Ken has done tree work and other landscaping for us for years and recently was a major help on a significant project. We highly recommend Ken and his crew. They are detail oriented and nice to work with.

GrassRoots was a lucky find for us. Ken Warrington was recommended to us - we had been hiring whatever tree trimmer who cold call knocked on our door. Now I think of Ken as our "tree guy." He removed a big Red Bay that was dying, then a Cherry Laurel that toppled last fall. And another time he did a big prune of all the Live Oak branches threatening our roof. Outstanding worker. I have had a mess in my yard for 3 years and needed alot of work (cut down trees, new fence, irrigation, and designing it all to go together). My neighbors and I asked Hrass Roots to cut down/trim our palms and they did a fabulous job. Professional work and kept is informed. Did building permit and the works. I was very pleased and then asked for the fence , irrigation, and back yard. The best thing about Hrass Roots is they do everything. I did not need to hire 4 providers .. it was all in one. Professional work, the guys are a great team and Ken Warrington is an honest and honorable partner that you can work with. I highly recommend them to take care of your yard needs. I have some before and after pics ... It is obvious which is which 😊.

My live oaks were looking very stressed from the canopy weight, Ken knew exactly what to do and did an outstanding job. Reasonably priced, professional, friendly, and timely.

I hired this service for my lawn. They were very nice and prompt. After their initial service where they cut the lawn too short ( it was terrible) I asked if they could raise their mower. They advised me that their mower was on its highest setting. Ken and I agreed that because they couldn’t accommodate my needs we would cancel any further service and he would refund my money as I paid in advance for the whole month. Ken agreed to mail my refund. I never received his check. After contacting him a second time he told me the check was in the mail. I still have not received a check from him. After a third attempt to communicate with him, I’m still waiting. I would not hire a company that does not stand by its word. It’s been more than a month. Addendum: contractor reached out to me to reconcile our issue. Therefore I’ve updated my review to neutral.

What a great experience! They showed up right on time for the quote. Then emailed a detailed quote in a very timely manner with all of their license, insurance and background screening information. Once again they were right on time the day of the job. They trimmed and cleaned 3 large live oaks removing limbs that were low and threatening to our home and vehicles. Before they cleaned up, the owner walked me to each tree to make sure I was completely satisfied with his work. I could not have been happier with the job they did. After all the cutting was done, they blew off the roof and cleaned the gutters. They cleaned up the yard so well that you would have never known they were there. The professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge they had is not easy to find. Now we can go into the next hurricane season with confidence that our trees are safe. I am so happy we went with them and I highly recommend!

Ken and his team did an outstanding job taking 4 trees out of my backyard. They had about 5 feet of space and these trees were so close to my home the roots were pretty much growing into the foundation. Not only are they professional, friendly, and did an amazing job but also had the best prices BY FAR!
