautifully! It s so nice coming home from work and having a beautifully manicured lawn! Service is top notch and professional!
After only one service I am blown away. My yard looks amazing and I could not be more thrilled with Johnson lawn Care.They are quick to respond a prices are great. I highly recommend them!
The workers were friendly and did good work. However, the owner was unprofessional and dishonest. Twice I was given a quote for work that was outside the regular maintenance that I agreed to, only to have the quote increase dramatically on the day of service. I immediately dropped the service. My experience has been, those that own their own business and also do the work are much more trustworthy then those that own the business, but hire others to do the work. Johnson Lawn Care Service is one to avoid.
They came out and gave me an estimate quickly and came out the following week . They did an excellent job on a spring clean up on our yard at a reasonable price . We will definitely use their service again and highly recommend them.
I waited all morning for them to come to make an estimate. They didnt even bother to call me and say that they didnt want the job.
Johnson Lawn Care did a fantastic job with my yard. They carefully landscaped it and left it looking great. They even fixed a sprinkler system pipe break that I caused by digging in the wrong place. Im having Johnson come back again because they are always efficient and thorough. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their yard to look impeccable!
Horrible prices
I agree with ladycole. He was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I put up with it for a while but after he was rude to an employee of mine when I was not around, I had enough. I fired them and hired another small local family company which does just as good a job, but is friendly and easy to get along with.
Mick and Casey have been caring for my lawn for over 3 years. I find them both congenial and very easy to work with. They always follow through with my requests, whether in regard to the lawn or the shrubbery, do a stellar job of it and offer suggestions to further improve my one-time dandelion patch. I couldnt ask for a better duo.
I was in desperate need of a yard clean-up, and every time I would look at my yard, I would feel worse and worse. I looked up Johnson Lawn Care Services, called him and he came out the very next day on Mothers Day. In less than a week they had cleaned up my front and back yards and have continued with the upkeep weekly. Im so happy with the results and now feel a sense of pride in my home again. The personal attention to detail and friendly service makes it so that I will recommend Johnsons to everybody.
