PPLM has serviced our lawn for years and made it one of the greenest lawns on our block. One neighbor thought it was just our side of the street that happened to have better grass, but then a house on their side started using PPLM and their grass is now green. When wed taken a short break from PPLM, our grass took a notable decline. We resumed service and continued with them ever since, and our grass is beautiful and healthy. We mown our own grass, but theres something about their fertilization products and schedule that seem to work magic on our lawn. We also use their aeration and seeding service.

I have only written a review twice over the past 10 years, but couldnt help but take a moment to say how pleased I am with PPLM and the overall experience I have had to date. You can tell they care as a small business owner, and it shows when youre interacting with anyone from the staff at PPLM. They take their time to educate you, and stand by their work. To me it has been a completely different experience from the likes of Virginia Green and TruGreen experiences I have had in the past. I would recommend them if you are on the fence but unsure of the return on investment from handling the work on your own versus outsourcing it.

If we are home, one of the team members will ring the bell to inform us if any precautions need to be taken depending on the scheduled service, such as keeping any animals inside for a few hours until the treatment dries and is no longer harmful. Our lawn has never looked better since we began using their lawn maintenance services. We no longer have weeds, grubs, tunnels just beautiful healthy grass. They are a local business that really cares about my lawn. Before hiring PPLM I had other lawn spraying businesses come out to give me an estimate and details of their spray and fertilization program. To me, living in Virginia where grass is harder to grow, price is second to quality of the complete program. They weren t the least expensive or the most either. Yet their program exceeded the others.

Weve used Picture Perfect for three years running and they are always responsive, courteous, and really know how to maximize our yards potential. When we first moved into our current home, our yard/soil was in rough shape because of the poor soil quality (mostly clay) under our new construction. Its been a process, but finally we have a thick green yard that is resistant to weed invasion. I highly recommend their team.

3 season no results better then what we had. only early spring had ok grass always was a reason for bad looking results. hot, to much rain, not enough watering, dogs.

I went with PPLM after having new sod just turn to trash from another lawn company. I made the switch last August and the improvements happened almost immediately. I couldn t believe the results. They said give them a year and it would be right. After 7 months I can t help but believe them. A few of my neighbors have since signed with them as well. I am amazed. This company always answers the phone, answers all questions will simple terms that make sense to everyone and if they are unsure about an issue Brandon will come out and take a look. I have never known much about how to take care of my lawn and this is my first home with an irrigation system. They are teaching me so much about what to look for and how to monitor what my lawn needs. They take care of all of the chemicals and grub control. Absolutely floored with results. After my most recent mowing, about 3 weeks after seeding/water, my yard looks FANTASTIC. I cant believe how well it turned out just after my first year. I would recommend them to anyone, and wish the whole neighborhood would take them up. Had a tree removed in front yard and can barely tell it was there now. Back yard, was completely barren of grass, as the tree that was before it, killed it off...which is now gone, and it too, shall now flourish! PPLM has been an amazing service, customer service is phenomenal and the time they took to make sure I knew what I was doing, was great. They take pride in their work and it shows. They ensured success as they see it as part of their project too. Will continue to use the service from here on out.

After using VA Green for several years, I continued to loose my yard every year around June and July with full irrigation! Every time I contacted VA Green, all I ever got was an note on the bill on the door when they applied a scheduled application, saying I need to upgrade to the more expensive plan!! Never had anyone explain why. I saw a yard in our neighborhood with the PPLM sign out front that was beautiful! I contacted them to come out. They were so helpful. Finally someone explained the many issues I needed to correct. They even gave me the options to do some of it myself if I wanted to and they would let me know where to get the product! I knew these were the guys I wanted to try. After just the the first year my yard is one of the nicest in our neighborhood. Very first time it made it all year as beautiful as it was in the spring!

PPLM is an amazing company. When I called them for a consult on my lawn I had been using a company and still did not have a lawn that made me smile. From the very beginning I felt as tho my lawn mattered to them. I expected it to take a couple of seasons to see a difference, but within 6 months I had a beautiful lawn. Their fertilization treatments got my lawn green and full quickly. They have addressed several problems that I have had and are very knowledgeable in all aspects of lawn care. This spring, I was so embarrassed by the condition of our lawn. It was 90% weeds and bare spots. We contacted several lawn companies, and decided to go with Picture Perfect Lawn for several reasons. They are a small, local, family owned company and took the time to explain their processes and to educate the customers. Their rates were reasonable, and offered a convenient on-line payment system. Caety and Brandyn are great to work with and always are quick to reply to any questions or concerns we have. They have frequent You-Tube videos and newsletters that address a wide range of lawn care topics. This fall, we decided to go with the liquid aeration that was offered by PPL. After the aeration, seeding, and fertilization, my lawn is now green, lush, and is in the best condition it has ever been! We are so happy with the results, and highly recommend PPL! The results and customer service are unbeatable!

We love Picture Perfect Lawn Maintenance! We got estimates from several companies before choosing PPLM. They were much more personal and friendly and we liked the fact they are family owned. They took time to explain in detail everything they proposed. They always give us a breakdown of the work they perform and if we have questions they take time to explain. They also have wonderful videos online that explain lawn care in even more detail.The best part is that we have the best yard in our cul-de-sac! We recommend them to everyone!

Once on their schedule theyre like clock work, takes a few weeks to get started once youve signed up. Pricing is on par or below their competitors which is always a plus. Only issue Ive had is sometimes they are difficult to get a hold of, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Ill be sure to update my review next spring to reflect how theyve done restoring our yard once theyve had a full year to work on it. UPDATE... Its been a year since theyve worked on our yard. The yard has greatly improved! They went above and beyond to address our concerns and we couldnt be happier with their customer service. They truly care about their customers and the work they do. When PPLM first started as my lawn care service, my yard was awful. Bare spots. Mostly weeds. This is their second year taking care of my yard, and the change is amazing. My lawn is full and thick and almost no weeds anywhere. They are wonderful.

Best lawn company in the tri city area

We have a fairly tiny yard, so when we bought the house I told myself, self, you can totally handle this--no big deal. After a few years of staring at my ugly brown grass I realized that yards are basically the worst and I gave up. My neighbor (who was probably just as digested by my terrible yard as I was) recommended PPLM and I went for it. Its only been about 6 weeks since they started, but holy heck my yard looks good. Its green and pretty and the edges are perfect and the mulch looks amazing. Our guy--Blake--checks on the yard, leaves me explanations as to why theyre doing or not doing certain things, and has basically taken my yard from being the most embarrassing on the block to one of the best. I could not be happier with the work or the customer service. In fact, I cant remember the last time I was this impressed with the professionalism of a company. Best decision Ive made in years.

Picture Perfect takes very good care of my elderly mothers lawn. The lawn itself is very challenging due to heavy shade issues and she is no longer able to water it. But the maintenance crew is very considerate of her, even willing to do a quick odd job or two such as changing a light bulb or carrying in groceries when asked.

PPL has been fantastic. Theyre reliable in lawn mowing and quick to respond to e-mails. The properties they mow for my organization are vacant, and several times they have alerted me to vandalism at a property in a rough area. It has been incredibly helpful to know that theyre not only mowing, but also letting me know if anything is amiss.
