2/13/24 - Updated Review. Customer support called me back and they were able to remove my information from their database - Im expecting no more monthly phone calls and paper invoices. Not getting 5 stars because it took me writing a google review to finally get their attention but they did do good on their word.

Got a call from Matt attempting to bring me back as a customer after I cancelled my services. He was nothing but accusatory, rude and condescending; wouldn t let me speak at all. Their customer service is awful. If you call they don t call you back or call you back days later. Zero stars is what they deserve!

Very Good Tec who did the job.

Have been using Weedman for about 4-5 years now and have noticed improvement to overall lawn health and appearance; way less weeds and more green coverage in every season. The service package is not a miracle that allows one to neglect lawncare but provides timely fertilization, weed control, and aeration to help set the optimal conditions for a healthy lawn. Joe Berkauzer has just started servicing my lawn and most recently did an excellent job aerating, taking the time to do a thorough and complete procedure. Look forward to him sticking around for the rest of the season and beyond to take care of the lawn.

We did our own lawn care for 20 years then chose a company which ended up being a waste of money. We went back to doing it ourselves until I researched 5 companies and chose Weed Man. The lawn has never looked better and all staff are friendly and informative. Todays technician , Mathias, explained everything we needed to know about our new puppy being able to safely use the yard immediately after todays application. Will never go back to doing the job ourselves.

I cancelled service six months ago and they continue to call and email me after I asked them continuously not to contact me. I got a call today and again asked them not to contact me and then they turned right around and emailed me. If they continue I will be filing a complaint for harassment! So unprofessional and desperate for customers apparently!

We have been using Weed Man for many years are have been very pleased with their services and the changes weve seen to our lawn. During our treatment today, Rayquan was very courteous and professional and took extra care answering questions and with the application.

I used the weedman last year for aeration and wasnt happy. I talked to them after and they said there was a different machine they could use this year. I wasnt planning on using them again but towards the end of the summer I figured I would give them another shot. I called and explained my experience and what was told to me about this different machine, I also explained that I would like it done this week and no later than than today (September 20) due to personal timelines. The lady I spoke with said she understood and that wouldnt be a problem. Here we are at the end of the day and at this point they havent come out, I have no expectation they will be here and no communication about why or what happened. Note: I do manage my own lawn care typically, it just easier to hire someone for this service, so this might not be relevant for some customers. However their lack of communication and ability to deliver simple services that they commit to, should be relevant and something other customers should be aware of.

I met one of your technicians yesterday there were two. But one young man Issac stood out to me, he took the time out of his day to explain the process of what weed man does and the system he was pushing.

We ve been customers for 2 years and this company has exceeded my expectations with tick and mosquitos. My dog would get a tick on her even with her treatments and since using weed man- she hasn t had a tick. And the mosquitoes around my area are ruthless I don t even use off spray anymore! Full calendar year of using Weed Man and my lawn is now lush and green. Makes my life much easier not needing to worry about the health of my lawn.

Just had our fall aeration and seeding done today by Rayquan with Weedman. Work was done quickly and neatly - answered any questions I had while he was here and super friendly. Highly recommend Weedman services all around Newtown. Will continue to use them in the future.

In general Weed man has done a great job treating my lawn. Their customer support is amazing. When you had questions and called them, they always got back promptly. Their technicians are great and friendly. Malik has been very helpful.

They do a good job grass looks wonderful, keeping weeds and grubs away. They always call before a visit. Technician Malik was very informative when questioned about grubs and does a great job in treating various issues of the lawn. Rayquan was here on 11-14 to aerate and seed. He did an excellent job with paying attention to the shade areas which was needed.

Weed Man has done a great job helping care for both of my lawns in Bucks County, Pa. They help with fertilization, weed control and they keep the mosquitos away in the Spring and Summer so we can enjoy our outdoor spaces. The team that comes to our properties are professional and detail oriented.

When I moved into my house, the female who passed had a lawn care service set up. When they kept showing up, I called them multiple times and explained the situation and asked them to stop coming to my home. This was a year ago. I still get nonstop calls every month to ask me why I ve cancelled their service even after I told them to remove my number from their call list. The owner told me I obviously don t care about my lawn and property if I don t let them continue lawn service to my home. I just got ANOTHER call yet again today from a female asking the same questions. I don t know why these people won t leave me alone but they are ANNOYING.

Ive hired weedman for the first time. They have been nothing short of amazing. Whomever answers the calls is wonderful, the technicians are quick and efficient. How they bill you is convenient and easy. Im looking forward to this lawn program and how it will improve our current yard.

I was pleased with their lawn service. My lawn looks good. Its their customer service that I rate as poor. During a treatment in May they over fertilized a small area of my lawn causing a burn patch. A simple mistake. I sent photos and received a replay they would reseed in the fall. Why should I wait four months? After complaining they agreed to send some out the following week. I had to follow up several times and even asked for a call from Matt the manager/owner. Twice I was told someone would be out the following week to no avail. I finally received a text Thursday someone would be out Friday but again a no show. I sent an email asking them to cancel my paid in full contract and issue a refund. After 5 weeks my lawn was repaired which took 10-15 minutes. They offered a free grub treatment. Again I asked for a call from Matt the manager/owner....Im still waiting.

We hired this company to treat our yard for mosquitoes. It took them forever to come out and didnt come out when they said they would. I called multiple times and emailed. The turn around rate for getting back to me wasnt the greatest and when they did they sent someone out a week later. The treatment didnt really work but they would of honored coming back and reapplying the application but at this point due to the lack of communication I was done and just told them to cancel everything. The people seem nice maybe just need more staff not sure.

Still a lot of crab grass and weeds the beginning was good but it seems like they didnt do enough for the weeds

The girl who does the scheduling was a mess. (KATE) Never emailed me a quote and then just sent the technician out without confirmation that we even wanted to go ahead with the service. She didnt even have the tic service that i called about. Had me signed up for a yearly service that started in March and and when I asked for my estimate to be prorated I was told I called April 28th so I had to pay for that month. Just seems like they want the money without caring about the service that you want. Should have known something was off when I didnt get a call back for a week and was told she was on vacation. Who goes on vacation during the prime time of the season without someone not answering phones or emails for a week. Then I get a text at 8:45 on a Sunday night that they will be out in the morning from someones personal cell phone. Alot of shady stuff. Seems very unprofessional and someone looking for commission without a care for the customer. When confronting her about the issues I was told that she was busy driving in her car and couldnt deal with my concerns. Customer service is bad. BEWARE

The lawn treatment service was ok but the Customer service was pretty bad. Can t get anybody on the phone and they do not return the calls either. Would not recommend.

Went with Weed Man to try and support local business. The treatments seem fine when they actually perform them but the customer service is absolutely brutal. I am notified only the night before they will be out which can be an issue with prepping the yard. When I asked if I could get two day notice I get no response. Also, my late fall/winter fertilization was supposed to be done over a month ago. I sent a follow-up text and was told it would be done in two weeks. That was over three weeks ago. I do not take pleasure in leaving negative reviews but felt the need in this case to help others avoid the frustration. Going to start contacting other lawn care services at this point.

Weed Man performed a service that was not agreed to. I called to dispute the charges and did not receive a call back. A month later I received a statement in the mail with the charges still present. After another voicemail I received a call back telling me that I had verbally agreed to the treatment on a phone conversation that happened 9/21. The services were performed in December. I left it with them that I would pay the bill but they would not have my business going forward. They seemed fine with this. Within an hour, Matt the owner called me personally to resolve the situation. After our conversation I am happy with the resolution and will continue using Weed Man for my lawn care needs. I am very satisfied with how this was resolved.

They call you and try to sell you on their treatment package with a cancel anytime approach. I read other reviews regarding their services and they are not favorable. Tried calling to cancel but you can never get them on the phone or anyone to return a phone call. I left numerous messages cancelling and sent an email. Do not trust this company.

I have been using Weed Man of Newtown for the past three years. Matt Peters has a team of pure professionals. They are timely and efficient, plus I get emails telling me of their scheduled services and confirmation after they have provided the service. I have a healthy good looking lawn thanks to Weed Man. I made the switch at the beginning of the year and I couldn t be happier with service they have been providing for the last 8 months. My lawn has never looked better and I have used other services in the past. If you want a great looking yard, free of weeds and insects, call these guys and you won t be disappointed.

This will be my second year with Weed Man. My lawn did have weeds over the summer but after bringing this to their attention they sent someone back out to handle it. Overall Im happy I switched from my previous provider despite paying a few dollars more with Weed Man. Theyre local and Id rather support a local business even if it costs me a little more.

BEWARE! We are in our 70s and decided to hire Weed Man for grass/lawn treatments. He was great during the consultation and for the 1st visit however he collected the total amount for the job upfront. After the 1st visit and after getting paid, he was nowhere to be found. My wife and I had to keep calling and asking when he was coming back to perform the services we paid for. Once he would finally call back, he always had an excuse like rain or traffic etc. He was way behind in the treatment schedule. Needless to say, our lawns look the same if not worse after hiring Weed Man. It is not worth it no matter how reasonable he is. You pay for nothing but headaches and I sort of feel like he takes advantage of older residents. HIRE SOMEONE ELSE.

I am surprise that this company received 5* reviews. They should take care of the loan of my front and back yard of my house, but they never did the backyard. They never been on time and they are trying to get paid for fall application scheduled for September/October but they claimed that they did it n December. Do not trust them! Overall horrible experience.

Edit 11/6/2019. I m changing my review to 1 star because that is the lowest possible. Would rate zero if I could. I paid for core aeration and it has not been performed yet. My neighbors lawn was aerated by Weedman weeks ago. They were 3 houses away and didn t do my lawn. I called and emailed MANY times, no reply. Stay away from Weedman. Original review.... This is my second season with Weedman. Their service seems to be ok but the reason for a 2 star review is for 2 things. First last year I had nuts edge and I had to call 5 times before they treated it. This year I called several times for nuts edge and they still have not treated it. Also whenever I call their office it ALWAYS goes to voicemail.

I have always had a weed service, last year I decided to switch from Tru -Green to Weed Man since I do like to support small business. This year I have never had so many weeds in my yard. No customer service , no action plan to get rid of the weeds just excuses. It s a shame to say but they are not good service at all.

Absolutely ridiculous.....We didnt like their service and so cancelled their service last month over phone. Wish we could have asked for a confirmation email. They never sent one. Lo...Today we received the next bill again. What can I say? When I called them several times there was noresponse. Later calls went straight to the voice mail. Avoid them by all means.!!!!

Terrible. They were great when they first opened. But the second year we used them our lawn looked terrible. Tons of weeds. Empty spots and a wierd fungus. I left Several messages and voice mails. Didn t hear back until I refused to pay for the last 2 services. I wad Told on 4 different occasions that they would come out and evaluate and fix my lawn. That was more than 2 months ago. Very disappointed in weedman. Of course they keep calling me for the money.

They scam you for services you never ordered then send your account to collections when you refuse to pay. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
