From the initial contact, to the quote, to the completion, they were extremely quick and reliable. Very professional and left no trace of their presence. Too much detail in telling thus experience with these people. If only their work looked like the photos they present as theirs, I would be writing a positive review. To make it short. Things that happened and things they wont make right. 1. Jeremy was devious in his quote. Didnt differentiate in plant and cost to plant after I mentioned how much another co charged, because BTE charges as much or more. 2. Misled me leading me to believe I would have pink flowers on half of shrubs in Winter, yellow on a Summer bloomer. NOT TRUE. Yellow not a flower and one small pink flower all year. Two of those sasanquas died. 3. Sod put down was obviously grown on weeded dirt. Weeds all over yard and TALL, some looking like small trees with wood srems, as tall as 3 ft...and very quickly when weather was getting warm. 4. Because we were calling BTE to come and see the yard, to fix it, we allowed them to grow over one month in order for them to see how the yard was full if weeds, some we had never seen anywhere. We, before we reached our 70s had sodded 4 yards ourselves, and we only had beautiful grass, no weeds. Right now, our front yard does not have the very tall weeds. We have some spots of clover, but Chris came out today and immediately said the weeds were because we were not caring for the back lawn they had done, that we should have cut it over the last month. We are not ignorant enough to believe we would not have this abundance if weeds had we only cut the weeds. WHAT CHRIS SEEMED TO FORGET IS THAT HE HAD COME OUT BEFORE AND TOLD US WE HAD SOMETHING IN THE SOIK CAUSING THIS. HE ALSO FORGOT HE TOLD US WE NEEDED TO PUT A PREEMERGENCE FOR THE WEEDS IN THE SHRUBS......THEY PUT NOTING DOWN TO DETER WEEDS WHEN THEY ORIG DID THE WORK. BUT THAT DAY HE SAID HE WOULD DO IT FOR $350 .??? Something that should have been done to start with. He also offered to come out 3 x a year for $55 each time and that would give us pretty grass. Shouldnt it have been pretty to start with once the weather was warmer? Another thing...when my sprinkler would not work to test to make sure their rough tilling of the yard hadnt broken it, the battery appeared to be dead, they said. Someone either called the office or pretended to in order to get a price. $200.00 they quoted me. I declined. The next day I went out and opened the battery box and found 2 AA batteries....for $200.00??? Bottom line, Chris came out today, after the appt was changed for the 3rd time. He said it was our fault. Was doing nothing about it so my husband told him they were getting nowhere and to leave. I KNOW THAT HES GOING TO COME BACK WITH SOME EXCUSE THAT SOUNDS VALID, BUT DONT BELIEVE IT.HE DID THAT TO THE OTHERS WITH A NEGATIVE REVIEW AND HE WILL DO IT EVERY TIME THINKING HE WILL BE BELIEVED. THEY MAY HAVE DONE RIGHT BY SOME BUT YOUbDONT KNOW IF YOULL GET LUCKY OR GET TAKEN LIKE WE DID. ONE MORE. I WANTED TO ADD 5 MORE BUSHES IN TGE FRONT. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT COME BACK FOR UNDER $2500.00. THIS WAS AFTER I HAD JUST PAID OVER $3000.00 for the weeds they put down in my back yard. I SINCERELY HOPE YOU DONT FALL FOR WHATEVER TALLTALE OR EXCUSE HE POSTS HERE. Yes, he also said that anything we wanted done was not in the contract. So we were supposed to know how bad the work would turn out and do you think he would have put in the contract if the yard fills WITH weeds and SHRUBS DIE, THE CONTRACTOR WILL MAKE GOOD. NO, I DONT THINK SO. NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS WITHOUT COVERING IN A CONTRACT ANYTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG EVEN IF YOU THINK IT WONT. AGAIN, DONT LET ANY EXCUSE WRITTEN HERE BY THEM SWAY YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TRUTHFUL. WHEN THEY TRY TO GET $200.00 for 2 AA batteries, thats thievery, taking advantage of an older person because they think we arent sharp enough to catch it. Nor did Chris apparently recall what he told us last year or even that he was here....but I remember everything he said AND DENIED THIS YEAR.

Requested a Quote For Lawn Maintenance , was told when someone would be here to give me a quote and leave it at the door, or email it to me. I was home waiting for 2 days for someone to come by, NOONE ever stepped foot on my property nor able to get into backyard due to it being padlocked. The property has Motion Activated Surveillance Equipment with DVR and 24/7 live stream view on Monitor. After emailing them again asking where this person for the quote was, i was told HE HAD been on here and evaluated it.. Really? ... Did he fly into my backyard ? Did he step onto the front yard being invisible ? mabybe somone drove PAST my house and glanced at it. How can someone give a Honest Fair Quote like that. IT WASNT. The send me a Quote for the most outrageous prices i have ever gotten , In the Thousands . So They obviously LIE about what they do and Give Random Made Up Quotes more or likely grabbed From Google maps. I would NEVER let someone work for me who starts out *POTENTIAL* NEW Customers like that.

Between The Edges installed a retaining wall on one end of our pool, along with sod, a fire pit, and Palmetto trees. We couldnt be happier with their work. Because of the weather and BTE having other jobs ahead of ours, the start date on the work on our backyard was delayed a few weeks. I add that only because if youre looking for landscaping work and consider BTE, know they are in demand so you should contact them sooner rather than later. For us, it was worth waiting for BTE. Id hire them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Chris and his crew could not have been any more professional and nicer, did absolutely everything that they stated the would do. Chris really knows what he is doing and his suggestions were invaluable. My retaining wall is absolutely beautiful. Susan C

I am unable to comment on their lawn care because they were not able to keep a appointment with me. I contacted them for a lawn care appointment. The lady I spoke to on the phone scheduled an appointment and said that someone will be in touch after they review my yard by that evening. Two days passed and I called to check on the status of using their service. She stated that the professional must have not turned in the paperwork. She would speak to him and send me the quote later that day. I have not heard anything since. I have decided not to use or recommend base on that continuous incident. Very unprofessional.

We wanted Asiatic Jasmine planted in our sloped yard and the sprinkler system repaired. We were told soil needed to be brought in for the plants to grow in. A truck load of rocky sand was added to our yard, the plants were planted but not watered in and then a week later the newly planted yard was dug up to fix the irrigation system. Everything since has been a nightmare. the sand was like concrete and made it very difficult for the plants to grow. Every rain and watering caused the sand to wash away, collecting at the bottom of the driveway and in the drainage system at the front of the house. This resulted in the basement flooding and a retaining wall had to be built up to stop the build up of sand at the bottom of the driveway. An entire kiddie pool full of sand had to be removed from the driveway. This has been the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had.

These people are careless when cutting lawns. I have had my water line busted twice, flowers butchered, one phone line cable cut and my neighbors have had their cable cut twice. People have said they are a good price, but it comes with a huge headache to get everything repaired.

Our house is in Jones Creek and we had a large. complicated, multi level stone retaining wall with steps done and it turned out beautifully. Brent and the guys were super and polite. This company is the real deal. Professionals all the way.
