J And V Lawn Service in Norristown

We have used J&V for three years and they have been great. Recently, they overseeded and thatched my property. They did a fantastic job. Marge has been great with customer service.

Owners have complete lack of accountability and professionalism for property damaged by workers caught on video. Mistakes happen but to not rectify, especially when service is already not that great, is mindboggling. Do not recommend.

This company has no respect of other people's property when mowing my neighbors lawn I always end up with the grass clippings I met the owner and gave her my complaint she said she would take care of it but today they mowed and same old thing I end up with all the grass clipping on my lawn maybe I should put a complaint with the business burewo may be than they will listen

Terrible landscaping company.They make more of a mess than anything.They leave trash behind,spray chemicals without putting up signs,burn up the grass by leaving the blades to low.The workers are taken advantage of.I wouldn't be surprised if they get a visit from several government agencies like OSHA,and others.This is not a good company to hire or work for.They have their workers spraying chemicals with no protection like gloves,masks,or rubber boots.The reviews I read were mostly false and friends or relatives of Vince Villanti.They show up on Saturdays and I hear the leaf blowers all day on my only day off.Not worth the money and they run over the trash with mowers.Clearly not the workers fault but lack of training and supervision. I could go on and on but won't.Many better companies in the area.We will not be hiring them next year.Im President of our community and admit we didn't vet this owner and most are upset with us.Find another company.All the good reviews are friends of the owner.I saw them on his Facebook page. Ridiculous!.

I really love working with this company. I can’t even remember if I’ve already left them a review in the past, but watching them come on time and do such a great job on our lawn today made me think to acknowledge what a good job they do and how helpful they are with any issues or additional requests. Thanks, J&V for making the lawn one less thing to worry about.

J and V Lawn Service was great for the snow removal. As I was out shoveling off my car a plow drove past and a man named Pockets said he would quickly clear a spot for me to move to. Also mentioned to ask the other neighbors to flag him down for help. I thought that was pretty nice of the guy.

J and V cuts my acre+ lawn weekly and also just did tree trimming and tree removal for us. They are quick and professional- but always take the time to wave to my kids and move their toys out of the yard. The price for the service can not be beat and I couldn’t be happier. Half of our yard is a swamp all year due to a neighbors pool drainage, and they manage to handle it well and somehow keep it cut. We had a issue early on where one of their landscapers mower caught a rock and broke my windshield. Was totally an accident and couldn’t have been predicted but the owner insisted on paying- and giving us an extra credit on our account as she knew I was pregnant and didn’t want anything to be an inconvenience. I highly recommend them and will use them for all my yard needs.

J&V was not a pleasure to work with for the last year. We should’ve known when they were hired to cut the basin behind us, and would skip the portion behind our house. They cut our grass for several months and did an ok job. Then we hired them to do our spring cleanup. They showed up about 7 weeks after they said they would. They cut our invisible fence. I called twice and left messages to let them know when it happened and when our cat ran across the street. They would not take an ounce of responsibility, saying that’s its nearly impossible for an invisible fence to be near a bed. Well- the bed is near the property line... and they CUT it. $175 later and a missing cat, they still have nothing to say for themselves. On top of all of that... they sprayed a weed killer all over our grass near the beds. I told them they lost me as a customer. They’re response... ‘we can find a new one!’ What ever happened to “the customer is always right?” In this case, I am!
