Cullins Landscaping is a reliable, thorough, and excellent landscaping company operated by good men. I highly recommend the services of Dave and John. My mother in law lives in newton center and her back yard was in desperate need of lawn care. My family lived with her for several months while our home was getting renovated and I wanted to help her enjoy her yard again. I met with several local well established and reputable companies. I was not familiar with Cullins but was impressed by their quote and ideas. Dave visited me and my mother in law to see the back yard. He presented a plan for filling two old frog ponds with crushed stone and loam. He also knew how we could remove the ivy that had overtaken the yard. He even had a way to remove an old Cadillac from the yard. We hired Cullins and I’m so glad we did. John used a subcontractor who brought in a small excavator that pulled the Cadillac to the driveway so we could have it towed away. Dave and John brought in a crew of guys and they filled the frog ponds. They used a liner and stone and loam as they had planned. Then they cut the ivy along the bottom of a stone wall and applied a treatment to all remaining ivy throughout the back yard. They came back every week to check on progress and applied another treatment to ensure the ivy was dead. Then their team cleaned all leaves and brush and applied a top layer of new loam throughout the side and backyard. They laid new seed and even installed a temporary above ground irrigation system to promote the growth of the new grass. Through every step of the process, it was easy to talk to Dave and John. John is personable and works closely with the crew. Dave is always available by phone and email. He updated the quote whenever we adjusted the project or needed different work performed. My mother in law’s yard looks amazing. By next spring, she will be able to enjoy her back yard for the first time in decades as she has always imagined. Cullins Landscaping helped make this dream a reality for her. We are grateful for their services and diligence in completing this transformation of her backyard.

Cullin landscaping came by to give me a quote to aerate, dethatch, and overseed my lawn. Unfortunately I did not use them and later realized that they offered an exceptionally good value for the job. I would definitely recommend them based on their professionalism and fair prices.

Top notch work! Had them clean up my front garden area & put in a small wall/edging. Matt & his crew were on time, professional, & fairly priced. Hiring them again to install a patio for my new fire pit! Unlike numerous other contractors I have contacted, they always get back to you, and show up when they say they're going to be there.

Cullins Service Landscaping did an excellent job transforming our backyard from weed-filled sandy pathways, non-native shrubs, and aging flowerbeds with railroad ties to a green oasis. They removed the sand and railroad ties, added loam, installed sod, and did nice edging around the new flower beds. They worked efficiently were very responsive. Great to work with: highly recommend.

Cannot say enough about these guys! They are super personable and absolutely know their stuff. They are extremely responsive and professional, get the job done quickly with amazing quality and the cherry on top is their pricing. I also love that they don’t pressure you into certain products or services. We were given multiple options for each project we had so we could get what we were looking for within our budget. We have hired the Cullins crew for mulching, front yard landscaping, vegetable garden bed planning and most recently to help fix the jungle of weeds that is our “back yard.” Every time they come I always see them doing little extra things here and there to make our lawn look top notch. They even came on short notice once to do a job before a party we were throwing and EVERYONE commented on how amazing our lawn looks. A couple neighbors have even switched landscapers after seeing our results. We plan to use them for several more projects including installing a back yard irrigation system because we know it will be done well and at a reasonable price.

This is my first time using Cullins Service. They are very professional..came when expected, explained the cost, and did an amazing job on my lawn. They are fast, responsive, thoughtful, and clear on communication.

Extremely happy with Cullins Service. They are always very prompt when I call with a request. My father passed away this summer and I needed a landscaper to maintain his property because there is a tenant living in the first floor apartment.
