I discovered EG Rall Jr. Landscape while searching for a company that could build an outdoor kitchen. I received a few estimates and EG Rall Jr. Landscape was competitive and the most attentive to my needs. Lito was the project manager and with his help we designed the perfect outdoor kitchen to fit our space. He answered all my questions about the design, material, timeline and cost. Our family is thrilled with the final project and plan to keep in touch for some future outdoor projects on our wish list. I would definitely recommend EG Rall Jr. Landscape!
Although we didn't end up using EG Rall Jr to install our landscaping,he was very informative! We have a very wet fenceline and wanted shrubs to help with the water drainage. Even though his ideas were out of our budget, he was very helpful in letting us know what kinds of shrubs would be able to withstand the wet environment. It's always nice to work with an honest business owner!
After interviewing several different landscapers for installing our new patio, we were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism displayed by this company and especially the project lead, Lito. They worked with us on different design options and made great recommendations to utilize the space we had. They were always available and very responsive which is very hard to come by when dealing with contractors. We continue to use their services for more work needed including a pergola and lighting features for our patio for this year. They are a great and honest company and the work they did for us in 2018 continues to look amazing.
We had a large (for us) hardscaping and landscaping job to replace a patio and pool apron, add a deck, improve storm water management, enlarge flower beds, add outdoor lighting, and more that I can't remember. We worked with Lito and he was a pleasure the whole way. EG Rall wasn't the cheapest quote but their quote was the most comprehensive and least likely to result in change orders. Communication was outstanding from start to finish and their crews were always respectful. We're going to miss seeing "The Big Jims" (as my young daughter calls them for some reason) here every day. I can't say enough good things about this company. I can see how these jobs could become a nightmare, but this a great experience. Highly recommended!
We used EG Rall Landscape Design to help with fixing a drainage issue we were have on our property. We also used their services for hardscape design for our pool deck and patio and for improving our landscape. The staff was always professional, courteous and thorough. They truly went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Our drainage issues have been resolved and our patio and pool areas are beautiful! We are planning to continue to work with them to revitalize much of our overgrown and old landscape. We are very satisfied with everything they have done to transform our yard. Thank you!
Just wrapped our backyard renovation and couldn't be more pleased with the result! The project was done on-time and on budget, and the entire EG Rall was a pleasure to work with. I have been working with E.G. Rall Landscaping on numerous garden projects at my home for many years. E.G. and his crew are true professionals. I have a very natural woodland property and E.G. has stayed true to this aesthetic. He has installed a rain garden, plants and trees, hardscaping, and handles the annual spring and summer cleanup. E.G. and his crew are very knowledgeable and always a pleasure to work with. They arrive on the date and time agreed upon and always do an excellent job. I would highly recommend E.G. We have been using EG Ralle for the last five or six years. We have done several projects together, including a couple of unusual drainage projects. Our property has a downward slope onto Park Creek, and the torrential rains of the last couple of years have created challenges, both for directing the water and for maintaining the landscape. We have also done several new plantings, flowers, shrubs, and trees with EG. We also use EG for lawn maintenance, weekly grass cutting, and spring/fall maintenance. Though I can't say that there haven't been a few issues along the way, for the most part our service has been very good. When there have been issues, they have been quickly addressed and rectified, and when necessary, fair accommodations have been made by EG. The service manager is excellent, communicating in a timely and clear way, e.g., letting us know service dates.The crews that has been servicing our home recently have also been very good and easy to work with. EG has been very involved in our relationship and we feel that he sets an example of caring about the client - and especially caring about our landscape. I would not hesitate to recommend EG or his staff for consideration for residential projects and maintenance.

I dont know how their quality of work is, but several times now Ive run into issues on the road with their drivers. Every single time. Theyre aggressive on the road and theres no need to be.
I hired EG Rall Landscape to plant several trees and bushes and lay new sod for 2 houses at once. Everything happened promptly and the communication was terrific. Both homes look great now, couldnt be happier with the process.

Professional, reasonable prices, friendly staff. All around great experience. E.G. put together a thorough proposal for some drainage work we needed. He and his staff were great to work with and the job turned out beautiful. We are very happy and we will be hiring them again for future projects.

Hired EG Rall for EP Henry patio cleaning, repair and sealing. Company was recommended by EP Henry. The project was a disaster. The project lead, Lito, made a decision to use silver/gray polysand in the paver joints on brown/tan (Dakota Blend, Coventry I) pavers. It looked horrible. Received excuse that thats what they always use. I was then told the polysand had a reaction with the sealing they used which caused discoloration of the joint sand. Worker came back and scraped out the newly placed sand to put new sand down. The worker scratches several pavers, at least 8. EG Rall, Jr. stated that I did this when patio furniture was moved. He couldnt take ownership that his employee did a sloppy or careless job in removing the sand from the pavers. The patio had some perimeter pavers that moved from initial patio installation. Where the patio was repaired, along the front of the patio now has 2 low areas that puddle when it rains. Again, I was told that they didnt do anything that would cause this. They didnt follow EP Henrys patio cleaning recommendation not to use a power washer. There was no pride in the outcome or customer satisfaction of the project, just get it done and on to the next project. There was no oversight of the employee or the project. Patio looks worse than it did before the cleaning, repair and sealing. Would not recommend EG Rall Jr. Landscape Design.
Love this company! Quality work and very responsive; had a beautiful patio installed a year ago and used them to clean our gutters afterward; this year they came back for another cleanup and repaired two minor loose stones. Would highly recommend! Thanks Lito & Bernice
I was pleased with the estimate and process from EG Rall and Lito specifically when they were out at the house in the spring of 2017. We did a full yard make-over and had some very specific requirements and we knew the look we were going for. We were initially upset around the landscape fabric that was left in 3 under the mulch, after paying to have all of the new beds rotor tilled. We were also a bit unsure why the beds looked so sparse in mulch, after buying so much according to the contract (16 yds). Also some of the plants died because they were planted on-top of landscape fabric and we simply replaced them (perennials, this is where we knew we had some challenges) In the late summer, early fall we had EG and Lito out to the property to review some concerns around plants we didnt like and some of the craftsmanship, we talked through it and we thought best to let is go and see how things turn out in the spring of 2018, since plants take a year or so to set-up new growth. Well, in 2018 we had some plant deaths and we were still unhappy around a few of the plant selections and we contacted Lito. He came right out and they indicated per the contract EG Rall would not handle the plant deaths and I mentioned the plants we still didnt like and I was told we should have acted in 2017. I was even told, we have a contract, I have your money and its no longer my problem! When I worked to replace the plants, some of the dead plants had no root ball left, and some were planted on rocks. I now have a rock garden from all of the rocks that I pulled from the beds I paid to have tilled. I indicated I would write a review and was told, good, go for it. Initially I was impressed with the company but will not be going back and I would encourage others to keep looking when selecting a landscape company.
