I had a great experience with countryside landscaping. Joe Willis and his crew completed the job in 6 days. A new retaining wall, new sod and tearing down old wall and concrete. They cleaned everything up afterward and have come back to check on things afterward. He answers all my calls and puts my mind at ease with his explanations. Joe with Countryside Landscaping was WONDERFUL to work with from the beginning to the end. We were building a house and he met with us prior to construction beginning and helped us devise an overall landscape plan, from sidewalk placement, to sod, to picking plants, to proper drainage planning. Joe was a lifesaver after we were left with an absolute mess from another company for a year!! This was not an easy task to clean up and remove all the damage that was done before, but Joe worked hard to get the job done. He far exceeded our expectations. He would do more than was asked of him and even work early or later than expected. He fixed all of our drainage issues, which was a huge deal for us! He was able to get everything draining properly and then grade the land and start working on a retaining wall. He installed beautiful plants and mulch above the wall and installed sod! My husband and I were hesitant about purchasing our home due to the lack of grading in the backyard. Driver pulled out of a gas station and it was raining, he knew we couldnt stop and knew he had a trailer behind a truck and still pulled out almost killed our grandkids...then he flipped us off for pulling out in front of us and I honked because they sat in the lane...look both ways and be professional

You should have seen the way Joe and his staff transformed a small, tree-rooted, dirt walkway into a beautiful 4ft area free of tree roots, adored with boulders that compliment the walkway with an air of pure delight. Similar to one that you might find walking in the mountains. Joe came in, accessed the job, made recommendations, and moved with grace as a man set out to make a difference. His wonderful expertise wove a heartfelt trail that anyone would enjoy. Not only did he use his wisdom, but he landscaped the yard with plants and shrubs that added much charm to the property. His ideas will surprise you, and his prices will please you.

Joe Willis has done four projects for me over the last few years. He showed up on time and quickly completed the scope of work that we agreed on. Joe is one of the very few contractors that did what he said he was going to do. We did not even talk about the cost of the last two projects because I trusted Joe to charge a fair price when the job was done and he did not disappoint.

Joe Willis met with us and heard our concerns and needs to make our very steep back and side yards usable. He made suggestions and incorporated our ideas into his plan. We agreed on a start date, and he was there when he said he would be which is so refreshing. He told us upfront how long our complicated project would take, and he stuck to the timeline. Our finished project is absolutely stunning. We went from a steep, undergrowth covered hillside to two areas which are beautiful and functional. He s a delightful person to work with. We highly recommend him.

We could not be happier with our completed product. Joe landscaped our yard in three phases which was an eye sore and relatively large project, certainly more than we could manage. The first phase was completed in a week and a half in unbearable temperatures, which required landscaping a very large hill. The second phase required building a wall so that we could have some back yard area after the construction of a porch and allowing us access to the area underneath the porch. The third phase involved finishing the landscaping of the newly groomed area and building a connecting walkway back to our driveway. I cannot say enough about the quality, design, vision and the pleasure of working with a professional in this business, that not only delivered an aesthetically attractive job but also addressed necessary requirements, such as water shedding and sprinkler installation and construction of a retaining wall and attractive walkway. Countryside Landscaping is a family owned business that has been serving the CSRA for over 29 years. The service is above all expectations.

Did not set plants in locations agreed upon. Came to location and did not notify customer were there. Left at 11:30, stating would come back that afternoon to finish. I left to get a sandwich posting a note on the door saying I would be back at 12:15 pm. He finished the job before I got back (at 12:15) and left. I called. Joe answered his cell phone, said they were on the other side of town eating lunch. Did not want to come back. Customers plans and desires for their own lawn are not given consideration. Requests for using acidifier (on hand) ignored. No opportunity for input during process, approval of placement during or after work. I guess being fast is a plus if you want to rake in the bucks, but under the circumstances and with the lack of quality, I dont think it is. I discussed the results over the phone. Joe assured me he did quality work and knows more than I do (about what I want/request and am paying for?).
