White Pine Landscaping in North Kingstown

We were informed we had a hanger over a neighbors yard. They informed us and we were respondent. They were using white pines landscaping. I thought being that white pines was already there doing the work they could take the hanger down. we got a bill three months later for 189O.OO. If I had known how much that would cost I would have looked into the cost to take the tree down. It is not a dead tree, it was a broken large limb resting in the large tree. Potentially a problem if it fell into the neighbors yard. We were more than willing to remove it. I should have called the tree service I’ve used in the past but it seemed urgent given my neighbor was putting a new pool in and as good neighbors, we didn’t want put it off. I hope this review is informative to help others that may be in the same situation.

Does not stand by their projects. They installed a plunge pool two years ago and I have had nothing but issues. We are on the third leak in two years.

If there were an option for a 6 star review I would give it to White Pine Landscaping. They installed a beautiful plunge pool in our backyard and then built a stunning patio around it. Quinn and Justin were hands on and always ready to explain things and give suggestions that matched with the massive remodel we did on our home. White Pine provided landscape design and installed sod quickly and efficiently. And we’re not done with them yet! Can’t wait to finish off the yard in the spring when we can upgrade all the landscaping in the front yard! Thanks to everyone at White Pine! If you’re looking for quality work from an experienced operation call them. You won’t be disappointed!

My husband and I wanted to spruce up our landscaping last fall because it had become overgrown. Richard had recommended scrapping almost everything we had and starting over. He seemed really knowledgeable and came by several times to follow up/ do research. Although it way way over our budget, Richard tried hard to work with us to keep the costs as low as possible. It was still close to $12k, however, which was tough to swallow. After we paid the invoice, that's when the honeymoon with White Pine ended. We were in October so time wasn't really on our side and they would not commit on a date to do the work. Without any notice they showed up one morning and completed the job while we were at work. I got a call from Richard that the work was done, but when I got home, trees that were supposed to have been removed weren't and pipes from our irrigation system had been cut and were left coming out of the ground. Richard did come back and finished the work so we thought all was fine. In the spring, however, several of the plants didn't come in and one of the pricey green giants we had installed on the property line was dead as a doornail. Richard had told us several times in the fall that the work had a 1 year guarantee which is pretty standard as far as nurseries go. I have left messages for the office and directly with Richard as well as sent pictures of the dead plants. No one has reached back out to us. It's sad that White Pine won't stand behind their work and their word. Textbook bait and switch - they wooed us until they got their money and then they no longer cared about following through.

White Pine Landscaping took on a fairly complicated project on our property in North Kingstown last fall. They did a fantastic job removing trees and bushes, landscaping our back yard and constructing a fence surrounding our place so our dogs could safely spend time outside. I found their work to be phenomenal. The workers were friendly, on time and very professional. They were very responsive to our needs and got the job done on time. We were looking for a low upkeep lawn alternative for about 1/2 acre. Quinn sent his designer Richard out who at first gave us an estimate over 4 times our budget BUT explained that this was the fantasy landscaped yard which we could work towards over time and quickly brought it back within budget with the suggestion of a wildflower meadow. The excavator Sean (and his crew) was AMAZING-moving stones and helping to provide a barrier between us and the neighbors, designating an area for a fire pit and removing brambles and grading the area. We are so happy with the result! We did not give 5 stars because we were not given a clear description before we signed on of what we would need to do to get the wildflowers growing. It is difficult to water 1/2 acre of property that is not right next to the house with one spigot and we would have appreciated knowing what was needed to go into this beforehand.

Mark and I were very pleased with White Pines Landscaping. Quinn, Richard and Andrew were a delight to work with. We had a large landscaping project completed that included design, establishing beds, the planting of multiple trees, shrubs and flowering plants, fence work, blue stone paving, sod, lighting, sprinker system.....I could go on and on! They were patient with our questions and would easily pivot if our needs changed. We highly recommend working with White Pines Landscaping. You will not be disappointed! They are wonderful!!

We worked with White Pine to create an extensive plan for renovating our plantings. They provided excellent insight and produced a plan that exceeded our expectations. We booked the job and decided to delay the project due to the drought and watering restrictions currently in place. When I discussed our decision with Quinn, he understood and refunded our full deposit (was substantial) without question. We will revisit the project next year and there’s no doubt they will be our contractor. Great ideas, superb communication, and a fair approach to both pricing and project execution make White Pine Landscaping a leader in their fiweld.
