Robert offered a wonderful variety of ideas, working with us to come up with a bespoke solution for our new roof deck. The final solution looks great - furniture, planters, and plants. The installation team was quick, conscientious, and did a great job.

I have used them for a variety of horticulture projects on my terrace and they are easy to work with, competent and come prepared to work and work hard and efficiently. They are polite and extremely capable and reasonable with their charges. Robert is reliable and when he tells you he can do something, he does it and he shows up on time and sticks to his schedule. Robert helped us rebuild our terrace garden when we bought our new apartment. It was a complete rebuild including fixing the irrigation system, fixing the outdoor lighting system, removing dead plants/trees and bad soil, and installing new plants, trees, herbs and vegetables. Robert gave us a budget and a timeline and he hit both. We love our terrace garden and the work that Robert and team at NY Horticulture Group did for us! The team from NY Horticulture Group was on time and quickly assessed the logistics of stripping the ivy from a 3-story townhouse in Manhattan. The repelled from the roof and did a great job clearing the ivy, working quickly and professionally. They left absolutely no mess: completely cleaned up. They ended up disturbing a bird next in the ivy, and saved the chick! Rob came over during the job, so there was obviously good management and quality control. I will definitely be hiring them again.

Robert is fantastic! We have a back yard that needed a complete overhaul. Demo of old bluestone and old plantings. He laid two beautiful bluestone patios and created garden beds. He also did planters around the patios and balcony above. I bid the project to many landscapers, and Robert's pricing was by far the best. Many landscapers have designers on their staff and charge outrageous design fees before you even get started. Robert does the design for free basically, and he is just as talented as any landscape architect. As things go, a few things changed during the work (unforeseen items), and he did not nickel and dime me which I really appreciated. He committed to a timeline a few months in advance and on that day, he arrived ready to get it done. They worked twice as fast as any other landscaper told me it would take. His staff was very respectful of our newly renovated house and cleaned up after themselves every day. I highly recommend NY Hort!!!
