Very professional and carrying folks with this organization. They keep their appointments and services when they say they will. They call a day before as a heads up to keep pets off the grounds till treatment is completed. They are fairly priced based on what solicitations l receive. Recommend them highly.
Lawn doesn’t improve instead become worse. Pictures posted for reference. This is the outcome after 1.5 years of service from them.
I have been a customer for 40 years and have been very satisfied with the service I've received from Lawn Doctor of Newark. Brian was a technician at that time and I had just moved into our new house in March of 1984. That fall, Brian put in our lawn and has taken care of it since then. Many complements on our lawn from neighbors. Can not find any better company to take care of my lawn. Thank you Brian and your excellent crew for your beyond normal service !!!
After many years with another Lawn Service company, we switched to Lawn Doctor last year. We are very pleased with the results. Our lawn has never looked thicker and greener than it does now (and all last summer). It was nice, not having to constantly call for "come-backs" because they took effective care of all the weeds.

I had severe grub damage in my yard. Lawn Doctor's regular maintenance program along with recommendations for aeration, lime treatments and insect prevention restored my lawn to a thick, weed-free turf. I receive many compliments about my lawn. The technicians are courteous and provide thorough explanations of each treatment. I am pleased with Lawn Doctor's service.
I had lawn care and tree and shrub care with Lawn Doctor for about 5 years or more. Recently they did core aeration and seeding and my lawn looks so much better. Great job! I like that they call me always before they plan to come so I know in advance. They are professional and responsive and do a great job maintaining my trees an lawn and this the reason I stayed with them for so many years.

The law has consistently looked like a green carpet, all the years that Lawn Doctor has been our lawn service.
Lawn looked worse after several years. Now having trouble canceling service.
In the future, would like to be notified of date and time when service is going to be implemented.

Tech would never call us when they arrived despite our request since we have a dog. They claimed to just let themselves in the backyard even several times when we were in the backyard they claimed to have been there. Not honest, and will not use this company ever again. Lawn looks worse now than it did before and the mosquitos are worse than ever.
I spoke with Joanne on the phone now for an estimate, she asked all details and then said they cannot give me a quote over phone but only send a quote via email over the next TWO days. Ive never seen a business that cannot provide the price of their products and/or services right away after getting the information they need. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me the manager is not there. I asked how can I get hold of them, she said they would call back. Customer service is rated 0/10.

carried the service for three seasons. the first year i seen a change. the second yr we seen dead patches and the third year our grass was dead and had more bare spots. i will not be renewing my services. i treated my yard this fall and seen a change with in a month.

We havent been successful in getting our lawn in good shape by ourselves. Within a few short months of working with Lawn Doctor, our lawn transformed before our eyes. We had inconsistent grass with lots of stubborn weeds. The yard was treated to kill the unwanted grass and weeds. Then Lawn Doctor power seeded and over seeded. Within a month we had a beautiful lawn. We were blown away by the results.
We built our house in October 1995, We had sod put down when we moved in and Lawn Doctor of Newark has been servicing my lawn ever since then, wouldn t have anyone else

Love my lawn since I have been using Lawn Doctor. I used another franchise when I lived in NJ and had such a good experience I went with them for my home in DE. My lawn looks lush and green after 2 applications. Like carpet!!!! And the cost is good. The techs and the office staff are nice, responsive and very professional!! I have used Lawn Doctor for more than 20 years and have always been very satisfied. You can always reach a person at the office. When they are treating my back yard they call the day before so I can close off my doggie door.; very responsive to individual needs.

Lawn doctor of Newark has done an excellent job of maintaining our 1.5 acres of grass for several seasons now and it is looking better than ever.
I have been a customer for over 10 years. You over seeded my lawn and I still had some bear spots. Called you to come out and look at the problem. I was told that was not going to happen and I could pay for another over seeding service. I said after all these years and this is the way I get treated. I canceled any future service and called another company and saved $100.00 per year. So no I would not recommend you.

I have just switched from another Lawn Service and have been happy so far.
Their products are really good! We had a lawn that was badly damaged by crabgrass, dog use, and very hot weather that they turned around in a year by power seeding and regular feedings.
I love my weed free front lawn. I think the grass grows longer, thicker and greener Than my neighbors. My daughter admired my yard and wanted hers to match. With just a phone call, lawn dr showed up and treated her grass. Her lawn had never under gone treatment. First application, she had results. We both are happy!!!!

This company offered a one-size fits all service and made a determination about what my lawn needed without coming to my home. I foolishly paid for the season. At the end of the growing season I had a consult with another company that actually came to my house to discuss fall needs for seeding and growth; and they pointed out areas of my lawn that were nothing but weeds. I cancelled my service with Lawn Doctor; and I will not be returning. Very disappointed.
Have used them for years. In addition to regular maintenance, over the past 2 yrs they have over seeded and power seeded various parts of my lawn of which I m well pleased.
