Birch Hill Landscape & Design, LLC in Newington

We called Birch Hill to give us a new lawn. We met with Michael who came out to take measurements and provided us with a detailed proposal. The landscape crew, led by John, worked hard in removing our old lawn, regrading, spreading topsoil and hydroseeding. We are very happy with our decision to use Birch Hill and would highly recommend them. Thanks Birch Hill for giving us a new lawn that we can be proud of.

Birch Hill Landscaping & Design LLC is a terrific company to do business with and has awesome customer service - they are very professional, and all of their workers are conscientious & courteous when working in my yard. A top-notch company!

We contracted with Birch Hill to resolve drainage issues with our yard. The solution we purchased from Birch Hill included a stone patio and regrading the disturbed areas to eliminate all drainage issues. The result was a beautiful patio (built by a subcontractor) that has standing water after a good rain with large patches of mud on either side that prevent use of the yard. The drainage problems are worse than when we originally called them. Their excuse was the employee who we worked with and designed the solution left the company and they didn't know what he sold us. The contract states they would regrade all disturbed areas. Their regrading attempts (4) just created a worse drainage issue than we had before the project. They will not fix the mess they created. They do not have any clue what they are doing when it comes to patio build or grading a yard to eliminate water issues. DO NOT USE BIRCH HILL LANDSCAPE & DESIGN. They do not stand behind their work. I have given them multiple chances to correct the problem without success. The name of their company should be Rip Off Landscape and Design.

This is our third engagement with Birch Hill, and we can say each time has been enjoyable. From the specimens provided and their installation to the quality and professionalism of the crew, we are very pleased to be able to recommend them for any landscape services you may require.

Birch Hill just completed an update to my original landscaping design which included cleanup and adding new, top quality, mulch. Their workers met and exceeded all my expectations by performing a professional job. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and customer orientated. This company never disappoints. I highly recommend that if you want to add value to your home property to use them.

My wife wanted our front beds redone to her specification and she worked with Birch Hill to come up with a plan and it came out perfectly! The whole team was professional. They cleared over 40 years of overgrown bushes, plants and especially our rock beds. They replaced the rock with beautiful dark wood mulch and went beyond what they were asked to do and mulched areas that my wife was working on. Birch Hill has done an excellent job with our landscaping projects. We hired them to design and install a garden with bushes and flowers in front of our house and to remove a gazebo and expand and reseed our lawn. They’ve also been handling our fall and spring cleanups. They’re responsive and courteous and they do high quality work. Highly recommended!
