Hansen Lawn and Landscape LLC in North Haven

So Chris did respond promptly to do some yard work as I was new in town, and I asked if he could clear out the back yard of overgrown weeds and bushes. He gave me a quote of $1200 in mid-March and I asked if we could keep it to about $1000 as I have other expenses and he agreed. Said he's be out the first week of April. I texted and/or called several times and he finally he txted me mid-April and said he would be over the next day to "complete the work" even though he didn't start. Hm. I texted him I need more notice as I can't just take off work last minute. I then texted and/or several other times in April and he didn't respond. Ended up hiring someone else. Really, if you can't do the work, at least let your customer know. Good Manners are worth good reviews!

They do a great job and participate in a program to take care of lawns for deployed service members. Doesn't get better than that. Thanks!!

Paid for a spring clean up, still several sticks all over our flower beds which I was assured would be removed but never were. There was a plastic bag that had blown into my yard, the workers walked right past it. None of the downed branches in our bushes were touched. Ended up having to pay another company to come in and do a 2nd spring clean up the right way.

Chris and his men were lifesavers. My daughter and her roommates are Quinnipiac seniors and were snowed in at their house on Dixwell. I called Chris from New Jersey and he was there promptly. Chris and his men did a Great job; plowing the driveway and shoveling the walkways. It was the the first time we ever spoke and he was kind and gracious and said he would bill me after he was done. He sent pictures and called me to make sure the girls were happy. I highly recommend Chris and his company. Very professional and communicated with me throughout the day. Which I really appreciated. I don’t usually do any kind of reviews but if you live in that North Haven Conneticut area, definitely use Chris and his company. Super good guy!! You have a new customer for life. Thanks chris. The company I used for almost 5 years contacted me mid-summer to tell me they could no longer provide lawn maintenance. So I tried Hansen Lawn & Landscape after reading the two glowing reviews. I met the owner, Chris Hansen, and he was nice. I spoke to him about my needs and he gave me an estimate for grass mowing. He came in the evening and mowed the lawn. It was downhill from there. I texted him about weed and moss removal and he assured me that it would be taken care of but the weeds remained out of control because he never took care of anything. He sent me a bill for three mows when he only performed one. He was quick to respond to the billing issue but when I sent an email asking if he would be able to assist with storm cleanup following Isiasis, he never replied. He became completely unresponsive to my texts and emails during our brief working relationship. I didn’t send massive texts or emails and each attempt at communication had to deal with the work I thought I hired him to perform but he never completed. Fortunately, I was able to find a much better lawn care company: Ferraro Lawn Care Service. Please contact them if you’re looking for a company that is responsive, proactive and provides excellent lawn care service.

I took a look a chance on a young company with professional presence. Energy, responsiveness, quality work with care and the personal touch, we had extreme after winter care to prepare the house for sale, providing many important touches beyond lawn care, helping to present the home for a quick closing. It's a shame that once the home is sold we won't need their service in this area. They also do winter driveway and sidewalk care.
