The irrigation system on my 1 acre residence previously had rapid sham repairs but many irrigation companies leaving the system faulty, with various sized pipes and missing and improper heads, valve containers not configured properly, and poor coverage to the needed areas. Carolina Landscaping nearly replaced most of the system with industry standard sizes and materials and now the system is functioning well. Carolina Landscaping also does soil testing and lawn maintenance. I am hoping to have them do my exterior lighting in the future. They also removed yard debris and brought it to the county landfill for me. Update: unfortunately never came back this season. Paid for soil analysis and never got it done. Did not call for irrigation system in 2024. The work that was done cost me thousands of dollars to get the irrigation system to a relatively normal state.

I have had quite a few outfits that either want your initial big project ($$$), then cannot be found for followups (all of a sudden they disappear). And I have had the ones that claim to be competent landscapers only to turn out to be glorified mowers. Eric does a great job. He is very knowledgeable and does a great job communicating to the customer. He follows up and will have an at length discussion with you. In fact Eric has given me tips and advise that would clearly take $$$ out of his pocket if I did the work myself. So thats the kind of guy he is. If you think you need a landscaper that really cares about quality of work, price impact and concerns that you may have about your lawn, then Eric is the man for you.

I live in Sea Trail and bc of TS Debby, we still have some standing water that needs to be addressed. So I put out a request for referrals on the ND app and Eric reached out right away. He was prompt in getting to my house and offered his professional opinion about what our issues are. Rather than quoting us a high number (like another excavating company did) he made it clear that aside from doing a little bit of clean up around our pipe, anything else would be a waste of money until the main drain is fixed by the HOA. He explained all of the issues, made sure I understood and even wrote up a note for us to pass along to the HOA. What an incredibly stand up guy. If we are ever in need of landscaping or anything else the company offers, I would call Eric in a heartbeat.

We recently purchased a vacant lot in North Myrtle Beach that needed a little bit of clearing and cleanup. Since we live in Pennsylvania I thought it would be an ordeal to get someone lined up to come and take care of it. I had a cracked irrigation line caused by work from another contractor who was still on site, but was not comfortable trying to repair the line. I called Eric and he carved time out of his day to come and fix the problem. He arrived a little over an hour after I made the call and fixed it in about 15 minutes. After he completed the irrigation line repair, he was able to fix another problem that my contractor was having as well! Thanks Eric!

I called this company to update my front yard landscaping and he wrote an appraisal of the work I needed done that was very reasonable in price. He was on the job site everyday his crew was there, which I really appreciated. They built retaining walls, installed blocks, large rocks, a windmill palm, roses, a few other plants and mulch. He also took the time to repair any irrigation pipes he saw broken. I am very happy with the results and the time it took to get it done. He was very interested in getting things done the way I wanted it done. I would definitely recommend him for any yard project.

Called on March 2nd and finally got an estimate on March 22 for simple clean-up and plant replacement in my rock bed. Just plants. Seriously. I was quoted $6K. Ummm, what?! No sod installation. No border. No rocks. Clean-up (remove a few old plants and weeds) and some new plants. (The area is not that large.) Unless one of the plants is a money tree, Ill pass.

I called to get an estimate, and Eric went to the property the next day to give me an estimate to resod the front and side yards, trim trees and bushes and redo the flower beds. Once they started the work, Eric kept me informed of the process with phone calls, text, pictures and videos since I am not local. Eric did an amazing job. He came to my house on time and did exactly what he said he would do. He removed 7 bushes and 3 trees and then graded all the areas. After that he removed all the debris. My front and my side yards look fantastic. I m very pleased with the work.

I can t say enough about Eric and his crew. They were very professional and you won t find a contractor easier to work with. We had 2 projects, pruning and cleanup of major overgrown greenery and filling in a low area and creating two berms and sodding. The pruning was well done and John and his crew constantly checked with us to make sure it was done the way we wanted it. It was. The landscaping portion of the project had many changes requiring Eric to cancel deliveries and add deliveries along with changing plantings. First thing thst stuck out was Eric answered the phone 9pm on a sat night, who does that anymore . He spent 20 min on the phone helping me figure out a solution to a drainage ditch that Eric knew he couldnt help me fix himself . Thats the 2nd thing that stood out , Ill stop at 3 but there were more , third Eric followed up with me a couple days later to see if I was able to get the issue fixed and I was . Who does that now a days . All I can say is for a company that couldnt do my repair to show that kind of concern , I promise the second I do need one of his services he will be my first call . I was referred to Carolina Landscaping & Design by another company. I spoke with the owner Eric Saunders, we set-up an appointment for an approximate time a few days out. He had the courtesy and professionalism to contact me to let me know he would be a little late for our initial appointment. Our appointment was for an approximate time, so that so impressed me. He came and scoped out the job. He was so professional & genuinely friendly. We discussed what I wanted & he had some really good suggestions to make sure I really got the beautiful yard I was looking for. We scheduled a date for him to come and to do the excavation. That day came he & the crew showed up on time and the job was completed beyond my expectations. The job entailed removing landing scaping, shrubs & bushes that had been planted 26 years ago and were so overgrown. There were also two medium sized trees that had to be removed. What a phenomenal job he did. I have received numerous compliments on how great my yard looks and that they can actually see my house. A couple of neighbors told me they didnt realize my house was so pretty. I mention this so you understand how overgrown everything was. Called me once when mowing to let me know we had water coming out around the garage area and we were able to catch a problem before it became costly. I would recommend their services.

I contacted Carolina Landscaping (Eric) to do brush cutting on approximately two acres. Eric was very responsive with the questions I had and I scheduled a date for him to do the work. When the date arrived it had been raining most of the previous day and was to wet to perform the work. So Eric worked with me to schedule another date when the weather was more cooperative. He showed up at the scheduled time and did a great job cutting the brush. The property looks great! I will be using there services in the future. Mike C.
