I had a very disappointing experience. I purchased the year and paid in advance. I watched the first application and called in that the tech made one pass on my front and back lawn, ignored the sides altogether. The second application was faster, just as skimpy and neighbors all received same. I called to cancel and was given a bit of a run around. A check arrived, very little refund. Very sorry I got involved with this company.

American Landscape and Lawn Service is a WONDERFUL company. Their products, which are non chemical,, have made a major difference in my lawn and I am very happy with their service and Professionalism.

Buyer beware! Don t be a sucker like me, I assumed they were as good as advertised, they aren t. First, their office staff is awesome - easy and friendly to work with A+. The lawn product is good, it works but I don t know if there is a big difference from what they do vs. other companies - they have their own seed they recommend and application programs. It works but not sure it s different than others, besides just a more formally managed by a more corporate business model. What you need to be aware of as a customer is that you will work with their local sales rep (1 person) and your entire experience will be as good as that person. My rep is arrogant, abrupt, unprofessional and doesn t take any responsibility for the work done and questionable results. He insulted my wife during a meeting about our lawn not looking ok (brown and dead) 2 days after they applied a treatment - it looked great before. We wanted to make sure our grass was healthy and not getting worse - 1 year ago we paid LS $2000 to slice seed it. He unprofessional argued with her about how we cared for it and made false claims presuming we didn t mow and water we did what they said to do! In fact if he checked my customer record, his would know that his boss, region manager told me not water for 2 weeks because we had so much rain. He said the heat and dry climate would help the grass grow back - I trusted him. my rep then said what do you want ME to do about it? And then abruptly decided he didn t want our business anymore, saying Maybe we should be done here! That all happened during a 5 min conversation in person while showing our lawn and sharing our concerns. What a terrible customer service experience @Lawn Science, especially given your cost and brand you want to convey. Don t be a sucker like me. Shop around.

Weve been using them for a year now and have seen a noticeable improvement in our lawn quality. Additionally, had some landscaping done. They were fair in the price, open and honest with communication and did an absolutely fantastic job. Would highly recommend for both services and will continue to be a customer.

Lawn Science is a professional business. We had aeration and seeding done, but we had some leaves still on the ground and I had hoped they would have recommended that we pick up all the leaves by a certain date. We did not know exactly when they were coming. Otherwise, they are on top of our lawn needs and honestly our lawn has been looking better and better since Lawn Science has been servicing our property.

I initially selected Lawn Science for lawn maintenance because they use safe organic products which was a concern since we have a dog. Before they began work my lawn was mainly clover, weeds and crabgrass. After the first year of lawn applications we had them seed for us as well. During the second year you could see a dramatic change in our lawn. Its been a few years now and we continue to use their service and our lawn looks great. Beyond pleased

Ive been a customer of Lawn Science for around 4 years (after trying to maintain our yard for 16 years with minimal results). I saw a vast positive improvement to the appearance and health of our lawn after only 1-2 years and the lawn continues to look great. The Lawn Science folks (office and field) are friendly and responsive to any questions Ive had and always took the time to explain what they were doing and why.

American Lawn Science installed a new lawn for me several years ago. About 16,000 sqft with 200 yards of engineered soil. There were some challenges but the outcome has been amazing. Great company, great employees! Whenever I call, someone always answers or calls you back almost immediate. The service technicians who do the applications are well educated on each application and are very friendly, always ready to answer questions and provide feedback on what they are seeing. Our lawn has never looked better, and my neighbors are always complimenting us on how good the yard looks.

One thing I dont like is that they are not clear on what is done for each application. And comparing different offers is very difficult. Should not have to spend so much time attempting to contrast and compare offerings.

Been with them 5-6 years - very pleased. I like their organic approach and 6 applications under the All American plan. They reseeded back yard after large trees were removed - grass looks great and have since recommended to 2 others who also joined in the program. When a unique weed invaded they were there to irradicate it. Especially like the email before the service day so I can mow the lawn prior to the application.

We had Lawnscience begin treating our lawn in 2022. They are a game changer, our lawn was on its last legs, either needed to be torn out or be saved by a pro Lawnscience saved it, slice seeding and treatments have it looking brand new additionally, they are responsive and do what they say they are goin to do, a breath of fresh air !

We worked with Steve to adjust to an organic treatment and they are better than ever. Horrible company! They seeded my lawn and most of it died. They did not care and told me to find someone else. I found out that there are many better companies out there and they also cost less! TruGreen is more knowledgeable and all around is a better company.

My wife and I have used American Landscape & Lawn Science twice now and could not be happier. The first job took care of an erosion issue under the deck along with routing water away from the foundation. The work that was done functions and looks great! The second job in the front of the house was purely cosmetic. We wanted some boulders and various plants along with a tree. Aaron designed it and his crew installed it. Everything looks so good! From the front office, to Aaron, and the crew, it was a pleasure.

My Dad used to say You cant make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Thanks to American Landscape and Lawn Science, that is not always true. Our lawn went from a dusty patchy yard to a very nice lawn once it got the expert treatment it needed. ALLS is reliable, easy to work with and responds quickly to any issues. Starting with Steve and the front office, they are a dream team. You can plant trees, flowers and shrubs, but if the lawn doesnt look good and healthy nothing else will either.

A visible difference when I do not use their service each year.

We have used American landscaping to maintain the quality of our grass for years. They have kept our grass in great shape and always been very responsive to our questions/concerns. Our grass is beautiful and our weeds have disappeared. They always let us know when they are coming, leave clear instructions as to mowing after a treatment and are mindful of our dog.

If you do not start with a great lawn, they will not help. If you call and tell them you have weeds, they will eventually get around to it. They really dont care about the customer. I would not recommend you use them, do your best to take care of your lawn and save your money..

They not only maintain our lawn but also have helped redesign some landscaping as well as help with the area around a new pavilion. Everyone that works there is nice, helpful and hardworking. We started out with an absolutely horrendous lawn. There was barely any grass and lots of weeds. We were cautioned it would take a couple years to show improvement. We saw results after the first year and it has continued to improve. It has helped tremendously. We are very happy.

I had the best experience from start to finish! Sage was the absolute best to work with. She listened and brought my vision to life. Her crew made sure I was happy with the placement of the plants before they moved forward and they did a beautiful job. American Landscape and Lawn Science created a stone staircase in my yard recently, and want to share my good fortune. Previously I had a few landscape companies provide ideas and quotes, but until I met Aaron, I wasnt impressed. He has great vision and came back to reassure me he could make it work. They showed up on time, everything was tidy during the job and immaculate when they left. Aaron and the crew did a fantastic job with my project. We had them design and install new landscaping around our home and install new stone steps to one entrance. Both projects were total transformations and exceeded my expectations. I love the steps and trusted their judgment on what to do here. The result was so much better than I imagined and I thank the crew every time I use them. Regarding the beds, they took great care to not damage the yard as they worked and did a great job installing the plants. Excellent customer service overall. Poor customer service and shady work. Prepaid for the 5 step process this season after seeing they were slightly less expensive than TrueGreen. Dont let the few good reviews fool you. I worked from home due to COVID and finally watched them apply the last treatment. The girl did one pass around the circumference of my back yard and nothing else. I went out after she left thinking the machine had a wide spread....no such luck. I called LawnScience and spoke to Meghan to ask nicely if she can reschedule the treatment for the spots she missed. After a short while, Meghan called back saying she spoke with the tech and if I had taken the time to walk outside I would see there are pellets. I explained half my yard and the lower lot was missed but Meghan said theres nothing they can do and its my last treatment anyways. Im sure this is a common complaint as she seemed pretty comfortable telling me Im SOL. Unbelievable...I will pay the extra for ANYONE else to service my lawn and never allow this scam of a company back.

Chris and his team are the best! They will get your lawn to its fullest potential. If you need to put up privacy trees, re-sod, take care of bugs, they do it all and more and for a fair price. This is not a run of a mill company like so many others out there. They have been in the business since the early 80s and have a very knowledgeable staff. Give them a call; youll be pleased with the results!

Love working with a family run company that keeps their promises. Have seen neighbors yards that were brought back to life and decided on using them. My law is springing back to life as we speak. I also have had the experience of seeing them plowing a friends condo. They always kept their promises for the association.

After I wrote this angry review I called the office and asked to speak to Steve. He was out of the office until today so I left a message asking for a return call. Steve called me back this morning, we talked about the issues, I apologized for the review and explained that I am extremely happy with the condition of our lawn and hope to continue doing business with him. I ve had Lawn Science for the past few years and was so happy with my lawn that I ve also paid to have my mother s yard done as well. I m not sure what changed this year but something isn t working. Every time I receive notification of their service I have to call to find out which property is scheduled, once this past summer my mother s yard was scheduled and they treated her neighbors yard instead. This year I mistakenly took their professional opinion regarding lime, I believe the deadline was sometime back in August. My charge card was charged, also back in August, one month later I received a bill for Lime. I had to call in again and was told Oh yeah, those went out by mistake, you re all set . Last Thursday I received my last treatment for the year, they ask you to keep your gates unlocked and pets in the house, but they don t tell you when they re coming. They were at the house before 8AM and of course my dog was out. On Friday I was scheduled for my HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Lime application so I kept the dog inside and worked on getting my yard leaf free for 4 hours. When nobody showed up by 1:30PM I called Meg and was told Oh they ll be there . At 4:00 I called back and was told our guy had a family emergency, we ll have to reschedule . That s when I had enough, I said credit my account . Monday I got a call from Chris stating he had someone available now to apply my Lime. Gee, I thought I was the customer but he was so rude customer service isn t something they practice! They lost 2 accounts today! Seems as though the credit doesn t happen as quick as the charge either

I have called this company and was promised a call back from Steve. No call back as of yet even though I placed 3 follow-up calls. The office staff is very friendly, but where is Steve? At this point, I have lost all hope for doing business with this company.

Going on my second year and I cant believe how good my lawn is doing. I have friends who are very happy also. One friend had lost her lawn to drought and moles.. I just drove by her place, it looks incredible.. she did have them seed it..but it looks almost as good as mine..:) I think Ill upgrade to the top service.. i did drop back to the middle package thinking i can do some of that stuff like tick control. Its much cheaper and easier to pay a little extra and have them do that.

We contracted with these folks to fertilize a newly seeded lawn at our newly built house. We asked for a contract for next year as well and paid for the fertilization in advance. Despite our telling them when the fertilizer for the new lawn was optimum, they did not come, and balked when we called to ask them to come asap. We were told that they could not say when they would come. We also never received the contract information for next year even though we were prepared to buy the premium plan. Then we were accused of being rude when we pressed them to get here. Mercifully, they are as anxious to get rid of us as we are of them and called to say they were sending our money back. We are so relieved, having already made alternative arrangements. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, as they never provided us with anything but unfulfilled promises for service.

We began your service the spring of 2017 with a lawn that was in need of care, to say the least. I had grub damage, chinch bug damage, and a good deal of weeds. Looking at my lawn now, in the fall of 2017, it is lush, green, free of weeds and beautiful. The service at American Lawn Science is awesome and the products are superb. The employees are friendly, knowlegable and responsive to my concerns. I will definitely be using the service in the coming years.

I lost my entire lawn this year mostly to grubs. After 18 years of I can do it myself, I finally called American Landscape and Lawn Science. These two pictures are about 45 days apart. The first one is the day after they slice seeded and fertilized. Almost December and the lawn is just as green.

They were knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. The Lawn Science tech was professional in every way, and I would recommend this company to anyone.

Our experience with Lawn Science was a flop all around. Not only did they over fertilize the lawn (fertilizer still visible in chunks 8 months later) and thus burn out large sections, their equipment went over areas we specifically told them not to (and continued to do so after we mentioned it again.) destroying entire areas of lawn, Our lawn is a wreck after a year with them and we are paying substantial repair costs to another more reputable landscaper. I tried to address this directly with the owner (several calls and email), Steve, and when he finally got back to me, was treated quite abruptly and told he would not do anything. Zero customer service, which is really what a business is built on. Also, the frequency of their sales calls borders on harassment. If you care about your lawn, I would not recommend Lawn Science at all.

American Landscape and Lawn Science is a very progressive company. Their level of customer service is exceptional. The knowledge base within their staff on lawn and turf is second to none in the industry.
